Diasomnia Kuko!! Added a bit of color pencil to make him pop!

In a TWST AU, Kuko is a temple dragon born in the far east, comes from a long line of temple dragons. They're meant to be educators and protectors of the people who visit their temple, and will bestow blessings of luck and good fortune. Kuko is a bit of a brat, though he does mean well! Shakku didn't really plan for Kuko to go to a school far away, its not tradition for them, but Kuko did receive a letter, and they both decided it would be a good idea for Kuko to go, albeit for different reasons. Kuko wants to prove himself as a guardian, while Shakku is hoping some time away will help Kuko grow more mature and help him build better relationships with others, especially humans.

He's in Diasomnia not just because of the dragon thing, but because Kuko canonically is a force to be reckoned with, both in terms of brute strength but as well in mental fortitude. His goal of wanting to be a guiding force for others also makes me think of fae guardians in fairy-tales. Lastly the aesthetic of Diasomnia fits him well, and I think he would get along great with the diafam. I could also see him fitting in Pomefiore, but that's my bias speaking. (Vil/Kuko hnnnnngh)

I can see Dice, Ichiro, Jyushi, and Jiro attending while he is there, he gets along with all of them. Dice is in Savanaclaw and Jyushi is in Pomefiore. I'm not sure where Ichiro would be yet, but I'm pretty sure Jiro would be in Savanaclaw. Hitoya in the past would have either been in Heartslyabul or Octavinelle, I think both fit him well. Hitoya's semi-nonsensical "two things" thing makes me think of Heartslabyul, aside from, ya know, him being a lawyer. But his tendency to waive fees for people in dire need of his services also makes me think of Octavinelle's compassion.

This year has been a total year of madness, when you always have ups and downs with content, content creation, etc.

And then... December rolls around. It's more like, November rolls around? Because Hypdream was released, and then this event releases.

Like, I have so many words I want to use, but I also lost my ability to SPEAK because of this event. This girl has been screaming nonstop since the event was live. Because if you guys know Hana, you know I've explicitly told people my HCs regarding Jyushi's VKei-ifying projects, my desires for Jiro to wear makeup, have the cast wear nail polish, etc. my aesthetics had DESIRES for so long. And for years, since I've embarked on this journey as being a Jiroshi Producer, Author, Supporter, and Cult Summoner, I've had one desire.

Have Jiro get a makeover from Jyushi.

I back in 2021/22, strictly desired Jiro to wear an AKG coat as I oh so fondly call them, Jyushi's coat. But as the lack of content rolled through, 2023 gave us Get Busy, and other shenanigans leading to an angsty downfall of doubt and retrospection of Jyushi's place within Bad Ass Temple and a possible relationship with Buster Bros via shenanigans... I kinda lost hope. I had been going about this for years, and I didn't have much to propel me forward.

I haven't been able to watch past episode 3 of Rhyme Anima + because of the negative connotations I received upon excitement for the series, the situations in my life, and the general thoughts about a whole lot of things. Because of that, I don't really know much about whether or not Jiro and Jyushi have had "conversation," but I do know We Go With The Flow is a banger of a song. But back to the points at hand.

I thought that well... I might not get the content simply because they're just too different for the staff to do much of anything with.

Then 2024 rolls around.

ARB gives us 10 seconds of voice content via Soul Swap 3rd liners edition.

ARB gives us an event where Jiro is splashing water at Ramuda, who uses Jyushi as a shield.

A. R. B. The canon-not-canon world where Jiro still loves Ichiro to the point he's calling him Nii-chan, Kuko is overly domestic in the Yamada household, Medical Yakuza Honpo is like one of the best lineups to exist- ahem. ARB gave us that.

And then, half a year later. After 4.5 anni, new monthly cards, and whatnot...

This. ARB Gives us. This. This event. Where we can see both Jyushi in a soccer jersey and Jiro in amazing rock/vkei wear.

