After Badr left, Esra gave birth to a baby girl, which Badr never got to meet, or know. She was a very hyper young girl, just like her older brother. She had the same purple hair as Sinbad, but e/c eyes that Esra thinks she got from a distant relative. That was ten years ago. Sinbad is now 14, and his little sister is 9. While Sinbad was away getting things for the village, she was helping her mom around the house with the cooking and everything else she could help with. Sinbad decided to come back when she was out. He had also brought a guest home.

"Sinbad!!!" She called out when she entered the house to see him back from the ports.

"Y/n!!!" He called back when he saw her mustard-coloured dress coming through the door.

"Where have you been?" He asked her as he hugged her close and tight.

"I was helping the village people." She said with a grin on her face.

"That's good," Sin smiles at her, "Did you help them a lot?" He asked her.

She nodded her head and then looked toward their mother with a smile on her face. Sinbad put her down, and she ran to their mother to hug her as tightly as she could until she fell asleep in her arms. The next day the army came to get Sinbad, but he refused to go with them. However, Esra convinced Sinbad to go and do it for himself. He did it for her and to get a better life for his family.

But...

He didn't think that he was going to be in the dungeon for two months. When he got back, Esra was worse than ever, but she was just happy to know that Sinbad was off doing what he should have been doing for a while now. She passed on, and Sinbad was left in charge of caring for y/n. The village decided it was best if y/n stayed with Sin even if he was travelling all over the sea. They were both happy with that decision. When they reached the Imuchakk tribe, Sin made sure to keep y/n a safe distance from the beast. However, he couldn't do much to protect himself when he went into the dungeon. When he came back, she was the first one he went to.

"Have you been a good girl?" Sin asked her when he had her in his arms.

"Yes! Ask anyone!" She said as she gave him a massive grin, and he knew she was telling the truth as everyone was laughing with her.

He introduced her to everyone new, and she greeted them like old friends. They all did the same, not only because she was Sinbad's little sister but also because she was too adorable for them not to. They all celebrated joining forces until they had to start their next adventure across the sea.

Sinbad knew that there was a long adventure ahead of them, but he wouldn't let anything happen to his family especially his little sister, y/n.

Something I thought in my head to be really cute is what if around Christmas time in Sindria and Mori feels a bit homesick for not celebrating it and they kinda miss the snow but when Sin finds out he turns the entire country into a winter wonderland for a day.

I think about this every winter since I started writing Sindria's Prophet. I realized that 1. making that much snow in Sindria would destroy the ecosystem, and 2. vacation to IMUCHAKK because his future spouse said "( ; ^ ;) I miss snow, but it's okay" would so much fun!!! So I am definitely going to make that happen for one of the Decembers when Alibaba, Aladdin and Morg are off studying for 2 years

And when it does, Mori is going to knit so much in preparation! Because I knit a ton. I'm definitely having her remake my favorite hat and sweater. And seeing it will definitely lead Sin to ask for her to make things for him too

Name inspiration: Rereppun -> Imuchakk tend to have repeated syllables in their name. Reppun Kamuy is the name of the orca deity in Ainu culture

“How’re we looking when it comes to our working relations with Sasan?” Sinbad had just arrived from a rather tedious voyage, and judging from his worker’s cheerful disposition things were looking great so far, he’s even given how much revenue they’d gotten over the months and it was all so surreal. “Thanks a lot. If anything we’ll take another trip to imuchakk, there are a few materials that i can only get from there. We need to be ready if we’re going to invade Parthevia.”

Sinbad said softly as he left the area, there was a plan to overthrow Barbarossa without getting the citizens involved. He’s seen the horror that lay beneath its land but unfortunately, he could not have done anything about it then..but he promised that he would one day return and save them from their eternal torment..the only way he knew how.

