y/nzuha shippers are the worst because they genuinely feel like their ship is real. like gayer and realer than any other kpop ship out there, and you and yuzuha feed into it so much. even though you were rivals, this shipping thing is actually beneficial to both of your groups. almost all of your group's fans are also fans of yuzuha's group and vice versa bc of your ship. your duo with yuzuha is even more popular than the duos in your respective groups.

ok anyways, so you and yuzuha finally get up and decide to make some tiktoks together and you decided—after depriving your fans of y/nzuha content, you were going to release ALL the tiktoks you made that day. two of them were your group's respective tiktok challenges, then there was like one thirst trap, two of the tiktoks were like those couple trends—yes your fans went crazy and that is an understatement, and then another random tiktok dance challenge.

both you and yuzuha lurk on social media a lot and it's to see the fans reactions to basically anything, you're both hardworking idols—seeing what the fans like and absolutely milking it—in this case, y/nzuha. it's just a cute thing at first like "aw look, yuzuha and y/n used to be on that traumatizing survival show and they're still hanging out and really good friends."

and then it started getting serious like you weren't just a duo anymore, you're a ship. well, you have been since the survival show but with your debuts, you both started getting more fans and as a result, more shippers.

the both of you just look at each other, already plotting different ways to make fans go crazy. your managers had to stop you guys from posting a really really suggestive thirst trap one time, even your members have to give you guys warnings every now and then like you two better cool it!

oh your rivalry would also show in variety shows. there isn't really any room for rivalry in terms of music and popularity 'cause you can hardly control how fans view you and if anything, you both are always so supportive of each other's careers. so when you get a chance to go against yuzuha, you take the damn chance.

variety shows are definitely nostalgic for the fans 'cause you two refuse to team up with each other for games unless you were assigned to the same team. fans eat it up so much, there would be so many clips going around on tiktok, instagram and twitter.

while we're on the topic of rivalry, ISAC is a big day for y/nzuha nation.

when everyone finds out yuzuha was the head of the kyūdō club in high school, they're immediately expecting her to win in archery. but you practiced longg and hard to go against her.

some repost of my old Oberon x Titaguda AU and a ramble why i grew distant from the AUs of Oberon x literal Titania Guda

just want to talk about how my perception of the ship has changed a lot through the years and how Obeguda is genuinely one of the master and servant relationships where you can feel a development from it

back then at LB6 release, i felt like me and a lot of people got stuck and trapped with the idea of Guda being Oberon's literal Titania, but as time goes on its grew more and more obvious that's not the case, and even defeat the entire messages of their relationship

Titania are those that is used in stories and then being discarded without a thought. she's someone who is consumed by the audience for entertainment. someone sacrificed by fate. Similar to Guda who is foreshadowed to suffer that fate in the future

Guda is merely someone similar to Titania, like Oberon Vortigern who's merely someone similar to Oberon. And yet they both embodies those role perfectly. Roles are stronger than mere identities. i realized Obeguda is a way more complex ship than just a mere imitation of Shakespeare's characters

Its about pretenders. Its about suffering from your roles and unable to escape, its about anti-consumption, its about fate.

and yet despite all the themes about faking and lies the relationship between Obe and Guda are so REAL. its about the realness of their characters. how they both relate and find comfort in each other's rotten real identities. that's what his valentine's gift is about

to other people they might probably only care about their outside cheerful and hardworking personas. but Oberon and Guda embrace each other's darkness

Oberon is anti-consumption, he never wants to merely use Titania's name for Guda or vice versa. that's why the only way he can show his true feelings regarding Guda and Titania's similarity is just by referring them with the same pronoun he used for Titania. delicate and subtle, he doesn't overemphasize or muddle both of their roles together. hell even in yandere situation I dont think Obe will still go that far. he held really strongly to his ideals

and while i still enjoy consuming Titania Guda AU for indulgence (and my design is a bomb honestly, I still want to comm art of her lol). its kinda hard me to enjoy these AUs earnestly after you come to the realization

4. What fandoms do you primarily write for?

these days it's locked tomb, but im not picky luv... in my will-probably-actually-write-them-at-some-point wips (not just one-sentence jotted ideas) currently I have TLT, steven universe, xena, interview with the vampire, DS9 (😉), romy and michelle's high school reunion, and original fiction. im just writing so much locked tomb because 1) I can only write so many words in any one month and my backlog of wake/pyrrha/g1deon ideas still has items in it and 2) the fandom is so fun and active that it makes it easy to want to write things for people. I LOVE BEING IN A LIVING FANDOM AGAIN!!!!!

