ONF MEMBERS AS YOUR SIBLING (MK & U version)
Tumblr media
OMG I AM VERY VERY LOOKING FORWARD TO WRITE THIS PART!!!!!
Either you are related from Yuto or Minkyun side and either one of them later joined the family. Confusing? OK example you are Yuto’s sibling by blood and then later Minkyun joined. Or in reversed, Yuto joined later.
1. You are the youngest sibling (could be in terms age when the family comes together or you being born later OR stand in of Yuto’s youngest sister)
2. You are the middle sibling, being either Yuto’s elder blood sibling or Minkyun’s younger sibling but is older than Yuto.
3. Or you are the eldest (Good luck if you do lol there will be a lot of face palming), and alot of  “Yuto, I thought you are on my side????”
Any scenario that is suitable to your own imagination. Also there will be some repeated ideas from first universe because i would like to keep characterization consistency.
Btw this pair of sibling would be one of the noisiest.
My recommendation, you are the middle sibling. But you can totally imagine that your are younger ones. I will try to elaborate both, I hope i won’t confuse you guys🙈
Also age recommendations, Minkyun born in 1995 while Yuto is 1999, so if you are the middle sibling, your birth year is at between.  I would prefer as 1997 or 1998. Preferable that 1997 born if you are Yuto’s sibling, while 1998 born if you are Minkyun’s.
If you are the youngest, either you are same age as Yuto but later birthdate or the 3rd child that born after your parents marriage, in this case, 2 years younger than Yuto and 6 years younger than Minkyun.
Heads up I mentioned in the Hyojin & E-tion household, 3 households in this universe are very close to each other. So, apologies in advance and by all means there is not explicit favoritism (I did wrote about household interacting for previous universes). It just convenient and i felt we can use it this way.  Also, Minseok is Yuto’s classmate.
General headcanons
Yuto family moved to Korea when he is still a toddler. So he speaks Korean outside and Japanese back home. Because his family speaks in Kansai dialect, Yuto picks up that dialect automatically
Of course it could be Yuto’s family moved to Korea when he is at middle school age as well, it can be flexible.
Minkyun struggling to learn Japanese but then give up. But it never stops him to randomly drops in weird Japanese when he is hyper, and then leaving Yuto (and you)facepalming because Minkyun used it wrongly
Actually even though mature but super sensitive brothers. Well in very different ways. But should you live with them long enough, you pick up that intuitively
I dont think this family will have alot of fight because both are sensitive in nature and deeply scare to hurt each other. So this family is all about giving out mental security to family members as well.
(its very different from MInseok Yuto household, because them 2 are in same age, so there is less factor to consider, while Yuto would have to put in Minkyun being a hyung when he started to get used to Minkyun’s existence. And Minkyun will sometimes, not in a bad way, being to passionately and freeminded hoping the younger one to open up more)
I mean, Yuto is defo the tsundere one while Minkyun radiates big puppy energy for this pair chemistry.
Loud
Bonus, Yuto never knew Minkyun can be that clingy lol XD
Minkyun never knew Yuto can be such a fan towards his weird antics XD He thought Yuto wont get his joke due to cultural differences, but turns out Yuto loves it (well cause mostly is body gag/ mom gaegu, like you see what Minkyun did during his birthday’s mini game heaven in 2020, that suddenly motor engine starting? Ya that is total epic lol )
Its super harmonious? like this family combi does not shy away on expressing hey i need help and family members super volunteer to help out if needed. (not that i mean other family does not help out each other, but this one is particularly doing it with super high tendency)
Due to Japanese background, Yuto might try to settle things on his own, but Minkyun will break that mindset stereotype and helps him out (like why you think it is a hassle for me? Ask for help if needed that is what family is here for.)
Minkyun playing guitar while singing and that is how your family know if he is at home or not.
Yeap in this universe Minkyun is a songwriter while Yuto is a dance coach and dancer (later when they all grow up, BTW i am thinking that Yuto and Minseok runs a dance academy later on.)
Minkyun is also part time sponsor/volunteer at pet shelter. In the end you and Yuto also are familiar faces at the spot.
Also, hanging out being little part timers at Baskin Robbins lol
OH IF WANNA TRULY LINK EVERYTHING FOR UNIVERSE 3, BASKIN ROBBINS being the main meetup/setup point.  Jaeyoung is Minkyun’s friend so he would always drop by to have ice cream. While Changyoon could be doing a part time job there before and while occasionally drop by when he is nearby.
welp they all live in the neighbourhood/same city in this universe so they all coincidentally bump at each other very often.
Either Yuto joining a school dance club or a dance academy  so there is where he met Minseok. (Who is a really curious kid who also look up to Yuto and Yuto also look up to him, cos dance talents)
(for this part I wont be talking about how Minkyun snuggling cat snacks cos its repeating what I wrote.)
 Scenario 1
If you are related with Yuto and Minkyun is the new join
Could you be are extroverted and you kind off help Yuto to get close to Minkyun
You and Yuto would find this new brother fascinating. He looks quiet at the beginning but later he will prove you both wrong
But when Minkyun is his serious mode, you will feel strange towards that too, because how can he has such large gap
i thinking its super cute and funny that if you and Yuto both gets intimidated at Minkyun’s height lol
It will be fun if Yuto has a denial stage aka hard time opening up to accept it because he is cautious, but you just bluntly accept it and joins Minkyun. It shows difference between personality of related blood siblings lol
IF actually you and your blood brother are introvertedly fun, Minkyun’s existence will be the key to spark both of your dork traits. It is a assuring factor for your parents that you 3 hang out very well.
its not like your family never heard Yuto laughed, but ever since Yuto and Minkyun opened up and gets close, Yuto is laughing alot.
you and Yuto both asking MInkyun for help when you two could understand some Koreans. But since Minkyun fools around 50:50, you two ends up googling or just straight up asking your friends
But if it is homework/grammar wise, Minkyun will really really explain it to you.
Minkyun also get close towards Yuto’s classmate, Minseok. I think a few times, you did not join, but the boys went out to roam the streets to feed stray cats/animals.
Bonus if in this hc, and you are younger than Yuto, and you have a crush on Minseok. Minkyun picks it up and would wanna help out but you told him to keep still XD
you three gonna be game buddies for sure lol
Scenario 2
If you are related with Minkyun and Yuto is the new joined / OR my preference, Yuto being the home stay student, and your family ends up unofficially adopts a Japanese sibling since Yuto continues his homestay contract with your family.
You and Minkyun thought Yuto is a bit distant in the beginning, and you three overwork your brains on trying too hard not to do something impolite towards each other culture.
But you and Minkyun would be surprise at how Yuto is so adapted to Korean culture later on.
Could be you are similarly shy like Yuto and need time to open up. This time Minkyun will be the one to open up first and slowly helps you.
Minkyun would suggest 3 of you to hang out at pet shelter. It does help.s
hould it is the homestay hc, I do see your family and Yuto’s family going along very well. Occasionally showing up to greet Yuto’s family during Skype session.
As Minkyun is the one who gave up, you are the one who would pick Japanese up later on. It gave Minkyun a shock when you and Yuto casually switching Japanese and Korean (with you amateur Japanese, but its already enough to give Minkyun a fright)
He might pout a bit, thinking/semi blaming himself a bit for not putting more effort to try to manifest the tool get close with Yuto. But then will throw the worry aside because its not really that important. Because he understands that its not like he and Yuto could not communicate anyways.
if it is the student hc, This could be when you and Minkyun are still high shcool-ers/ middle school-ers. And your school opens for foreigns students.
Minkyun being a bit worried because of he is 95er and Yuto a 99er. But when one day he sees Minseok come to visit, he goes: “ OMG thank goodness, I was so worried that he could not get along with classmate.”
Yuto just sidelining his hyung lol like chill dude, I interacts just fine ok. Don’t worry.
(maybe Minseok comes to pass homework for Yuto because Yuto was sick and Minseok know the address.)
Similar to above, should you are Minkyun’s younger sibling, he can picks up that you have a crush on Minseok too.
Scenario 3
If you are the child that born later from your parents marriage
Them both flustered when they first meet the baby you.
Idk why for this hcs, I felt that age gap will be wider, as Yuto and Minkyun’s parents come together when them both are more older than other hcs. My age range idea is Yuto is about 10 or 13 while Minkyun is 14 or 17.
So, also I do think them both had a fight with parents, especially the mom because of her decision to get pregnant at older age. But quickly reconciled, they are just worried, no bad intentions.
Because they are more grown compared to other hcs for this scenario, they help out on babysitting even more and even practical.
Minkyun basically is just like a young flustered dad while Yuto is the calmer one. But sometimes when the baby you throws a tantrum because you specifically wanted mommy, cues in both  Minkyun and Yuto flustered.
Also, Minkyun being funny but you are unbothered, 3 seconds later, it was Yuto who could not hold in and burst out laughter.
You might be the one who pick up the language. And because you master both language, maybe later on your career pick would be interpreter
Rather than Yuto gets confused with language, you are the one who gets confused with language  in the beginning lol
It only got better when Yuto decided that you should speak Japanese with him and Korean with Minkyun in the household.
Minkyun is gonna let his baby young sibling ride him, and he will do his iconic either elephant or horse voice imitations.
(super funny bonus, if you are scared of that when you are a baby, but it got better later on.)
A/N I will stop here because I dont wanna write repetitive stuffs

vampire!au Taeyong x Y/N 6k vampire thingy where weird stuff just seems to happen, but you don’t care as long as you were close to Taeyong // no warnings
Tumblr media
Honestly, you don’t know a lot about your town’s history. Still, you did know that vampires and humans lived in harmony together. You remember something about a truce many moons ago where vampires vowed not to bite a human in exchange for a peaceful life. Even though you have never really heard of anyone being randomly bitten for the past fifty years, humans were still wary of the vampires.
