is honno self-conscious of their height?

Honno isn’t that much really self-conscious of their height most of the time, just very much aware! From when they were a little kid to teens, it wasn't too bad!

But since moving to Akatsuka Ward, they have managed not to be too bothered by their height much, though they tend to stay home a lot, so that's also a reason.

Of course Honno has other struggles dealing with their height, like buying clothes that fit them, but they manage, but if she’s lucky by getting her stuff tailored, most of the time some of the clothes are shorter, so she kind of just lives with it? Honno fashion is a mix of being mostly comfortable and simple, which they're the most happy wearing!

Though sometimes their height can be a problem with random people commenting about them behind their back or pointing them out and coming up to them out in public.

and sometimes even having their picture taken without their permission, which she tries to ignore because she doesn't like causing a scene and rather continues on with her day not thinking and worrying about that stuff.

Though when Honno does get in a relationship with Ichimatsu and actually starts to hangout with his brothers and gets to know them the matsunos have their own way of watching out for Honno...

Which includes either scaring or chasing off the person, though Honno does appreciate the sentiment....

Hey guys! So me and my friend/co-writer had made the decision that Districtmatsu would be revamped and that the fic would re remade. So heres the new, much better refs I made

Ok so- about the Angel and Devil set, I think it would be how they would handle each situation, which side they would choose, since all situations happened in the anime being directly or indirectly, could it be something like choosing a more rational and kind side or emotional and desperate? (analysis of the sets below)

I think that for Oso and Totty's set, acting impulsively and recklessly, letting negative emotions take over - not that everyone else hasn't acted on emotion but I mean let evil thoughts guide - thinking of Ichi and Jyushi, extremely difficult situations for each one that they could have simply acted in the worst way, but they chose a more "rational" and correct side and decided to contain themselves with that (allowing yourself to live that way and that it's okay to feel that, that not everything is lost or that everything will always be bad), I can't fit Kara and Choro in the same situation, Kara would perhaps be carried away by his thoughts and feelings and seeking comfort in the worst of his emotions and Choro possibly seeking acceptance in himself, his situation and his own thoughts and emotions as a whole. A set where emotions carry everything and show how they can lead to the worst and best of each person.

About the Another One set and I don't have much interpretation- I mean, I always looked for an analysis of this set but never found it, I guess I'll have to struggle to find a meaning this time agh-

Some time ago I saw this with a caption but I can't remember what each one said, but apparently it was the situation that each one is going through. Since I won't remember, I'll try to go by your side, could it be something like- finding your inner self maybe? Anime has always brought up the question of an identity crisis for all of them (some more than others) and the need to differentiate themselves from each other and seek their own identity, who they really are, their real personality and the need to deal with it if it wasn't something to their liking or finally finding comfort in it and themselves. I'm not sure what I'm talking about in this one so I may have gone too far from the original meaning, I think the analysis of the other set may be more correct. Anyway this is my opinion and analysis about these sets I hope it made some sense :)

At first Osomatsu won’t understand, and will fall into a wild stupor when you just hug him.  he'll make a joke like, "Ooohh shit, haha! you really like me, don't you?" but when you kiss him on the cheek, it won't be so easy for him. But when he learns about the traditions of your country, he will laugh awkwardly, scratching his nose with his index finger in a familiar gesture. but he will still be a little awkward to hug you and kiss you on the cheek, after all, he has never had such intimacy with beautiful girls like you.

Karamatsu will be taken by surprise, because he has never hugged strange girls! he will try to regain the look of a confident hot guy, but he will look like a red awkward virgin. Having learned that you are from another country, he will understand and try to get used to your unusual friendliness and will also begin to joyfully greet you with hugs. in fact, he likes this feature about you, yet he rarely gets to hug someone. (PLEASE HUG HIM OFTEN HE DESERVES BETTER)

Choromatsu is the worst option of all. He literally goes crazy with your every touch, which highlights the fact how much of a virgin he is. He will try to stop reacting this way when he learns about your country, but he still finds it difficult to accept your hugs and kisses sometimes.

