Mini ooc rant incoming: I know Weekes said they made Solas straight to avoid the 'evil bisexual trope' but sorry, that's bs. I was gay in 2014 and know what that was like but it's still a weak ass rationale that I reject. The whole point is that Solas isn't "evil." His plans are Wrong, but he's not evil. I think that was just an excuse bc they wanted to backtrack on how free-spirited DA2 was (or bc Solas was a last minute romance but whatever). Inquisition-era Solas is equal opportunity, at least for elves. Because he's also racist (see above).

Name: Aina, a Finnish name meaning "joy and forever".

Gender: Cis-female.

General Appearance: Almost the spitting image of Sampo, much to Stelle's chagrin. The only significant difference is that her facial structure and general body type takes after Stelle.

Personality: An absolute terror. Don't let her cute face and deceptively elegant wardrobe fool you. On the surface she may seem polite if a bit playful, but underneath all of that, she's a deadly combination of Sampo and Stelle's worst traits.

Special Talents: A gifted actress. While Sampo might enjoy being "shadowy comic relief," and even play into others' suspicions if it benefits him, you would be hard-pressed to pin Aina down as anything other than a well-mannered, well-behaved kid. She's perfected the art of steering scenarios in such a way as to benefit either herself or her family without anyone ever suspecting she might have ulterior motives. And, if her father takes the pointed fingers of suspicion, then that's all the better for her, too.

Who they like better: You would think Sampo would be the obvious favourite by virtue of all but being his little doppelganger, but the truth is she has complicated feelings about him. They are, perhaps, too much alike, making it difficult to have honest and open conversations and genuine bonding.

Who they take after more: Sampo, by a long shot. Though she does have her "Stelle" moments, particularly when it comes to fighting. Intense and scrappy, her fighting style often catches her opponents off guard.

Personal Headcanon: Although she doesn't go digging through trash cans like Stelle, she is a bit of a hoarder like her. The difference is her tastes are a bit more eclectic. Aina enjoys finding rare and unique items; but unlike Sampo, she's less willing to part with them for profit.
