"hey, pretty im done moving your stuff, you wanna hangout or do you wanna unpack first?" sunghoon says from the livingroom, you were getting something to drink. "lets hang out!! the dorm has so much space." you said, looking around, walking to the living room, finding him already sitting down on the couch. "lets get some snacks! ill go get a blanket" running to the bedrooms.

when you came back, you already smell popcorn. you both set up the snacks and drinks on the couch, "whatre we watching?" getting comfy, sunghoon put his arm on the head of the couch, "hmm lets watch this" clicking on the movie, you put the remote down to watch.

about 2 hours later, you woke up from sleeping on his shoulder. "morning, sleeping beauty, you fell asleep about 50 minutes in the movie." "omg, im so sorry. did i make you uncomfy?" "not at all." you stared at the coffee table trying to recharge your energy "hey, this is boring wanna kiss?" you turned to him in shock "what?" "what?" "what did you say?" "d'you wanna kiss?- im kidding. lets go to bed?" "wait.. i want to." grabbing his arm, "what?" "what? i mean yeah lets sleep.." standing up, oh my god. that was so embarrassing and awkward, what the hell.

you went to your room but heard the door open, you thought you didnt close the door properly, so you went to close it. only to be met by sunghoon. "WHAT THE FUCK SUNGHOON YOU SCARED ME" holding onto your chest dramatically, you heard him laugh "sorry, i just wanted to say goodnight" you went to sit on my bed, "you couldve just messaged me.." looking at your phone that was charging, "well, were roommates, whats the point of that?" thats true. "okay goodnight! sweet dreams pretty." that nickname always makes your heart flutter, "goodni-" sunghoon leans down to kiss your forehead, you were in shock. "ill go now, see you tomorrow, pretty." he goes to his room. "what the fuck"

im a tumblr user for bl stuff in 2020, followed some huge blogs & learned a lot about bl cuz im fairly new. i had forgotten about it until i rejoined a couple months ago for prapaisky' lita -- expecting to share the same excitement / reading wonderful metas / learning things again

i ... im pretty perplexed to read the blogs i used to read for info / metas im looking forward to ... expressed mean, mean, things.

i felt nauseous. i didnt realize the people whose metas i used to love can be so. cruel. i had hoped i can find some articulation of what I felt, as a shared feelings, but not only i didnt find it, i, felt ashamed to even had my feelings from the first place. i had to dived in the tag rabbit hole and finally found blogs that expressed the opposites, and thank god i did. thank god i did.

(followed them right away, n unfollow thw prev blogs that i now, see, as ... no)

this tho, had me actually ignored the whole tag whlist it airs, and put notif on for the ones i now value, yours included. it got me thru the whole journey of ep11-13, especially, Especially, 12. the special ep tho, the special ep got me branched out again towards the tag and see people bashing it again undermining it as the sex ep. and kinkshaming rain. is it so bad to have a happy, mutual, consent sexual relationship? i thought we dont kinkshame now

First, let me say welcome back to Tumblr! I'm actually pretty new. I reached a year anniversary this month. Though I am not new to bl at all. I'm OG there.

Negative reviews are a part of life. However, there is a difference between being hateful and writing a neg review. There is a difference between cancel culture and I don't watch this or participate in this type of art. I think that people are failing to see the differences. Life is not white and black.

There will always be kink shaming. It's not from men though. It's from women. These same women that are talking shit, reading romance on their kindle when no one is looking and wouldn't think twice about their boyfriend asking them to wear a French maid costume. As an amazing friend once told me, this is your room and you cultivate it the way you need to. He blocks people left and right, creating the atmosphere that he wants on Tumblr. I've learned to do the same. I may end up in a bubble but it's a tiny community of people I truly enjoy and love.

