I’m watching Netflix’s Merry Happy Whatever, and we’re at like day 3, but I feel like more than a week has passed... I got used to the laughing track, but I lost all sense of time.

This is just a quick interlude to the story to talk about the Reader Character

Codename: Memphis Mama

Appearance:

For self indulgent purposes, I hc her as small end of plus sized range but... she looks like you! This is meant to be completely self insert, although I do give her some defining personality traits.

What's her romantic past?

-She's been hurt, badly twice, but she tries not to let any of that get in the way of loving Austin. She only wants him to be happy. Austin knows you've dated someone famous and it went badly. He knows your ex, and is not a fan, but he's secure that he's a better man.

Her parents aren't happy that she's dating someone famous again, it didn't go well the last time, but they leave her alone about it mostly.

Who has she met?

-At the start of the story, she's knows Austin, Olivia, Baz, Catherine Martin, Ashley Tisdale, and Austin's vocal coach and PR team. She doesn't know anyone from the Presley family, but she met Riley Keough briefly. That will change quickly though.

Why the Code Name?

-You work in PR. You met Austin many times over the years, he has known you casually since you were an intern, and now as a partner of the PR firm that represents him.

The codename is actually a joke between Austin and your boss, because, you see... a week after you and Austin started seeing each other, you were promoted to full partner overseeing different teams. That was an awkward meeting, but you both decided that you would no longer be on the team overseeing his press and exposure, and that when speaking of Austin's girlfriend, no one in your division would know. It's worked out well so far, and your boss kindly lets you look over the plan for Austin's PR exposure once or twice a month. She knows you're protective of him, and having worked with you for years, she's protective of you.

How did she meet Austin?

-Shockingly, not in PR. You met the old fashioned way- boy meets girl, girl has a boyfriend, boy has a girlfriend, they become friends, they dance around each other, they get in a fight, and the feelings bubble over. Overall, its a long story but you know too much about each other to not know that you'd found the love of your life. He claims he knew when he saw you. You don't tug at that thread because you love and trust him, but it makes the string of girls between meeting you and getting with you very suspect at times.

Why Memphis Mama?

-this was confusing to a lot of people because you weren't together during filming, and thus didn't go to memphis with him. His reasoning for the nickname was simple: "She's the Mama of MY memphis mafia." This was during the full fledge of his prolonged Elvis obsession, but he has never indicated wanting to change it or call you anything else. He loves being surrounded by the people he chooses; he's very shy but he loves the people he's close with, and he considers you the "Mama" of his small group.

When he's feeling bold or a little dominant, he calls you His Mafia Wife. You are certain this is a kink of his, having a protective woman with a dangerous side to call his own. Only the two of you know that side of you, and he plans to keep it that way.

I was listening to some old music when Ashley Tisdale (Sharpay!!)’s song “Me Without You” came on. Now I like to imagine that if Sharpay had gotten a big, dramatic, heartfelt solo a la Troy or Gabriella in the movies, it could have been something like this for her and Ryan. He would be one of the only people to see her vulnerabilities and flaws and still love her completely. The mental image is v sweet.

Ashley Tisdale (born July 2, 1985) is an American actress, singer and producer. She’s best known for her role as Sharpay Evans in High School Musical. Ashley’s released two studio albums. Her debut album, Headstrong (2007), was certified gold.

If you do not see your characters name on this list, or if you happen to get paired with one of the other characters you play - please message us POLITELY and let us know - the generator was a little weird, but hopefully, everyone is accounted for - if not, we’ll fix it, don’t worry :)

Remember, we are NOT mandating threads to be completed during this trip, however, we do expect everyone to reach out to their roommates, people you don’t normally talk to, etc, and simply branch out. If this goes well, we may  do future trips without a  mandated thread. However, if this doesn’t go well we will go back to mandating threads. We are trusting you all with this. 

Please be mindful that we have an activity check before the trip, so do expect some changes! If your partner goes inactive or  leaves the roleplay during the trip - the list will not be updated. Your FC just will no longer have a roommate for the  duration of the trip to avoid confusion since this is only a weekend trip and not a week. However, if we get new members come in during the trip, they will be added to the roommates list accordingly.

∂ SEMI-SELECTIVE BLOG: I reserve the right to respond to whichever threads I would be keen on, I am meticulous with my choosing of writing partners because I like to write with ones that place as much effort and involvedness in their writings as me.

∂ NO GODMMODING: my characters are sovereign beings that should be allowed to their own responses rendering to their cogitates and traits, do not try and assume reactions as I won’t undertake your character’s.

∂ TRIGGERING AND MATURE THEMES: I am over twenty one, there will be some focuses not suitable for underage, it is because of it what I will not write with those who are younger than an appropriate age Themes that are not acquiescent to bylaw, please if you are underage don’t approach me with themes that revolve around NSFW, gore, abuse, etcetera, I won’t… no matter if we are friends.

∂ MULTI-SHIP & MULTI-MUSE: This is a multi-muse blog which means there is more than one active character, each and every character may have several threads, but one is independent that the other, no thread is to be involved with another, so there will be no jealousy, cheating nor involvements in between.

∂ RESPONSES: I take my time for responding threads, it is not because I am ignoring you, nor am I prancing to favorites, merely it is matter of time and which muse and thread I have more enthuse for, each and every writing partner, along with their characters, I love, this is why I chose to carry on with threads, and I will respond to each and every one of them on my own time, if you think it has been long since a last reply please message me at once, sometimes I miss replies due a faulted activity tag…but moreover, I have all saves in drafts.

THERE ARE CERTAIN THINGS THAT WON’T BE DONE, ACQUIESCENCE NOR ALTERABLE.

I will not carry on with a thread that consists on one liners when there is no icons nor gifs and  pretend to past as para.

I am fond of writing so I will take time to do replies, I will give quality and I expect others to make an effort in they replies, I am an amicable person that enjoys writing along others, but It is not motivating for me to have little to no effort of others when I do think of each reply.

If I have not replied to a certain thread is possible and most accurate that I am taking my time until  I get inspired to be able to give as you deserve.  

Generally I am always busy with school, homework, and my job, so I may appear one moment and disappear the next, however, I have everything drafted and to be replied.

Don’t force a ship on me, I rather let it roll along and see where things go.

I have quite a list of banned FCs, I wonder why both, my muses and myself, are far too picky when it comes to whom we write with and which threads we would like for each individual character.