For Ichimatsu, these would be the most awkward moments of his life. when an attractive girl hugs and kisses him, he feels cornered. he will also try to respond to hugs in a friendly manner, but at first he will most likely avoid you, hide, and simply be afraid. It will take a long time until he starts to get used to it.

for Jyushimatsu it... doesn't matter? Seriously, this guy is definitely up for hugs and friendly kisses himself. Of all the Matsunos, the 5th brother has the most normal reaction. You can tell that he will be delighted when he learns about your traditions and will begin to ask more. From the moment he learns this fact, Jyushimatsu hugs you in greeting more often, and this is the norm for both of you.

Todomatsu immediately knew this fact, after all, from the very first meeting, he scrolled through all your social networks, looked through all your photos and extracted every information from you, as usual, using the cute face of an innocent little devil. He will make the most of this fact, never missing a chance to hug you with an innocent giggle and smell your hair while the rest of his brothers glare at him and want to kill him. I do not advise trusting a Matsuno like Totty. he knows exactly what he's doing.

"Just ask him out already," Choromatsu deadpans.

"HUH-HAHA?" It's a little dramatic but I can't help myself, tripping over my own two feet despite not moving an inch.

"It's getting gross for all of us to watch you two."

"Ah, ah," Jyushimatsu nods uncomfortably in agreement.

"What- What are you talking abouuuut..?" I look away from them, only to realize my gaze has returned to my favorite red hoodie across the fishing spot.

Choro crosses his legs and adjusts his fishing line. "Tch. It's one thing to see you drool over my brother but it's another thing hearing him gush at home like a middle school girl."

"Like how Choromatsu-niisan talks about his idol," Jyushi holds up a sleeve.

"Exactly- hey, wait!"

Across the water, Ichimatsu makes an inaudible comment that makes Osomatsu snicker. If I'm not careful I sometimes wish that smirk was on my mouth, but I can't think like that when he's near, otherwise I'd combust.

Todomatsu says something, too, before Oso looks my way.

My heart flutters.

"Ew, see? You're doing it again, gross. Just go over there. Like right now. I'm serious. I don't wanna deal with it anymore."

"I'm just looking at him!" I whine, forcing myself to turn to the brothers next to me. "Besides, there's no way he'd like me... back..." It's the first explicit time I've verbally hinted of my stupid crush on that guy. When I get no reaction, I realize they genuinely already knew. Have I been that obvious?

"It's bewildering that you are an Osomatsu Girl," Kara speaks up, deep in thought with his chin in his hand. "But less bewildering than it is that he's a Y/N Boy!" He snaps.

"Well! Let's go and ask!" Jyushimatsu takes my hand and pulls me from my chair, dragging me around the venue towards my demise.

"Wait! I'm not ready! I can't do it! JYUSHI-SAN!"

"You're thinking too much about it, ha ha."

The worst part about this entire thing is watching Osomatsu watching me approach, and then freeze up, and then get pushed his way, and then trip into his lap. Scrambling to upright myself I sit on the ground beside him and bow my head.

"Sorry!"

"Falling for me already, Y/N-chan~?"

Ahh. His easygoing nature has always been so nice. I raise and gaze at him longingly. Todomatsu makes some lame excuse to go, and Jyushi drags Ichi along with him, leaving the two of us alone.

"Eh? Eh?? Where is everyone going?" Oso glances around anxiously before standing to follow them, then suddenly stops and gawks at me. Oh, I grabbed his shirt.

"W-Wait," I flush. "Stay with me..?"

I wish he had a more readable expression. I don't know what he's thinking as he stares, and then sits back down. He's thinking, I know that much. Now that I'm in his direct, undivided attention, though, I lose my nerve, and my voice.

"Wanted me all to yourself or something, ha ha?" He looks away and laughs, "Kidding."

"I- Yeah." The linen of my jeans makes my fingers numb. "I... did."