Never apologize for English being your second language. Being bilingual is an accomplishment that should only get love not judgement. You guys will never and I mean NEVER see me criticize the way someone writes, from spelling to commas, to anything. I'll never do it. I might ask for clarification but there will never be criticism. We are all here to learn and better ourselves and that is not accomplished by sitting in judgement.

so since @pinkyypurrs asked me about any other symbolism in this drawing i guess i get to let the floodgates open and talk about some of it!! >:3

they got pretty much all of the symbolism plus a bit more that i didnt really think about, (in the prev tags) but i thought i would just rapidfire off all the stuff that i at least intentionally put in there and why :3 (because some of it was more subconscious like dahlia looking at iris while iris isn't, like it does have a meaning, just not something i was actively thinking about while making this drawing if that makes sense lol)

- the bridges above dahlia and iris are both dusky bridge, just different points in time, and for different cases involving these two. dahlia staged a kidnapping here, and tried to recruit iris for it, then years later, dahlia participates in morgan's revenge plot, during which she switches places with iris and locks her away inside the sacred cavern. just the whole something in the past thats coming back around thing.

- dahlia and iris are both crying and have loose hair near their face. while dahlia's hair is being blown into her face and no one is there to wipe away her tears, iris's loose hair is being blown out of her face, and bikini is wiping away her tears. the tears show how iris had support around her while dahlia did not. their loose strands of hair can also represent the same thing, since no one is helping to keep dahlias hair out of her face, but also some sort of fate thing if you want to get more meta about it, like how mia says that dahlia will always be a failure. fate keeping her hair in her face, rather than iris's being kept out of her face. they both have loose hair, its just a matter of which direction its going

- dahlia and iris's hair is blowing towards each other and merging in the middle. they will always be connected to each other despite how far away they may be from each other, as well as the fact that when dahlia is pretending to be iris, she refers to herself as iris's other half. sure, she might have just been trying to replicate what she thinks iris would have said, but it makes you wonder if dahlia thinks of iris as her other half or not

- dahlia has a noose around her neck, i included that because thats how she was executed, but ill leave a potential double meaning for that up to interpretation since i dont personally have one

- dahlia's hair is super saturated red, bright like the fire on the other side of the drawing, but also an homage to when her spirit left maya's body, and she was shown with very bright red hair rather than her normal, more natural looking red

- there are red dahlias and purple irises at the bottom of the drawing, with the dahlias dripping blood because. well. murder. red dahlias typically symbolize strength and power, and can symbolize love as red flowers typically do. purple irises can also symbolize strength, but also represent wisdom, courage, and hope. also the obvious point that dahlia and iris are their names hence the flowers

- finally, dahlia and iris standing in the center of the picture as children. they only really had each other in the past, as they were taken away from their mother and raised by their father in a home where they didnt get much love. they are wearing white dresses, white representing purity and innocence, however, their dresses are bit dirty, with dahlia's being slightly dirtier. i had two thoughts about the meaning for this.

1. the dirt can represent the lack of love from their childhood. having two parents who didnt care about them much surely would've messed them up a bit (a mother who didnt have any use for them since they didnt have any spiritual power, and a father who only wanted into the fey family for the whole potential power and control over the clan that morgan would've had, had misty not become the head) the only difference in their treatment is that eventually when iris was dumped at hazakura temple, she was able to have a parental figure in bikini, while dahlia never got that. she was stuck in this situation for a longer amount of time, thus hurting her even more, resulting in the dirt on the dress.

2. once again, a more meta lens can be taken to this one, but this time instead of dahlia being destined to be a failure or whatever, this one could be attributed to how she is seen, both by the writers and other characters. dahlia was intended to be seen as pure evil, despite having a sympathetic backstory, she was never made into a sympathetic villain, nor was her backstory ever acknowledged by any character besides iris. the characters in the story, like mia, think of dahlia like a demon, and the writers wanted the players to think of her like that too. they wanted her to be just pure evil with no reason why, although there is a clear reason why she turned out this way. (not excusing her actions of course, but her backstory is worthy of being taken into account) this extra dirt on her dress could show that despite the sympathetic background, shes shown to be inherently evil, while iris is not. get as meta as you want with the whole white dresses thing

and thats about it for what i intentionally included! of course art is up for interpretation and so there there is more to potentially be extracted from my art, but this is at least what i included on purpose :3

He found the situation funny, lately you’ve been into cooking, not that he complained but it was not usual for you to find interest in these sorts of things. “don't be such a baby” he replied “but why are you trying to bake a cake at 11 pm” he questioned “in my dorm”. You just rolled your eyes “you wanted me to come over” you pouted.