One side of your town was bright and filled with people living their carefree lives, and the other was more dark and forbidden territory to humans. Vampires actually didn’t care if you would go over to their side. However, the elderly people in your town still remember the times when simply walking through their neighbourhood meant being bitten, or worse being turned into one of them.
There was only one case five years ago where a female vampire had turned your neighbour into a vampire, but this was only because they were in love. You always thought it was kind of strange, as she was probably over a hundred years old and your neighbour was only twenty at the time. What could they have possibly talked about? You still remember everyone being upset by the news, and local stores closed for a whole week because everyone thought the vampires went loose again. They didn’t, of course. After a week or so, everything had gone back to normal, and people seemed to have forgotten about your neighbour. As if he had never existed in the first place.
You loved walking through the vampire part of town, as it was more deserted and gave you some time to think. You also needed to go through the quiet streets to get to your classes. You never really liked taking the bus as it was too crowded, and you definitely didn’t want to take the long route. Your only option was to go through the peaceful streets filled with weird antique shops and high-tech stores. You had entered one of their shops once, and it was as close to normal as could be. You couldn’t tell if the lady behind the register was a vampire, but in the end, it didn’t matter. They were simply living their life in the same peaceful manner as a human would do. You didn’t understand the fuss about them being mean and secretive. Vampires used to be human too, and the vampires in your town wanted to live an ordinary life.
You didn’t know many vampires. You only knew of the lady in the shop who could or could possibly not be a vampire. But there was one person you suspected of being a real vampire, and his name was Taeyong. He lived a bit outside town, like you, where there was no strict vampire or human territory. He had moved a little over a year ago to go to your local college together with some friends. He was the brooding and mysterious character who had fascinated you since day one.
At first, you didn’t consider him being a vampire, but there were some giveaways if you paid close attention. He was pale, and this might not a big surprise as everyone in your town was remotely pale due to the lack of sun your city saw, but he was exceptionally pale. As if he was sick, but other days he had a healthy glow and noticeably more energy. He was also too smart to go to your small local college, and this you knew because you shared a lot of the same classes. You only talked to him once, and it wasn’t a success, to say the least.
It was one of your first day of college, and you had never seen Taeyong or any of his friends. Classes were over for the day, and you took your usual route through scary vampire territory. You had bumped into each other, and it was not the romantic kind of walking into each other. He had been running, his eyes crazy, and it scared you. It was never a good sign when someone was running through this part of town.
“Watch where you’re going.” He hissed at you, making you feel small and insecure. As if you were an animal stuck in his trap.
“I’m sorry.” Was the only thing you could say while you were avoiding his intense stare. You had always heard people talk about a vampire’s stare being mesmerizing. Still, you never realized how consuming their eyes were. It seemed to be the only thing you could focus on. It was hard to not look into his eyes, but you fought the urge.
“You should go home. Don’t talk to strangers.” He finally ordered you with concern laced in his tone. You looked up with confusion in your eyes, but that’s where you made a mistake. His eyes were dark brown, almost black-like, and it somehow didn’t scare you.
“My mom told me I shouldn’t talk to strangers, and you’re definitely strange.” You told him, and you cringed at your awkward statement. Were you trying to prove to him that you were not scared because you were, but not of him. He simply laughed at your comment before running off to wherever he was going, leaving you alone and confused. That’s when the small obsession with Taeyong began. You wanted to figure out if he really was a vampire or not, because how else you could explain your speeding heart and moist palms whenever he was near?
You had worked on a project with some of his friends, and you  still couldn’t tell if they were vampires or not. His friends ate the healthy amount of food a human boy in their twenty’s would, and they were actually approachable. You could talk to them, and you could find them at parties chatting someone’s ear off. You actually befriended one of his friends, Mark. He was the kind of person everyone got along with, including you. Taeyong was also present at these parties, but he was always standing somewhere alone in the corner. He preferred to be alone, but girls periodically tried to make a move on him, and he never seemed pleased by their presence. It was quite a hilarious scene to uphold. How the girls attempted to show their cleavage while acting tipsy to get his attention. He never looked at them, disgust expressed in his orbs while he sipped from his drink.
You and Mark had gotten pretty close since your school project. He would take you out for lunch or would invite you to hang with some of his other friends. It was clear to anyone that you and Mark had this special bond, and both your friend groups accepted the other. He even threw you a little surprise birthday party at your favourite coffee shop. He had invited some of his friends and your friends, and it was one of the most enjoyable afternoon’s you had ever had.
Mark had given you a birthday card where he mentioned he would always protect you, and he would even hide a body for you if necessary. He was a good friend, and you were glad he was in your life. You never knew a day would come where you would actually take him up on his offer.
“Hi Y/N!” Mark immediately said when he picked up his phone. He seemed happy and carefree, and you hated to be the person to ruin his mood. Every time something remotely unfortunate happened to you, Mark would try everything in his power to make you feel better. You kind of felt regretful about depending on him so much. You wished you could be the same to Mark, but he never gave you a chance to worry about him.
“Mark, I…” you started, but you were in a state of shock and immediately started crying. Mark noticed your distressed behaviour, and you could hear him saying something in the background.
“Where are you? What happened? Y/N?” Mark asked you, and you could hear him getting ready to come and pick you up. He was the only person you could depend on. You trusted him 100 per cent.
“Second Street, corner shop.” Was the only thing you could say through your tears, but Mark knew enough. You heard a door slam, some keys jingling and a motor being being brought to life.
“Give me five minutes.” He said before hanging up, and you quietly waited for him to come and get you. You didn’t want to hang up, but you also weren’t in a state to have small talk. You simply stood there with your bike in hand.
“Y/N!” Mark yelled through the open window of his car, but he wasn’t driving. You couldn’t see who was driving the vehicle, but you were glad he had finally arrived. It felt like you had waited hours for him to get here, but in reality, it had taken him only three minutes.
“I think I killed it.” You whispered monotonously, and Mark looked worried by your lack of emotions. You pointed toward the small cat that was still stuck under the wheel of your bike. It didn’t really look alive, and you couldn’t remove your bike out of shock. You had stood frozen in your spot for the last half hour, chances were getting slimmer for the cat to be alive.
“You know, I was joking on that birthday card when I said I’d help you hide a body.” Mark tried to lighten the mood, but you simply presented him with your deadly glare. He seemed relieved by your typical behaviour before taking your hands off the bike to remove the murder machine.
“What happened?” A voice behind you asked, and you immediately turned around in shock. It was Taeyong, and he had probably driven Mark to the murder scene. It was the first time you had heard him speak in close proximity, and it gave you chills all over your body. This was not the time to be aroused by someone’s voice. You were currently the lead suspect of a murder case.
“She hit a cat with her bike.” Mark sighed, and relief flashed over Taeyong’s face. Why did he look so relieved? Had he been worrying about you too?
“Are you alright?” Taeyong asked you while he moved closer to you. Mark was now examining the cat, and you were glad Taeyong was distracting you from the bloodless scene. His eyes were deep brown and merely mesmerizing, you almost forgot about the situation. Almost.
“No.” You simply said, making Taeyong chuckle lowly. You never really liked to play the damsel in distress, but you couldn’t hide your feelings. You needed their help, and you didn’t care how pathetic it made you look. You had never even killed a fly, and now you had accidentally murdered a cat.
“Do you want to bury the body?” He asked you, and all you could do was nod your head. Mark looked questionably at Taeyong but seemed to make peace with the situation. He simply shrugged his shoulders, trying to think of a solution.
“Okay,” Taeyong said before he went back to his car to grab a towel out of his gym bag. Mark stood by your side to shield you from the scene while Taeyong wrapped the lifeless body in his blue towel.
“There isn’t a place to bury it here, though.” Mark thought out loud to Taeyong. They were looking at each other as if they were speaking through their minds.
“We can do it in our garden, I suppose.” Taeyong finally stated. The boys turned toward you expectantly.
“Do you want to be there?” Mark asked you softly before wrapping his arm over your shoulder. You shuddered at the contact, realizing how cold it had gotten outside. Taeyong had seemed to decipher your reaction and quickly grabbed an extra sweater out of his bag.
“Yes.” You finally said when Taeyong had given you his sweater. You gladly accepted and put on the extra layer of warmth before following them toward the black car. The piece of clothing smelled freshly washed, and you couldn’t help but relax in the backseat while a dead animal was in the trunk. How did you always get yourself in these weird situations?
You had never gone to Mark’s house, so you did feel a bit awkward because of the situation. The only thing you knew was that he had three housemates, one of them being Taeyong. The others you had briefly met, and you do remember one of them being at your surprise birthday party. You think their names were Jungwoo and Doyoung.
The moment the car parked in its rightful place, two guys stormed outside with worried expressions. When Taeyong opened your door, and when you made your way out, everyone seemed relieved. Again, why was everyone so concerned about you? You barely knew these people.
“What happened?”
“How’s Y/N?”
“Everything alright?”
Were a few of the questions they immediately fired toward the three of you. Taeyong looked at Mark as if to say he should handle the nosy boys, while he opened the trunk of his car. He carefully grabbed the cat wrapped up in a towel before walking out to their backyard. Everyone silently followed him, not knowing what was in the towel or what the plan was.
