"Ah a sneaky one. I can't say I know a lot either, I just know the forest witch Natalia Naess and some dreamwalker were connecting bridges. Somewhat of a way to fight back against outworlders."

"At least someone is doing something, but I wouldn't be too sure." Yura crossed her arms with a frown, "we played a bit. You're strong."

"But if the cult summoned you and you attacked, I'm certain the rainmaker would of killed you on the spot. Even I don't let Usha or Kazuko near her."

"No demon." Yura smiled, "A bug. That's all you need to know when we're not at odds, for all purposes I'm happy to have you. But if anyone asks, you're not outworlders, and if someone like me says something about the spirits. You just say you're cursed or something, lie."

"We can't have our change be thought of as being influenced by outworlders like the cult."

So there were spirits everywhere in this world. They had heard about this before while exploring but this seemed to confirm this fact, Yura could likely see these spirits too, so sussing out Klara was easy. Not the the dimensional refugee minded. It saved a lot of time.

"No cult summoned me and I would have killed them if they had. We were brought here by someone else, likely using the Dream Bridge to bring us here. I don't know the specifics. Still thank you for your chance, as for Jacqueline well...she's been watching us this entire time."

Klara brought two fingers to her mouth and let loose a whistle. After a minute or so, someone rushed into view, a tall busty young woman with long white hair and a sword at her hip bounced over!

"Oh wowowowow! So badass! Cool battle!" She bounced around Yura a few times too. "My name's Jacqueline by the way! Oo cool eyes! Are you a demon?!"

"Jacqueline calm down."

Klara facepalemed. Her expression was an annoyed but loving one, she really did care about her little sister after all.

"Ok!" Jacqueline stopped next to Klara, vibrating with excitement.

Here's a question for Yura: If given the choice between becoming the ruler of all the land, gaining the wisdom and skills of the most accomplished warriors, and marrying the world's most beautiful man/woman, which does she choose?

"The 2nd option, only because the first two don't guarantee me anything. If I have the ruler of all the land, but without wisdom. I will be deposed of."

"If I have the most beautiful partner in the world but don't know how to keep her, I'll be alone."

"But if I have that wisdom, the skills, all of which transcend mere combat. Then I might just get both. For, I am the colony after all."

"And I want quite a lot."

"Now now, it'd be bad faith to come to the table with a lingering force coming through. They may hunting, but it is entirely coincidence she's here when we're talking. Though she may linger for awhile, too much rain can be bad." Yura leaned back and away, pushed happily, freeing Vivan from her closeness.

"That being said, it's just a professional courtesy to ensure your new benefactor isn't getting unwanted associations with known wanted individuals isn't it?"

There's a smile across her lips, "then let's make that favor worth it. No one on hand, but with a little time could you have a look-a-like ready, someone fast? Just enough to lead the rain away out of town."

"Oh don't be silly, I won't squander anything. But a girl can't leave her associates hanging dry, just like she doesn't want to ruin such a blooming relationship with a prize like yourself."

Flattery may get her nowhere, but there's something to be said about the confidence this bug has.

"But I am a fool!" She brushes past Vivian, leaning in close again, before backing away with her arms outstretched. She'd take the offered exit, "See you for a dinner date once the rain's gone, I'm going to go tango with the strongest woman in the world!"

She puts it out loud, an easy to understand plan now. Yura's about to go tangle with this rainmaker, and hopes at least. A double who is fast on their feet might pop in when the time is right to lead them away.

Maybe it's just foolish thinking, maybe it's Yura giving a test, while showing off. Can she get what she needs fast? And in the meantime, watch how this little bug plays with death.

"So, you've brought someone to my doorstep," the Broker surmises as she shifts to lean back in her chair. Her gaze casts itself towards her large central, circle window as she examines the sky. Certainly, the rain is picking up. While she has been fortunate enough not to meet this "rain maker" in all her dealings, she feels that would change within a few hours.

A sigh escapes her as she returns her attention to her guest. It seems she has been trapped to her chair...The act is cute in a way, handsome in others. Still, oddly enjoying the presence of a new client does not stop the coming inconvenience.

"Well, it would seem that time is of the essence. I unfortunately do not have someone immediately on hand. However, I've succeeded under worse conditions." Vivian stands from her seat, setting down her partially sipped glass on the table and lightly pushing the bug back a step with her other hand. Her long legs let her loom once more over Yura, her broad jacket once more adding to her imposing silhouette.

"I'll take that favor in the future, assuming you hold your world. If not, well, I have my own methods that are far more binding than a little signature." Vivian walks from the table and gestures towards the window Yura entered from to her office. "But in the mean time, it would be best that you leave no evidence that you were here, especially if your pursuer is tracing your steps." A pause...Then a clear "ahem".

"...And I look forward to us meeting again in a few hours. You've garnered by interests, Yura Yurei. For both of our futures, I hope that you don't squander this achievement by cutting our partnership short with something foolish. Let me know if you encounter any hiccups before your 'rain maker' leaves."
