The hotel room she was in was quiet.
She sat cross-legged on the bed in a dark hotel room that mirrored his, only three floors below, making sure he couldn’t see her surroundings. Her phone was propped up against a pillow, and Max’s face filled the screen, his hair still damp from the shower, tousled and messy. He looked worn-out but managed a small, tired smile just for her.
"I’m sorry, Max. I really tried to get time off, but there was just… no way," she said, the fib slipping from her lips with surprising ease. "I wanted to be there with you. Especially now."
Max exhaled, leaning back against his headboard. “I know. It’s alright.” His voice softened. “I just miss you, is all. It’s been a rough couple of weeks.”
She nodded, biting the inside of her cheek, wishing she could reach through the screen and wrap her arms around him. "You’ll get through it, though. You always do."
"Doesn’t feel that way." He laughed, but it was brittle around the edges. “I feel like I’m letting everyone down. The team, the fans… you.” His eyes searched the screen, as if he might find a solution hidden somewhere in her gaze.
"Never me." She leaned closer, her face so near to the camera that she could see her reflection in his eyes. "I’m so proud of you, Max. Always. No matter what."
For a moment, he just looked at her, his expression softening, and the tension she’d seen in his face for days seemed to melt, just a little. "I wish you were here," he murmured. "I swear, you’re the only thing that keeps me sane sometimes."
She swallowed, feeling her heart pull toward him with a force that was hard to resist. "Soon, I’ll be back with you. Just… hold on a bit longer, okay?”
She gazed at his face on the screen, her heart swelling as she watched the way his eyes softened every time he looked at her. She knew he was tired and worn down, but in this moment, he looked at peace.
"I love you, Max," she whispered, her voice barely above a breath.
He closed his eyes, letting the words wash over him, and when he opened them again, there was a warmth there that seemed to cut through the miles between them. "I love you, too," he replied, a little smile tugging at the corner of his mouth. "More than you know."
She tucked her hair behind her ear, feeling her cheeks flush, and nodded. "Get some sleep, alright? Big day tomorrow."
He grinned. "Yeah, yeah. You, too. Dream about me, okay?"
She laughed, rolling her eyes, but her heart skipped all the same. "Always. Goodnight, Max."
"Goodnight, love."
With a final smile, she ended the call, letting the screen go dark as she leaned back into the pillows, her heart fluttering with anticipation. She’d hardly been able to sleep on the plane ride here, and she could already tell tonight would be the same.
Still, the thought of finally seeing him in person tomorrow kept her too giddy to care. She’d surprise him at the track, slipping through the garage just as he arrived, or maybe even at breakfast if she could manage it without spoiling the surprise. Her mind spun with ideas, each more elaborate than the last, but all she really wanted was to see his face light up when he realised she was there.
Pulling the covers up to her chin, she let her eyes drift closed, replaying the moment over and over in her mind, savouring the thought of his reaction. She loved him fiercely, and she knew that being here—no matter how much of a secret she’d had to make it—was exactly where she was supposed to be.
As she finally began to drift off, her last thought was simple but bright, shining like a promise: Tomorrow, he’ll know.
And while she was glad she held onto the secret.
The following morning she wished she’d told him earlier.
She woke to the faint glow of her phone on the nightstand, her morning alarm. Blinking herself awake, she squinted at the screen and saw Max’s name, followed by the time—5:02 a.m.
Heading to the track early today. Miss you already, wish you were here.
She smiled, feeling that familiar warmth spreading through her chest. But then her heart sank a little. She’d been hoping to catch him in the hotel this morning, maybe surprise him over breakfast. Now, with him already gone, she'd have to adjust her plans.
Throwing back the covers, she got up and went to the window. Rain streaked down the glass in thick, heavy drops, and the sky was a murky grey. The weather was only supposed to get worse throughout the day; she knew that’d make things complicated, especially for an outdoor track. She had no clue if her surprise would even be worth the stress of navigating the drenched, crowded paddock.
After a moment’s hesitation, she tapped her phone, scrolling through her contacts until she reached the name she wanted. She dialled, and after a few rings, Max’s assistant, Sophie, picked up.
“Hey!” Sophie greeted, sounding pleasantly surprised. “What’s up? Did you make it in?”
“Yes, I’m here!” she whispered, unable to contain her excitement. “I wanted to surprise him before he heads out on track, but with this rain… do you think I should even bother?”
Sophie sighed sympathetically. “Honestly, it’s a mess out here. They’re saying the rain’s going to be even heavier by the time qualifying starts. He’ll be in back-to-back meetings until then, and I’d hate for you to sit in the rain, just to get a few minutes with him.”
She nodded, glancing out the window at the sheets of rain. “So you think I should wait?”
“I’d say hold off until right before the race,” Sophie replied. “He’ll have a short break, and I think he’d love the surprise then. Plus, everyone’s less frantic between qualifying and race prep.”
“Good point,” she agreed, a little disappointed but knowing Sophie was right. The track on a rainy race day was chaos, and if she could avoid it until the right moment, she’d have a better chance of actually spending time with him. “Thanks, Sophie. Let me know if anything changes?”
