I don't even know what to say. Tori told me last week that she was dying. I was foolish enough to assume she was joking.

I'm so so saddened by this but I'm also... really angry. Because of what Tori chose to do with her platform on this site, she dealt with hateful messages every week, including doxxing and death threats to her and her family. And now, she's gone. I don't want to speak out of hatred because I know it isn't what Tori would want, but I hope that to everyone who left one of those messages, this teaches you a valuable lesson that behind every profile on this site is a living, breathing, hurting person with people who love them very much. And though many of us never had the privilege to meet Tori in person, we loved her too.

Tori had been dealing with debilitating illness all year, and I doubt many of us truly knew the extent to which she was suffering. But what we did know is that Tori faced her pain with humor, strength, and kindness. She has always spoken out for what she believes in in this fandom, and set a valuable example for others in this fandom to do the same. She was funny, intelligent, and had so much love for her husband and her baby girl. She stuck up for me when I was receiving merely a fraction of the hate messages she got every day. I'm so sad that I'll never get to DM her or see one of her trademark pithy remarks on my dash again, but that' absolutely incomparable to what I know her family must be feeling.

We'll miss you so much, Tori, and I treasure the months that I got to be your mutual and friend.

Wanted a grilled cheese but didn't want to go through the work of making one, so she figured out how to make grilled cheese with the microwave, toast, and string cheese (judge me all you want, but I swear it was so good)

Thought he saw a bug crawling on his desk and fully freaked out and nearly fell out of his chair. It was, in fact, a piece of lead rolling round.

Was late coming down to dinner because Nellie fell asleep with one single paw on his leg and he refused to move until she woke up and moved herself (it was my cat, and it was great)

Elle:

Broke her foot falling out of her bed. It wasn't high off the ground or anything, she just had a nightmare and catapulted off. She was in a boot for months and hated it.

Had the song "I'm just Ken" stuck in his head after seeing Barbie, but could only remember "I'm just Ken, anywhere else I'd be a ten" and so he would randomly burst out singing that and then act like nothing happened.

Her "gay awakening" was the scene in Pirates of the Caribbean when the mermaid's glass tank is broken and she turns into a human. She thought her reaction to the scene was normal. It was not. Denial was a river in Egypt for her in this moment.

Before coming out, she would buy anything with a rainbow and when asked why she would say "Oh I just really like the Greek goddess Iris, goddess of rainbows and...stuff?"

omg i love so many things its not even funny. a few important ones are waluigi (special interest), sonic the hedgehog (special interest AND hyperfixation (omg please kill me)), art (like, as a general thing, but particularly visual) and you WILL find me randomly posting oh-so-passionately about something ive never even mentioned before.

i do animation and illustration but that's over on my art blog. also all my animations are WIPs. you probably won't find anything other than a few weird lip syncs from when i was like 11 (i got into animation because of gacha life and animation memes). most of my art is sonic atm lol.

MILES 'TAILS' PROWER!!!! he's been my favourite sonic character since i was little!!!! except for that brief period where it was amy because i found out tails was a boy and i, as a 7-year-old girl who had just learned about misoginy, decided amy was better because she was a girl. and that briefer period where it was cream because she had confetti in sonic dash.

my favourite iterations of him are scu tails, classic tails and sonic boom tails!!! i h/c him as autistic, having anxiety, low self-esteem but also being really cheerful and nonchalant about a lot of stuff. i enjoy trans tails of all kinds, but i believe in cis gnc tails.

NON-BINARY ICON!!!! TOP SURGERY GUY!!!! WALUIGI!!!! call me thomas jefferson cause i have an entire binder on this guy. waluigi is THE blorbo from my spin-off-party-shows. i got into him because 'hahahaha! it is the funny garlic man's funny rose partner!' and that became 'they could marry me and i'd say yes on the basis that we'd get to see each other everyday, even if i only love him as a friend.