"...You're telling me it's not a joke?" He blurts. "Really? My brothers didn't just- this isn't a prank? Wait, do you like me, Y/N? This means you like me, right?"

"What! No!" I exclaim, then quickly shake my head, "Wait, I mean, yes! It's not a prank, I, I like... you...?" My tone weakens at the end, taking in the way his ears and cheeks redden. This suddenly feels horribly humiliating and unfair. Aren't I the only one being vulnerable here? "And you? Do you like me, too?" I lean forward and put my hands on his knees, which he yelps over.

"Are you kidding? This is- hahahaha- this is like a dream come true! You're hot, y'know? I hold back so many dirty thoughts when you wear your tank tops around us and-"

"Be serious!" I plead, shaking him.

"I am? Oh, you mean, like... say your personality is nice? I think that, too! You're funny, and nice to me, and you get cute when you talk about the things you like, and you're really sexy when you-"

Osomatsu:

- oso lives on garbage island. he mostly keeps to himself since he’s scouring the heaps of trash there for groddy magazines he can use and half empty liquor bottles.

- he’s in an odd state of denial mentally, not having changed in the slightest since the flash and since his other brothers splintered off. sort of like how he was in s1ep24.

- oso is a frequent joy user and an alcoholic.

Karamatsu:

- kara is a traveling guitarist who instead of having an actual guitar, he has a makeshift one instead he made himself. it doesn’t sound very good but it doesn’t matter to him. one of the only things that occupies his time/still makes him happy are writing, telling stories, and playing his janky guitar.

- he orbits around trash island, so he’s still in contact with osomatsu. they visit and check in with each other frequently, mostly karamatsu being the one to make sure oso hasn’t drowned in a pile or garbage.

- kara doesnt take joy but smokes and drinks.

Choromatsu:

- choro is the owner of a bar in stone village. he’s abstinent so it doesn’t thrill him, but since he misses normalcy and how society was structured he uses it as a way to feel normal himself once more. that and to sustain himself.

- because he has to deal with drunken idiots all day, it exhausts him and makes it even harder to own a bar but he trudges on.

- he is still in contact with jyushimatsu.

Ichimatsu:

- ichi is the only one of the brothers whose really actively thriving. he spends his time as a fisherman in muddy waters, occasionally catching fishmen by accident.

- he’s having a wonderful time compared to before the flash since he has no obligation to really talk to anyone else.

- even if he’s taking advantage of the situation to be alone, he is still in contact with todomatsu since totty works at the beehive. he still misses his brothers despite everything. i mean the rest of them miss eachother too but yknow.

Jyushimatsu:

- jyushi is also thriving, but in his own worse way than ichi is. he’s a wrestler in the ewc, but it’s consumed his life and he uses it as a distraction from the present moment.

- he uses joy as a performance enhancement drug when wrestling.

- choromatsu is still in contact with him to keep an eye on him and to make sure he’s not hurting himself with his wrestling or joy habits.

Todomatsu:

- missing the attention he’d get before the flash and the need for a structured life, totty chose to work at the beehive in muddy waters. he’s not a fan of it but all he does really is cradle big weepy men so he deals with it. he appreciates the mags he gets at least.

- totty takes joy to dissociate from their career in post-flash olaithe.

- ichimatsu is still in contact with totty.

a/n: i have no idea what compelled me to write this and there really is no backstory on WHY i decided to write this. i thought it would be cute but idk now LMAO.

vaping and general smoking thoughts long long long

osomatsu: sticks with just cigarettes mostly, antiquated frame of reference where old and comfortable is the best with little change allowed. matsuzou smokes so i think oso just followed by example and liked the relaxed feeling and repetition aspect. he would maybe try a vape under the idea that a buzz is a buzz and a buzz feels good but would find the synthetic taste and experience to be offputting. has many complaints that comically go against audience expectation: 'whats the point! it doesnt even smell bad! it doesnt even make YOU smell bad! it doesnt even make my lungs burn!' etc etc

karamatsu: impossibly weak nicotine tolerance, smoked one cigarette and got extremely sick and took it as an omen. wouldnt vape because sucking on a little rectangle doesnt line up with his idea of coolness. holds cigarettes and cigars in his mouth to get the image of being intimidating and tough without ever lighting them.