After the weeks I've been having, with Hypdream releasing and giving me the possibility of having Jiro and Jyushi together on a team, and the very recent announcement of BB vs BAT as the 3rd DRB lineup, I can't help but feel like... we have been blessed. That as a Jiroshi supporter craving even the simplest conversations, we have been blessed with a complete costume change.

And I don't know if you have noticed, but THESE CARDS have ASCENDED HANA.

This card series is peak. This is perfection. It's all I want in a series. Jiro and Jyushi, wearing matching makeup, cool clothes, nail polish, and matching boot styles (because Jiro has black and Jyushi keeps his red boots) I have lost the mere ability to just... speak. Think. Function like a normal human being. I just haven't because I CAN'T.

I feel like some deity out there is trying to tell me, tell the supporters of this small little ship, to never give up.

And I am writing this as my promise to myself. To the people who propel me to write. To those who walk along me on this journey to writing or sharing a little bit of happiness.

As long as I live within this fandom, I will support the Jiroshi cause with all my might.

Here it is the baddie of Samatoki xd I dont like him very much (why he has to be so mean to Ichiro sometimes ;-;) but I love how he raps, grows over all the lore and protects Nemu uwu also he turned quite the fine man in 3D lol

Talking about the sims, I had quite the travel with the shirt and boots in... in blender xD I know I said i wouldnt touch the damn program (I am a Maya fanboy (?)) but this shirt was the only one that checked all the boxes, just that it had a pocket and the pocket was a different UV island obviously so I had to re uv a little xd I tried adding more buttons but it didnt go well lol I suppose it is bcs i have to paint weight or add the buttons to the rig but i dont know shit about rigging lol The boots was just scaling them up a little cause they were clipping badly with all jeans I tried unu didnt want the jeans to go over bcs... thats not how Sama wears his boots xd does he have tats? Bad Ass Temple HCs Because I love them. :)

1. Hitoya saw how dumb Kuko was, and how anxious Jyushi was and said “Ah yes, I shall look after these two. They won’t make it on their own.” And now they’re a family.

2. I dont care what they say- no way Hitoya is under 40. I’m thinking he’s like 42-ish. (Same goes for Jakurai to be honest)

3. Kuko and Jyushi saved Hitoya from his depression after his breakup from Jakurai. (He wants him back so much. And tbh Jakurai does too but he’s bad at communication and Hitoya is too prideful to say anything.)

4. Jyushi and Kuko often fight like brothers. Especially over the TV. Jyushi wants to watch Anime and Kuko wants to play games and they can never compromise. It usually ends in Jyushi crying because he hates conflict and Hitoya yelling at both of them for acting like children.

5. Kuko is super sweet but hurts Jyushi’s feelings a lot on accident. It typically comes from how blunt he is, and Jyushi feels bad about saying how it hurt his feelings. So Jyushi just gets sad and quiet. Kuko can tell something is wrong but never pushes Jyushi about it. It usually comes down to Hitoya noticing something is off and forcing them to talk to each other.

6. Jyushi often has nightmares about being bullied and whenever he wakes up he calls Kuko for reassurance. Jyushi inadvertently causes Kuko to be more careful with his words, because he doesn’t want to make Jyushi cry.

7. Kuko is a gremlin, and we all know this. That incident at Hifumi’s club isn’t the worst or last situation Jyushi has had to save him from.

8. Jyushi likes to try and do sleepovers at Hitoya’s house, but Hitoya hates the idea so much. He knows Kuko is too much of a gremlin to keep up with his “all white” aesthetic. Jyushi would get too anxious to mess stuff up that he’d never fully relax. Hitoya, in short, doesn’t want to deal with them.

9. Kuko used to date Ichiro, but him and Ichiro broke up. Ichiro then was dating Samatoki for a while but then they had thier whole breakup. So now, Kuko is trying to use his Gremlin riz to get Ichiro back.