“Will do! He’ll be so happy to see you,” Sophie said warmly. “Hang tight, okay?”
As she hung up, she couldn’t help but feel a twinge of excitement, knowing the surprise would be even more perfect with the wait. So she ordered herself a coffee, sat by the window, and watched the rain pour down, imagining the look on Max’s face when he’d finally see her just before the most important race of the weekend.
The rain hadn’t let up by the time she arrived at the track, the skies dark and moody, the air thick with humidity. She’d navigated her way through security and weaving lines of drenched fans, her heart racing as she got closer to Max’s garage. But by the time she finally made it, he was already in the car, helmet on, visor down, his focus entirely on the track ahead.
Her heart sank a little as she scanned the bustling garage, hoping for some last chance to catch his eye. But he was already strapped in, a crew member leaning in to give him a final check before he rolled out. She spotted Sophie in the corner, scribbling something down on a clipboard, and made her way over to her.
“Hey,” she whispered, feeling the dampness of the rain still clinging to her hair and clothes. “I… I just missed him, didn’t I?”
Sophie looked up and gave her a sympathetic smile. “Yeah, he was swamped the moment he got here. They barely had time to get him settled with all the delays.” She gestured to the grid display above them, where Max’s name glowed beside the stark “P17” position. “Rough start, but he’ll be glad to know you’re here.”
She nodded, feeling a pang as she glanced at his car just as it rumbled to life. His fingers flexed on the steering wheel, even from a distance she could see the tension there. She let out a breath, feeling a swell of pride and worry all at once. “Well, I’ll be here watching, then.”
Sophie handed her a headset, which she slipped on just in time to hear his engineer’s voice crackle through with the first instructions as they prepared for the start. The rain was relentless, turning the track into a slick, treacherous maze, and she felt her stomach twist as the cars peeled out onto the track for the formation lap. Max’s car trailed near the back, but she knew he’d fight, as he always did, with a ferocity she both admired and feared in moments like this.
The race began, a chaotic blur of spray and metal, the cars kicking up rooster tails of water, visibility nearly zero as they fought for position. She gripped the edge of her seat as the laps ticked by, heart pounding with every close call. It quickly became clear that the conditions were only worsening, drivers struggling to keep their cars on track, a few even skidding off into barriers with loud, bone-jarring crashes. Her hands tightened around the headset as Max navigate his way forward, battling his way to P10, then P6.
And then, just when the tension seemed to reach its peak, there was a deafening crash, followed by a sudden hush as the red flag went up, halting the race.
Her breath caught in her throat. The screen above replayed the incident—a skidding into the barrier that had caused an emergency stop. The seconds felt like hours as she waited, desperately searching for a glimpse of his car on the feed. Finally, there it was, intact, safe. Relief flooded her, and she felt her shoulders sag.
The race restarted after the delay, and she watched in awe as Max took advantage of the reshuffled positions and tire changes, surging forward with a newfound intensity. Lap by lap, he clawed his way through the field, passing car after car with a precision that made her heart race. It was as if he’d transformed, harnessing every ounce of his frustration from the last few races, channelling it into something extraordinary.
The garage erupted in cheers as he moved into P3, then P1. She stared at the screen, hardly daring to blink, her heart racing as he crossed the finish line in first place, drenched in rain and glory.
She could hardly believe it. From P17 to P1. He’d done it.
Forgetting herself, she laughed, a sound of pure joy, her heart swelling as she watched him slow down, the victory finally sinking in. She couldn't wait to see his face when he finally realised she was here, to be the first person he’d see when he stepped out of that car, soaked and grinning, finally at the top.
Ripping her headset off, she followed the crew as they ran out to parc fermé, her heart racing as fast as the roar of the crowd. The team, buzzing with excitement, parted slightly as she joined them, nudging her to the front so she’d be the first face he saw. She could barely breathe as she caught sight of Max’s car, now still, the rain glistening on its blue-and-red bodywork.
With all the force he had he climbed out, pulling off his helmet to reveal damp, messy hair and a face lit up with exhilaration and disbelief. For a moment, he simply stood there, taking in the shouts of the crowd and the blinding flashes of cameras. And then, his gaze landed on her.
His eyes widened, his exhaustion and surprise giving way to pure joy. Without hesitation, he broke into a run, crossing the slick tarmac with the kind of speed and determination that made her heart leap. She barely had a second to react before he wrapped her in his arms, his lips crashing against hers as he pulled her close, his hands pressed firmly against her back, as if he still couldn’t believe she was real.
“You came,” he murmured breathlessly, pulling back just enough to look at her, his face filled with awe and happiness.
“I wouldn’t have missed it for the world,” she replied, her voice trembling with emotion, brushing a wet strand of hair from his face.
He smiled, a bright, unguarded smile that melted her heart. “God, I needed this. I needed you.”
And then he kissed her again, a kiss filled with all the missed moments and the words they hadn’t been able to say, the thrill of his victory mingling with the fierce love they shared. She felt the rain soak through her clothes, the crowd and the noise around them fading as they held each other, his arms wrapping around her as if he could protect her from the rest of the world.
“I still can’t believe it,” he whispered against her lips, his forehead resting against hers, his hand gently brushing her cheek. “P1. And you’re here.”
