This Miku rides a skateboard, and she does it very well. She collects cool and somewhat rare skateboards, too, though her collection isn't super extensive. She's also a rather avid movie buff for anything made before the 2000s (something few people who don't know her well would've guessed), so naturally her favorite find for her skateboard collection is a board that was used to film Back to the Future, which she has hung in the center of the display wall, on which metal hooks hold up all her boards. She shares an apartment with some college friends, and impressively doesn't need a full-time job because she somehow manages to consistently earn her portion of the rent taking requests on guitar in the corner of an old-fashioned bar downtown, with enough left over to chip in for groceries, too.

I love her. I love her so much. Such excellently crafted and well-styled work, with all the skills in the world, and also I love The Now Now so very much. I'll usually have 3 or 4 go-to albums to listen to while I'm doing work or other things, and The Now Now was one of them for a good long while, and now the Virtual Pop Star Hatsune Miku is part of the Virtual Band Gorillaz and this is my favorite thing I have seen all day, I love this piece so very much. You did such good work on this Miku.

Saying this as an Irish person since the new Hozier album just came out and there are lyrics in Irish; it’s Irish or Gaeilge (pronounced “gwhale-ga” or “gale-ga” depending on region), not Gaelic or Celtic or any other name people come up with.

It’s just a normal language that people speak in their everyday life. We learn it in school in the republic. People like myself are bilingual in Irish and English. It’s not a “fairy aesthetic cottage core leprechaun” language.

Please respect it. Our language is a touchy subject seen as how England tried to erase it by forcing English on us and severely punishing those who spoke Irish.

At the same time that does NOT mean it is a dead language. Our (in the republic) road and safety signs are in both Irish and English, same with legal documents. Our politicians speak it, and we are trying to preserve the language!