Taeyong instructed his roommates to dig a hole at the edge of the garden while Mark kept you company. No one questioned Taeyong but simply followed his order. You were mesmerized by his powerful vibe, and you couldn’t help but follow his every action. How he carefully placed the dead cat on the grass to adjust the towel. How he sometimes secretly glanced toward you and Mark to check if you were still doing okay.
When the other two boys were done digging a hole in the ground, they awkwardly awaited further instructions. Taeyong simply looked at you to see if you were ready. He probably expected a simple nod so he could place the cat in the hole, but you wanted to say a few words.
“We are gathered here today to mourn the loss of a suicidal cat.” You started, and you could hear Mark hold back his laughter, his body vibrating next to you. The other two boys simply stared at you. Taeyong had to suppress a smile, and you wished you had seen him smile earlier. It was a beautiful sight to behold.
“I don’t know if he or she is a loner, or if they belong to anyone. I’m extremely remorseful of my actions, and I hope that if there is a God that he or she can forgive me. It was unintentional. May you rest in peace.” You finished your speech. Taeyong noticed and carefully placed the cat in its rightful place in their garden. The other boys skillfully closed up the hole while you softly let tears fall from your eyes. Mark noticed and gave you a tissue he kept in his jacket. He had gotten used to you crying over silly little things, so he always carried an extra tissue just in case.
You gladly accepted the tissue before wiping your eyes. You realized you had put on make-up this morning, and you probably looked like a raccoon. You looked at Mark, and he simply nodded his head as if he just read your thoughts.
“Shit.” You muttered under your breath, making Mark laugh. Blame it on the aftermath of shock, but you started laughing along with him. Taeyong and the other roommates looked at you with hundredth questions in their eyes, but you and Mark simply kept laughing like mad people.
“Is she okay?” Someone asked Taeyong softly, but he simply smiled at you when he thought you weren’t looking.
“We should get her inside before anyone sees her.” The one named Jungwoo suddenly said firmly. Taeyong simply nodded his head before he took your arm and rushed you inside. You didn’t understand what the issue was of you being seen in their garden, but you didn’t question them. They had helped you without asking you, so you returned the favour.
“You can stay here tonight. You can sleep in my bed while I sleep on the couch.” Mark told you while he grabbed some water for you to drink. Jungwoo was ordering some pizza while Doyoung and Taeyong were softly talking in the living room. It was weird to hang out in their house when they clearly never invited anyone before.
“Where is the bathroom?” You asked Mark after drinking the glass of water he had given you. Mark pointed toward the direction of the bathroom, and you followed his instructions.
You were surprised by your appearance in the mirror, and not in a good way. Your face was swollen from crying, and your skin was pale from the shock. Your mascara was everywhere except on your eyelashes. To summarize, you looked like a walking mess, and you finally realized why everyone kept asking if you were okay. You undoubtedly didn’t look okay. You wiped the remaining make-up off your face and splashed your face with water, hoping to make yourself look more alive. When you were done, you made your way back toward the kitchen, but an argument was going on in the kitchen. It was about you.
“Why did you bring her here? It’s dangerous for humans to be seen around here.” Jungwoo stated firmly, and you could feel the tension rising.
“She was alone and helpless. We couldn’t just leave her.” Mark defended himself. You hated the fact you had put him in trouble again. He was always helping you while you kept putting him in awkward situations.
“You could have driven her home.” Doyoung piped in.
“I expected this behaviour of Mark, but I didn’t think Taeyong would be so stupid,” Jungwoo said irritated. Him dropping Taeyong’s name made your heart race, and you couldn’t understand why your heart was acting this way.
“I think she’s back,” Taeyong stated, and you had a weird feeling that he knew you were eavesdropping as if he sensed you being near.
“Y/N I hope you like Hawaiian pizza,” Jungwoo said when you entered the kitchen, acting as if you didn’t hear the strange conversation. You simply nodded your head when you stood next to Mark. You didn’t know how to work around them, and it showed.
“I’ll bring you some clothes to get changed into,” Taeyong announced before leaving the room to get you a change of clothes. You thanked him, but he was already out of earshot. After you got changed into some sweats and another sweater of Taeyong, you guys shared pizza and watched a movie. There was a weird atmosphere that no one knew how to break, so you quickly made your way toward Mark’s room to go to sleep.
It was strange sleeping in Mark’s bed in a house filled with boys. It was weird knowing there was a corpse of a cat buried in their garden that you had accidentally killed. However, you did sleep the full ten hours. It was Mark who had woken you up to check up on you.
“Y/N,” Mark whispered while he gently touched your forehead. You opened your eyes and were met with Mark looking worriedly at you. You noticed you were covered in sweat.
“Hi.” You croaked out, noticing your dry throat.
“Here is some water.” Mark offered you, and you gladly accepted. “You had a bad dream. Do you remember anything?” He asked you after you drowned the whole glass. You shook your head. This wasn’t the first time you were covered in sweat when you woke up.
“It happens from time to time. I never remember the bad dream, though.” You explained to him, but he kept looking at you as if you were a porcelain doll. “You don’t need to worry. I’m a big girl.” You joked while you showed him your imaginary muscles. This got a little chuckle out of him, but not his full contagious laugh that you loved so much.
“I have to go to school now, so I can’t drive you. Taeyong told me he has the same class as you at ten, so he will be driving you, okay?” Mark explained to you, and you could only nod your head in agreement. He quickly enveloped you in a big bro hug before leaving you in his room.
You were going to be alone with Taeyong. You would enter your class with Taeyong by your side. All the girls will be jealous, and your friends are definitely going to want to know the story behind your entrance. You couldn’t tell them you killed a cat by accident, and called Mark while having a panic attack. Perhaps you should just tell them it was all coincidental.
“We leave in ten minutes,” Taeyong said while knocking on Mark’s door. You realized you had stayed frozen on Mark’s bed for over an hour, and you didn’t even start to get ready.
“Let’s make it twenty.” You shouted before rushing to the bathroom to take a quick shower. You heard Taeyong laugh, and you hated the fact that you always missed it when he was laughing. For someone you’ve had spied for over a year, you had never seen him smile. Now, in the span of barely twelve hours, you had heard him laugh and seen him smile. It gave you a rush of adrenaline and a certain kind of proudness that you were able to evoke these emotions out of Taeyong. Is this how people get addicted? Is this the reason why girls keep throwing themselves at him?
You didn’t have any spare clothes, so you kept wearing Taeyong’s black hoodie and your black leggings from the day before. It wasn’t your best outfit, but it wasn’t that different than other days. When you walked out to Taeyong’s car, you did feel a little bit insecure.
“You look great.” He softly complimented you while you seated yourself next to him. A soft blush found its way on your face, and you tried to hide it while covering your face.
“You’re only saying that because I’m wearing your hoodie.” You teased him, stunned by your own sudden confidence boost. He looked just as stunned as you at your remark, but he quickly recovered, showing off his tiny gummy smile.
“You got me. You look amazing in my clothes. You should keep the hoodie.” He told you while staring the car. You stared at his hands while he drove onto the street. Your heart started beating faster, and your palms began to sweat.
“Thank you! I think I will.” You finally muttered when you had recovered just a little bit. If he noticed your awkward behaviour, he didn’t comment on it. But you had a feeling he knew he could make your heart lose its healthy beat.
The moment the two of you entered your local college together, everyone stopped talking so they could look at the strange combination. Taeyong was never seen with anyone except for his three friends who were coincidentally his roommates. You understood their reaction because you would act the same if he walked with any other girl into class. You thought he would sit in his usual lonely seat at the back, but he followed you toward your fixed spot at the front. You liked to sit at the front with two of your friends. You looked questionably at Taeyong, but he simply shrugged his shoulders.
“I just want to make sure you’re okay.” He softly whispered as if understanding the question in your head, moving a bit closer to you than was sociably acceptable. His closeness made you shiver, but you tried to cover it by pretending to be cold.
“I am.” You confidently stated while you tried to ignore the rush in your body by Taeyong’s closeness.
“You’re still pale.” He remarked, again with the same worry in his eyes as the day before. You didn’t know the guy, why the heck was he so interested in you? Maybe it was because you were close to Mark, but it still confused you. You hadn’t really spoken to Taeyong before yesterday, and now he was sitting next to you in class?
“I’m always pale.” You deadpanned while taking your seat. Taeyong quickly followed and occupied the chair next to you. He softly opened up his backpack to get his notebook and pencil while you eyed him suspiciously.
“I really don’t like this class.” He whispered, and you could feel the stare of your friends on your back. Why was the Taeyong whispering something in your ear? You ignored him for the remainder of the lesson, as his presence was already distracting enough.
After class your parted ways, you had an economics class, while he had to do something else you didn’t ask about. Your friends fired question after question the moment Taeyong was out of earshot, but you had a feeling he could hear everything they said by the small smile on his face. You tried to answer as honestly as possible, but you mainly kept up the facade of it being an accident. That both of you run into each other on accident. They seemed to believe you, and you continued your day as if nothing had ever happened.
You walked your usual route back home while it was already getting dark out. You had stayed longer at the library than planned, but it didn’t matter that much to you. You liked the colours of the sky when the sun was setting, reminding you of carefree times you spent your holidays on your grand parent’s farm.
You hadn’t noticed a figure following you, and you also hadn’t felt the air getting colder and colder the more you got in the vampire district. You hugged yourself trying to get a bit warmer, but the cold was creeping in your bones. You looked at your phone, but there were no new messages, making you feel alone.
“Why is a beautiful girl like yourself walking all alone at night?” Someone commented, and you quickly turned around toward the source of the voice. It was a handsome young man you had never seen before. Your town really was filled with beautiful young men with mesmerizing eyes. You noticed their eyes to be a reddish colour, and it did scare you, but not enough.