choromatsu: WOULD be interested in vaping out of the fear of what smoking is actively doing to his body and what it says about his restraint and responsibility over himself by putting his lungs in danger, plus (kiddish and so, hard to admit) the flavors sound appealing. would sneak hits of tottys vape really obviously in the middle of the house any time hes not around and would over time want to start branching out with different pods, making his own rankings in his head. choro does not see this as lame but instead something akin to taking up wine tasting as a hobby (same level of prestige in his mind but less cost so its even better. hes even better). writes whole entries in a journal bought specifically for this purpose about the notes and undertones and things. to him this is for explorational AND educational purposes. this is the hobby of a discerning mind. this is not him being addicted to drugs. this is not JUST some guy vaping a ton for the sake of vaping its DIFFERENT. the other matsus find the journal and mock choro and his analysis of unicorn 50w by reciting passages back to his while she goes catatonic and silently switches back to cigarettes. never gets any buzz ever again from the insane tolerance build up but will never share this fact or think deeper about what it says about his habits

ichimatsu: explicitly doesnt smoke nor would vape. shit in his lungs is shit in his lungs it all sucks

jyushimatsu: intermittent cigarette smoker just whenever the chance presents itself. in line with him sharing the coffee milk with osomatsu where its probably more about the taste and getting to chug it and spin around than the effects of caffeine, its a vessel for comedy and appearances (for reference humor to specific archetypes or doing physically impossible tricks) and stuff more than an actual enjoyment of nicotine. he probably finishes other peoples but doesnt start his own. also thinking of jyushimatsus fixation with chewing and teething on shit like cybers heads or the lollipops theres no way hes not chomping the shit out of the filters. i think vapes initially would kind of confuse him same as all the others, but hed be reeled in by the idea of super sweet flavors and the comedic potential of making giant clouds. hed be like a fog machine. teeth marks on the vape too nothings safe if its going in there

todomatsu: would vape, specifically orange or strawberry pods. totty also doesnt really get it but it SEEMS like its hip cause there was a lot of buzz about it a couple years ago and he is forever multiple seasons late to any kind of trend so hes more than willing. hitting it around other people makes him feel like his fingers on the pulse of modern culture and not a guy who spends his time gambling and fishing like an old man. confidence booster plus he thinks it makes you smell better to women, especially compared to tobacco smoke, which is another plus (and cuts down on buying gas station perfume 2 in 1 bargain). when not accompanied by people totty means to impress (the other matsus) he would smoke cigarettes. he (like the rest) is a fiend of habit and behaviors set by osomatsu especially are ingrained so its pretty inevitable that he followed along in earlier adult years and then got hooked. but by s3 hed give it up more (riceballs using their electronic vape things further pushing the idea that this is futuristic and impressive and something that they should get with the times on, which totty would feel self conscious about not understanding/already doing + additionally having already made his extreme departure from following osomatsus actions beat for beat as he otherwise was predisposed to in s1) but would have an itch for it that hed mostly only scratch when drunk or making excuses. to compensate for his late switchover and to further distinguish himself as The Sextuplet In The Know Of Things hed rub in their faces how bad tobacco is for your lungs and how hes gonna live way longer and chide them about how they prioritize getting a hit in over living a long time like 'good luck having sex when youre DEAD with TAR LUNGS idiots!!!' when asked how vapes are at all better for your lungs he goes silent and looks away

hello, can you please write headcanons for the Matsuno being asked for a date from someone they never meet? reader admits that they were watching the Matsuno sometimes on their way to work like when osomatsu is fishing or karamtsu hunting karamatsu girls on the bridge

