It's so satisfying that after seasons of Kendall being terrified of his father, walking on emotional eggshells around him, being crushed under his boot, being kept on a choke collar,,,, to finally see him in a room surrounded by his siblings, who for once all support him and love him unconditionally (which he now confidently knows after the S3 finale), bearing down on his father, sassing his father, being sarcastic, calling his father out for everything, especially what he knows Roman and Connor are too scared to say. For not backing down, not refusing to be coaxed, not accepting one little apology.
And what made it so much better? Was him and Shiv teaming up to lay down smackdown after smackdown. They wanted blood. And good for them.
“you better not be up being a hopeless romantic” no??? I’m up being a fucking fool for people who barely know I exist because love is all that matters. see the difference?
Now it must be absolutely clear why 'How can you be so broken inside?' is some of the most romantic dialogue to me. 'All with that damn smile on your face.' Yesssssssssssssssssss tell me more about how monstrous Cinder is yessss give me flashbacks to Cinder smiling brokenly when she's finally freed from her first master and the Huntsman who betrayed her YESSSSSSSSSS tell me more how you think about her repulsive smile and the curl of her mouth YESSSSS SHE'S A MONSTER!!! Yes it agonises her and tortures her and yes half her face is covered >:) ohohohoho
please i love you i'm begging you bring back suspension of disbelief bring back trusting the audience like. i cannot handle any more dialogue that sounds like a legal document. "hello, i am here to talk to you about the incident from a few minutes ago, because i feel you might be unwell, and i am invested in your personal wellbeing." "thank you, i am unwell because the incident was hurtful to me due to my childhood, which was bad." I CANT!!!!
do you know how many people are mad that authors use "growled" as a word for "said"? it's just poetics! they do not literally mean "growled," it's just a common replacement for "said with force but in a low tone." it's normal! do you hear me!! help me i love you please let me out of here!!!
I just think everyone should take a moment to consider the question "what is your visual shorthand for cruelty?" and then follow it up with a critical "and who taught you that?"
specific examples include but are not limited to
why is an evil timeline character design disabled? (why do the heroes go through equally punishing battles and never lose an arm, a leg, an eye?)
why are the futuristic scifi terrorists uniformly darker skinned? (why are the heroes so much lighter?)
why is the greedy boss fat? (why are the heroes skinny?)
why is the criminal mastermind heavily scarred? (why is the brooding, traumatized hero unscathed?)
why is the predatory creep a bearded person in a dress and makeup? (why are none of the heroes trans women?)
"people show their true colours in life threatening situations" no, they show you what they act like when they're mortally terrified, an emotion notorious for literally turning your entire brain off to the point where people who go into those situations as a profession need to be literally trained on how to not have that happen
see 0 note flop posts aren't that bad when they're personal but 0 note fandom posts feel literally so bad. like if you don't wanna play toys with me anymore just say that. i'll pack up my super cool awesome things and go and i'll sit on the other side of the playground by myself and i won't even look at you. fuck
the angel staying over at my house asked for a nightlight in their room and i told them buddy, don't you produce your own light? what're you gonna do with more? and they said they wanted to see why people like it so much. and also that the nightlight i own is blue and they've been trying to understand color. anyways i think they've stared at it for an hour now
if you opened discord’s april fools day loot boxes how long did it take you to get all the items? it took my friend 18 boxes but me 65 and i want to see how bad my luck is
