Oof- i'm kinda like, not into rottmnt anymore, so i havent updated this story in forever

The premise is that in Tv au the kraang existed before the turtles were even born, and the Very reason why they were born was to Help in the war agaisnt the kraang. However in a tough battle Leo Lost most of his brothers and Donnie in his final moments not wanting Leo to Go the same way gave him a interdimensional portal device to get out of that au as fast as possible, Leo not wanting to Go made Donnie send him thru by force and with that Tv's timeline was completed destroyed/erased by the Kraang. So now Tvleo wanders around in aus with no home to belong to, often hopping in different aus to get Donnie's to fix his portal device, since his original brother was the one that created It

More stuff happens after that but i think i wrote It somewhere around the (#tv au) tag in my blog, theres also like some concept bgs for the inbetween aus where he lives, i had so much Fun with those TYSM for the ask!! has quite sometime that i don't get to talk abt this au!

When I was in middle school, one of my friends phones autocorrected my name to 'Cherry' so it became to nickname -> still the screen name I use today. For a long time my url was cherrybombz01 (cause like cherry bombs lol) but I somewhat recently changed it to cheriboms bc i thought that looked more fun and cute uwu

3) What is your middle name?

Not really comfy putting my actual middle name, but I will say it's the same as my mom's :) I think it's pretty in general, and imo fits me maybe better than my actual name (vibe-wise), but I still dunno if it's very "me" overall :P

4) If you could be any mythical creature, what would you be?

I've seen a couple people say "hobbit" and like UGH YEAH ;A; what i wouldnt give to live that life !!!!!! T_T But if I couldn't be that then I think I'd maybe be a ghost or a lilliputian/borrower type of person. Something that's otherwise just living in the background of things is my vibe hahaha

5) Favorite color?

Sky blue for sure!! Esp when paired w a darker blue <3 That's why I chose that color scheme for my tumblr account :)

2) Why did you choose your URL?

My URL is derived from MythicalBookWorm. I wanted this to be it originally but it was already taken :( I created it back in 2020 when I joined a little kids coding website called Scratch. Now how I came up with it? No fun story there. Just stared at the sign-up pages for a while, trying to come up with characteristics about me before this popped into my head. Ever since then this has been my user online. After all, Scratch got me into art and animation, and online in general. I still really like the URL and it is officially me online.

3) What is your middle name?

I don't feel comfortable saying it as it is apart of my real name. However: In the context of my full name, I like my middle name. It flows extremely nicely and is the reason my parents gave me it, along with the name being in the family once before. By itself though? Never liked it. In or out of context I have always hated the name. Put it on anyone, anything, don't like it.

4) If you could be any mythical creature, what would you be?

Isn't funny how I have contemplated this a lot? Now if we were going by personality, I would definitely be a phoenix. However, this is choice. So 100% dragon! Think about it: flight, fire, and fingers! It's the best combination of fun, powerful, and convenient/realistic. Plus wouldn't it be cool to roll your throat and make those super intimidating throat growls?

5) Favorite color?

Magenta! 2nd is Lavender, 3rd is Teal/Cyan.

6) Song you love right now?

Well, recently watched and fell in love with the Back to the Future Musical, so Hello, is Anybody Home? and Teach Him a Lesson (That he'll always forget! <Never forget>) Also found Crane Wives recently so I've been enjoying their songs as well. :)

1) do you believe in superstitions/the supernatural? if so, what beliefs do you have? I’m generally kinda inbetween on most stuff but at the same time I’m also the person that wants to go look for cryptids to befriend so I’m a bit more enthusiastic at the idea of cryptid stuff kinda at least?

6) dream job when you were younger? has it changed? I really wanted to be a writer for a bit when I was younger or an artist since a young ageand since my mom really wanted me to I’ve done more art stuff so it’s not changed.

7) biggest pet peeve? Having to explain really basic things to people for them to just deny it repetitively (like once I had to try to explain to a popular guy in my science class that bugs have instincts and I just. boi this is a 10th grade class,, why,) 

8) thoughts on space? the ocean? what would you rather explore? SPACE is amazing and so interestingly infinite and neat to think about!! It has infinite possibilities and it’s so pretty?? I love it. But the ocean  scares me since while it’s also mysterious we know that everything has been evolving for forever now and they have organisms with so many amazingly possible things that it’s just kinda scary to me? Like we know but we don’t. Like I’d love to research animals from the ocean and it’s really beautiful but just so scary to me to actually see the deep parts of. And I’m highkey afraid of sharks to be honest