She laughed softly, her eyes shining. “You deserve it, Max. I knew you could do it.”
He held her close, a triumphant laugh bubbling from his chest as he buried his face in her neck, and they stood there in the pouring rain, lost in each other, savouring the victory and this long-awaited moment they both knew they’d never forget.
As the noise of the cheering crew and fans started to swell around them, Max pulled back slightly, brushing his thumb across her cheek, his gaze lingering on her face as if he was trying to commit every detail to memory.
“I have to go,” he said softly, his voice tinged with regret. “The interviews, cool-down room, podium… but wait for me? I’ll meet you in my driver’s room as soon as I can.”
She nodded, understanding but already missing the warmth of his arms. “I’ll be waiting. Go,” she whispered, giving him a small smile. “Enjoy every second—you deserve it.”
He pressed one last, lingering kiss to her forehead, then turned and jogged off to join the waiting crew, helmet in hand, while she stayed rooted to her spot, watching him disappear into the crowd. Her heart swelled with pride as she trailed after the team to watch his interviews, his beaming, breathless face glowing with pride and energy as he spoke about the gruelling conditions and the unbelievable climb from P17 to P1.
Then came the cool-down room, where she watched from the sidelines as he bantered with the other drivers, sharing exhausted smiles and congratulatory claps on the back, the weight of his achievement settling in as he finally let himself relax a little. She couldn’t help but smile, feeling as though she could burst with joy just watching him, his eyes sparking with energy even as he looked ready to collapse from exhaustion.
And finally, the podium. She felt the crowd’s excitement echo through her as she looked up to see him standing tall, drenched from head to toe, a bottle of champagne in hand. When he raised it in victory, the crowd erupted, and she joined them, cheering at the top of her lungs as he sprayed champagne with abandon, laughing as he celebrated with the other drivers. His eyes swept over the crowd, and when they found hers, he gave a subtle nod, a silent promise that he’d be back with her soon.
After the podium, she made her way to his driver’s room, her heart fluttering as she paced the small space, the thrill of the day lingering in every fibre of her being. And then, finally, the door swung open, and there he was.
He looked completely worn out, his hair still damp and messy, his fireproof undersuit clinging to his skin. But his smile was bright, and his eyes lit up the moment he saw her.
Without a word, he crossed the room, pulling her into his arms, his lips finding hers in a soft, exhausted kiss. She melted into him, her arms wrapping around his neck as he held her close, the adrenaline and joy from his victory radiating between them.
“I don’t think I’ve ever been this happy,” he whispered against her ear, his voice low and hoarse. “Winning today… and having you here with me. It’s everything.”
She brushed a strand of damp hair from his face, smiling as she traced her fingers along his cheek. “You did it, Max. I’m so proud of you.”
He took her hand, pressing it to his heart, his eyes never leaving hers. “None of it would mean anything without you,” he said quietly, his voice steady.
She felt her eyes sting with tears, overwhelmed by the depth of his words. “I’m here,” she whispered, her voice thick with emotion. “I’ll always be here.”
They stayed like that for a long moment, wrapped up in each other, the rest of the world slipping away. He stroked her hair, pressing gentle kisses to her forehead, her cheeks, her lips, as if savouring each moment.
“Let’s get out of here,” he finally murmured, his voice warm and soft, “celebrate somewhere a little less chaotic.”
She laughed, nodding. “Anywhere, as long as it’s with you.”
They headed back to his hotel, hand in hand, a peaceful quiet settling over them as they left the track behind. Once in the privacy of his suite, he gave her a lingering kiss, then smiled, nodding toward the bathroom. “Give me a few minutes to wash off all the champagne and… probably half the track dust,” he said with a laugh.
She grinned, watching as he disappeared into the bathroom, the sound of running water filling the suite a moment later. While he showered, she took the opportunity to pack up her things from her own room, gathering her scattered belongings quickly. The thrill of being close, of finally sharing a space for the night, filled her with a warmth that had nothing to do with the tropical heat outside.
By the time she returned, he was out of the shower, towelling off his damp hair, his expression softening as he took in the sight of her standing there with her things. Without a word, he crossed the room and took her bags from her hands, setting them by the closet as he gave her a smile that made her heart skip.
Once they’d both changed into fresh clothes—she’d opted for a simple dress, and he in casual jeans and a loose shirt—they slipped out of the hotel through a side exit, making their way to a tiny, tucked-away Brazilian restaurant that had been recommended. The place was hidden, small enough to be missed by the crowds, with soft, low lighting that created an intimate, cosy atmosphere. A few locals lingered around tables, but they paid little attention to the couple as they took a corner table in the back.
They ordered caipirinhas and he reached across the table to hold her hand, his fingers tracing gentle circles on her skin as they laughed over silly little things, shared stories from the past few weeks, and spoke of things beyond racing, beyond work, just slipping back into the easy flow they always shared. The food was rich and delicious—small plates of feijoada, grilled meats, and pão de queijo—everything flavorful and homey.
He leaned across the table, his eyes warm and filled with that familiar spark, as he watched her speak, clearly savouring every moment. “You know,” he said softly, “I think this is the best victory celebration I’ve ever had.”