“It’s barely night time. The sun is still in the sky.” You corrected the stranger as if you were old friends. He seemed surprised by your answer as if he hadn’t expected a bratty response.
“I see why they like you.” He simply stated, making you look at him with confusion. Who was he talking about? He started laughing, and his laugh was low and a bit scary. You know this cliché villain laughs, well he had one like that.
“I” m Jaehyun.” He introduced himself, walking closer to you. You took a few steps back, but he simply smirked at your actions.
“Okay.” You answered him while your back was against the corner of the street. There was no one to see you. You were alone with this stranger, who you felt had bad intentions.
“What’s your name?” He asked you softly, still making his way closer to you. He was only an arm’s length away from you, and you didn’t know how to get out of this situation.
“I don’t see why that’s important.” You told him, but this must have been the wrong answer. His smile disappeared, and annoyance transformed his face into something grim. Something you didn’t want to witness. He moved closer until he was right in front of you, and you could smell his evil intentions. You had never seen this man before, and it scared you. His hand softly touched your face while he sniffed the side of your neck. His lips barely touching your sensitive skin. You stood there frozen, not knowing how to handle the situation, while you felt his teeth scraping at your skin.
You thought this was going to be the end. You knew the guy must be a vampire, so you didn’t try to run as it was useless. They were faster and all-round better at anything than humans. You were scared, and you expected his bite any second when he was forcefully removed from you. You didn’t dare to open your eyes, but you heard someone crying in pain.
The moment you opened your eyes, you couldn’t understand what was going on before you. Taeyong was moving incredibly fast; you could barely follow him with your eyes, but he seemed to be the one with the upper hand. The Jaehyun guy tried to fight back, but Taeyong was filled with rage the other guy barely didn’t have a chance.
“Taeyong!” You yelled, trying to stop him from killing the other. He held Jaehyun in his arms, ready to snap his neck, but he stopped when he heard the desperation in his voice.
“Do you have to kill him?” You asked him softly, looking into his eyes. He looked puzzled by your question.
“He’s been biting humans around here even though he knows there is a truce.” He told you a matter of factly, but you weren’t satisfied with his answer.
“Are you alone, Jaehyun?” You asked the guy Taeyong was holding firmly in his deadly grip. You didn’t know why you were trying to save the scary vampire’s life, but you already killed a cat this week. You couldn’t handle any more blood on your hands.
“Why does it matter? You want to adopt me?” He spat back at you, and you almost wanted to turn around and let Taeyong do whatever he was planning to do.
“Isn’t that better than dying?” You asked him softly. You touched his face, mimicking the action he had done to you earlier. His were still franticly searching for a way out, and you could feel he was a lost cause. But you didn’t want to give up on him so easily. There was a glimmer of desperation in his eyes as if he wanted to be killed. As if he knew someone was out there protecting you.
“I’ve been dead for over twenty years now.” nHe simply stated, his body relaxing a bit as if he was showing his true colours.
“You’re relatively young.” You remarked. Your eyes locked with Taeyong’s and he seemed to understand your plan. Somehow he had a perfect instinct on how you felt. It comforted you to know he actually listened to you and respected your opinion even though he didn’t really seem to agree.
“Don’t tell me you plan to take him home?” He asked you in disbelief, but he already knew the answer.
“Not my home.” You shrugged, looking over at his car that was still parked in the middle of the empty road.
“Get in the car.” He commanded, and you followed his order as if your life depended on it. Taeyong locked the unknown vampire in his trunk as if he was used to tying up depressed vampires. The ride back to his home was quiet and filled with a thick tension you didn’t want to break. He looked deep in thought, and you couldn’t take your eyes off of him.
“I remember a year ago where I told you not to talk to strangers.” He finally spoke while he parked his car in front of his house. You didn’t know how to answer him, so you just got out of the vehicle.
“Aren’t you scared?” He asked you forcefully. He was annoyed by your behaviour, but you weren’t scared. You had never been scared of vampires, and you could never be frightened of Taeyong.
“Should I be scared?” You asked him softly while you looked into his eyes. He seemed to soften a little, but he still looked pissed at your behaviour.
“Yes! He tried to kill you.” He stated, and you simply shrugged your shoulders at his comment.
“I don’t think he actually tried to kill me. He was waiting for you to tear him away from me.” You explained to Taeyong while Mark went outside to inspect the noise you two were making.
“Y/N? What happened? What are you doing here?” Mark asked you immediately when he saw you. He inspected you from head to toe to see if anything was off, but you looked perfectly fine.
“Your friend has adopted a vampire.” Taeyong simply explained to mark while his eyes bore into yours.
“What?” Mark questioned him again as if he hadn’t heard him correctly.
“You heard me. We’ll set him up in the basement. Tell the others.” Taeyong commanded Mark while he grabbed your arm and pushed you inside the house. “And you, you stay in the kitchen.” He told you when you were safely inside the house. Mark went back inside, yelling for the others to come down, while Taeyong grabbed Jaehyun from his trunk.
You listened to Taeyong and waited in the kitchen. You had no clue what the others were doing in the basement, but you didn’t hear any noises to make you feel worried. Mark was the first to come up, but he seemed as cheerful as ever.
“Taeyong is going to drive you home. I’m staying with Jaehyun.” Mark told you while you were scrolling through your phone. You were glad to spend some more time with Taeyong, but at the same time, it made you feel worried. Was he going to scold you?
“He’s not pissed. Don’t worry.” Mark explained when he saw your worried expression. You relaxed a little bit but still acted stiff. The past 24 hours had been tiring, to say the least.
“I’ve brought enough trouble into this house.” You confessed while you looked down at your hands. Mark quickly came over to your side to wrap you into a big bro hug.
“You’re a troublemaker, I’m not going to deny that.” He whispered with a teasing smile which you gladly returned.
“Are you trying to make me feel better?” You asked him with a raised eyebrow, earning a wholesome laugh out of him.
“I don’t know how to handle this situation.” He confessed finally.
“I’m not scared of you, and I would like to keep my best friend.” You told him earnestly. He looked relieved by your answer.
“You’re never going to lose me.” He told you. His arm was still around you when Taeyong returned to the kitchen. He had his car keys in hand, signalling you to move. You said your goodbye to Mark and followed Taeyong outside.
The moment you stepped into his car, a strange awkwardness filled the small space. Your heart was racing, and not because you were scared, but because Taeyong was near.
“Why aren’t you scared? You should be scared of me. I could tear you apart in a second.” He finally broke the silence when you were almost at your house.
“Do you want me to be scared of you?” You asked him while fidgeting with your hands. You seemed to do that a lot around him.
“I’m no good.” He confessed softly. You looked over at him, and he looked like a broken man. He probably had never chosen this life, and it made you think that Jaehyun and Mark also seemed like they didn’t want to be like this. It made you feel sad, and you tried to comfort him, but you didn’t know how to. He pulled over in front of your parent’s house, but you didn’t want to get out just yet. You finally had him close to you, and you weren’t letting him go that easily.
“My parents warned me about drugs and freaks in the streets, but never the ones with the hazel eyes and the missing heartbeats.” As you looked into his eyes, you could feel him searching deep into your soul. “I’m not scared, because you have never given me a reason to. You were there when I needed you most.” You explained to him while he kept his eyes fixed on you. His brown eyes showed you the admiration he had for you, it made you feel dizzy and bold. You cupped his face into your hands. He let it happen as if he had anticipated your behaviour.
“You’re a special one, aren’t you?” He said while his hand found their way to your face. He gently stroked your cheek, as if he was afraid to scare you away. He looked at you as if you were a porcelain doll, and you didn’t mind. He had never looked at any of the other girls in your town. He had never even given them a second glance, and here he was comfortably stroking your face in his car. Here you were with a Taeyong who looked at you as if you were extraordinary beautiful. Like you were important.
“Only for you.” You whispered, but your speeding heart gave you away. He must have heard the change of pace because he suddenly broke out into an adorable smile.
“What are you doing Friday?” He asked you, and you couldn’t hide your excitement.
“I’m free.” You told him eagerly. “I have absolutely no plans.” You continued, which made Taeyong laugh that soft giggle of his. You had a feeling you were the only human who had ever heard him laugh like this.
“Do you maybe want to go to a movie or something?” He stuttered softly. If he weren’t a vampire, he probably would’ve been blushing. You tried to calm yourself down, but with butterflies in your stomach and a head buzzing with possibilities, there was no way you could control your speeding heart.
“Are you asking me out on a date?” You asked him teasingly, masking the sound of your heart leaping out of your chest.
“If that’s okay with you.” He asked for your permission, which almost made your heart combust into a million pieces. Could your heart survive a date with Taeyong? You weren’t so sure.
“Absolutely.” You told him. You quickly gave him a kiss on his cheek before running inside. Your action might have been bold, but you regretted your straightforwardness. It was clear Taeyong had never asked anyone out on a date, and maybe you shouldn’t have tried to push his buttons. You sneaked a glance outside, and Taeyong was still parked in front of your house. You saw him touching his cheek with a soft smile, before driving off. You were almost sure you wouldn’t survive a date with Taeyong.

Prompto
In the city, the air was just starting to chill. The once colorful leaves laid dry on the ground, serenading passers-by with the sound of late fall. But here, far above the city, deep snow sat comfortably in its mountain home.
Prompto had brought you to a cabin in the clouds. He said that a friend’s family owned it, but all you cared about was that it would be a weekend alone for the two of you.
