Over a week ago was the typical bounty hunt for him as a Galaxy Ranger, infiltrating and later blowing up an IPC office on some other planet they took over. However, in looking for documents on Oswaldo, the cowboy froze in place as the alarm bells rang out around the office.

Right there, on this document, was discussing when his house was burned down. How his dads and brothers all perished in the flames, except one baby girl was rescued. That baby girl was to be sent to an IPC funded orphanage, when they lost connection over the galaxy Jarilo-VI happened to be. Tucking that very precious document into his jacket, he continued the rest of his work with newfound determination.

His baby girl, the most precious person on this galaxy was...alive? All this time, he thought she too was lost in the flames. He even found the guitar he made just for her, broken and burnt. Yet there was hope, and damn it all he'll grab that hope by whatever thread is left!

That's what Boothill was doing on Jarilo-VI, a cold planet but at least they had pretty good supplies for him as a cyborg. Only question is where one finds a girl on a random frozen planet? He started with the Underground first, mainly he was going to shop for some parts to repair after that ambush. Yet the search for repairs stops in his tracks when he sees a girl too familiar to him.

It had been years, but a father knows when he sees his daughter even when she isn't learning to walk anymore. He felt like he just swallowed a massive bullet down his throat, feeling like he was in a dream seeing her there so interested in robotic parts.

"Fork...It's...It's really you, ain't it?"

At least he's relieved she wasn't going to bite his metal body, worried for her human teeth breaking, and so Boothill can't help but laugh at the affectionate little nip to his cheek.