“i mean yes” he slowly approached you “but to watch how stupid nabi is, not to get a front row tickec to nailed it broke college student version”

“heeeeeeey” you pushed him “tae says i'm getting better, besides” you added “you will eat anything i give you so stop complaining”. Some hours had gone by as you finished baking the cake, beomgyu wanted credit for your creation but all he did was eat the frosting, and some of the ingredients too. “gyu look” you called him as you took your cake out of the oven “this one is not burned” you said happily. “well that's progress” he replied “remember the one that looked like coal and was uncooked on the inside?” he said laughing “i don't know what laws of chemistry you broke that time”

Spending time with beomgyu always made you smile, you always had a good time with him.He had become your safe place, somewhere you could always go when you weren't feeling like yourself. “y/n” he called your name “at what time are you meeting asshole one and asshole 2?”. you looked up from the cake you were decorating to give him a conffused look “ummmm?” was all you could say.

“y/n let's get some sleep” he sounded tired “it's getting late”.Most people your age would be partying late on a friday night rather than baking a cake at midnight,but you weren't into parties, at least not anymore. “alright” you said “just let me clean my mess” you started putting all the things away when you felt beomgyu’s head rest on your shoulder, “dont worry about it” he said sleepelly “i'll do it tomorrow, now come on”.

He gently grabbed your wrist and led you to his bedroom, it was common for both of you to have these types of sleepovers, anyone that didnt know you would assume you two were dating. Things with beomgyu felt so domestic, yet you were still very convinced that you two were just friends. You climbed on the bed with him as he wrapped you around his arms, you had done this before, many times before, but then why did it feel different this time? What was happening? too tired to think more about it you let it slip and returned the hug.

“Good night gyu” you said, to which he replied a soft murmur, you could tell he was very tired, but still he stayed up late helping, well watching would be more adequate, you do something that made you happy, he let you invade his space every time you wanted. You spent a lot of time at his dorm, but it was because you didn't like to be alone. And if it was with him, well you definitely did not complain.

We've been doing that for (2) seasons, I'd love if season 3 could be like, his parents adjusting to this and trying way harder to learn more and accept it (and the shenanigans that could come from that) and for fun, if he didn't wipe the students memories, it could be him being popular for a while, then everyone slowly realizing, oh, he's still Danny. Like. he might have ghost powers but hes Just The Same Guy instead of putting him on a pedestal (and seeing them all try and help him hide it from the giw/people who don't know!!)

-fuck they didn't even explain WHY he wiped everyone except sam, tucker and jazz's memories. he just Did It right when his parents were saying they loved/accepted him!! and sam and tucker didnt question it at all!!! HELLO??? very annoyed about this turn of events.

The Hargreeves siblings are dead.

Ben isn’t very aware of this at first. He’s been dead since 2006 -- he’s quite used to it, by now. What he is aware of, first, is light. Blinding white light. And Vanya, in the middle of it. He doesn’t close his eyes because he can’t feel pain, but if he could he thinks she would have made him blind. There’s light, and heat, and power, and then he closes his eyes anyway because the ceiling is collapsing around him and it’s instinctual.

When he opens them again he sees ash. Ash -- and Klaus.

He’s gotten used to Klaus, too. Klaus has a memorable sort of face; even if he didn’t, Ben has seen it every single day for almost twenty years. He doesn’t know if it’s actually been twenty years, for him. He doesn’t know how time moves for ghosts. Klaus has assured him it moves the same as it does for the living. Ben isn’t sure Klaus, stoned out of his mind, bleeding sluggishly from his arm, knew what he was talking about.

Anyway.

Klaus.

He’s wearing the coat he’s been flaunting around for the past week. His shirt is see-through, with little stars on it, like a pale imitation of the sky. Ben remembers his pants had laces on them, he’s sure they did not a minute ago, before the brightness that threatened to wipe out his very soul -- his soul is all he has left, really. His gaze drifts down anyway, to check.

Yes. Klaus’ pants have laces up the sides.

“No,” Ben says. Klaus is laying in a heap on the ground, his fingers curled like his tendons have been cut.