5. Do you respond to comments?

always, every single one. i dont have comment-responding social anxiety whatsoever and i want to encourage more comments lol so i always respond very nicely and with a comparable intensity to the level of effort/analysis the commenter gave ^_^ the only exception is if someone is going through a multi-chapter fic and commenting on every chapter, I won't respond to every chapter's comment so I don't inflate my stats (unless they are truly stupendous close reads like @amarocit's award-winning comments that give me brilliant unheard-of insights into my own text) but will leave them an enormously long gushing reply on the last chapter instead hahaha

6. Angstiest ending?

i guess it depends on how you define angsty... is it angstier to have a really juicy bloobloobloo comfort ending of a hurt/comfort or is ending with the hurt part of a hurt/no comfort angstier... actually wait the answer is obvious lol. #1 with a bullet is This great pleasure of ours is bursting in light (tlt)!!! ohhhhh it hurts lol

um im not really... into those? ^_^ the purest fluff happy ending is off the leash (tlt silly pwp), but the happiest "real" happy ending (i.e., one they had to work for) is probably many traces (janelle monáe's dirty computer fic) or maybe medice, cura te ipsum (johnlock).

not even a little bit. nobody gives enough of a fuck about my work lol. i was slightly apprehensive about this great pleasure because of how gnarly it is but maybe in TLT fandom everyone is good about reading tags and being grownups...

i think i have to be real and say pearlrose (steven universe). my heart doesn't palpitate for it the way it used to but it will never not be the GOAT. honorable mentions: ship I will always click on a fic of, irene/mary (sherlock bbc). ship i like the highest percentage of ao3 fics of, harrow/ianthe (tlt). ship that has apparently made me insane, wake/pyrrha/g1deon (tlt) (i'm not listing it as all-time fave because the sleeper cell has only been activated 1 year so i cant speak to its psychic longevity).

15. WiPs you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

i dont want to curse myself by mentioning either steven universe roller derby AU or (sob) dalí/lacan but each of them was started 8-10 years ago and i set it as a specific goal to finish both of those by new year's eve 2024 and i didn't do it and now it's four months later so. sob. but i only have like 6-7k to write in each so maybe i just need to shackle myself to the fucking coalface and get to work

16. Writing strengths?

grime and slime and pussy juice and the way sex and desire are a little bit gross, erotic realism, characterizations (of preexisting characters, see below), emotional realities. idk what else

17. Writing weaknesses?

diversifying my prose style for different stories & contexts, pacing, earning the emotional beats (I do my outline and then want to bop from one point to the next without building enough connective tissue), conversely doing too MUCH connective tissue and slowing the pace because I lack confidence in the reader, relying on the same few physical actions/beats to telegraph internal states (seriously if you skim my whole oeuvre in one sitting it's embarrassing). the "earning the emotional beats"/pacing one is something really plaguing me atm so now im ruminating on it more. i used to only be able to write 2-4k stories but now that ive unlocked an ability to write longer stories, i feel like i cant re-access that 2-4k pacing brain that allows me to touch intense emotional beats (e.g. one of my best works zombie) without zooming too far in on one emotional moment, then too-lightly zooming out and skipping from it to the next one without spending an equivalent time on the connective tissue

weaknesses that are original work-specific: building characters from nothing, putting them in a setting and a world that makes sense for who they are, building out that world, describing their appearances & outfits

18. Thoughts on mixed language dialogue?

I agree that creative ship names are more appealing (marriage chopsticks is such a cute idea!!) and takes away the rather negative top/bottom <- dick/hole <- masculine/feminine thing you mentioned and I agree with you.

Like sure, in a scenario where the fic is just smut, a often one and done deal, I save more bottom Zhongli fics, but that's only cause he's my favorite--I'm like this with all my favorites. I wish I knew why as it isn't a inserting myself reason (being a touch avoident aroace) and it has nothing to do with the "traits = position"/bleed-over from toxic straight beliefs. To be honest I dont really associate traits strictly to masculine or feminine anyways, since it changes in many ways between individuals, and realistically people have a blend of traits society as a whole would divide between masculine or feminine.

Regardless of what I save more of, I still read all sorts of fics, cause I like the ship and the characters alot (like dude its been 2 years help). I mostly read fics not part of the smut category anyways, even if I re-read them more often by virtue of them often being in the like 800-2k word range and thus easier to keep safe in a doc.

