He looked down towards the papyrus that was being referred to, taking it gently into his hands. Despite his past, he had thankfully been taught to read at his old temple, allowing him to understand most texts around him. Whatever was written on this though was a bit odd. Written almost like a different dialect, one the oracle was not used to seeing. Or more correctly, has never seen before.

"Oh...this is quite odd." Kheper spoke, "I can only make out some of it but it does not make much sense with the words I can read..."

Tender Touches... 🦋 Give my muse butterfly kisses

It was always so adorable how flustered Maggie still seemed to get around him even still. That only made her that much easier to tease, but Valentine did his best to hold back as he didn’t want to fluster her too much either! Although he had been surprised when Maggie had been the one who seemed to want to be the one to make the first affectionate mood today. As she approached his desk and carefully set his coffee mug down she had leaned in closer. Well, Maggie had meant to kiss his cheek but instead she batted her eye lashes which ended up tickling against Valentine’s face. Oh, that was very adorable indeed though. He smiled in her direction - although he had been unaware that this wasn’t what she had intended to do. Maggie was already blushing so much just knowing that she hadn’t kissed his cheek like she intended and this embarrassment was enough to make her feel shy again especially after she made eye contact with him. 

Maggie wanted to rush off, but her legs didn’t seem to want to allow her to move either. How embarrassing. However, Valentine didn’t really see this as a mistake - it just made her even more endearing to him. Don’t mind him leaning over to place a soft kiss to her soft little lips. The kiss even tasted a bit sweet - there was something so sweet and endearing about Maggie. He loved being around her so much.

He awoke into a dazed state. He was unsure of his surroundings, only sure of the pain that ebbed from his forehead. What the hell happened? He questioned internally, moving to carefully fumble his way out of the futon he had been laying in. His legs were a bit shaky as he stood yet stable enough to hold his weight, making him continue onwards despite feeling a bit weakened. As he walked down the open hallway he touched his fingertips gently to his forehead, a bit shocked to feel clean bandages there.

His lavender eyes narrowed as he continued his walk. though he didn’t pass up the moment to take in the scenery of a Zen garden. This place was huge wherever he was, certainly not any place he was used to being. 

As he stood there flickers of memories crossed his mind. Blood splatters, his stand’s bright green, someone else...Jotaro. He remembered him. He was the one who... suddenly he regained memory of where he was. His eyelashes flickered at the realization. The sound of one of the nearby doors sliding open made his body tense.

He turned sharply, making his vision blur for a few brief moments. “Hello?” Kakyoin called out, peering forward as his vision focused once more. “Who’s there?”