His lips feel numb because they always feel numb. Because Ben can’t feel at all. He takes a step. “No,” he says again, louder, surer. “No!”

Klaus looks up at him. His makeup is smudged, like it tends to be. His lips are bitten raw, like they tend to be. His hair is a mess, like it tends to be, and like it will be, always, because Klaus isn’t breathing.

Klaus is lying in a heap on the ground. Klaus is standing above his own body. Klaus is reaching for Ben like he’s hoping to touch him for the first time in years. Just when Klaus’ cold, dead, fingers brush his face, a voice from behind says, so quietly, dripping with disbelief: “Ben?”

Ben shuts his eyes and wishes desperately he could cry.

He feels a hand on his shoulder, for the first time in so, so long, but he also doesn’t feel it at all. He feels-but-doesn’t-feel someone turn him around, until they are saying, “Ben? Ben!” and he has no choice but to open his eyes and face the music.

Diego is gripping his shoulders like he is a dying man and Ben is the answer. Behind him, Luther and Allison watch them, stunned silent. Allison’s hands are pressed to her mouth. She looks like she wants to cry. 

And Vanya. Little Vanya, painted white. Her head is hung as her shoulders shake with the weight of the destruction she has so inevitably caused. (Ben would say he always knew she was destined for great things -- but he can’t, because he didn’t.) (Nobody ever said great things had to be good.)

The Hargreeves siblings are dead. Their bodies are strewn across what is left of their childhood home, smouldering and burning, and Ben is very aware of that fact.

righto anyway. so they have an emotional reunion but its also kind of bitter? id have to actually write this for it to make sense so lets skip it for now lol

dammit okay. theres 2 options we can take here. in the comics five couldnt get back bc he fucked up his math and spent 15 years doing the wrong thing, but if u apply that here, with 6 other ppl checking his work this could be avoided and they end up skipping the whole assassin shtick and just hopping straight back to 2019, ready to prevent the apocalypse

i didnt go into how much losing his siblings would suck in the prev path but like. it would suck so much. he’s already lost them once if you think about it when he time traveled the first time and yeah he found the adult ghost versions but,, its different

and now suddenly hes stuck with these strange adult versions of the people he knows and he KNOWS them but also he doesnt? at all? they dont have all the years of shared experiences together? and theyre all grown up from the first ‘set’ of siblings he had which for five was like 40+ years ago??

-I don't know what I expected s2 to open with. but danny portal incident in more detail was not it. (also, I hate to break it to you, sam, but danny's parent's bigass ghost hunting rv def chugs more gas than those vehicles, lmao. unless it runs on ectoplasm or something...)

-WHY WAS DESIREE IN THE SEWER? HAVING TEA WITH IT DOWN THERE?? Her making the giant cow come alive is a boss move, we've almost had all of my fav animals as ghosts now <3 I also don't like how sam was expecting danny to just, haunt the place so the cars wouldn't get sold? I KNOWWW I know she's 14 (and I had a very annoying phase like this, I think I mentioned in a previous post, I GET IT) but they're HIS powers, and messing with (1) dealership will not really put a dent in sales overall because they can just move the cars to another sales lot, and it certainly wont change the industry anyway, it's more of a minor annoyance for (1) location. Also, usually people who work at car sales places work on commission, so if they dont make a sale, they don't have money to pay bills, or eat. sam baby if u wanna be an activist you need to like, actually look into these things. with as much money as her parents have, she could be doing a lot..more useful things for causes she cares about? it's frustrating to see someone with resources who doesn't know how to use them. but shes 14 so again. cannot be really upset :/

I know, he also agreed and walked into the portal. but. she made the choice to redo it SO quickly (even if it was because someone had to beat desiree) and danny, during their fight, brought up a lot of stuff sam's done in the past, meaning he was holding onto those memories and resentment was building. (I KEEP SAYING HE LOWKEY NEEDS THERAPY, BUT I THINK MOST EVERYONE IN THIS SHOW KINDA DOES) which...is a red flag? and then they didnt even GO to the party URGH I know she tried to make up for it, but it really felt like Sam fucked up and barely faced any consequences and got everything she wanted in the end. I KNOW it's a kids show obv they aren't going to go too in depth, and she undid the damage, kinda, but...I DUNNO how to articulate it but it rubbed me the wrong way.

