@caraxesryder
The last time she'd been on Dragonstone Aemond had lost an eye. But gained a dragon. A fair exchange he'd called it. She wonders if Aegon thinks it's a fair exchange; his sister's life, his cousin's lives, his uncle's life all in exchange for a crown he doesn't even care about. She scoffs at herself staring out at the raging sea from the ramparts of Dragonstone. Does she even think she got a fair exchange? Giving up King's Landing, the only home and only family she'd ever known for what? Her sense of honor, a father that hadn't spoken to her in years? Half siblings she barely knew? Dragonstone with its awful roaring ocean tides and air so cold it hurts down to your bones?
Her thoughts drift back to her father; he'd been standing at the Queen's side as she had sworn her oaths. He had looked something. Triumphant? Bored? Proud? She didn't know him well enough to tell. How long has it been since they'd had an actual conversation, she could barely remember. The day after Leana's funeral perhaps, certainly not the last time he'd come to King's Landing when he had cut the head off Vaemond in the middle of the throne room. In truth she does not know if she even wishes to have a conversation with him. Though her wishes seem to be for naught, as she catches sight of him on the endless stairs up from the beach to the castle proper. She straightens her spine, her hands clasps neatly in front of her as she watches his approach. She gives a polite dip of her head as he reaches the ramparts. "Father."

"I have been cast aside and find myself beyond bored." She replied smoothly, lifting her tea to her lips to take a sip before raising her gaze to his. One elegant brow arching at him in quiet challenge as she added. "What do you think?"

continued from here / @caraxesryder
"Yes, I do." She smirked and looked at him with an amused expression. "I, for one, happen to enjoy your company. Though, whether or not you feel the same does not signify." Anne had been surprised to find out she found his presence rather entertaining. Men like him often gave her a headache, but she found Daemon's behaviors oddly charming. He was charismatic, albeit a bit blunt, and it was a refreshing change of pace for Anne, who had begun to grow tired of the same day-to-day routines. "If I can't convince you to stay, at least let me help you get cleaned up before you go. You look like you lost a fight with a band of brigands."

@caraxesryder because no memes looked good
She wasn't sure why it had been insisted upon that she go to Onigashima to attend to Kiado and the Shogun, but she did know one thing. It wouldn't be good. Her presence, as the highest-ranking Geisha in the country, meant that they were entertaining powerful guests. Even the Shogun, who had helped kill her father and take his place as the ruler of Wano didn't call her for no reason. That was the level of her rank.
Thus as she slipped into the room she'd been directed to in order to entertain their guest, she kept her face perfectly masked. The alluring set to her features one that she'd trained to maintain for years as her teal gaze slid to find the man she was to attend to that evening. Alighting upon hair as white as snow and a completion and facial structure she'd rarely seen she arched one brow. Her lips pulling into the kind of smile that brought men to their knees. "I was curious as to why I was summoned, however, it makes sense now."
The bow was practiced, smooth, and elegant. Chin dipping to the perfect level as she added, gaze dropping as if demure as she added. "My name is Komurasaki. I will be attending you this evening my lord."

@caraxesryder asked: [ choose ] sender has plenty of options on where to sit in a crowded space, but chooses to sit directly beside receiver
This social event was quite crowded, too much to Thinya's taste. Her father had decided to send her, hoping that she would represent the Somerville household with her younger brother, Leidin, while he was traveling for business. Her eighteen year old brother would be her chaperone, an order that her father had given earlier. As she sat quietly at the dinner table, Thinya remained silent. Leidin was sitting opposite to her and talking with other gentlemen, making the woman wish she could've stayed home and avoided this whole evening.
As the valet served her a glass of champagne, the brunette noticed a man sitting by beside her. Turning her head, her green hues detailed him and wondered if she had ever seen him before. "Are you sure you wish to sit by my side? I have heard that my company can be quite dreadful." Thinya commented, a hint of joke in her tone as she took a sip of her champagne. Of course, no one ever said this about her. However, Thinya was known to be the woman who tried to avoid potential suitors at all costs. Much to her father's despair.

@caraxesryder said: ❝ Am I not what you expected? ❞
Meeting another Targaryen was always something that she had wanted after losing her brother. She had heard what her brother had told her about a Targaryen alone in the world and Dany had indeed been feeling that, hadn't she? Like a burden on her shoulders getting heavier and heavier. Daemon Targaryen was not at all like her brother but there was a dangerous glint in his eyes, something dark that she wasn't sure she should trust. A legend himself but Dany was queen of Meereen, she was the Mother of Dragons, she didn't need to be intimidated.
"I thought you would arrive with something more than your name and dragon." She did wonder what he thought of her three dragons that flew over the Great Pyramid even now. "I thought you would arrive with an offer."

"i do not deny it…" asked by @caraxesryder
"You would do well not to since it would be a lie." Rhea huffed slightly, refusing to look her her husband as they sat together at the banquet. Rumors had reached her about his affiars and this was not the place she wanted to confront him about it.
They weren't in love, but he could at least be respectful.

