WELCOME TO CAMP BEACON, KIDS!

Why don’t’cha just breathe in that amazing smell of campfires and people expressing themselves in an artistic manner! Everyone is welcome here, especially if you are into the many styles of the arts- whether it be performing or creating, we’d love to have you here! Y’see that open stage over there? That’s where we have jam sessions, camp meetings, and many other performing activities. Just next to it is the indoor stage, in case it’s a rainy or very windy day. Even summer camps have cloudy days. Just across the yard from the indoor stage is the art studio! Where students who express themselves through paint, pencil, clay, or other medias show off their talent! 

Here at Camp Beacon we allow kids to learn things they’ve never learned before; if you want to learn how to play a trumpet, well by gosh you can do that! We have a learning center right next to the mess hall, that’s filled with big classrooms and sound proof rooms. Oh, and don’t worry about late night performances when you’re trying to sleep. The cabins are on the complete other side of the camp from the activity areas, tucked away in a bundle of woods. On hot days, counselors often give the kids a break so they can take a dip in Lake Dust ( ironic, we know ). After a long day of working hard to hone their craft, kids can gather around a toasty campfire and share stories, thoughts, and get to know each other.

Now you might be wondering, who will be in charge of the kids? Well our wonderful, artistically experienced, camp counselors! These youngin’s are currently going to a nearby college for career in one of the many arts,. They are all very excited to meet new people and to teach what they know!