-but on a note about desiree, her powers of wishes were STRONG ENOUGH TO ERASE NOT JUST THEIR MEMORIES, BUT DANNY'S POWERS?! fuck, if I was danny I'd be like, trying to make friends with her. I know they always have horrible side effects as most genie-granted wishes do, but...c'mon, I'd at least TRY to be like 'I wish no ghosts would hurt anyone in my town' or 'I wish vlad would lose his ghost powers forever no matter What and also forget about my mom' LIKE. SHIT DESIREE IS SO POWERFUL. rewriting reality powerful, basically!! appreciate her. respect her.

-aww, sam helping tucker pass the nurse's office so he wouldn't see because he's afraid of medical stuff? very sweet. I also don't like medical stuff, I've gotten a lot better at handling it tho. but seeing blood and needles still makes me feel lightheaded x_x

-FOLEY, BY TUCKER FOLEY. I want to make my own perfume, that's so cool. even if his first attempt isn't good, he's pretty consistently shown to have an inventor/entrepreneur streak in the show, so like. I can see him inventing or making something (or several somethings) that make him $$$ when he grows up :) proud of my creative son

-I know the 'creepy abandoned hospital on the edge of town' is a joke and the creepy hospital trope is so Worn Out, but in my town we actually DO have a hospital like that! my dad was born in it, but its not in use and hasn't been for, like, 20 years! it needs to be torn down but I think the city doesn't wanna pay the money. the inside is horrible, spray painted and broken glass and shit everywhere. but there's still like, rusty equipment and fucking DOLLS all over the place. the cops drive by it pretty frequently to make sure no one is like, breaking in. (because of water damage, some of the areas really aren't safe. also, asbestos, but people still go in anyway) but also, some of my town was used in a filming for a stephen king show. So it's lowkey spooky all over. just a fun personal tidbit :) to lead into saying, any hospital abandoned for any period of time is NOT safe to quarantine these kids in JKSAHDKF like I KNOW it's a ghost trying to do this, but NONE of these parents are even like, 'well, why dont we keep them in the regular, working hospital'....YIKES. this hospital looks pretty accurate to the one in town. grungy and spooky.

-ghost sickness via ghost bugs. horrifying concept. I actually expected it to be a new villain, not dr. spectra again! this is a very elaborate scheme. her new form rules, love the new costume. the way none of the bg kids seem to recognize her as their old school councilor. did we just forget about that completely?

-dash watching romance movies in the fucked up ghost hospital. same.

-'oh please, you're ghosts, do you have any idea what YOU smell like?' no, tucker, what DO ghosts smell like? I genuinely didn't know they would even have a smell, I actually want to know now.

-it feels like a while since we've seen jazz!! i was happy to see her again, even if she was a head in a jar for most the episode. I want another jazz-focused ep!!

-we finally see danny doing space-related stuff!! him and his friends stargazing to open ep 3 of s2. cute :) until, GHOST PIRATES!!!!! ...ghost pirate captain is a small child?? VOICED BY TAYLOR LAUTNER???

-oh, the easy listening is ember's song instrumental slowed. 'vapor drone' THEY VAPORWAVED HER!!! ember in a pirate outfit tho >>>>. and the cruise being called m.bersback JKASDHJK. ember adopting a little pirate brother is also pretty cute. concerning this teen and little kid have such bad opinions of adults, like, who hurt you?? (how did you DIE ALSO?? im always lowkey curious about that. we know desiree died at an old age, but her ghost form is young, probably mid-20s, so I wonder how that sort of thing works...its a more mental thing, isn't it?) but ghost team-ups are always cool to see, even if ember bailed after danny took her guitar. I guess she probably thinks youngblood can handle it (which, he's been owning danny this far in the ep, so...fair)

-danny taking control of the kids SO FAST. he makes a pretty great leader. no one is surprised, im pretty sure I said I think he's the most mature of the trio, once again, correct, because he's taken on so much responsibility already. all the teens suiting up in the jumpsuits to go save the adults and taking the ship over with a BLIMP. OKAY LETS GO. this feels like it should be a mid finale or straight up finale.

