MEDICS didn't always last long around the base , they were either killed on duty or left due to burn out or some other pathetic excuse.

The lot of them weren't made for military life. Nor were a lot of rookies they were either to weak or they couldn't make it past the course

But then ...there was Jonathan , Ghost didn't know how long the medic had been around and normally he could careless but there was always something....different about this one

Maybe it was his personality, or maybe the sheer dumb luck that Ghost often saw him whenever he got knicked on missions or get checked after being punched in the gut by a rookie...Even though Simon wasn't a soft person and could manage a couple million hits orders were orders and today wasn't any different

" Alright I don't want to hear it. I know it's the 50th punch this week but these lot are bloody useless. They can't even leave a god forsaken bruise! How the hell are they going to murder enemies or even defend themselves "

He scoffed slightly , he always was much harder on training. If someone couldn't leave a physical mark then he deemed them unworthy of his time

Karik wasn’t the type to get surprised easily. He was a warrior who tended to fight for the safety of his people. His service to Bowser was the main reason for that.

The Koopatrol was swinging his sword around alone in his training. There was no expression, not that one could see much due to Karik’s helmet. He relied on that helmet more than he knew. He used it to hide his emotions from everyone. Nothing could hurt him so long as he allowed the world to simply wash over him.

That tended to be how he dealt with Bowser. Along with anyone who was above him. Karik showed so little of his real self, because his real self was barely anything. A blank slate would have more to it than Karik Shelldor did.

“Who goes there? This place isn’t a place for commoners. You should leave while you can. Otherwise you may fall victim to the beasts around here."

Karik was a fair ways away from the castle he normally led the Koopatrol in protecting the castle while Bowser was away. He wasn't expecting anyone else to be out here where no one else walked.

This place was a damn maze, and it’s not like she’s here by her own will anyways. She’s just sadly the only one here with a weapon. But with traveling this place, needing the crystal for her own workplace. A way to get back at urbanshade as her boss put it. To get those criminals once and for good! And Haruko is the only one who sadly does the dirty work around here. Though of course actually documenting things here and there. Not to mention the experiments. The amount of things she’s knocked out so far is insane.

But swimming under through a certain tunnel she soon comes up in a shop. Pushing back her pink hair as bright yellow eyes look up at the huge being before her. She can’t help but whistle at his height.

“Well look at you! You look slimy” she teases laughing softly while lifting herself out of the water.

“Let me guess, you’re one of their experiments right?”

Karik drew out his sword as he said this. Not as a threatening gesture but more as a means of protection. They were rather far from any form of town at present meaning it was simply the two of them.

"Can you recall why you were out here? Not many willing come to this place unless they had no choice but to do so."

Karik began marching in a direction he knew was safe, but it would take sometime to get there so talking might pass the time.

“Hey hey, watch it there.” Mushu huffed a little bit, for him just swatted other hand for grabbing his tail. “That ain’t polite to just pick up someone by the tail.”

Now that was out of the way, he finally got his full attention though with whole darkland kingdom. Just scanning around, okay maybe should least get some help get out of this place. “Second thought—“ hoping on the other. “Maybe will take your word for it.”

Nervously smiled, slowly did sink a bit.