Days spent in the thin atmosphere seemed dreamlike. The silence of the mountain forest was cut by the sounds of your giggles as you learned to snowshoe and ski. The only thing more beautiful than the clear night sky was the pink blush across Prompto’s glowing face as he smiled at you.
Today, you had taken a snowmobile out to explore. Prompto knew about some “special place” he wanted you to see. You held onto him tightly as your motorized sled sped over the frozen landscape.
What your love had been so excited to show you was the sort of scene that inspired great paintings: a lake literally frozen in time. You didn’t think it possible, but everything about the massive feature was pure ice! What had once been water now sparkled in the sunlight. There was no snow on the surface, leaving it’s beautiful teal features exposed for all to admire. Even the waterfall looked frozen in time.
As the sun was high in the sky, you and Prompto found yourself stopping, once again, to admire the blue jewel of water before you.
Your sunshine took a deep breath, soaking in everything about the mountain, as he stared out over the ice. He began to say something, but what it was, you would never know.
If there was a god of mischief, they had gifted you with a wonderful idea!
Thwack!
Your cold hands still threw with amazing accuracy!
Prompto stood in shock as remnants of a snowball slid from his cap. You gasped to regain the breath your fits of laughter stole from you.
Your laughter also obscounded with your attention.
Before you knew what had happened, you were faced with the catastrophe of icy crystals sliding down your back from the snowball that hit you in the head.
And with the first casualty of your warmth, the snowball fight was on!
The two of you ran and slid through the white wonderland around you, throwing hastily formed snowballs like your life depended on it. Prompto had an amazing aim, but very little muscle to speak of, so his throws never went far. You had gotten the drop on him from above, heaving an armful of snow down on him.
Now, he sought revenge! You hid behind a drift as he advanced, unaware of your position. This would be the moment of truth!
“Come out, come out, wherever you are,” he sang, tossing and catching a snowball as he walked.
You peeped over the embankment, waiting for your opportunity. Suddenly, it struck!
Prompto was distracted by something in the trees to his left! Every muscle in your legs sprang to life, lifting you from your hiding place to face your darling adversary!
But the shot was never to be yours.
In a slowed moment, you watched as Prompto’s head turned to lock eyes with you. Before you had a chance to pitch, the snow around you came alive with magic!
A dozen perfectly formed orbs of cold magic hurtled towards your love with sublime accuracy.
Time resumed it’s running pace as you watched Prompto become bombarded in white. He fell to the ground as both of you stared at each other in shock.
“Not fair,” he cried indignantly.
“That wasn’t me!” You threw up your hands to prove innocence, hastily dropping the snowball in the process.
“Really? Then who was it?” Prompto was starting to brush himself off. You dashed over to help him to his feet.
Soon enough, he had his answer. You had just gotten him to his feet when you heard small giggles echo through the trees around you.
Prompto grabbed onto your arm, panic written across his face. “Is that a...a ghost,” he whimpered.
But you didn’t share in his fright. Your mouth contorted into an exaggerated frown as twelve scantily clad fairly like figures made their way out of the trees and rocks around you.
“For the last time, mom, would you PLEASE put some clothes on!”
The twelve fairies smiled as they converged into a blinding light. From the light emerged Gentiana.
The elusive woman strode towards you, her eyes half closed, looking at her feet. As she reached you, she looked up and placed one icey hand on your cheek.
“Greetings, darling.” She opened her eyes to gaze into yours. Her smile spoke tales of fondness, joy, and warmth that others who new the Glaceon would never know.
Knowing everything was in good fun, you smiled back at her. “Hello, mother.” You had missed her. Her cool touch felt welcoming on your skin. In your heart, you knew it had been far too long.
“MOTHER?!?” Prompto had returned to his senses, now crying out in confusion. He looked between the two of you, thoroughly distraught by what had just happened.
Giantiana turned towards him, a smile of warm recognition mixed with a hint of mischief graced her perfect face. “Hello, Prompto.” Her voice was distinct against the sounds of the forest, yet still soft on the ears.
And in a single moment, your darling sunflower lost all of his composure.
He started blubbering, pointing to places Shiva had hidden in her diamond dust form, then at Giantiana, then at you. The only distinguishable words were “Shiva,” “Giantiana,” and “mom”. His face turned redder by the second.
Finally, he stopped. His cheeks were crimson and his mouth hung open as he stared at you. Silence fell over the world.
Before you and your mother turned to each other and started giggling. Prompto looked exasperated in his confusion at the whole situation.
Finally, you regained your breath. With love filled words, you decided to straighten out the situation.
“Darling, there’s something I’ve been meaning to tell you.” You paused to make sure he was listening. He nodded, open mouthed. You took a deep breath. “Meet my mother, Shiva.”
It took many explanations mixed with frantic moments trying to calm Prompto as he hyperventilated, before you were able to fully explain the situation. As per usual, your mother was little help: she stood by silently, nodding and smiling whenever the moment suited her.
Yes, Giantiana and Shiva were one in the same. And you?
You were a demi-god. Not by birth, but by blood adoption. You had been abandoned as a baby, too young to fend for yourself. Against the wishes of all other gods, Shiva took pity on you. She opted to adopt you and care for you as one of her own. When Bahamut threatened to destroy her newfound tiny mortal, she found ways to circumvent him.
All it took was a single drop of her blood.
She had fed you one drop of her blood, hoping with all of her godly might, that it would make you strong enough to stand against Bahamut’s rage and time’s fury.
And it worked.
You were now of her blood. You shared her powers and her grace. It allowed your life to continue seemingly without end and gave you the ability to move through time and space without a sound.
After a mere 300 years of living with your mother, you decided to venture out on your own. For the last century, you had been wandering through the eras and landscapes of Eos. You had seen empires rise and fall, families be born and tear apart, and watched the trials of love.
But this was different...
You had sent Prompto off, allowing Shiva a moment alone with you.
“Is he worth it?” She asked in a soft tone, watching your love walk away beside you.
You smiled. Your heart had always known the answer to that question but this was the first time you ever voiced it.
“Yes.”
Your mother looked into your eyes to test the truth of them. She smiled in satisfaction at the answer.
“Then you have my blessing.” Her dark hair disappeared into a flurry of crystalline snowflakes before you.
The sun made its way across the sky. Back in the cabin, you and Prompto snuggled by the fire to warm up. The time had passed in silence, with him simply staring into the flames.
“Why?” He suddenly blurted. He was warming his hands on a mug of hot chocolate.
“What?”
“Tell me why...this!” Chocolate spilled from his cup as he threw his hands up. HIs eyes looked fearful as he turned towards you.
“This?” “Why me? Why are you here? Am I just your...current toy? What am I to you? I mean, I can’t be much! Look at you! You’re part god! You practically ARE a god! I don’t getwhyyou’dbewithmeand…”
With a single finger to his pink lips, you hushed your love’s panic. You held it there for a long moment, until he exhaled and allowed himself to relax.
You removed your finger from his lips before giving yourself a moment to collect your thoughts. “I’m here because with you...with you everything is new again. With you, everything is beautiful and...filled with love.” You looked up to see him staring at you with a childlike awe. “With you, I don’t just see life, I EXPERIENCE it!” You searched his eyes, “Do you get that?”
He shook his head, but wore a warm smile. “No, but if it makes sense to you, that’s good enough for me.”
But his answer wasn’t good enough for you!
You grabbed his hand as you threw away the blanket over his lap. Your empty mugs lay discarded on the ground as you drug him to the front porch.
In the cold outside, the sun was setting. The sky was painted with brilliant hues against the dark clouds.
“Do you see that?” You asked blatantly, still holding onto Prompto, pointing towards the sky. He nodded in fearful shock.
“Ofcourseyoudohowdoyoumissthefigginsunset...Ok, but have you ever thought about WHY?” The words seemed to spill from your mouth.
“Why? Why the sun?” Prompto asked, not understanding.
“No! Why the sunset is so beautiful! Why the sunset is so special to lovers…” You felt victorious in your discovery in the right words.
“...no,” Prompto slowly began to shake his head.
You pointed back to the colorful scene. “Just look at it! You helped me to see why! Look at those colors! You see the pink on the clouds? And the orange closest to the ground? And how the blue looks a bit more purplish in some spots than in others? Well, it’s different! Different from yesterday’s sunset!”
You had to catch your breath from your last rant. Prompto slowly looked away from you to fix his gaze on the sunset.
“Yesterday’s sunset wasn’t as purplish and it had more orange to it! It’s like love! It’s different each day, it’s different depending on where you are or how cold it is and...and a ton of other factors! But it’s always beautiful!”
“Love is different everyday, too! Sometimes you’re mad at each other, sometimes you’re so in love you feel like you’re going to burst, sometimes you’re scared FOR the other person, but you are ALWAYS in love!” You paused, out of breath from this marathon of explanation. Prompto stood beside you in contemplative silence.
“Prom,” you paused for him to look at you. “I never knew that. Four hundred years and I never learned that. It took you to teach me that. And I love you for it...and so much more. I choose you, I want to be with you because...because you’ve taught me what love means.”
He stared into your eyes with a look of realization in his eyes.
The kiss you shared in that moment was one of the most sublime things you had ever encountered. It was one of the purest and oldest forms of love, one the gods themselves would envy. But in that moment, none were present to witness it. For it was just the two of you, wrapped up in passion under a watercolor sky.
Stars started to peek out from the blue sky before you were able to return to your senses.
“Do you get it now?” You whispered towards the sky, wrapped up in Prompto’s arms.
“I think so…” He began, staring out still.