Osomatsu would never in a million years reject anyone who asks him out, but I cannot guarantee this will end in a relationship. I can only see him being with somebody he truly loves and trusts, he’s terrified of committing to a relationship, so ending with a stranger? He may act flirty and all for this date, but he will realize very quickly he will not be able to commit. He won’t mind a date, just don’t expect this to be long lasting, unless you form a close friendship first. In fact, he’s stoked at the idea of a date with a pretty person he doesn’t know, it’s just.. yknow… 🤷‍♀️

Karamatsus flattered, though he may try to act like he doesn’t care he’s very obvious. Especially when he lets out a scream of surprise as his eyes practically fall out. He will be very happy to go on a date with you of course. He will go on as many dates with you as you want, lol. He’s desperate, but you’ll quickly learn he sticks around because he does genuinely like you.

Choromatsu is .. flabbergasted. He’s polite, and says yes, as calmly as he can possible manage but he is literally losing his mind???? He does not understand you AT ALL and has already come to the conclusion you’re insane, but he’s okay with that. He’s an absolute mess the first couple dates, for some reason feeling the need to impress you even though you’ve definitely seen him in all of his glory doing the worst shit possible around his brothers.

Ichimatsu is unsettled. You don’t wanna come on this strongly with him, simply because it makes him incredibly nervous and shy. He tells you he would like to simply hang out a couple times before moving onto a date, if that’s okay with you. He is constantly berated by his brothers for rejected an actual date with a hottie like you but he ignores them. He deals with things at his own pace.

Jyushimatsu says yea!!! With a big blush on his face. He’s really happy you wanna date him! Though he tells you that you should’ve done so sooner so that you could go on a date a lot quicker! He’s all for a baseball date ;D

Todomatsu suddenly thinks you’re the cutest person he’s ever laid his eyes on!! Says yes immediately, and is very polite and lets you choose where and what the date should be. Would love to get to know you better, and the best part is you still like him even though he has the worst brothers in existence!

She's 5 ft 4 in (i hc the matsuno bros to be 5 ft 7 in, so shes 3 inches shorter than them ^^)

Her outfits come in different colors! Her shirt and socks can be either black or white, and her dress can be blue, red, purple, pink, yellow, green, or black! :) (also her shirt can be short sleeve or long sleeve, and her socks can be thigh high, knee high, or ankle high!)

Initially did not intend for her to have connections to the moon (part of her last name 'Tsuki' means moon, the bunny charm on her phone) but in the middle of making this ref i was like 'eh why not'

Dekapan is the one that created her, so hes kind of like her weird dad

She has a big crush on Ichimatsu, but to be honest she has a crush on all of the Matsuno bros hehe

She moved away from Akatsuka to go to college, but moved back to do some of her studying and assignments back home (also she was feeling very homesick)

A running gag is that her major changes each time she talks about it (in the beach episode she says her major is photography, in the super detergent episode she says her major is painting, continues ad nauseam)

Her favorite season is winter! (fall is second, spring is third, summer is fourth)

I'm mainly refering to her with she/her pronouns right now, but she also uses they/them and it/its!

Her relationships with the characters:

Osomatsu: He just loooves hanging out with her lolol whenever they all hang out in a group Osomatsu is the first to try and take a spot next to her. They're usually on the same wavelength, always able to connect with each other, but sometimes Ai can get pretty fed up with whatever antics he tries to pull. He always ends up getting nervous whenever they have one of their deep one-on-one talks.

Karamatsu: Ai loves his "painfulness", but she sometimes has her limits lol. Usually tries to help him write songs, and they like to sing together. They're both very supportive of each other, playing off of each other's energy.

Choromatsu: He tries to be so polite and formal in front of her despite knowing her since they were kids. Ai tries to get him to loosen up, and he's gotten a bit better at being himself in front of her.

Ichimatsu: They're in loooooove, they wanna kiiiiiiss~ ehehe, but besides that they both connect with the fact that they love their quiet time, and also cats. Ai is very understanding and patient, and that both comforts ichimatsu and freaks him the hell out.