10. Jyushi isn’t Ace/Aro, but his anxiety is so bad that the thought of an involved, romantic relationship causes him to freak out so it’s never happened.

11. Jyushi’s favorite anime is Black Butler (He also LOVES TBHK), Kuko’s is Demon Slayer (or I could also see him liking JJK), and Hitoya doesn’t really watch anime anymore but he used to really like Inuyasha.

i've been so full blown obsessed with them for so long that i don't even know how to articulate all of the things i feel but this is a delightful question thank u and i will do my best to stay coherent

in no particular order

1) i mean look at them

like this is of course not the main thing that draws me to them but they are very aesthetically pleasing together lmao and why lie? that's definitely one of the things i love about them. the dark haired one and the white haired one is a combination that simply does not miss

of course it's not just their hair colors either, i love a good height difference ship but for smic i love that there's just a 1cm difference between them. the visual effect of ichiro growing throughout their knowing each other is so so so good to me. like him being quite noticeably shorter than samatoki in their tdd days, when he looked up to samatoki (literally) and idolized him, to being almost samatoki's height in the present when they're both leaders of their own divisions, more like equals than ever before

2) their unique ability to understand each other

ok so i'm actually very big on the family bonds (*komachan voice* KIZUNA) between the divisions, and i absolutely do not think ichiro is the only person who can understand samatoki and samatoki is the only person who can understand ichiro. i see them as both having many significant people in their lives, like yes i'm perpetually unwell about them but i also think they aren't each other's only important person

that said

i think both of them being big brothers thrust into a position where they have to essentially raise their younger siblings is a point of connection that really compels me. i think ichiro doing his best to take care of jiro and saburo is something samatoki can respect about him

and i like what that can mean for their tdd days. ichiro always being the oldest, and finally having someone he can look up to like a big brother. samatoki so used to being a big brother that it just comes so naturally to him to take care of ichiro too

kind of unrelated to this point but i've always found it sooooo funny to think of like what if they bonded over samatoki being like "my parents are dead" and ichiro being like "wow mine too" but then

then samatoki meets rei

and then eventually [redacted] as well lmaoooooo

3) the growing they have to do

i looove a good friends to lovers story, i looove a good enemies to lovers story, but i LOOOOOOVE a good friends to enemies to lovers story like holy shit

this is possibly the thing that compels me most about them, like the fact that they were so tight and then completely broke down? having to work back to good from that? mwah i can't get enough of that

and i think that breaking down is really important to them, it's not just unnecessary drama. in their tdd days, the way ichiro idolized samatoki was so unsustainable in the long run. he had to be a little broken to see that samatoki's only human too, that he isn't all powerful, that he's just a man. i think it's so important for ichiro to see that samatoki is just a man before he can love him like a man, rather than some sort of god figure

samatoki has his growing to do as well, of course, and i looove to see a version of him that really struggles with that. like i am obsessed with this hc of him going from being hellbent on being respected by ichiro to realizing he's like uncomfortably horny about being disrespected by ichiro lmao

4) bbmtc famblyyyyyy

alright this isn't technically smic-specific but i am really really obsessed with this future where bbmtc are one big family, and i can so easily see it happening when smic are together

samatoki is such a big brother that it would come so naturally to him to be a big brother to jiro and saburo too. and i think nemu would be a really good big sister and friend to them too. plus uncles rio and jyuto! jyuto maybe insisting he is nowhere near old enough to be anyone's uncle lol

my old hc before jiro changed what he called ichiro was that jiro would one day call samatoki aniki and i still grrrrrrrr want that to happen but i do like the canonical growth in jiro too so it's all asdlkfja;kldfj I WANT IT BOTH WAYS

anyway. i guess to relate this to smic, i love that they would both care for each other's families like they're their own (and rio and jyuto are family of course)

5) they're so intense about hating each other that i can easily imagine them being just as intense about loving each other

ICHIRO IRABU HEADCANONS