“Let’s do this, watch sunsets together, from now on! Just you and me! Let’s never miss a sunset! Or.. or anything else!” He burst, gazing down at you. “I love you, [Y/N]! And I want to see everything you see and learn everything you do! From now on!”
His outburst caught you by surprise for a moment, before you committed it to a loving memory.
You smiled up at him. The future would come all to quickly, but for now, you would make the most of every moment.
“That sounds...perfect.”

Capricorn’s Horn
Daily-Fluff-Dose Day Three
Prompt: Stargazing
Characters: Klaus + Diego
Ben keeps saying, “We don’t have time for this,” which is ridiculous for a number of reasons, not least of which is that one member of their group is a time traveler. Who isn’t as good at cars as he thinks he is, but Diego’s not saying anything. Five is good at hot-wiring cars, though - maybe he would just abandon failing vehicles and steal new ones in the apocalypse. Until all the gas dried up and batteries got too old to start. He can’t keep thinking about that, or he’ll start feeling bad for the little shit. It’s more fun to roll his eyes.
He’s out of practice rolling his eyes at Ben, but he’s working on that. For a while there, it was a constant stream of awe and wonder and not taking his eyes off of him for one second because it was such a miracle he was here and alive again. Apparently he was always here. Whatever. The point is that it is incredible, but Ben is also Diego’s brother still, so he’s getting over all of that and learning to tease him again.
Ben deserves it too, he’s so concerned about them missing this concert Vanya is playing in. They’ve saved the world, they can handle a car and a concert. But Ben always has been a worrier, Diego had just forgotten how much. Although part of it might be that he can’t bear to miss out on anything now that he’s alive to experience things. That’s another train of thought Diego can’t follow or he’ll get all soppy.
He decides instead that Ben’s more Type A nowadays because so much time spent following Klaus around had aggravated that particular personality trait. Diego can relate.
Speaking of Klaus, he’s drifted away from the loose semi-circle of testosterone gathered around the steaming hood. Allison and Vanya are flying over to Chicago because they have actual jobs and schedules, but the rest of them had decided to make a trip of it.
Or Luther had decided. “For Bonding” he’d said gravely, with audible capitalization, and the rest of them hadn’t kicked up enough of a fuss to stop it from happening.
Nothing bonds better than a cold night spent shouting at each other on the side of a one lane road out in the middle of bumfuck nowhere.
Ben snaps at Five, “Teleportation isn’t the same as being an expert at traveling in a motor vehicles - you get that, right?”
With venom, Five sneers, “Well you never learned how to drive, but if The Horror has any automative knowledge, I’m all ears.”
Luther’s giant body is perched on the low metal railing at the edge of the shoulder. He’s quietly reading the manual, starting from page one.
So everything is going about as well as could be expected.
Diego knows that if his brothers come to blows, he’s not going to be able to responsibly intervene. Watching and laughing will be easier to get away with if he puts some distance between himself and them, so he tramples into the field they are stopped next to and joins Klaus where he’s sitting in the tall grass.
“Whatcha doing?” he asks.
Klaus points up to the sky. “There are so many stars out here.”
He’s right. There are so many stars that the sky almost seems bright, even though the night between the pinpricks of light feels blacker than any Diego has ever seen. It’s a yawning empty endless sort of black, but it’s comforting, too.
“That there? That one’s Capricorn’s Horn,” Klaus traces a finger through the darkness. It doesn’t help Diego recognize the constellation Klaus is talking about.
He says, “Really?” He can at least pretend.
“No,” Klaus says. “Do I look like Spaceboy to you? And those three over there, those are the Crustaceaniola Cluster from the Hamburger Galaxy. I’ve studied astrology, I know lots of space things.”
Diego shoves his shoulder and Klaus cackles. He doesn’t topple all the way over, like he would have, back before everything happened that week. He’s still a twig, but he’s more solid now. Diego’s glad. “You’re an idiot,” he says.
“Is that gas back there toxic or something? I’m Four, you’re Two, remember?”
Diego rolls his eyes. The expression version of shoving his dumb brother. Not that he can see it, because it’s too dark and Klaus isn’t even looking at him anyway. His face is turned up to the sky.
The chill in the air makes this whole night feel cleaner than it ever does in the city. And closer, like he could touch the stars if he just reached out a little farther.
Klaus rolls his shoulders back. “Did you want to talk to Patch?”
“What? No.” The entirely honest answer of course is that he wants to talk to her pretty much all the time. Getting his time cut short so suddenly like that left him with lots of things to say. Klaus has been sober and working on his powers, and he’s been able to talk with Patch a few amazing, heart-wrenching, times. Tonight is a rare occasion where Diego hadn’t even really been thinking about all that before Klaus brought her up, though. “I just wanted to be with you.”
Klaus looks at him then, away from the stars for the first time since Diego came over here. He doesn’t say anything, though, just watches him for a beat before looking up again. Another rare occasion. Klaus staying quiet.
He has been more quiet, lately. He’s gotten more solid and gotten more quiet. Not all the time, he can still pull off a monologue of nonsense when he gets going, but there’s these hushed moments in between that Diego hasn’t seen from Klaus before.
Diego wonders if he’s noticed. He wonders if he himself has changed in ways that his siblings see but he doesn’t. They all see a lot more of each other these days.
“I don’t think I’ve ever seen this many stars,” Klaus says. “I’ve spent plenty of nights outside, but the lights of the city blocked all this out. And it was always so smokey in ‘Nam.”
It’s an opening, a good one. Diego could delve into that story, that he only has caught glimpses of so far. Clearly, the subject is not far from Klaus’ mind. But he also seems so contented. Diego doesn’t want to break that peace. His little brother spends enough time with ghosts already.
Instead, Diego says, “I’m just glad to see the moon up where it belongs.”
“How’s the big guy doing, anyway? Considering how his - ” Klaus gestures at everything around them - “all of this is going.”
“Didn’t even make it more than two hours.” Diego shakes his head. “Excellent leadership.”
Klaus slides him a sly glance. “Didn’t you work for a mechanic shop?” It doesn’t matter how dark it is, the mischief in his eyes is easy to see.
If it’s a job you can get with a GED and no experience, Diego has probably had it. He’s worked almost every restaurant position at this point, although he hadn’t finished even one full shift as a host. He’s better at stuff where he doesn’t have to deal with the customers directly, washing windows on skyscrapers, painting houses, and yes, as a mechanic for a couple months.
He nods, and answers the question Klaus is actually asking. “It’s just a loose radiator cap. Looks like a bigger deal than it is, and all you have to do is tighten it up again. Takes two seconds. Literally a child could do it.”
“Well then.” Klaus’ smile is so wide. “You’ll have to excuse me.” He flips his sparkly beaded scarf over his shoulder and goes back to the car, shouting, “Hey fuckos, Henry Ford’s ghost is here and he wants me to tell you that you’re really dumb.”
He flounces past Five and Ben’s annoyed objections and reaches into the engine. Diego wasn’t lying about the fix, it takes two seconds and a child could do it. The engine stops steaming.
The rest of the guys are wearing matching expressions of bewilderment.
Klaus has already climbed back in, so he hangs his head out the window to yell, “Chop chop boys, we don’t want to be late!”
“Oh my god,” Ben says, pinching the bridge of his nose with a long-suffering sigh.
Diego’d never tell Luther this, but it turns out he was right. The Bonding is going to be great.

48. who is your role model? Not to sound cringey and gross, but honestly Mark, Bams, and Jackson, and all foreign idols. Because my dream as of now is to move to Japan, and either study more or get a job and be successful. Amerithaikong traveled to Korea alone at a younger age than i am now, and they made it big! I want my own version of that ya know.