Jyushimatsu: Ai cannot keep up with him, but she tries. At least he helps her stay active! They just both like making each other happy, whether that means going out to play baseball, or staying inside and doing some paper craft (with Ichimatsu's assistance)

Todomatsu: Besties :3 they message each other a lot, and Todomatsu is always lowkey asking her out to do things with him. Usually though, either just the two of them go out or Totty's older brothers end up tagging along. They mutually vent to each other sometimes just to let out some frustration, and they trust each other enough to keep secrets between them.

Totoko: Good friends, though they don't always see eye to eye. But thats mostly because of confusion on Ai's part at the antics Totoko tries to pull. She thinks its really cool that Totoko is an idol, and Totoko always insists that Ai could be one too, but they both dont want her to be one for different reasons (Totoko thinks that Ai would be more popular than her, and Ai doesn't like the idea of singing in front of big crowds)

Iyami: She thinks he's skeevy as hell, not much else to say. Always finds a way to get angry at him, even if he hasnt done anything wrong (at the moment)

Chibita: Also good friends, they both admire each other for what they do. She always leaves a big tip whenever she eats at his oden stand to show her appreciation (and to hopefully make up for the sextuplets' tab they have yet to pay)

Matsuyo and Matsuzo: They love her, don't know what their sons did to deserve such a nice friend who is also a girl (kind of). They simultaneously hope that she could maybe start dating one of their sons, and also think that she could do so much better lol Ai is always bringing them gifts and helps around the house, she almost gave them a heart attack when they came home to a squeaky clean kitchen after Ai and the sextuplets had made dinner together for them ^^

Dekapan and Dayon: Her creator and his weird maid/friend/lover? They're basically her weird estranged dads. They barely interact, except for rare moments when she needs emergency maintenance

Osomatsu’s first reaction will be something like.. “..huh.. HUH.. WHAT-“ at first he will think that you are joking, but after he saw Ichimatsu-cat and was literally able to return from Hell, he really doubts . Once he has verified that it is true, he will be genuinely shocked and delighted. the first question he will ask is “so.. does that mean you.. like.. will transform into an anime girl in dresses and bows?” in fact, he is still in shock, having realized how little he knows about his younger siblings. but in fact, he is truly delighted. he would love to see you in a cute dress in the style of Sailor Moon or Madoka.

It’s impossible to explain in words how much Karamatsu admires you. Of course, at first he will deny that he just saw his little sister transform into a magical girl, but he will say something like

“✨✨✨heh.. our world is full of malice and injustice.. and I am happy to be the sensei of the protector of this ci-“

for which you will probably hit him on the head with a magic wand (or whatever you use) in the middle of his ballad.

so, are you going to look me in the eyes and then tell me that Choromatsu won't be crazy about you and won't be your number one fan? this guy is damn proud. he won't be able to believe that his little sister is the one he admired most in the anime. but if that happens, the first thing he'll probably do is faint or do a "SHHEEEEEEEE" pose. don’t be surprised if suddenly he starts begging you to see you in your magic dress.

Ichimatsu... somehow he doesn’t care? even if you are a real cruel witch, he still considers you a close person and favourite little sister. Of course he will be surprised, but doesn’t he himself have skeletons in his closet? Moreover, this guy in the dark alleys transforms into a cat, you are both in the same boat.

It's hard to tell what Jyushimatsu thinks. his first reaction would be cat eyes and a sleeve covering his mouth, his question would be “but can you still play baseball with me?” and if your answer satisfies him, he will return to his usual facial expression and continue to play with you as if nothing had happened. His reaction is the calmest, one might even say strange. The main thing for him is that you can still play with him and spend time.

Todomatsu is FUCKING surprised. It will take him several days to realize what he saw. but when he calms down, he will start crawling towards you, making cute eyes and acting like a cute big brother (don't trust that devil). Every time he sees you, he asks you to take a photo in your magical form so that he can show off you to beautiful girls. (HE'S FUCKING USING YOU, KICK THIS ASSHOLE'S ASS)