After that he needed to contend with the life of being married considering he was engaged now. Serendine came up with the idea of making his dreams come true via a union between the, He would become a king in name whilst continuing on his journey of unifying the world and putting an end to war. Serendine explained that it will simply be them serving one another’s interests. He will be using her and she will be using him..simple.

Yet, the moment he felt warms wrapping around him his mind quickly traveled back in time towards Serendine’s proposition. She had given him the permission to give himself a concubine or two..however, he began to wonder just how truth that statement was. The embrace she gave him was not one of a woman that would be fine with seeing the man she married out and about with another, oh it was something much deeper..something selfish and of course Sinbad being himself took this as an opportunity to tease the princess.

"You've been awake for quite a while, haven't you?" Zarina offers him a smile, taking into her hands the beautiful present. He has good taste compared to how he started off at Reim. Rurumu taught him well the importance of good taste and knowing good gifts when he sees them. Ah, he knows her tastes so well now! "You've learned how to choose a good present, Sinbad. It's beautiful."

Without hesitation, she decides to put it on right away. The wristband makes her smile in satisfaction, it light weight yet elegant design makes her quite happy. She wants to show it off in the empire while walking around today. There is some business to be done if she wans to ensure future prosperity for herself as well. The little Magi of Reim is a stubborn one. But right now, she wants to enjoy this moment with Sinbad.

A birthday... maybe celebrating it every single year isn't so dull and bad.

"I'm the prettiest companion you'll ever have, Sinbad," she raises to her feet and flicks him on his nose with a smirk. "In ten years, you'll understand that there won't be a prettier companion than yours truly! I'm just that amazing." She even pinches a fabric of her skin and bows before him as he does in the theater, a true actress. "Thank you, Sinbad. Let's go eat breakfast. I got us more fruits yesterday when I came back. Work..work.work.the life of a king was glorious..well not completely. Sinbad knew exactly who that man was specifically, he was to handle any form of mail that Sinbad had gotten from one of his friends, retainers or generals. This one was from his mentor in etiquette: Rurumu. In the letter speaks of her marriage, husband and children were all doing fine and prompts a get together in the letter, a party for all of them like the old days. Of course this idea brought a smile on his face, a feast right here in Parthevia would be rather ideal. It’s something he has to bring up to his wife.

There was no doubt she’d agree it was a good idea but it was always good to have a conversation when it came to friends, though there is something else he’d want to talk to her about. Though, a serious topic like that must always wait AFTER celebration. Then BAM, she moved like death, silent and true. Hands grasps his cheeks pulling him slightly upwards into a kiss, a gentle, passionate kiss before breaking away. Notes about Ja'far's Al Thamen Verse

Ja'far does not have Rurumu's influence in this verse and therefore does not soften under her guidance. Instead, he remains cold and cruel. The arrogance and attitude he presented with as a child is quickly beaten out of him. He does receive a brief education under Al Thamen. It's not that they value academia but if he's to be sent on solo missions, he should at least know how to read. After he's given the basics, he continues educating himself on his own, not wishing to be so stupid as to fall for the agency's manipulation. He can often be found reading when not otherwise engaged. His intelligence does not go unnoticed and his ability to strategize is one of his most valued traits.

Because he does not have Sinbad's household vessel's influence, his eyes remain green and he lacks any other changes from his assimilation.

He is present for Sindria 1.0 as he remained under Falan's sect in Parthevia. While he was sent away for 'reeducation' in the beginning, he does not leave the country. When Sinbad's group first arrives, he seeks out Vittel and Mahad when they're alone. He tells them that Shaka intends to kill them for their betrayal and if they'd like to hold onto this quaint little life they've built, they had better be prepared to fight for it.

He is both resentful and envious of Vittel and Mahad. They managed to escape Sham Lash, they found a purpose beyond being assassins. They found happiness and acceptance. While Ja'far views them as traitors, a small part of him wishes he could have gone with them and imagines what it might have been like if he had been sent on the mission to Imuchakk. Would he have succeeded in killing Sinbad? Or would he have also found a home...