51. how old were you when you found out santa wasn’t real?I honestly don’t remember there being a time that I “found out” about it. Either I knew since i was a baby, i didnt really care, or i slowly figured it out where there wasn’t that “AHAH” moment. I’m thinking it’s number 3, but like i said, i dont remember. Kinda sad, I wish i had a cool story about me finding out :((
61. have you ever peed in the woods? I never really been camping or anything so no i have not lol
79. do you believe in ghosts?I mean... I’m not like Zak Bagans or anything, but if I were alone in the room and I heard something and nothing is there, I think it’s a freaking ghost. Also when I was little, my friend’s house was like super definitely haunted, even her mom thought so. And when we had a sleepover there, my sister video taped the room with a little flip phone, and i SWEAR TO GOD there was a little girls face okay, I SWEAR. Like clear as day. (so kinda like zak bagans...darn it)
80. what is your biggest pet peeve?my parents. lol jk too real.Ummmmm maybe just like not having common courtesy, idrk. Like chewing your food with your mouth open or something. I don’t really have a pet peeve i dont think maybe :/
89. do you like your neighbors? Lol my neighbors to the right are AWFUL. They left trash in the bushes the divides our property, but the bushes are technically IN our property, and they threw away so much shit in it. Like full cans of motor oil, a license plate?, and entire volley net, paper garbage, etc.My neighbors to the left are more civil and nice, and it’s a house for psychologically needy people. It’s a house where many mentally handicapped adults live in and nurses and volunteers help them. Some of them talk to us. We’ve had some crazy moments with a few of them, but they’re all super nice
29. whats the worst thing you have ever done? (YIKES)This is difficult because I’m like an AWFUL person, so idk if this is talking like textbook stuff like sex, drugs, and alcohol (check, check, and check im disgusting) OR like me being mean or just a horrible person to someone else. If SO, I got a juicy story (eh.. kinda)So I have a DIFFERENT neighbor (He’s behind us), and he’s AWFUL. Like a horrible, bitter, conservative, white, man who just hates his life and everything around him. One time on 4th of July, we were having a nice party, and of course we started lighting fireworks. And he comes outside all huffin and puffin and starts yelling at my parentals about how loud it is (its fcking fireworks dude we know) and how late it was (it was barely 10pm and its 4TH OF JULY chill). And he “called the police” on us, but they never showed up, because, first, curfew for fireworks is at 11pm, or, second, he was bluffing. Anyway, this bitter asstit ruined our good time (for a brief moment but it was fine everyone was still having fun), but we were still SALTYSooon we find out that this GUY was running for mayor of our city!!! And he was pretty popular because my conservative white city loves this conservative white dick! And so this is where it gets fun!We went on these forums for our great city (puke) and we acted like these patriotic conservatives, and basically shit talked that ass, and then he lost popularity and lost the mayor role completely :))) He’s now fatter and looks grosser and looks like he still hates himself, arent I just the worst (except i’d never do this to a civil human being)

July 1, 2017 - our first Airbnb
It's June 30, 8 o'clock in the evening. We decided to leave the harbour and their €6.20 a day rate to find an anchorage more beautiful, less noisy and even better, free. A couple days ago we were able to finally chill and do our own exploring since our first Airbnb booking was done. It was amazing! Everything went so well. I will tell you more. But when we were walking we found the sandy beach which is in a basin/crater on the south western corner of Faial, in the centre of old town Horta. It looks out to the ocean and is an absolute sight to see, so we brought the boat over and are now anchored in that beautiful basin, with a small waterfall beside us. A restaurant along the wall playing some awesome music and a great snorkelling area. We went for a dive already and found some beautiful fish. A black one with fluorescent blue spots that glitter in the light. Also the yellow and blue ones that I posted a video of. They are so pretty to look at. We also found a large red star fish. One of those ones with the long arms that are all bendy. It doesn't look like a perfect star and it's dark red. Such a cool thing to see since when we went to BC last year, we didn't see any because of the die off. Look up the starfish disease...it's so sad. We need to save the starfish!! Anyways. We are doing some serious relaxing now. Our next booking is on July 5 so we have a few more days to chill out. So...the Airbnb booking: I found the group (4 guys 1 girl) at Peters Cafe Sport after finally getting some wifi and getting a couple messages with the "leader" of the group. I walked up and couldn't even remember what the guy looked like, but a young tanned guy looked at me as he was walking by and paused. I said "Marius? I'm Courtney". It was an instant hiii how are you. He introduced me to the group: Warren- Australian. Martin - German. Lucrezia - Italian. Abdullah (Abi) - Saudi Arabian and Marius - German. Originally this booking was only 3 and as time got closer Marius messaged me and asked if one of his friends could join. I said ya of course and before he changed the reservation, he had another friend wanting to come. I clearly explained the bed sizes, two twins, a single and a double for me and mike. I also said that they would be sleeping 2, 2 and 1 on twin beds. It would be a "cozy" sleep but Mike and I were totally cool with it. So we added them to the booking and would have 7 people aboard our 38 footer for 4 nights and 5 days. What a great time!!!! First we still had to overhaul the boat. So we took all their luggage and asked them to go grocery shopping and kill some time. They gave us 2 hours where mike and I went into overdrive and cleaned up, packed away and tried to make this boat guest suitable. We had a long 12 day sail where almost all my clothes got salty wet and we pretty much just started putting stuff anywhere where it wouldn't rock around. So by the end we had some serious organizing to do. It all worked out because we finished the last bit and they arrived with bags of fresh groceries. They wanted to leave that evening instead of staying in the harbour for the night so I went with all the passports and checked us out of Horta. It is such an ordeal to check in and out of ports but all went well and I had a crew manifest of 5 extra. We set out motoring that evening and anchored on the eastern corner of Faial island with a great view of the other two islands: Pico and Sao Jorge. Pico island has the highest peak in Portugal - mt Pico. We found a great little spot that was tucked in from the waves. Warren cooked us an amazing pasta dinner with the most delicious garlic bread. It was some fancy bread, stuffed with garlic, parsley and tomato and then toasted in the oven. To die for. While we were sitting on the boat, we saw a small shark come up towards the boat. He stayed for a minute and then left. Marius wanted to jump in so bad. He didn't though. We had a great first night. I pulled all the beds out and made them up once it was getting late. Everyone called a bunk and it was a peaceful sleep except for a little snoring haha. The next morning Mike got up at sunrise to make coffee and as soon as he started moving 4/5 of the guests were up and on deck. The next thing I hear is a big splash. And then another and another. I come out and all 4 of them are in the water...naked! Haha it was hilarious! They really made the most of their trip and I'm so glad we got to be a big part of it. Mike, Martin and I went for a snorkel closer to shore and saw some cool fish. The crackling under the water is so loud from all the crustaceans. It is the coolest sound. You wouldn't believe how blue the water is. You can see everything so clearly it blows my mind. The rocks are huge and full of life with so many little crevices. It freaks me out a tiny bit once in a while, wondering what could be coming out of a dark crack in the rocks. But then I chill and think it will be fine. I will be fine. I can't miss everything else because of that possibility. I made a breakfast scramble for us and then we lifted anchor and set our for Velas, Sao Jorge. On our way across, we came across a dolphin pod who kept crossing our path but were not keen on hanging out with us. Marius and Warren jumped in the water and we dragged him by a rope off the back and tried to get him closer to the pod. They weren't having it and after a few attempts we pulled the guys back onboard. A little while later we came up on a turtle floating on the surface catching some rays. Martin got in and swam up to the turtle. He got pretty close before it swam away. He tried to follow but they are fast swimmers. They all have some barnacle growth in their back or tail. But they are so cute. I love turtles. We finally made it to our destination of Velas Harbour. We were going to go into the marina but it's a small one and the only room they had was alongside another boat. We pulled a u turn and anchored in the harbour but outside the marina. I went ashore and checked in. Free to anchor (awesome!) free water fill up. They had amazing showers at €2 each which isn't terrible. That was my first real shower since June 8 or 9. We had salt water wash, fresh water rinse showers during the voyage and the solar shower gets really warm in the sun. But a really shower with awesome pressure. Me and 4 of the group found a cafe on land and ordered some food. Got in wifi and got to call my mom for the first time. It was good to hear her voice. I do miss her and my sister. Missing family and friends definitely making me feel a little homesick. I wish it was a close trip to come home and visit. But from here it would be a long and expensive flight home and back. It's so amazing here. It is so surreal to be on these islands. Just bouncing one to the other. Velas was a gorgeous little city. Quiet. We happened upon a festival where a band played down the street and they shot fireworks into the sky and there was a long table of bread, wine and cheese maybe. A priest said a prayer and then splashed holy water at the food, blessing it. And then people came up with bags and was given one of each thing. It was so lucky for us to happen upon while we were looking for the grocery store and gas station since the marina didn't have any gasoline, only diesel. We eventually found the grocery store, and found out the gas station was 5 miles up the hill. We ditched the idea of getting gas and stocked up on food for supper. Martin cooked us steaks and we had another awesome meal. We all slept like logs that night and the next day we all went for a snorkel and got some great footage underwater. This was my first wetsuit snorkel which felt so nice. The water is refreshing but it cools you down quite quickly. After we all chilled out and half of us napped we motored in to the marina to fill up on water. We ended up cross blocking between two docks because it was such a small area to maneuver around. We filled up on water, had our showers and took off for Pico island. We made it to a great little curve not far from Sao Roque do Pico but the waves at night had the boat rocking side to side so bad. I kept nudging mike that we should move as he slept soundly. Maybe an hour or two before sunrise he lifted anchor and moved after I had bugged him enough. Sure enough 4/5 of the group had not had a good sleep due to the rocking. Abi slept like a rock and didn't even know we had started the engine and motored to the harbour of Sao Roque. The next morning he was like "what the? This isn't where we went to sleep?" Haha it was pretty funny. I got a few hours of shut eye and the next day we went onshore and had some fabulous pizza at the yacht club of Sao Roque. We had a great little anchorage for the day and went for a great walk along the coast of Pico. We walked to a beautiful windmill with the prettiest blue water coast full of little rocks and tidal pools. After a long walk our guests took a cab up the mountain to get some pictures while mike and I went back to the boat for a serious siesta. We passed out for a while and then I heard "courtney, mike were back". They were yelling from shore for only a minute before I popped my head up and gave them a wave. I rowed the dinghy over and picked them up and we were back on the boat. Supper was a simple sausage, cheese, bread meal with beans and celery, which hit the spot. We had hot chocolate that evening to top it all off. I also ended up pulling out my guitar finally and playing a few songs. It was a great time! The next morning we headed back to Horta so they could get their rental car and explore Faial island for a couple more days in another Airbnb. They had 2 more days and wanted to go diving and up the volcano. We dropped them off around 3 in the afternoon and it was sad goodbyes from all. The next morning we saw Warren, Marius and Martin go by in the diving boat. They were off to do their scuba dive. Marius messaged me and asked if we wanted to do lunch together which we were definitely for doing. We did laundry at the marina (so expensive!!!) that morning and after the dive we met up and went to a great place that served wood fire cooked meals. I got the pork chops and the guys got tuna, wreck fish and mike got some other fish I can't remember. The wreck fish was definitely the best tasting. So juicy and great flavour. Mike's was good but had a very subtle flavour. And the tuna was good too, a little too fishy for me. My porkchops were freaking amazing. Cooked to perfection. We got a few desserts to share, a chocolate mousse, a coconut pudding cake and another cake that tasted like tiramisu. After lots of laughs the restaurant was closing up at 3pm (they reopen at 7pm for dinner) we went to pay and these awesome guys paid for mike and I as a last goodbye. They also stocked me up on some dark chocolate because mike gave away the last few pieces of a bar I had. Oh they were honestly just the best people to have! That was our final goodbye. Mike and I made our way to the beach and they made their way to their rental car to explore the island a little bit more and then fly home the next morning. As I'm typing this up, I hear a loud screech call. I look up and around, don't see anything. Continue typing. Then I hear it again and I look behind me and there's a man flashing a light at us and using this siren call. It's the police. Oh man. They yell we have to go. So mike rows over to them and has a polite conversation where they inform us that it is illegal for us to anchor in our beautiful little spot. Only one boat is allowed to anchor there and we can move 300 m up the coast and anchor there. Haha. So we moved, and now we will have a little bit more of a rocky sleep. We are in some wave action but hopefully it won't be too bad. Tomorrow we will head towards Pico and find a place there. All part of the exploring aspect I guess. Anyways. Airbnb went great! We had an amazing time, they had an amazing time and it just worked out so well. Now Mike and I are taking it all in and relaxing. A few more days until our next booking and we just keep going on and on. Anyways, I hope you enjoy the story and keep reading the ones to come! Lots of love to all! Don't forget to follow us on Instagram (Coconut_seaways) and Facebook at Coconut Seaways for awesome pics and videos. Below is our Airbnb link. I highly recommend you come stay with us! I’m a Michigan Native born and raised that has been living down in Miami. The differences between the people, the lifestyle, the food, and everything is definitely a shock to anyone who is accustomed to having four seasons and easy northern living. Here are some of the things I want to contrast from the 305 to the 248.
