fictional ships are always making me so jealous like why cant i have a best friend/enemy/rival who i share such a deep personal connection with, who makes my whole world feel a little brighter, but i refuse to acknowledge my true feelings for them and instead we go back and forth and miscommunicate and drive one another insane but after years of pining and yearning and pretending the feelings aren't there we finally just can't deny the fact that our souls are entwined so closely, and there's no one in the whole world we would rather be with, that no emotion can be felt as strongly as when it's brought out by the other, and that we would live and die for each other. i want to fall in love with my best friend.

Ok I love young royals and heartstopper more than anything I could talk about it for days but where is the Aristotle and Dante hype? Every sentence of those books is golden, every line poetry. The story is so real and soft and wonderful.
Where are you guys?

All these variations of different tropes out here..
but my favorite trope is always person A adores person B, while person B adores A too but is either too scared to confront it, too lost in life to know what it means, or in denial.
