She cared what other people thought, of course she did, but she wasn't going to waste time on worrying about lettuce in her teeth, an inside out sweater, or a poorly placed pun. So when she looked up again her smile was a little crooked, "Thank you for be-leafing in me though."

She stepped back from the counter with Lorelei, nodding at her suggestion. "What's your favorite this time of year? Mums?" She wanted to get Sam something beautiful, but she not run-of-the-mill. "Do you have any rejects this season? Flowers in need of a good home?"

Hearing Beth's kind words about her speech brought a smile to Lorelei's face, while she was embarrased by it, being told about Beth's similar experience was reassuring. "I love puns, I'm not the best at coming up with any type of jokes so I think you should own that." She found that being able to use Beth's own words in support of her was a smart way to reassure her, in a 'take your own advice' kind of way. Lorelei does not know of the consequences that supporting Beth's pun making could have on her co-workers.

"Baby's breath is a beautiful flower, one of my favourites." Infact, there was a small display of baby's breath right next to the counter. Lorelei grabbed a bit of flower wrapping paper and picked some baby's breath to put in the beginning of this bouquet. "It's perfect because most flowers can go along with it, why don't we have a walk around the store and you can pick out whatever catches your eye." Lorelei said, already prepping to take the lap of the store she has had memorised for years.

What's the ideal tattoo aftercare? I was actually planning on getting a tattoo a few months ago and then that never actually really worked out so I put the idea on the backburner. But if I WERE to choose to get one I'm a bit obsessive about making sure things are safe. And not having an infected tattoo seems like the first step.

I assume anti-fungal spray does not come into the equation at all?

I’d like to say that nothing surprises me anymore, but I just had to explain to a customer why you should never apply anti-fungal spray on an infected tattoo. Just take care of your damn tattoos after you get them, people. It’s not that hard.
