Is your muse tall/short/average? He is tall (6'5)

Are they okay with their height? Yeah, but he definitely wishes he was a little shorter sometimes.

What is their hair like? In his mainverse, he's got a pink mohawk mullet/fauxhawk. This style extends to his cyberpunk verse, as well. In his modern verse, he has a fauxhawk that sometimes he will let grow out into a long, shaggy mullet (that has only gone down as far as his shoulders.) His natural hair is a dirty blond.

Do they spend a lot of time on their hair/grooming? While this is somewhat verse-dependent, the answer is generally yes! He has a hairstyle and color that generally require a bit of maintenance. He also paints his nails in his cyberpunk verse -- nothing fancy, and the paint chips easily, but he likes doing it.

What are some of your muse's bad habits?: Drinking and his tendency to cut people off if they get too close. There is also his tendency toward reckless behavior/impulsivity in dangerous situations. Unless there is someone in charge who he trusts, he is very quick to take a situation into his own hands.

Has your muse lost anyone close to them? Yes, loss is part of the nature of his work. That being said, it is difficult for him to form close connections readily. (He has other reasons for getting close to others, as well, but this reason is a bigger one.)

What are some fond memories your muse has? Many fond memories come from learning about cars from his father and, later, working on vehicles himself. He was an only child growing up, and his dad moved a lot for work. On the moves, he enjoyed listening to music and looking out on the open road. He learned to enjoy the alone time he ended up with from a young age (but he tries not to think about the why in all of it).

Is it easy for your muse to kill? Easier than it should be, yes. He's paid to kill people, and while mercenary work is not always his primary source of income, he knows he can always fall back on it. He doesn't generally find any pleasure in killing unless he has a massive grudge against a person.

What's it like when your muse breaks down?: Chaz has a pretty erratic personality. In these instances, he seems more fearful than angry. There are a lot of emotions he's bottled up consistently throughout his life. He blames himself for things that happened years ago, Things that couldn't have been his fault.

Is your muse capable of trusting someone with their life?: Yes, but it takes a lot of time and history for them to truly trust someone with their life. The trust must also be mutual. As mentioned earlier, he tends to keep others at arm's length. There has to be some baseline when he works with groups, but if things start to go wrong, that trust is (sometimes) quickly retracted. When he finds someone he can trust with his life, he keeps them close, and is loyal to them till the end. If they meet on a job or the person works for someone else, he will try to poach them to be part of his crew.

What's your muse like when they're in love? Insecure, nervous, protective to the point of possessive, and unadjusted. He's very big on acts of service because he can do something for the person he's in love with without getting vulnerable. He still needs time to be alone, but he does want to be close to them (and it freaks him out a little bit).

"Gravestones Are Fragile"?? 👀

Oooh! That is Chapter 3 of The Road is Long (and Home is Gone) which is my From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series x The Vampire Diaries crossover! It has a very similar premise to Addendum in that they both have the lead female character, Elena Gilbert, verse hopping into another show's first season but The Road is Long is much less structured and much shorter (because the show is shorter!) which makes it easier to write and therefore more fun to me.

And while Addendum was born out of the way I watched Supernatural with my grandpa (explaining how an episode would go if Elena was there because he wanted to know why I shipped Elena with Dean Winchester) The Road is Long was born purely out of my desire to save a side character who dies in like the second/third episode, Monica, the bank teller! Elena is there when the Gecko brothers rob the bank and volunteers to be their hostage so no one else gets hurt because she fucking would lmao.

All of the chapters of this story are from poems I love, "Gravestones Are Fragile" comes from a poem by Russian poet, Anna Akhmatova, the title of which escapes right now...it might be one of her untitled poems. Edit: OH it's "Poem Without a Hero".

going to bed I think about Jeremiah. I don't know why right before sleeping is when my brain wishes to think of him most.