She squeezed his hand, smiling back at him. “Same here. I missed just… being with you like this.”
They stayed until the restaurant closed, lingering over the last bites of dessert, letting the night stretch out as long as possible. Eventually, they headed back to the hotel, the city streets now quiet and still beneath the soft hum of streetlights.
Once back in his room, Max changed into a pair of soft pyjama bottoms, leaving his chest bare, his skin still warm from the shower. She slipped into one of his t-shirts, the fabric soft and oversized, the scent of him comforting and familiar. When she stepped out the bathroom, he was already waiting for her by the bed, his gaze softening as he took her in, a gentle smile curving on his lips.
Without a word, he reached for her, lacing his fingers through hers as he pulled her close, guiding her to the bed. She sank into the mattress beside him, and he wrapped an arm around her, drawing her against his chest, his fingertips trailing absently over her shoulder. She nestled into him, feeling his warmth seep through her, a cosy silence wrapping around them.
They lay there, tangled together, her head tucked beneath his chin as he gently traced circles on her back, his breath even and steady. He tilted her chin up, his eyes searching hers for a quiet moment before he leaned down, capturing her lips in a soft, lingering kiss, filled with a tenderness that said everything words couldn’t. She kissed him back just as gently, savouring the intimacy of being close like this, the world beyond these walls feeling miles away.
When the kiss ended, he pressed his forehead to hers, a soft sigh escaping as he held her close, one hand settling over hers, fingers intertwined. They stayed that way, her head resting against his heartbeat, lulled by the steady rhythm.
Finally, they drifted off, still tangled in each other’s arms, wrapped up in the warmth and comfort of just being together. As the night settled around them, Max couldn’t help but smile, holding her a little closer as he slipped into sleep, his heart full and light.
Max couldn’t have wished for a better weekend.
the end.

Bye bye binky!!
Pairing: Lando Norris x Mom!Fem! Reader
Warnings: none I guess and English is not my first language
Summary: You and Lando are trying to get rid of your daughter’s binky.
Tumblr media
The Norris household was in constant motion as always. Lyla, at two years old, was a curious and energetic child, always running from one side to the other, dragging her toys and, of course, her inseparable pacifier.
For Lando and me, the mission to get her to stop using the pacifier was becoming a saga.
Lando was sitting at the kitchen table, looking pensively at a list of methods we had thought of.
“What else can we try? It seems like we’ve done everything.”
I stopped washing the dishes and sighed, looking at him.
“I think we’ve tried all the possible advice. Let’s review?” Lando picked up the list and started reading.
“First, we tried the pacifier fairy approach.”
The Pacifier Fairy
One quiet night, Lyla was getting ready for bed. I sat next to her with a storybook.
“Lyla, did you know there’s a pacifier fairy?” I said excitedly as she looked at me curiously.
“A pacifier fairy?”
“Yes,” I replied. “She visits big boys and girls and takes their pacifiers to babies who need them. In return, she leaves a special gift.”
Lyla’s eyes sparkled. “A gift?”
“That’s right. How about leaving your pacifier under the pillow tonight?”
Lyla hesitated but ended up placing the pacifier under the pillow. The next morning, she found a small new toy in place of the pacifier, but the magic didn’t last. When night came, Lyla cried for the pacifier, and Lando and I ended up giving it back to her.
The Reward Calendar
The second attempt involved a colorful calendar on the fridge. Each day Lyla went without the pacifier, she would get a star sticker. After a week, she would get a big prize.
“Lyla, look how many stars you’ve already earned!” Lando said, pointing to the calendar.
Lyla smiled proudly.
“Wow, and o get a prize?”
“Yes, if you keep it up!” I replied, excited.
But halfway through the week, Lyla had a crying fit so intense that we had to give in again, giving her the pacifier.
The Substitution
Trying a new method, we decided to buy several toys and stuffed animals to offer as new comfort items for her.
“Look, Lyla, a new teddy bear!” I said, showing the brown teddy bear.
Lyla took the teddy bear but quickly dropped it and went back to the pacifier.
“I want my binky, Mommy.”
We tried various different toys, but nothing seemed to offer the same comfort as the pacifier for Lyla.
The Gradual Approach
We decided to adopt a gradual approach.
“Let’s limit the use of the pacifier to just bedtime,” suggested Lando.
“Good idea,” I agreed. “That way, she can get used to it slowly.”
During the day, we put the pacifier away and distracted Lyla with games and activities. However, each night, the separation was met with tears and whining. Once again, we found ourselves giving the pacifier to calm her down.
The Distraction Tactic
The last attempt involved constant distractions. Whenever Lyla asked for the pacifier, we offered some fun activity.
“Let’s paint a picture, Lyla?” I suggested, holding a set of watercolors.
For a while, this worked, but Lyla soon began to insist on the pacifier, even in the middle of activities.
Lando sighed as he finished reading the list.
“None of this worked.”
I approached him, placing my hand on Lando’s shoulder.
“I think it’s time to try something new. Something that will really make Lyla want to say goodbye to the pacifier on her own.”
