Filraen is vegetarian to me, meat reminds them too much of gore in all cases and they'll do anything to avoid reminding themself of the urges. They aren't a real drow obviously, but I imagine the brief trip in the underdark helps them feel normal and so they probably develop a taste for local fungi. Like tnllimac.

Finnick has way fewer (read: zero) hangups and probably really likes eating bugbear or ogre, something morally-questionable and difficult to kill so the meat is more rewarding. He's basically a food vacuum, though. I imagine he'd wax poetic about the intricacies of goblinoid meat if prompted.

Before being kidnapped, Silin was a monk and apprentice at Karokrath, which is a Githzerai stronghold in Xian a ways east from Baldur's Gate. She was raised in a Monastary in Limbo, but moved to Karokrath alongside the Zerth she was training under in the late 1480s. Her job was essentially to run surveillance on the nearby mind flayer and githyanki cities, as well as to train her psyonic abilities. Ultimately she wanted to become a Zerth herself, who are essentially extremely talented fighters and religious leaders who are said to have inherited Zerthimon's will (the leader of the original Githzerai rebellion). She was an academic prodigy among her peers so she was very coddled and encouraged to focus on her studies and finding enlightenment, but she wanted to contribute more substantially to the Githzerai's mission, so she convinced her mentor to let her go out on a mission to investigate Creche Y'llek. It was meant to just be recon, but they ran into a group of githyanki who had gone out to find the artifact, and because Silin was overeager and encouraged them all to fight instead of run almost the entire group died in the battle. Those that survived were very injured, and they were all kidnapped from the mountain pass.

Redeema would see both and think they're fine. Filraen would see Oppenheimer and probably be thinking about it for weeks, Finnick would see Barbie and cry over the ending. Silin would probably see both but she'd dress up for Barbie and be way more excited for that one. She'd complain about historical inaccuracies in Oppenheimer and be upset that they didn't include his gay crush on Linus Pauling. Purah watches Oppenheimer with Shadowheart and they both bitch about Barbie watchers but she'll watch Barbie when it's available on streaming and cry really hard at the ending too.

[WIP] The wonderful @ghilenan is working on a commission for me and gave me a little sneakpeak and permission to share my BG3 drows. The amount of detail is extraordinary and I find everytime I zoom in new details.

I never had the means to commission Ghilenan when I was far more active in the Dragon Age Fandom but I immediately jumped at the opportunity for Baldur's Gate. I highly recommend commissioning her! 💜 She is a absulute joy to work with.

1. Filraen is willing to lie about his scars and missing arm, the lie is getting more and more absurd as it goes on.

2. Friendly strictly defines anyone who lets him follow them relentlessly whether they like it or not.

3. Not often at all, although sometimes he tries to open up. Not often but sometimes because he's #emo.

4. He used to dance, lost confidence in himself and gave up.

5. Yes he can, it's more so to gain pity. He thinks about anyone mildly insulting him.

6. His favorite thing to recommend is long essays about horses, he has 47 books exclusively about horses and will lend them out if you absolutely pinky swear you won't ruin a single thing.

7. twink. Call him a twink. He'll know.

8. He hardly uses it at all.

9. He prefers to give others tough love, although he prefers to receive gentle love as long as it isn't overbearing.

10. Did you know horses aren't strictly carnivores? They will eat birds, bugs, and eggs!

12. Anything slightly sexual, he's a middle schooler who'll laugh at the word balls.

31. He feels the most guilt based on the fact he lies to everyone he meets on the basis. The guilt is strongest if he actually becomes friends with them and can't keep up his act.

33. Usually with a fake sweet tone and a backhanded compliment, usually making his greeting quite overdramatic.

34. Excitement, which he tries to hide, he tries to say something cool or casual. It fails every time, as he's definitely bouncing with excitement.

Someone asked me if I was obsessed with drow, and I really don't know where they got that idea. 😂 Since I didn't share much about my BG3 oc's here a short introduction: Filraen (left): Half-Drow monk who romances Wyll. Nyred (middle): Half-Drow monk/wizard who romances Gale. Nymas (right): Drow rogue who romances Astarion.

So I did a a thing. This is Filraen, my Drow Bard for a DnD game I’m playing. :)

I started a 3rd bg3 playthrough yesterday. I tried to be creative, but it ended up to be another drow 😅, well half-drow to be precise.

They also ended up as another monk because I really enjoyed to play this class.

The plan is to romance Wyll this time around, we'll see how that goes.

Meet Filraen Dyrr:

They grew up in Baldur's Gate. Their mother was a noble that had a side-fling with a drow. She was forced by her family to either give them away or hide them, she chose the latter.

They were raised as a noble (educational) but lived with the servants, where they had many kids to play with so that they wouldn't feel alone.

Their mother loved them and never married since she feared her child would be send away or worse.