Then I got to thinking about the baby. I get to see the baby on the ultrasound November 7! I am excited to know which gender... If its a girl, I am naming her Hope. If its a boy I was thinking Job. I want my second baby to have as much of a chance to have a happy thriving life, even without a dad. As a former fan of conservative talkshows I have heard the statistics about the ones without fathers. TBH raising kids without their dad was my biggest fear/was why I waited so long to get married. I married the most righteous-God-loving guy I had ever met, and still this has happened. The whole ditching his kids thing. I still cant wrap my head around his wanting to kill himself, knowing that he was a father.

I read today in the Bible in Proverbs 17:6, "Children's children are the crown of old men; and the glory of children are their fathers."

How did he talk himself into killing himself knowing he would curse his children like that? I will never understand that, and neither will our kids.

Anyway. Today I got my haircut for the first time since before I got married. I am not wearing my ring anymore, since it seems to be a lie. The fact is, Jeremiah broke up with me, by ending his life. So I needn't keep my hair the way he likes, or wear the ring that correlates with the one that's buried in the cemetery.

Isaiah had his second haircut today too. He sat all by himself and remained calm the entire time. It was remarkable. He is so handsome and so smart and so sweet. I just cant understand how Jeremiah said goodbye to him forever, knowing how much Isaiah needed him.

The best I have is to let the kids know that their dad got mentally sick. Since that was the case. Or idk what all to say and when. I'm still wondering and I have several years to figure it out before they realize how different they are from other kids.

So the names are Hope, and Job. Being called Care all my life really helped me learn to live to embody how to care. And has taught me the importance of my life verse, 1 Peter 5:7, "Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you."

So Hope is what she will need.

Job is the book in the Bible that explains the unexplainable happening to us here on Earth, and Job shows us exactly the appropriate posture before our mighty God, regardless of our own lack of understanding for God's decision-making.

I should HOPE that JOB would find comfort in that book especially, understanding his place in this world (and the next) is bowing down at God's feet.

So color me finally excited for this pregnancy! Once we know if its pink or blue, things will be easier to shift in my storage unit, looking at onesies might get more fun, all that stuff will be clearer, thankfully. And we will have a better estimated due date. So yes I am getting more excited for this pregnancy.

Just Breathe🧘🏼‍♀️

Stop, listen, and breathe. It has been proven that music increases blood flow to brain regions that generate and control emotions. Jeniffer L.W. Fink wrote a very informative article on the topic. You might be asking okay and? 

As a person who gets anxious easily, it’s very calming to have a playlist that calms me and just brings me to a better place. “Just Breathe” Is a playlist that has songs from different artists and they don't exactly relate to each other but will still give you that calming feeling one might need when a million things are going on in your head. My playlist Just Breathe has ten songs which gives you thirty-nine minutes of listening time.

“Just Breathe” has songs from artists such as James Arthur, Famy, Zayn, Tom Rosenthal, One Republic, Frank Ocean, Sam Smith, and Ruth B. I completely winged this playlist. I just added songs whenever I heard one that felt right. 

It starts with “Car’s Outside” by James Arthur. This song has a lot of strong emotion in it along with most of the others in the playlist. “Just Breathe” is used to bring me peace and this song gives me peace. I don't know why, but something about his voice just calms me. Also when he says “The cars outside but I don't want to go tonight” is a very relatable quote. If you're feeling stressed or anxious you probably have a lot on your plate and you just simply don’t want to do anything. Just like how James doesn’t want to get in the car.

Next in “Just Breathe” we have “Can I be Him” also by James Arthur. Again James Arthur's voice is honestly something else he brings me peace in a lot of his songs. This can be seen as a “sad” song because he is singing about a girl. He seems to be obsessed with her. He talks about how everything she has done was for him. He expresses that he wants to be the one for her. What I like about this song is the guitar in the background mixed with his voice. Just listening to this song is so peaceful to me and it might be for you as well.

Okay, enough James now moving on to “Ava” by Famy, the guitar and drums in this song make an amazing beat and it is just relaxing even though he is talking about being in pain for being far from his love. He mentions how he has a devil inside and the world is rabid. It is considered sad but the way he puts the songs together makes it not seem as sad but once again calming.

