Crackling of the fire warms the clearing on Ramanas Island while the rivers surge around it, wild Pokemon of the night now beginning their stir. The Fieldlands may not be as volatile as other areas in Hisui, although it wasn’t without its threats still. It’d taken a nasty skirmish with an Infernape who once called the island home, before the beast was ultimately run-off.

Within the center of the clearing at the heart of the island, Jasmine stokes the fire: about all she’s truly prepared to do. A vast set of ingredients lay before her over a tarp, a couple of their Hisuian partners mingling about curiously to see exactly what she will do first.

“So... I-I believe the water is boiling,” she observes with hesitancy, eyes flickering towards James for some sort of validation. Beyond the clearing, Kuma can be heard bellowing a cry towards the moon as it peaks from beyond the eastern horizon. Jesse seems to have entered an impromptu spar with Chi, friendly blows being exchanged just beyond earshot.

Pingo and Mac seem to be the most intrigued by the woman’s cooking tutorial, both with their flippers and arms crossed, respectively, in attendance. Truthfully, Jasmine recognizes a majority of the herbs and other cooking necessities before her. Unfortunately, her specialty with herbs, particularly of the medicinal variety, doesn’t inform her much on how to craft something edible.

She looks to James with a nervous grin, shoulders slumping forward as she peeks over everything once more. “So much of this stuff, I’ve used in my remedies, but–” That ‘but’ lingers, her fingers nervously fiddling with themselves as she awaits further guidance.
