“Oh, hold still for a second Elise. You’ve still got chocolate on your face.” Smiling, he reached over with a napkin to wipe the remainders of tonight’s dessert off her cheek.

“Eeeehhhh…” Elise shrinks back in her chair, pouting a little as the napkin touches her face, though she of course makes no move to stop him. “Kamuiiiiii, I’m not a baby! I can do it myself!”

She remains pouting even after the napkin leaves her now-clean face, grumbling something about being an adult under her breath with crossed arms. Though even in her grumpy mumbling, there is a ‘thank you’ in there. 

She’s still going to act upset for a little longer, but she could never actually be mad at him for more than a few seconds.
