Initially, it was hard for Lillian to keep the nerves from her face, she wished she could just explain this in a way that wouldn’t make Gabby feel less of her. She knew that most of the others already had their doubts about how committed she was to making a positive change, so letting Gabriella (who always seemed to believe in her) down felt so much heavier than with the others somehow. However, after what had happened in Volterra she felt this was the only thing she could do to keep her family safe.

もともとは10年ほど前にTumblrにすごくハマっていて。いろんな人をフォローしたらかっこいい写真や色が洪水のように出てきて、もう自分で絵を描かなくて良いじゃん、ってなったんです。それで何年も画像を集めていって、そこで集まった色のイメージやモチーフ、レンズの距離感など画面構成を抽象化して、いまの感覚にアウトプットしています。画像の持つ情報量というものが作品の影響になっていますね。