#1 In Michigan we have LOTS of Coney Islands. These are small, family owned businesses typically that serve breakfast all day, sometimes Greek fare like Saganaki, and are known mostly for selling Coney Dogs (a hot dog smothered with chili and sprinkled with onion). Back home this is one of my favorite places to casually meet up with friends or just to grab a bite to eat that’s not fast food.
In Miami there is no such thing as Coney Islands, instead there are Cafeterias… small, family owned restaurants that sometimes serve breakfast all day (usually for an extra cost past 11 am). Cafeterias are well known for cranking out colada (aka. rocket fuel, it’s a mix of lots of sugar and several shots of espresso that is poured into tiny cups and sipped or taken like a shot… EXTREMELY POTENT!) and making traditional Cuban style entrees and sandwiches and little on the go foods like empenadas, croquetas, and pastelitos. I have grown to love Cuban food and we frequently go to eat it. My favorite dishes are chicken vaca frita, Cuban style chicken soup, guava pastelitos, yuca frita and tostones. However, I really do miss going to Coney Island and ordering breakfast food whenever I want and not being judged for it.
#2 Michigan has a bottle bill so there is a 10 cent refund on carbonated beverage containers like pop (NOT SODA!), beer, and sparkling waters. Families keep their cans and bottles and take them with them to the grocery store where there are machines that scan and collect the bottles. When you are done, the machine prints out a receipt with a barcode that can be used like cash on your groceries! We also have many other incentives to recycle like coupons for putting our bins out on trash day (they scan a barcode on our recycle bin and then we receive coupons to LOCAL businesses as a thank you for taking part in the recycling program). In Michigan, we are able to recycle a much wider variety of different types of materials, are educated in school on the importance of recycling, and are raised with the “can I recycle this before I throw it in a trash can?” mentality.
Florida has no bottle bill. There is also no incentive to recycle and it doesn’t seem like many people recycle the way we do, perhaps that’s because you can’t recycle many of the materials we are able to in Michigan. Plastic bags is a HUGE one… it is one of the most common things found floating in the ocean here but you cannot put them in your normal recycle bin here! SO. FREAKING. DUMB! Also, they thought it would be an awesome idea to put a landfill right next to Biscayne Bay National Park… what a joke. I guess they really don’t care much about the beautiful ocean down here and the ecosystems of incredible animals here because neither the legislators nor the people do much to make an impact on how wasteful and detrimental their lifestyle is to the environment. SUPER SAD AND FRUSTRATING!
#3 Michigan people are typically down to earth and welcoming. Most of us have family roots that are blue collar and extend back to the days when working in the industries that once boomed downtown in Powerhouse Detroit or farming in our orchards or fields was a way of life. We are a big community and we are really proud of our state, our sports (even the Lions haha), our gorgeous seasons, and our heritage. We are Pure Michigan.
Feet warming by fireplace
Florida is a strange state… Miami is even stranger. Miami is mostly composed of Spanish speakers and the majority have come here from Cuba or South America. This state is fueled a lot on tourism because it has no seasons so people visit for our sunshine, beaches, waves, Walt Disney World, etc. The people who actually live here and grew up here down’t have the laid back attitude you find up in Michigan. Everything is a competition down here. Everyone has a mentality of entitlement and “I have to be better than everyone else”. In connection with this mentality is selfishness. Anytime you talk to someone here it is hard to have a genuine conversation with someone without that person analyzing you in regards to “how can this person benefit me?”. Every friend I have ever made is 103% genuine and kindhearted and humble. We are still friends despite the distance and I wish I had people down here as wonderful as them, ESPECIALLY my girlfriends. Some days, when Bryan leaves to work or hangs out with his friends or goes out fishing,  I am so lonely here and desperate to hang out with another person who understands me and enjoys the things I do that I break down and cry because I feel as if that is impossible… I don’t think there is anyone else here but Bryan that would bother to take the time to want to spend time with me hanging out and getting to know me and who I am. I’ve never been anywhere or lived anywhere where it is SO HARD to make friends as it is here. I am often overcome with anxiety or depression from feeling trapped and alone.
#4 Like I said before Michigan celebrates its four seasons and is EXTREMELY festive for all holidays. We go all out for Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, Saint Patrick’s Day, Fourth of July, EVERYTHING!
Florida has no definitive seasons and I truly miss how wonderful everything looks when the holidays roll around. I also miss being able to wear skinny jeans comfortably with leather riding boots and a sweater on a crisp autumn day or wearing flannel pajama pants and getting cozy by a wood fire in the fireplace watching the snow fall outside (I don’t think there is a single house in Miami with an actual fireplace haha). I seriously miss the foliage and the trails… being able to go running, hiking, or biking and enjoying the scenery without being eaten to death by bugs. There’s so many mosquitoes down here I swear I must have given blood a few times over.
#5 Michigan people know how to drive, we have the motor city after all. Our driving school program is really good and I learned how to drive in the snow so I am a pretty good defensive driver. I also have no tickets and have never been in an accident.
Every day I have to drive in Florida I fear that someone is going to hit me. No one here uses their turn signal EVER! (they may as well just not put them on the cars here) Also, there is no in between aggressive drivers and really slow drivers. Most of the cars in Miami are pretty nice cars too! It’s not uncommon to see many people driving luxury brand cars like Tesla, Maserati, Genesis, Ferrari, etc. Regardless, of what people drive here they still don’t know what they’re doing.
#6 Back in Michigan, and even when I lived in Missouri, we get very hyped up for hockey season. I’m all about the Detroit Red Wings, the Grand Rapids Griffins, and I still have lots of respect and follow the Saint Louis Blues. There’s nothing like getting heated watching a hockey game with your friends and drinking some brews.
Florida… it’s always warm here so many people here have never seen snow, why would they want to play ice hockey? I don’t even think we have an ice hockey arena near our house.
#7 There’s plenty of really cool microbreweries and hole in the wall places to eat and drink and hang out with friends all over Michigan. There’s always something fun or cool to do because there’s community events all the time.
Miami is a big city and not much of a community. I haven’t really felt compelled to see/ experience what the night life is like here mostly based off of what I have seen on social media/heard. Plus, I don’t have any friends to hang out at the bar with. I have a few cool places that I have discovered and enjoy but they aren’t quite like my favorite places in Michigan. I haven’t run a 5K in ages, I can’t remember the last time I saw a movie in the theater, I haven’t gone to a mall to go shopping, I have yet to see a live concert down here… there just isn’t much I do aside from going out fishing, baking homemade goods through our new business- Reel Desserts of Miami, or coaching my kids swimming. I’d like to go to a farmers market sometime, visit a winery, do a half marathon or 5K, and go back down to the Keys to chill.
I’m not entirely sure what it is like to be homesick, but if I had to guess this is it. Someone once told me, “You’ll never find anywhere else in the world quite like the place where you grew up”. They were right. I’ve traveled a bit and I think Michigan might always be home to me even if I don’t picture myself living there or raising a family there. I miss my people more than anything and so I think that it is definitely true that it’s the people that make a place. Realistically, I think I would be much happier here if I had my friends here to hang out with, but I don’t have anyone here. Miami isn’t a bad place, it’s just not MY place. I still belong on a beach somewhere where I can surf and teach lessons or have a bakery coffee shop, or teach yoga. In Miami, I’m not often excited about my life… I feel bored, uninspired and stuck. I’m still searching for what will get me out of that… I want to feel motivated, happy, and like myself again. Lately I have been super emotionally distraught. Typically, I seriously have a massive love/hate relationship with the holidays. Usually because of the anxiety of talking to relative that as stupid stuff I don’t want to discuss like “what are you doing with your life? When are you getting married? Blah, blah, blah, more questions about stupid stuff I️ don’t want to talk about”… but this year I’m honestly so homesick that for the first time in my life I’m super stoked  because Christmas means being reunited and seeing my family and friends again. I couldn’t be ready to head home for the holidays! I miss my mitten and the wonderful people that fill it ❤ See you guys soon!
