She's settled into this routine of domesticity again as if she had never left it to begin with - sure, some things still took some getting adjusted to - after all, despite the fact she had been living on raw meat for the better part of almost two decades, other humans couldn't survive on that. (with some exceptions.). She supposes this does a justice to herself as well - cooked meat did taste better.
She hears him before he even enters the room - her own abode is so small, she can even hear the change of his breathing as companion awakens. The heavy footsteps as he blinks sleep from his eyes, searching for her since her absence was what had woken him in the first place, she's sure of it - it makes her heart skip a little bit.
His hands snake in between her arms, and she steadies herself - lest she burn herself on the stove. ' Eggs. And some leftover bacon. ' she chimes quietly, brows furrowed in her concentration. She's working very hard on her healthy breakfast for him. ' How did you sleep my love? '
