So I read the New Yorker article by Preston about DePalmer's supposed impact site and I had a bit of a funny feeling about it as to its credibility I couldn't really shake off. And now I've seen some discourse on palaeoblr about the paper calling DePalma a fool so... Was it all a big mistake? I googled it but I'm still confused.

I finally watched the movie! It was awesome!!! I was celebrating when in the room full of clowns there was one in the style of the 1990 Pennywise!!! XD

i’m glad you enjoyed it! it’s good that the movie kept tim curry in mind as well, he did such a good job as penny in the miniseries

Haha, I didn't know if I should post this but now that you all are experiencing stuff: Whenever I walk past a certain gully/drain in my street I smell cotton candy??? (I'm guessing it's just a tree nearby losing resin, but it's still funny.^^)

I haven't watched the new movie yet but read the book years ago. I'd just like to ask if a certain scene was included in the movie because I couldn't cope with it so well. (There were actually two such scenes but with the other one I'm 100% sure they wouldn't include it.) I don't want to spoiler the book for you so I'll keep it vague: Was there a sociopathic boy in the movie who would occasionally hang out with Henry and who at one point got himself a puppy? Just wanna be forewarned.

that scene was not included and out of the bullies henry was the one they only really focused on. if it’s animal abuse you’re worried about then rest assured no animals are harmed in the film. there is one close call but nothing ends up happening (i don’t want to spoil it but animal abuse warnings are very important to me and i’d want to know about them)
