My coworker and I are having such vastly different BG3 experiences. I'll mention something lore related like Rolan and Lorroakan or Gale's tressym or even just Dammon's entire character and he seems so confused. He just isn't interacting with the plot. On the reverse, I... Am not good at combat. Every fight is a struggle for survival and I often need 5 or 6 attempts to get through anything big. College of lore vs college of swords. He might be able to do huge amounts of damage per turn but I know that Haarlep keeps an intimacy guidebook on the edge of the bathtub.

Do bug dads know anyone else in the cast? :D If so, Who do they get along with best? Is there anyone where they disagree on their opinion?

As for them knowing others in the cast, of course they do! Zezzu is a carpenter so he is familiar with many of the other towns and Zunde is a bit of a chatter box so he's also familiar with many people around town as well. As for closer relations, both of them have a close friend that they invited to Ever Autumn. Zezzu's closest friend is Sage, they worked under the same guild for a while, but after Zezzu almost died and got saved by Sage, the two forged a close bond. Of course that caused Zezzu to quit being in a guild and moved to Ever Autumn with Zunde to take it slower and plan their future together. He later invited Sage to move there as well as he was starting to get sick of the guild's practices. For Zunde, he grew up with Donovan. They are both from high ranking factions, Court of the Eclipse and Order of the Celestial Beacon have a small alliance within Arcane Roost so that's how the two met. For safety, Donovan had little outside contact when younger so Zunde was basically one of the only friends he had. Zunde didn't really see their friendship as important as Donovan did, but they did re-connect after they both hit adulthood and Donovan had an extreme life revelation after being turned. Zunde helped out Donovan get his life together for a while after he decided to stop associating with the Court, but soon after he moved to Ever Autumn with Zunde after his accident. Zezzu still checked in on Donovan anytime he would return to Arcane Roost to see family. He didn't directly invite Donovan to Ever Autumn but he was the reason that Donovan sought refuge there.

As for disagreeing that's more tough. Of course there's Mabli but he's not the most liked around town, tho I guess it's a bit different with Zunde. Both him and Mabli were from Arcane Roost, she likes him but only because he's one of the heirs of the Beacon and therefor sees him as someone who is worth her time. He dislikes her tho because of her quickness to judge, and because she is prejudice against Donovan because he's a vampire and use to be a Prince in the Court. Aside from that I'm still working on character qualms, there are a few but most go back to the two "problem" characters of Mabli and Lun.