Back to the ship names though. Tbh, however, I do like the convince of name x name if only cause it makes searching up the ships easier (esp in foreign art forums), either cause someone might not know the ship name or cause something like "chili" or even "marriage chopsticks" sorta gives you a different flood of results mixed in. Ex: the chili tag will give some Zhongli and Childe art or fics or whatever, but it will also give you a bunch of results of the food chili.

Iirc this issue is similar to why the transformers fandom uses the #maccadam tag on top of their posts cause just the characters names or universe stuff might pull up unrelated transformers stuff

yes that's true, that's one of the (few) problems with proper ship names sadly. i do think this could be remedied somewhat if, like i mentioned, the fandom would agree to always list ship names in aphabetical order? kinda like how it's done in ao3 for tagging purposes. so childe/zhongli would have no connotations for top/bottom but rather would be like that just because c (and also t in this case) goes before z

and yeah of course if the fic/art/whatever contains sex, then you can start being specific with the tags. in ao3 this is easy bc the main tag is already standard, so even if your fic is top zhongli, the ship tag is still childe/zhongli. but outside of ao3 is where this would of course get complicated. still, with some organization...

whenever i think about this i always end up pondering the one other instance of proper ship names that always stand out to me in a fandom? idk if any of you guys have ever been deep in the pokemon fandom, but the ship names there are- Unique. to say the least. of course i assume it's possible not everyone uses them, but like- you'd be shocked. idk why that fandom in specific does things that way and i have yet to find another one where they pull the exact same bs with so much coordination, but i have to applaud them. they do circumvent a good chunk of problems that you mentioned like the ship name being some other term that skews the results (for those unaware, in the pokemon fandom, at least back when i was still active, all ship names ended in 'shipping'. so like- ruby/sapphire is 'franticshipping', raihan/leon is 'truerivalshipping', etc. this extends to the pokespe and show ships as well (frantic is pokespe-only territory i think), and very few escaped this trend afaik. like the only one i can think of that doesn't end in shipping is bwagency? intriguing stuff. here's the shipping wiki's list, though i think this doesn't include pokespe ships but still. it's hilarious to go through)

Varang pre-movie headcanon

Hello everyone! Every day we get closer to the release of Avatar 3! Ngl I just cannot wait, I wanna see this fire diva in HD full screen! So I had some bit of fun and wrote some headcanon. These are more like fun, silly predictions of how she will be like. I will make a comparison once the movie is out and see how close or how far I was. So enjoy this one!

P.S: I had this done with my good friend @coraline-addams , so some of these are her ideas as well!

Highly manipulative. Like right off the bat, I just KNOW she is gonna be a league of her own in that skill. She gonna be saying shit to not just quaritch but to others and possibly us as the audience. Might make us change our minds about her and warp the perspective into her ideal way. 

Tactical and highly clever. A quick thinker and will have a plan B or an alternative. 

Believes she is superior.  However, she will fight for those in her clan, so long as they follow her orders. 

Holds deep resentment towards Eywa. Will not hear anyone who tries to say otherwise. Hates her so much, she might get really angry and/or lose patience. 

Speaking of, might have mommy issues. 

Total mommy dom. 

Will not bow down to anyone. If anything, they bow down to her. Guess it's another part of her superiority. 

Has a soft but sexy and deadly voice. She is almost like a deceiver. Her voice and looks are contradictory. Harsh and sharp looks yet speaks with delicacy and false sweetness.

High stamina. Very high. 

Her hips AINT gonna lie. 

Enjoys a good adrenaline. Riding her creature, ashley. Yes, I am gonna use that name since the creators did. 

Realistically, she might NOT have any form of romantic interests. I get people low key ship her with quaritch but I feel like she would use him like a dog to obey her. Quairtch might develop something but fr varang gon be like “SIKE!” 

BUT if we feed into our delulu then for sure she loves to keep someone all to herself. Won't share. Not even in poly. She has lost so much, and if someone catches her eye, she aint letting go. 

Will be possessive. Protective as fuck. Though, if her partner kills someone, or does a form of torture method, varang will have heart eyes. 

The big spoon. She will fight on that. Na’vi or human, dont matter. Big spoon all the way. 

A nails girly. Have ya seen her concept art? Manicure is at her core. Make sure they are long, sharp, red and sexy. Idc if they are fake, they are high MAINTENANCE!

Fire above all, is her light, air, her god. Admires the light, its unpredictable pattern and how destructive it can be. Wouldn't be surprised if she can walk on hot burning coal or a burning ground and would even dance on it like nothing. 

Will accept anyone who is deemed an outsider from the other clans. Believes her clan is the best place for others to seek a home. 