9)  what trait do you value the most in people? I don’t know if it’s really a trait but I just like people who are understanding or listen? Like people who actually listen to you even if it’s something dumb and try and understand how to help you

10) how would you describe your aesthetic? I honestly have no idea as I’m a forever going identity crisis with no aesthetic but I guess crystals for sure at least? Hi! I'm a writer who has a Jewish character, and I'd love to hear tips and info that could help me portray the fact that he's Jewish. When I did some light research, the main consensus I came to was that being Jewish is more than just a religion for most people. Since culture is really an experience, I was wondering if there's anything that you'd be willing to share so I can do a better job. The more the better, since I really don't know much except the basics of what NOT to do. Thanks :D

Hi! Thanks for reaching out! Keep in mind this is all from my own experience and there are plenty other jewish people with different ones, I highly recommend swinging around to several blogs and asking this if you want a more rounded character :)

First thing from personal experience: If your character is an Ashkenazi Jew like I am there is a good chance they have Yiddish words and terms sprinkled throughout their everyday speech. That leads to a lot of Goyim(non-jews) going "wait what was that word? What does it mean?"

For instance I used the term Tchotchkes the other day and when someone asked for an explanation I actually had trouble articulating it, i replied "Uh, y'know, tchotchkes....ummm...b-bobbles? Trinkets? Cute little decorations?" Because I've never had to use another word for it.

I often say Oy Vey the way other people say omg or 'big oof' etc. And if I'm emphasizing, I use Oy Gevult instead.

There are a lot of everyday microaggressions that jewish people face! Such as "oh! You dont look jewish!" Which is one hundred percent an insult to us, like what am I SUPPOSE to look like? There's also "you talk about being jewish a lot" and "but like, the holocaust was forever ago, you havent faced anything since then" and "you sound funny when you pronounce words like that"(like using the Chet- a sound that comes more from your throat than your mouth) and many others. I'm vocal about it when people say this to me, but only if I'm in a comfortable and safe setting, otherwise my brain goes through a million ways me correcting them could go wrong or dangerous for me.

As the youngest sibling, and second youngest cousin, I had to learn to be assertive and vocal at family dinners or I would not be heard. There is a lot of cross talking and multiple conversations going on at once. If you dont speak up and keep yourself in the conversation, you'll probably end up just sitting there while waiting for the food to be finished.

If you have tattoos or piercings you cannot be buried in a jewish cemetery so if you want to be buried with family you would not get body decorations.

There is a strong vying for relatable jewish characters by jewish people as most in television and books are crappy stereotypes and antisemitic tropes.

For many pale jews being called "white" is actually quite uncomfortable.

If things are going south politically one of my first thoughts are often "do I have any friends that would hide me" and "where will I have to hide my Jewishness to stay safe" etc. There is a lot of generational trauma that comes with being Jewish and often the thought process goes unnoticed by Goyim.

That instant connection you feel when it's you and one other jewish person in a sea of goyim, esp. Christian goyim, is often like that LOOK 2 women share when a man is talking, if that makes sense.

Due to our history jewish people are often very social-equality minded and are part of movements and protests.

REMINDER this is all from my own experience, I would say check out pages like @progressivejudaism and @jewish-privilege for knowledge and for more day to day experiences/ideas look for @jewish-people-problems and @littlegoythings

1. Why did you choose your url?

Because I love the color green and I go by LadyVerdance as a username on most games and sites. GreenSaplingGrace is kind of a variation on that that I just really liked the sound of, although for the life of me now I can’t remember why I didn’t just make my username LadyVerdance lmao.

I’m mod green on the cr sideblog @mighty-polynein run by @garlandofflame! It’s a really great blog 💕 and they do most of the management. I’m usually just here for the ride. Once I get back into Critical Role again though I’ll probably become more active on it.

So I started up this blog! Then I ended up moving here as my main a few months ago because I don’t use my writing one that much anymore.

A few times? It depends. Usually at least twice when stuff is really chaotic, but on average probably over ten. I spend a lot of time fucking around on here to procrastinate on other things.

Not really. I’m a pretty liberal blocker. But sometimes I’ll get into short arguments with people I disagree with before I do so. Nothing major though lol.

Most of the time the severity of the issue outweighs the guiltripping, so I’ll reblog it, but on principle I think it’s gross. If it’s ever particularly aggressive I’ll usually just go back to find a clean reblog. I know a lot of the people that follow me have anxiety when it comes to that kind of stuff and I don’t want to subject them to anything bad or unexpected.