“Dusk Till Dawn” Is a song by former boy band star Zayn and features Sia. “It starts sweet. Like, sweet. And by sweet I mean that Malik has a voice like honey. He could sing me the Yellow Pages and I’d make it my ringtone. His first verse is a perfect precursor for the rest of the song to follow. Then in the pre-chorus, Sia joins him, and though an unlikely pairing, their voices match each other in their sultry-ness I guess? Like they both string their words along beautifully” I wouldn’t be able to put it better Priya. Sia and Zayn beautifully put this song together

“Lights Are On” By Tom Rosenthal is very well put together. It's slow and the beat stays about the same throughout the whole song it slows down a little and he quickly picks back up. His voice is just too peaceful and he carries the same tone the whole song. 

Bit of a switch from “Lights are on” we go into “Counting Stars” by OneRepublic. This is a big feel-good song and lightens the mood. There isn’t much to say other than this is a very good song. 

Okay feeling a bit “Lost”? I know this playlist is a bit of a mess but the next song “Lost” by Frank Ocean is another feel-good song. It fits “Just Breathe” because it is easy to feel lost at times so hearing about being lost but with a happy spin to it helps so much and gives a sense of normality to the feeling.  

I feel very similar to James Arthur and Sam Smith. I love the way they sing and the feeling in their songs. So “Fire on Fire” By Sam Smith is a great song. He talks about how you set fire on fire and how it can kill someone but they push past with so much desire and they are beautiful. It just sounds very good. Another Sam Smith song in my playlist “Just Breath” is “Like I Can” Which kind of contradicts “Fire on Fire”. “Like I can” he is talking about how nobody will love this person the way he can and he feels deeply for this person and you can hear his passion.

Lastly, “Golden” by Ruth B. I appreciate Ruth B’s music and I’ve listened to her since I was younger. She is talking about how she has been looked down upon and or looked passed. Discriminated for being different. Ruth says that the heat doesn’t burn as much and that she grew into loving her differences. I love how she talks about what she isn’t. She’s not weak, she’s not broken, she’s not silver, nor is she cold, she is golden. I love how she talks about how people bring her down and how she comes up from it. The song is soft and her song is so peaceful. Looking into my own life I’ve experienced a lot of battles that I had to overcome so I feel a deep connection with this song. Since she made this peaceful connection it is a nice reminder of my accomplishments.

 A lot of the correlation between these songs is that they are all talking about something deep but display it in such a beautiful up lifting way. While continuing to sing about something serious and or deep they manage to make it sound happy and upbeat which is why I find all of these songs to be beneficial. When I am anxious or stressed it is a good outlet to let out emotion and thoughts but still maintain a positive attitude

*The songs seems to be sang from Marth's pov and the ending seems to be an answer song to this one. The narrator is speaking to Alear/the player. The first verse refers to the Royals/their kingdom : the flower refering to Alfred/Firene, the black steel to Diamant/Brodia, the hot sand to Timerra/Solm, the snow to Ivy/Elusia. The 12 light refers to the Emblem, the part refering to the dawn/dusk and red memory are foreshadowing Alear's real identity. Both the first and final chorus are refering to the moment where Alear will become the Emblem of Connection (never gonna call them the Fire emblem). The second part of the song is dedicated to the story of the Fell Xenologue, still speaking to Alear, while refering to Nel's love for Altlear, her feelings for Alear and their Divine heritage. It also seems to be refering to the gradual evolution of Nel's feelings towards Alear : someone with the appearance of her love (the renewed love and borrowed shadown) her own suffering (the ancient scars) and how she came to view Alear as their own person (going from the praised blueness refering to Altlear and the umistakable ruby refering to Alear). The wings are refering to the 4 Winds whose JPN name is "4 Wings" . In the last part, Ryo read the word moushou as "Emblem" in the japanese version. Just like for the English version, the japanese version uses the "incantation" chant in the verse ie Celica "protective", Micaiah "heal", Lyn "blow across/sweep across"
