This was what Alecto was waiting for. She saw the shadow lurking around a small shack that was Death Eater property. A safe house that had not been used in years, but still was theirs and she was not going to allow the Order to take it from them. The information shared to her was the next night a trap would be laid to entice Death Eaters to their demise. Little did they know, they'd have a visitor the night before.

Dusk had finally settled, placing her mask up over her face and pulling the hood of her robe over her head. Unable to wait any further for the other to show up, Alecto moves within the trees and shadows, feeling the wards magic weakened, cursing inwardly that they allowed this to happen. Something to sort another time. Her wand already in hand, catching sight of a lone wizard.

"It's rather bold to be here, Longbottom." A sternness to her tone, remaining in the shadows, hues fixated on a familiar face, his wife one she did not care for. She hoped the witch wouldn't mind losing her husband tonight.

okay I know nobody needs my opinion but something’s really been bothering me for a long time and I gotta get it off my chest:

when lengthening a word for hyperbolic effect, stop adding more es to the end. the e at the end of the word is unvoiced. it is (usually) there to indicate how to pronounce the vowel.

instead, add more of whatever phoneme you’d stress if you said it out loud; i.e., instead of visually groaning “everyoneeeeee,” emphasize your misanthropy with a more natural look; an “evvvvvvveryone” or, to mix it up, “everyoooooone” otherwise you’re ending your cry into the howling void with a teeny little squeal like a worked-up dollhouse teakettle.

visually, anyway. maybe you are wailing and gnashing teeth like a tiny baby kitten; I get it. but if you’re not, always the sound, never the look (unless the look is the sound, but I’m not complaining about that right now)