And that’s how we came up with the balloon idea. The hope was that by turning the farewell into a celebration, Lyla would better accept the change. With a final sigh of determination, Lando and I prepared for the final attempt.
“Tomorrow morning I’ll go out to buy donuts for breakfast, which she loves, and the balloon. Then we’ll do it,” Lando said, and I agreed, finishing organizing the kitchen so we could go to bed.
The morning sun lit up our house, and the day was perfect for a celebration. Lando and I were sitting on the floor, surrounded by toys and building blocks. Lyla was beside us, firmly holding her pacifier. We had already planned everything. I arranged the donuts on a tray so that when she let go and the pacifier was gone, she would have something she loved to eat and perhaps help her forget.
“Lyla, look!” Lando said, kneeling beside our daughter. “How about we send your binky to the sky? So it can travel around and see new places.”
Lyla looked at the balloon and then at the pacifier, holding it even tighter.
“Daddy, I like my binky.”
“I know, sweetheart,” Lando replied softly, stroking Lyla’s hair. “But you’re a big girl now. And big girls don’t need a binky, right? Besides, it’ll be so much fun to watch the balloon fly!”
Lyla hesitated, but the idea of seeing the balloon rise seemed interesting. Finally, she let go of the pacifier and allowed Lando to tie it to the balloon. Lando handed the balloon to Lyla and smiled.
“Ready to let go, Lyla?” Lyla held the balloon with both hands, her eyes fixed on it.
“Ready.”
With one last look of hesitation, she let go of the balloon. We watched as it slowly rose higher and higher into the blue sky. For a moment, everything seemed fine, but then Lyla looked like she was about to cry—we could see her lips trembling. But then Lando and I started jumping and shouting with joy.
“Woohoo! Bye-bye, binky!” shouted Lando, raising his arms.
“You did it, Lyla! How amazing!” I shouted, clapping.
Lyla looked at her parents, surprised by their reaction. Slowly, a smile began to form on her face. She stood up and started jumping too, imitating her parents.
“Woohoo! Bye-bye, binky!” she repeated, laughing.
We continued to jump and laugh together, our joy spreading to Lyla. Gradually, she forgot about the pacifier and focused on the fun of the moment.
After a few minutes, we stopped to catch our breath, still laughing. Lando picked Lyla up and hugged her.
“I’m so proud of you, Lyla. You are very brave.” I joined the hug, kissing Lyla’s forehead.
“You did something amazing today, sweetheart. We are very happy.”
Lyla smiled, feeling proud.
“Does this mean I’m a big girl now?”
“Yes, you are,” Lando agreed, stroking her head.
After a few minutes, we went inside to eat the donuts and celebrate that we had finally said goodbye to the pacifier.

Feels Like I'll Die Without You Part 2 | Kwon Ji-yong (G-Dragon)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Summary: You can’t get Jiyong off your mind, no matter how hard you try. When he invites you to his album release you decide to go despite your best judgment. Word Count: 1.8k Warnings: cheating, unprotected sex. Author’s Note: Minors please don’t interact. This is part two of Feels Like I’ll Die Without You. There’s probably going to be more parts to this, I hope you enjoy this part!
PART ONE
Tumblr media
Leaving the party had been one of the hardest things you’d ever done. It should’ve been easy, you had someone waiting for you at home. Your ex boyfriend whom you hadn’t thought about in twelve years shouldn’t be in your head still and yet here you were in your hotel, replaying the kiss in your mind.
There was no reason for you to even be thinking about that kiss. You should’ve never allowed yourself the opportunity to be alone with him. Clearly some habits were hard to break no matter how long ago you last had them. You picked up your phone, scrolling through the contacts until you got to Jiyong’s name. A name you should’ve deleted twelve years ago when he walked out of your Los Angeles apartment. Your finger hovered over the text icon, biting down on your lip. You shouldn’t.
Jiyong?
The one and only.  He replied back instantly as if he’d been waiting for your text.
You would keep the same number.
So did you.
You rolled your eyes, leaning back against the headboard in your hotel suite.
I can’t stop thinking about you. Can I see you before I fly home?
I have an album release tomorrow, if you want to come by. I can’t stop thinking about you either.
Send me the details, I’ll be there.
You read his words over and over, a small smile on your lips. This was wrong but you’d already cheated. What was the harm in seeing him one more time before you never saw him again?  You knew in the back of your mind if you went to his album release there was no going back. You’d left tonight for a reason, because you knew if you hadn’t you would’ve had him on that table as many times as you could go until you got caught.
“What’s got you so happy?” Youngbae’s voice rang out. Jiyong tried to hide his phone but Youngbae glanced at the contact first.
“Nothing.” He shrugged, sliding the phone into his pocket.
“Playing a dangerous game, Ji.” Youngbae warned before patting his friend on the back. “I’ll see you tomorrow?” Jiyong nodded and Youngbae took off.
Jiyong knew there wasn’t going to be a happy ending for him, talking to you. He couldn’t help it though. He’d known the minute he’d walked out of your apartment all those years ago he’d never be able to get over you. If you wanted to see him again, he wasn’t going to say no. Pulling his phone back out of his pocket, he sent you the details for the album release, waved goodbye to the few stragglers at the party and headed home.
