Aegon wasn't a rapist in Fire and Blood. Stupid producer/writer Sarah Hess only made Aegon so vile on the show because her woke feminist ideal of having Rhaenerya girl boss be a "saint" and be so pristine so that viewers had to like Rhaenerya instead of having actual fleshed out characters on both sides for the show.
Aegon's predatory behavior toward serving girls is straight from the book. As for the intent in the show's portrayal, Sara Hess and Clare Kilner have both spoken about believing Aegon to still be deserving of sympathy despite being a rapist; Sara Hess even more disturbingly talks about "upstanding men" who've committed sexual assault without having knowing it and tries to paint Aegon as not knowing what he was doing. So I'm not sure where you came up with this idea that Aegon was only portrayed as a rapist to push an agenda, but it's certainly not anything from the writers themselves. It seems like you're just upset that the Greens, despite their whitewashing, are being portrayed as the antagonists that they are. The Greens usurped Rhaenrya for being a woman. The writers can add more depth to their characters and give them other motivations, but there's only so much that can do when that's the main point of the entire show. It's not very surprising that the majority of the audience is aware of that and sides with Rhaenrya because of it.

I don’t understand why the fact that the greens are the supposed to be the bad guys of the show, is so hard for people to understand. Just because you like the antagonist more than the protagonist doesn’t change facts. It is like supporting the stepmother and the evil stepsisters over Cinderella. You like them better than Cinderella and want them to win, get the glass slipper and take the throne, that’s fine. But it doesn’t change the fact that this is Cinderella’s story and she is the protagonist. You can’t be upset that the stepmother and the stepsisters are portrayed as evil.
I admit that HotD is not that divided as good/bad like in a fairytale, since both parties have done certain questionable acts (the greens way more than the Blacks), which is why we have anti-heroes (the Blacks) and anti-villains (the Greens). But at the end of the day, this is Rhaenyra’s story. She is the protagonist, the princess who was supposed to be Queen but was usurped by her social climbing stepmother, and her family. That’s the main plot. The greens are portrayed as more of the antagonists because that is how the story is.
So you can’t cry about the writers not doing everything 50/50, just so you can feel better about supporting the anti-villains. They’re not supposed to. You can root for who you want, but the Blacks are supposed to be the ones in the right (and that’s according to GRRM too), and they are supposed to have the most supporters (which they do).
And stop using the book as an excuse. The book is not canon. It is a very subjective telling. GRRM himself said so. HotD presents what parts of the book were true and which weren’t. With Aegon, it wasn’t explicitly stated that he was a r*pist but it was heavily implied. The writers of the show decided to make that canon. Rhaenyra’s first three boys were only implied to be bastards in the book, but never confirmed or proven. HotD confirmed them as not being Laenor’s.
Seriously, these people need to get with the program. Either enjoy the show or read the damn book and keep that as canon for yourself (But the greens are presented as the antagonists way more in it).