@caraxesryder asked: "I don't believe that anybody's coming to look for you”
"I wouldn't say that your Grace." Kate told the Prince politely. "I am my younger sister's most trusted confident. She will come looking for me soon enough. If not her, then my mama, or Lady Danbury." if only to ensure she had not insulted some less than poor soul.
She cast her eyes behind him to the door to the ballroom. "Though I would say, most would find my being with you alone out here entirely inappropriate." even if they were in eyesight of others, and she was not looking for a husband anyway. she just didn't want to ruin her sisters prospects.

@caraxesryder continued from [here]
Dúathrin eyed him for a moment or two before sighing deeply, a light shake of her head following. "How can I not worry? These beasts are a danger to the realm and the people in it. What if someone were to get really hurt?" She spoke softly. "So far it has been little injuries only. Things that we healers can tend to, but I do not want to think of what might happen if the darkness continues to spread."

@caraxesryder asked: The lowborn claiming dragons, was it her idea?
His gaze slowly shifted from where he was lounging out on the rocks, a bottle of wine dangling from his fingers. There were few who knew the secret of what he really was. That in truth he was older than even Vhagar. Learning long ago, before the fall of Valeria how to shift his form through the use of the very blood magic that had created his kind and the bond they had with the rulers of Westeros. Not even all of the royal family was aware of what he was. None of the greens for instance.
Head tipping back from where he'd been watching the Weirwood he watched the eldest of the bloodline now, dark hues unwavering for long moments before he took another sip of wine. "Does it matter who claims one of my brethren? It is our choice on who we allow to ride upon our backs and claim our power."

@caraxesryder asked: I don’t care how complicated this gets.
Daenys had always wanted her uncle's attention. She had acted out and done foolish things in the name of getting him to just look at her. Now she had all the attention she could ever want from him and all she could do was bask in it. She is staring up at him like he hung the moon and the stars. She reaches a hand out to hold onto his smiling so sweetly at him. She was like this when she got what she wanted so proud so pleased with herself.
"I don't care how complicated things are all I care about is that I have you." She smiles moving in closer and reaching out to touch his cheek. She wants him to kiss her more than anything. There are a few more moments of silence before she absently strokes his cheek smiling at him. "I want you if I have you then the rest is fine."

Aevon blinked when she saw that the Prince was crouching and visibly twisting his lips in a smile. It encouraged her a bit to take a slightly more daring stance. What would she want to know about dragons?
"Possibly everything, sir. That's because..." She replied quietly and uncovered her cloak to show what she was hiding. It was a small, four-legged dragon mostly in shades of deep purple with light purple and pink accents. Although the creature she had recently found was very affectionate to her, she had no idea how to care for a dragon or any kindred creature.
"This is Nevermore." Aevon said, introducing her dragon to Daemon. "Have you ever seen a dragon or a creature of the species like her, sir. She's not like other dragons or anything...I've heard that you're familiar with dragons, sir...so maybe...you could help me with her?" Aevon asked, once again falling into a shy tone. She had never had or even seen a dragon with her eyes before, so she would welcome advice from someone who knew a thing or two about these creatures.
"I've never had a dragon, and I'd like to learn how to take care of one," she said. She added hoping that help would be given to her.
The little girl, Aevon shyly approached Daemon and gently tugged his cloak. “Uhmmm…Hello...Are you Daemon Targaryen, sir?” She asked as shyly as she looked at him. She didn't know if she could learn from him what she was so interested in, but she decided to take a chance. “Will you tell me all about the dragons?” She asked, hoping the man would answer her questions.
He was speaking with one of the dragon caretakers discussion diminishing food sources when he heard a voice.
Turning, he survied behind him trying to find where the voice was coming from only to look down. A child?
"You wish to know about dragons?" he purred, a crooked smirk on his face as he bent down.
"And what is it you wish to know?"

@caraxesryder asked: apparently we’re going to be working on this together now
"It would appear so." Her gaze didn't rise to the prince as he entered the room. Instead, it remained upon the elaborate tea set before her as she moved through the motions of making a fresh pot of tea. Carefully measuring out the dried leaves and then adding boiling water. More than aware that by subtly ignoring him it would most likely cause him irritation. A growing enjoyment of hers if she were to be honest. He was a man whose skin was easy to get underneath. The kind that would have been good practice for kunoichi still in training.
Finally putting down the white wooden scoop in her hands she looked up at him after placing the lid to the pot into place. Motioning for him to sit across from her as a soft smile spread over her lips. "It will be good for both nations to have members of the royal family acting as the face for this treaty."
A treaty that held darker truths than either of their peoples knew of course. His family hadn't reached out for their unique economy or political ties. The true business was taking place behind the scenes, in the shadows. If he were aware of this or not however she had yet to determine.

@caraxesryder aske: "Well, that's one way to make an entrance."
Enola looked at him and cocked her head a little. "I wouldn't exactly say it was an entrance." She replied a small smirk gracing her lips as she placed a hand on her hip.
"Trust me, I have made far better entrances." She then said.
She may be small, may look like she should be a sweet damsel in distress, but Enola was anything but a damsel in distress, she was the one who helped others.
"But I've been invited here, I'm assuming by you, but I am guessing you thought I might be someone else... maybe my reputation was heard of, but I'm not what you pictured. right?" She asked.