During the invasion of Sindria, Ja'far was part of the fight. Al Thamen and Judar betray Sinbad in the end and many of their agents flooded the streets to sow discord. But Ja'far had one singular purpose; to find Shaka. He ends up fighting alongside Vittel and Mahad and when they die, he becomes enraged and overcome by his own rukh. Al Thamen had trained him further than Sham Lash had in magoi manipulation and they had investigated and perhaps strengthen the experiments Shaka preformed on his legs. With this strength, he's able to kill Shaka. Sinbad finds him unconscious alongside Vittel and Mahad's bodies and is able to discern that Ja'far fought beside them. (Perhaps V & M had mentioned the child they served under). Sinbad moved Ja'far to a more concealed location and left him there. They might be enemies, but Sinbad's not about to kill an unconscious child. That's his thanks for avenging his friends. Ja'far might not be so lucky if they ever meet again.

Known places in Magi and what they’re based on because I have no life and I’m bored as fuck

Aktia: No official basis is given for this country but Sinbad does state it’s known for it’s pearls so possibly it could be Bahrain, an island country in the Persian Gulf, which is famous for its pearling industry

Artemyra: Ancient Greece. The clothing and jewellery is the biggest giveaway but this is also a kingdom known for its warrior women, like the amazonians, and the word “Artemyra” itself probably comes from “Artemis”

Balbadd: India and the one I’ve talked about the most. Everything in Balbadd from the architecture to the attire to the trade and fishing is based on India’s culture and Balbadd in canon is noted for being a very imported trade area and for being unique in how multicultural it is

Heliohapt: Probably the most obvious of the series outside of Reim, this is Ancient Egypt. There’s absolutely no way you could mistake this for anything else they literally have a big ass pyramid with an eye of horus on it lmao

Imuchakk: While it’s never been officially stated, comparisons have been made between the Imuchakk and Shaman King’s portrayal of the Ainu, from the naming schemes to the clothing and affiliation to the cold

Kina: Ancient Japan. It’s located to the east of Kou, their current king is called Yamato Takeruhiko, who has a tattoo of an oni on his back, uses a katana, wears japanese armour etc

Kou: Imperial China! The royal family of Kou is literally called the Imperial Family, the naming schemes are all Chinese, absolutely everything about this place screams China if I tried to list everything we’d be here forever

Magnostadt: Unknown. Magnostadt’s name is a combination of latin (magnus) and german (stadt) but previously the kingdom was called Musta’sim, which is arabic. The term “goi” is also used for people who are non-magicians which is, ya know, very obviously meant to be the jewish “goy” [and yes in the actual magnostadt arc this is INCREDIBLY problematic given the villain of the arc is designed to have a big nose and warts all over his face etc but we won’t get into that] so it’s. Ehhhh kinda hard to pinpoint this one. It’s a mishmash of things

Parthevia: Ancient Persia! The name of this country comes from the persian “parthava” which means “parthian” as in “Parthian Empire.” This is where Sinbad, Ja’far and Drakon are from

Reim: Rome. This place is literally introduced as having a huge coliseum and being known for its gladiators, and their founder was Remus. Can’t get more obvious than that

Sasan: This is another weird one because while most of the citizens have Greek names [Spartos, Darius etc] the place itself is based on the Sasanian Empire, which was the longest lived persian-imperial dynasty, and the empire itself was named after the House of Sasan. I genuinely had to look this one up because I thought for sure it was straight Greece based on the names but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Sindria: Indian Subcontinent and various others. This place is incredibly multicultural but in short: sindria derives from the sanskrit “sindhu” which is a name for the indus river, physically the country looks like the greek island of Nisyros, the palace of Sindria is loosely based on the Süleymaniye Mosque in Turkey and they have a festival called Mahrajan after King Mahrajan, a character in Sinbad the Sailor from 1001 Nights
