i wanna break down the lich side of the argument bc it's fascinating to me (everything about this skeleton man is fascinating in a...i am slightly concerned but i feel sorry for you kind of way), but ngl this made me laugh.

like, no. he's not. he's never been great holding stuff in because his face and voice say everything. his body language says everything. world's worst liar, world's worst wicked grace player, i bet he sucks at both even without a face because his fidgeting would give him away. he doesn't even have eyes and he still can't make eye contact if he's saying something that's emotionally fraught in any way.

emmrich volkarin does not brood. he fidgets and waffles and gets twitchy and flitters about until whatever it is just spills out anyway because he feels things too much to contain it.
