If you’re new to my blog, my deepest apologies.

A while back, I mentioned that eventually I would stop posting fics on this blog (due to the fact that I am satisfied with what I’ve made & now wanna focus on other things.) Now that I’ve written all the old requests I was sent and am posting the Robert Fischer fic on a schedule, I’m prepping myself for tipping my hat and leaving out the side door.

When? Jan 2023. So, I’ll be here for the rest of December. Everything on my to-do list is scheduled to come out this month, so I’ll still be posting before I leave.

Soon, I will host a little event on my blog where you can request some blurbs & other fun things, sort of as a last hurrah. I hope you will enjoy it and I want to thank you all for supporting me throughout my time here. It really means a lot, even if you weren’t here from the start. I have lots of lovely memories and all the stories I’ve written will always stay near to my heart.

If you want to keep in contact, you can follow me on my main blog @karasong which is just memes & random postings. This blog will become an archive so all my stories will still be available for you to read (remember, there’s always my ao3!)

Again, thank you all so much for making this blog a comfort space for me. It definitely helped me through some irl things that were happening.

It’s kinda hilarious how well Much Ado About Nothing fits with the prequel Star Wars.

Like, we’ve got three comrades — Don Pedro, Benedick, & Claudio (Qui-Gon Jinn, Obi-Wan Kenobi, & Anakin Skywalker.) Don Pedro sees potential in Claudio (Qui-Gon believing Anakin to be the Chosen One) who in turn fights side-by-side with Benedick (Skywalker & Kenobi.)

Claudio falls in love with Hero (Padmé) and Don Pedro approves (Qui-Gon Jinn’s association as a gray Jedi.)

Don John (Palpatine) wants to thwart the plan of marriage between Claudio and Hero, and when Claudio believes he’s been betrayed, he gives into anger and delusion (the Dark Side.)

When Claudio acts in his anger, rejecting Hero’s love, she’s known as having died by a broken heart (Padmé in Ep 3.)

Then Benedick challenges Claudio to a duel (the battle of Mustafar) in which both survive.

It’s a little too similar.