She is gonna hate kiri. 

Despite all that she might be, I feel like she will care for her people. Makes sure they are safe in her own ways. Won't let anyone else die, if they do, she will keep their kuru’s with her. She may be an outcast but I don't think she wants to be alone. 

Aaaaaaaaand that is it! Now for anyone reading this after trailers come out for in the year of 2026 or after, know this is written BEFORE December 2025.

I just wanted write this and think what varang could be like given what little information we have of her. I know its going to change once the movie is out. And, once it does, im going back to this and see what is right, wrong, far or close in any of it.

Why I like them/why I don’t: BIRD AUTISM IS SO COOOOOL I love that he's just so absurdly serious in a frequently deeply goofy yugioh, like GIVEN HIS SITUATION IT MAKES A LOT OF SENSE but it's still so funny. guy who takes it up to an 11 when most situations really need maybe only a 5. his dub voice rules also he's got the zane thing where he's either muttering angrily or SCREAMING and i always love that sort of vocal performance hehehe. also lbr raidraptors are just so fucking cool. just a guy and his 3892893435 bigger and bigger birds that are guns. i also need to be real shay is one of those yugioh characters where i decided they were a butch lesbian in my brain and my enjoyment of them just shot right through the roof. transfem shay youre so real to me. thumbs up

What I like about their appearance: AGAIN ARC V CHARACTER COLOR PALETTES JUST RULE SO HARD the different shades of teal in his hair, the pop of red in his bandana, that deep indigo of his trench coat...it's such a good palette he has a very striking design.

Sorta of in depth explanations

1) Oumota: it was literally made in a factory for me, they have everything i want in a ship

Rivals to lovers, narrative foils, an extremely doomed dinamic that could be different if they weren't in such a dire situation, height and size difference and above everything they have such an immense chemistry, muah perfect

2)Saimaki, i started shipping them as a joke but i started to love them so much! I love the kind of bond they must have after losing Kaito and surving the killing game, very codependent i think

But besides that, i wish they played their talents more in canon, because i find the detective x assasin concept to have so much potential (especially considering both of them arent the biggest fans of their talents iirc lol) theres an au i have which plays on that.

3) Kaemugi, doomed toxic Yuri, I love to play on the idea for Kaede having a sorta crush on Tsumugi just for her to turn around and betray her THAT badly, framing her for Rantaro's death

I love the forgiveness but even the necessary resentment (in vr!au), i also love to explore both of them being guilty for what happened to Rantaro (Kaede still planned it) and feels like you could do something very interesting with them in protag!Kaede au!

4)Kiirumi; not my favorite by any means, I find their canon interactions cute

And i like to think about pregame!Kiibo knowing Pregame!Miu and pontentially be her only friend (this is self indulgent, ik) plus inventor x robot slaps.

5)Komaegi, obligatory i haven't finished sdr2 nor watched dr3 so this is mostly self indulgent fun and idk why this dinamic compels me so much

I love how Nagito is designed to be a deconstruction of how out beloved protagonist, i love how they technically started the same (lucky students) but took such different paths, i think you can do a lot with them! Especially considering Nagito obsession with hope...

6) Naegamigiri, favorite poly ship ever, i think they all have such chemistry with each other is insane (yes, even togami/kirigiri but i ship them in a queerplatonic way) they are the married throuple¿ ever and im just so attached to them

7)chimondo, oh boy lots to say about this one but honestly theres a lot of very specific headcanons that i'm kinda afraid to delve into, so i all i will say is that they are cute and it personally breaks my heart how they were (seemingly) friends before the killing game 🫡 i usually ship them together with Taka but i admit I got lazy finding the ship name.

8)komahinanami, differently from the other antag/protag/support ship, this is more that ship both Hinanami and Komahina and I dont want to pick and choose, i love komanami explicitly only as friends

And especially in my au (which is my vr!au but im trying to also fit all the lore from the other games together, its a lot but i hope one day i find the confidence to talk about it), thinking about those three interacting together with all that happened just </3 makes me both happy and extremely sad, gotta finish the game and watch the anime so im sure its gonna hurt a lot

9) Sakuraoi, this is one of these ships that stuck with me a lot, I find them genuinely one of the best written relationships of Thh and chapter 4 as a whole is never gonna not gonna make me tear up

I also, love personally to have a character like Aoi which is usually very good and friendly have such a big emotional reaction that shes open to the idea of killing everyone and herself for the sake of Sakura, i love how DR never hesitates to make their character have big emotional responses that are sometimes extremely harmful like this one.