You looked down as your phone buzzed again, rolling your eyes at the party invite. Dress code: A touch of Jiyong. You highly doubted you had clashing patterns in your suitcase, but you did have a scarf. You could work with that.
The next evening rolled around fast, almost too fast and as you put the final touches on your outfit you realized this was the first album release you’d both been at together since yours. Maybe you shouldn’t go. As much as you wanted to convince yourself that this was just a friendly meeting, you knew the truth. If he dragged you away again you weren’t going to be strong enough to say no.  Tying the scarf around your neck you grabbed your bag and headed to your car. You’d regret this in the morning.
The party was in full swing when you showed up, sneaking in a bag door. The last thing you needed was for anyone to spot you going to a G-Dragon party. The media would have a field day with it and this needed to be kept secret. Your eyes wandered around the room spotting all the familiar faces before landing on Jiyong. Your breath catching in your throat as his eyes locked on yours. It wasn’t fair for anyone to look that good. Especially in that stupid hat. Was it glued to his head?
He smirked at you, eyebrows raised as he took a sip from his drink. This was his night and he was going to make you do the work. You raised your head high as you made your way into the party, your eyes staying locked on his as you walked across the room.
“Hi.”
“Hello.” The smirk a permanent fixture on his face.
You wanted to smack it off his face but instead you let your eyes trail his body, another perfectly fit suit, as if he was trying to kill you.
“I can’t leave early so you’re going to have to stop looking at me like that.” His voice broke your thoughts and you glared up at him.
“I’m not looking at you like anything.” He snorted at your words.
“Okay. Let’s get you a drink.” You rolled your eyes at him but followed him further into the room, grabbing a drink from the bar.
As you took a sip you allowed yourself a second to take in your surroundings. The party was very him and you couldn’t help but feel proud of how he’d turned his life around. The Jiyong you knew would have long been drunk by now.
“You good for a second? Gotta go introduce the album.” You nodded and he walked off.
You watched intently as he introduced the album and thanked all the usual people for their support over his hiatus. The cheers of his friends and team filled the room and you couldn’t help but grin at him as the familiar tune of the first track started playing. He made his way over to you, you both standing in comfortable silence as the songs played on.
“This one is about you.” He whispered in your ear as the fifth song started playing.
You turned to him wide eyed. He was still writing songs about you? You’d had your suspicions on a few over the years but the outright confirmation made your heart leap out of your chest. He looked down at you, the smirk replaced by something else. Love, maybe? Definitely lust. Before you could respond he shushed you and pointed to his ear as if telling you to just listen.
“This one too.” He smirked as the last track started. Hearing the words you raised a brow at him. He definitely knew what game he was playing.
As the song came to an end and everyone cheered again, you looked over as Jiyong. The music replaced with the playlist he’d approved for the evening and you slid your hand into his. His brow shot up in surprise. As if picking up the hint, Jiyong led you through the party and to the empty bathroom, locking the door after he led you inside.
Your lips were on his in an instant, picking up right where you’d left off the night before. Jiyong’s hands trailed from your arms to your waist and finally to your legs before he lifted you up. Your legs wrapped around him and he leaned you against the wall, his lips never leaving yours. Your dress hiked up your thighs and you rocked your hips against him.
Jiyong let out a low growl, breaking the kiss to leave a trail of kisses along your jaw. He moved a hand up to untie your scarf, throwing it to the ground and you made quick work of unbuttoning his shirt, pushing it down his arms. He shrugged out of it one arm at a time, doing his best to keep you steady against the wall as your hips grinned against him again.
His hand trailed down your body, his hand resting by your underwear and you rocked your hip into his hand. He let out another low groan, his lips finding their way back yours as his hand pushed brushed against you.
“Are you sure?” He mumbled against your lips and nodded as your fingers ran down his chest, stopping at his belt. He pushed your underwear aside and slipped a finger inside.
“Fuck, baby. You’re so wet for me.” He mumbled as he slid another finger in, rubbing against your wet center.
Your hips rocked in motion with his fingers and you undid his belt, pushing his pants and boxers down, his hard cock springing free. Your hand wrapped around his shaft, pumping slowly.
“I need you.” You whispered against his lips. Jiyong’s eyes shot open as he removed his hand from inside you.
Your eyes met and he pushed your hand away from you before positioning himself before entering you. He entered you slowly, filling you up, your walls hugging around him tightly and you both let out a groan.  He began thrusting in and out of you slowly, your head falling back to rest on the wall as you let out a moan.
Your hips rolled against him and that was all he needed to pick up the pace. This needed to be quick, before you got caught and you leaned your head forward capturing his lips again. Your mouths swallowed each other's moans as Jiyong thrust in and out of you.
“Ji, I’m so close.” You whispered and he let out a moan as he gave two more hard thrusts.
Everything went hazy and you arched your back just slightly allowing him to hit your g spot with ease. Your eyes squeezed shut as you climaxed, your head falling back again. Jiyong let out a groan as he reached his own orgasm, unloading inside of you. You both stayed pressed against each other, him inside of you, your legs around his as you caught your breath. You leaned in giving him a gentle kiss before he pulled out and you slid down him, landing on your feet.
