LU - Downfall AU!

Okay so this is gonna be a very loose and messy rundown of my Downfall AU! Just to see if anyon is interested in me posting it, if not it shall remain as a part of my Discord server solely.

The TLDR; Dink decides to do test runs on other realities to practice killing the boys, and Hylia saves some of the surviving heroes from those worlds, and they join the chain to help fight Dink.

The in-depth version is this:

The shadow, like most creatures/beings, is not perfect. It will make mistakes. Annoying ones at that. How does one avoid mistakes? Practice! Thus, the shadow, in it’s ultimate task to bring chaos, return Ganon, end the Heroes of Courage, yada yada yada, decides to take a few…practice runs.

It goes out and discovers as many alternate realities/universes it can that are as close as possible to this original one. It find a universe in which the heroes are a little bit older, a universe where they are a little bit younger, and a universe where the heroes are heroines—and in that order.

It isnt until the shadow destroys the first two realities and is halfway through the last one, that Hylia understands what’s going on and in her best efforts, whisks away the remain heroes to the original reality in hopes that they will help the boys stop the shadow and prevent history repeating itself.

This AU is about those straggler heroines left over! Of the ones left are an alternate version of Sky, Wars, Hyrule and Twilight. All nicknamed, respectively: Loft, Commander, Scout, and Moon. All with their own little backstories and issues.

Bonus points because upon arrival to the original reality, they were split up.

“this wasn’t the retirement i had in mind...” no, it was safe to say that he stood out here like a sore thumb. din had never seen a planet quite like this one but he was sure it was as strange to him as he must have looked to them. his armour was like his skin, after everything it had taken for him to show he was true to the creed. he couldn’t remove it now. he wouldn’t. “stay close kid.” it wasn’t as if grogu had a choice being in din’s arm, subconsciously holding him closer as he said it though. “these people may not look like much but this place could be dangerous.” he didn’t mean anything by it, he was used to assessing threats and these people looked busier with each other than they were with them. still, he was out of his depth with knowledge here so it didn’t hurt to be cautious. “excuse me?” approaching the stranger. “i don’t suppose you know how to navigate this. do you?” holding up a paper map of london, seeing as he wasn’t really aware of the technology here or how it could be used. to know how to navigate was part of being a mandalorian but this was all new to him. he was still working out the logistics of how things worked here. “i’m trying to find this place.” pointing to the mcdonalds on the map which naturally made grogu chirp up. “the little one’s hungry. i hear this place does food?” @walstarterblog​
