Why you look so down, girl?
Now you got feelings, right?
Usually you're just so cruel, just so cruel
And though I try try try
To keep my cool every time
It's such a struggle not to lose my head, lose my head
Take me down
A little bit harder now
Love me like you mean it
A little bit harder now
Love me up and down
A little bit harder now

what are your favourite goth bands or albums? :3
god this is always such a hard question. I don't really have any "favorites" I love too many to choose, but off the top of my head here's what bands come to mind (fav albums by each in parentheses):
Sisters of Mercy (Floodland, First Last and Always)
Vosh (Vessel)
Bootblacks (Thin Skies)
Concrete Blonde (Blood Letting)
Anders Manga (Andromeda)
Rosegarden Funeral Party (In the Wake of Fire)
Type O Negative (Bloody Kisses)
and they're more industrial/dance than goth but honorable mention to My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult and their albums Confessions of a Knife and Sexplosion. if you haven't listened to Sexplosion you need to. sound of the fucking summer right there

8/16/24.
Second Layer (London, UK) is really a side project from Adrian Borland and Graham Bailey of The Sound. I know I got the reissue of "Jeopardy" in 2011, but I have zero recollection of the background of said acquisition.
I learned about Second Layer a couple of weeks ago when I was scrolling through the label 1972. I was buying the Felt 2 LP bundle from Stranded and I was perusing the label. I listened to Second Layer and appreciated their electronic post-punk sound. Frankly, Second Layer reminds me of the excellent new Osees album.
Well, Stranded is at it again. You can get the 2 LP bundle of Second Layer for a mere $30 (only available until midnight tonight). "World Of Rubber" is the other LP, but there isn't any music available on Bandcamp. But, it is available on YouTube.
Stranded mentions that Second Layer have a lot in common with Suicide. I would add Joy Division to the comparison.