“We should get back out there.” You looked around for your scarf, tying it back around your neck.
Jiyong nodded, zipping up his pants before putting his shirt back on. You reached up to smooth your hair back down and gave him a small smile.
“You’re leaving, huh?”
“I should. The album is great though.” Jiyong smiled at your words, nodding his head.
“Yeah, thanks.” He paused, his eyes finding yours. “I’m guessing this is the last time I’ll see you?”
“I have to go home, Ji. I have someone waiting for me there.”
“Right. Well, thanks for coming.” You walked over to him, placing a kiss on his cheek.
“Take care of yourself,  Ji.”
“You too.”
You gave him one last smile before walking out of the bathroom. You wanted to say so much more, but you knew you shouldn’t. There was nothing left to say, was there?
Jiyong stood in the bathroom for a little longer than he probably should, but he knew he didn’t have it in him to watch you walk away again. After what felt like a decent amount of time, he plastered a fake smile on his face before heading out to the party, finding a group of his friends and thanking them for coming. He’d try for the rest of the night to get you out of his mind. But he knew he wouldn’t. Maybe one day he’d find the words to make you stay.

In the early morning peace of your classroom, you erase the large purple 2 on your whiteboard and replace it with a 1. Your class has been learning about the government recently. Because of the shared success in naming the three branches on the most recent quiz, you reward them with a small field trip. LAPD SWAT was more than happy to host your class and give them a tour of their headquarters.
You smile as you sort through your notes for the day. The kids will undoubtedly be excited about tomorrow’s trip, but there are a few things you need to get done today. Your phone buzzes with an incoming message, and your smile brightens when you see who it’s from. Rather than answering, you press your husband’s contact to call him.
“Good morning,” Deacon greets when he answers. “Were you going to tell me about tomorrow’s field trip?”
“I was going to, but you’ve been really busy. I talked to Hicks and he said it was okay,” you reply softly.
“Oh, of course it is,” Deacon insists. “I was just calling to ask if you need a tour guide.”
“Really?” you ask, thrilled by the idea. “You would do that?”
“Absolutely. They’re good kids, and… well, to tell you the truth, I’m in love with their teacher.”
“I- we would love to have you with us,” you answer. “And their teacher loves you too.”
Deacon sighs and murmurs, “That’s a relief.”
You laugh at his response, then ask, “Do I need to change anything? I made the plans with Hicks and don’t want to put you out.”
“He went over it with me, everything’s good. We’ll see you tomorrow, same time, same place.”
“Okay, awesome. Thank you, David.”
“Of course. I thought you were doing a pizza party for them.”
“I let them pick between a local field trip to visit one of the government branches or a pizza party. They chose the executive branch.”
“You’re a good teacher.”
“You’re a good sergeant.”
“Hey, I’ve got to go, but I’ll see you tonight.”
“Thank you. Be safe today.”
“Always. I love you.”
“I love you.”
You end the call and return to the board. After surrounding the trip countdown with hand-drawn confetti, you begin readying the classroom for your students.
Tumblr media
“Alright, what are we going to be?” you ask your students in SWAT’s parking lot.
“Respectful,” they answer together.
You smile and nod, then ensure everyone stands with their assigned buddy.
“Good morning!” Deacon calls as he exits the station.
“Good morning!” your students reply.
“I am SWAT Sergeant Kay, but you can call me Deacon,” he introduces himself. “I heard you’re here to see the executive branch in action?”
Your students nod excitedly, and Deacon sends you a smile. The gate behind you lifts, and a grey Charger pulls in.
“Mrs. Kay!” Hondo yells as he exits the driver’s side. “And Mrs. Kay’s class!”
“This is my team leader, Sergeant Harrelson,” Deacon tells the kids. “We work together with a few other officers to go into dangerous places and help people.”
“Hicks didn’t tell us it was your class,” Hondo whispers as he stops beside you.
“I don’t know how Deacon found out,” you reply quietly. “I was trying not to bother you guys.”
Hondo drops his smile and raises a brow. “I know you did not just say that.”
“It’s Friday,” you remind him, tapping him with your elbow. “Leading a field trip probably isn’t the ideal way to end the week.”
“As opposed to what? Getting shot at?”
“Mrs. Kay?” one of the students closest to you calls.
“Yes, Remy?” you reply, stepping toward her.
“Why doesn’t SWAT use regular police cars?”
“That is a great question,” you say. “Let’s ask Sergeant Kay.”
Deacon smiles as Remy raises her hand, then asks, “Yes?”
“Hi,” Remy begins softly. “I just wanted to ask why you don’t use regular police cars.”
“Excellent question,” Deacon responds. “Because we go into dangerous situations, we have to use cars and trucks that can help protect us. And, sometimes, we don’t want people to know that we are the police because it might make them scared or angry. We have to protect the people around us.”
“Thank you,” Remy says.
“Of course. Are there any other questions before we go inside?”
Hondo raises his hand, and Deacon looks straight past him. He drops his hand and turns to you with a pout.
“Yes?” you inquire as you follow your class into the building.