-...speaking of finales. why is ep 4-5 of s2 combined into a 50 minute episode? -valerie being direct with sam and challenging her? kinda love that, even tho I normally don't like 'catfight' type situations. because sam has been very passive aggressive about it which is annoying. valerie knows wtf she wants and wasn't even embarrassed to tell sam, but she did tell her, giving sam time to make her own move! and sam denied it and got embarrassed/mad! and sam did have a chance when danny was about to go off and fight, and she hesitated and didn't tell him. I feel like she's hesitating because they're friends and it might make it weird between the trio (poor tucker would be third-wheeling) but if u snooze u lose, u gotta GO after what u WANT girl. smh this is a No Tsundere Zone. 😤

danny phantom, season 3, episodes 7-13 thoughts! cannot believe im finishing this series so fast. ...cannot believe it ended like that...uh. one of the weirdest finales to a show I think I've seen, it really stood out against the rest of the series, and not in a good way, in my opinion. I love dream plots. also, nocturn's design feels very similar to clockwork, like, red eyes and a scar over the same eye, but also just the purple, and the Cosmic Vibes. I want to see them fight. anyway nocturn's va was also avatar roku AND alfred in several batman cartoons.

-the 'sleepwalkers' designs were super cute in shape (kinda remind me of oogie boogie! pillow-cased shaped, which is appropriate for the 'king of dreams's minions) until I looked closer at their eyes. why do they look sewn shut!! (they open their eyes a few times, so they aren't, but they look like it...)

-I like how this show has been pretty consistent (with a few exceptions) about a Ghost Being Huge (or getting larger) = Very Powerful

-2 months of summer camping??? wtf, do camping things usually take that long?? I've never been to a camping...thing like that. but isnt that basically their entire summer??

-I don't know how to articulate how FRUSTRATING THAT IS. having him basically out himself and ''hold the world hostage'' does not track at all in my brain. like. he's always been scary because he is HUMAN, TOO. like, if he was 100% ghost, he'd be LESS scary, but vlad MASTERS has more power and influence than vlad PLASMIUS because of his position as mayor, his money, too, and his (supposed, s3 made me doubt it) intelligence/manipulation skills, and his being in good graces with jack made it HARD FOR DANNY. him outing himself for,, money and to 'control the world' i guess?? MONEY WAS NEVER HIS LIKE, MAIN GOAL. yeah obv he likes money and is materialistic and values his Rich Life, but hes got billions, the end goal? 1. getting maddie (and or danny as his son, but to me he always treated that as secondary) 2. ruining jack. this feels like they wanted to say 'oh he just wants POWER' which is. HMM?? OKAY?? obv he /does/ want power (usually over certain ppl, tho), but seeing him try to get it like this FELT WEIRD SOMEHOW. weird like the ep where he tried and failed to take over various historical civilizations, because like,, how is that realistically going to do anything for him?? just, being in that time forever and never seeing maddie aka Goal #1 again?? HELLO??? this was like that, but worse

-this was such a weird ending to an entire show. why did season 3 only have 13 episodes?? why did it feel so weirdly paced?? WHY WAS THE ENDING LIKE THAT. I think. I am going to pretend I did not see that. fucked up, dudes. I'm like...hm. I shouldn't have watched that because now I'm mad. valerie sweetie im SO sorry you shouldve been more present. it felt like..if they knew this season was going to be short, and the last season, they should've spent more time wrapping up EVERYONE'S plot lines for the entire season. imagine how cool it wouldve been if every single ep of season 3 was working towards something, a big, nice wrap up at the end, with nothing feeling TOO rushed because they'd been heading towards the End for the whole season....

I will probably end up writing a follow up full series thoughts post. In a couple of days so I can sit with my thoughts. BUT. overall, I really liked the show! (ignoring the finale and some of the moments that aged pretty poorly...) it was charming and a fun concept and very fun to watch in general :) and I am pretending the finale didnt happen <3 and I’m gonna dive RIGHT into the dp tags and mix fanart and posts in my queue, very excited to run and look at that 🏃🏻 (and, of course, make more fanart myself hehe >:3)