“Are you coming to family dinner tomorrow?”
“Have I ever missed?”
“Yes.”
“The first week after we met doesn’t count.”
“Ask Luca if it counts.”
“This is our training area,” Deacon says as you shake your head. “SWAT officers have to be ready to run, lift things, and help people at any moment. So, we work out and help each other prepare for our job.”
“How much weight can you lift?” a student asks.
“Yeah, Mrs. Kay, how much weight can he lift?” someone repeats beside you.
You smile as you look at Street. “More than you.”
“Ow.”
“We’re not going to warn you again, kid,” Hondo tells him. “Don’t start with her.”
“Hey!” Luca greets you, wrapping you in a quick hug. “I heard you were bringing the class by today.”
“Next,” Deacon continues. “We’re going to see the situation room. That’s where we find out what we’re doing, who we’re looking for, and it gives us a chance to talk about the day.”
Kelsie, one of your quieter students, raises her hands. Deacon points at her and offers a kind smile, so she asks, “Is it like our bell work?”
Your husband looks at you, and you say, “Yeah, Kelsie! That’s a really cool connection. During bell time, we talk about what we're doing that day and make sure everyone has what they need for the day.”
“Exactly what we do in the situation room,” Hondo adds.
Hondo, Street, and Luca excuse themselves, and you join the front of your group. The parent chaperones keep everyone in order as you join Deacon’s side to answer a few more questions. The tour is better than expected, and you have your husband to thank.
Tumblr media
As you return to the training area and Deacon finishes the tour, you prepare to lead your students back to the bus.
“There’s one more thing that is important and necessary in SWAT operations,” Deacon says. “Would you like to see it?”
Your class cheers before they remember your instructions to respect the people working and quiets quickly. They nod, excited, as Deacon leads them toward the door.
“What’s up, everybody?” Luca calls. “You’re about to see something that is very special to me. I’m Officer Luca, 20-David’s resident driver.”
“What do you drive?” several kids ask simultaneously.
Luca leads them around the corner and reveals, “This is Black Betty. She’s a type of APC, or armored personnel carrier. That means we can put our team in the back and drive into very dangerous places, but still be protected.”
“We take Black Betty almost everywhere we go,” Deacon adds.
“Whoa!” the kids exclaim as the lights come on.
Street exits the driver’s seat and opens the rear double doors.
“Who wants to stand inside and see what she looks like?” Luca asks.
All your students raise their hands, and you walk to Deacon’s side as they follow Luca in a single file line to take turns.
“Thank you,” you say.
“It was just a tour,” Deacon replies.
“No, it wasn’t. You made their year. I have no doubt a few of them will be telling me about their dream careers of being SWAT officers next week.”
“You’ve got a couple promising recruits.”
You smile and watch Street and Luca play with your students as they climb in and out of Black Betty.
“So, how much can you lift?” you tease.
“Enough,” Deacon replies.
“That’s exactly what she said,” Hondo interjects. “You know, I’ve always heard opposites attract, so if you ever-“
“I know where to find you, yes,” you interrupt. “Keep this up and I’ll tell Luca you uninvited me from family dinner.”
“Ooh!” Street yells. “Sorry, that was so loud. But, you deserved it, Hondo.”
“Can we turn on the sirens?” Remy asks Deacon.
He looks at Luca, who smiles and nods. You watch Deacon lift her into the driver’s seat and show her the switch to turn the sirens on with a smile.
Tumblr media
“You made dinner,” Deacon says, wrapping his arms around your waist.
You turn in his hold and smile. “Well, after all the hard work you did today, it’s the least I could do.”
Deacon shakes his head before he kisses you. Being a tour guide has never been a duty he’s enjoyed, but with you and your class, he thinks he could do it daily and not get tired.
“Thank you again,” you say.
“Any time,” Deacon promises before pulling you closer.

✰ ✰ ✰ ✰ ✰ ✰ ✰ ✰ ✰ ✰ ✰ ✰ ✰ ✰ ✰ ✰ ✰ ✰
You had fixed Dinner for Soda, Pony, Darry and yourself. The rest of the boys having gone off to other places for nightly activities.
“I know a hot meal probably isnt ideal considering the circumstances but I hope you boys still like it” you said as you set down plates of spaghetti in front of the boys.
“Dont worry your pretty little head, this looks delicious, thank you for making dinner darling” Darry said to you and gave you a kiss on the cheek. Resulting in a ‘yuck’ from Pony and Soda.
You were grateful he allowed himself to sit down and let you make and serve dinner. He was always working or busy with something and you enjoyed being able to help out.
“Y/n it looks real good and i'm always starving after work” Soda complemented
“Yeah y/n, I've been wantin’ spaghetti real bad, thanks for makin’ it for me” Pony gushed
You laughed and thanked them all for the praises on the simple dish.
The four of you sat down for dinner, Pony talking about the latest book he’d read, Soda talking about weird customers he ran into all while Darry watched you adoringly, he loved how good you got along with Pony and Soda and how much you cared for them. Always asking about their days and laughing at their stories, comforting them if something went awry, and threatening to beat up guys double your size if you heard they hurt Pony.
After the four of you had eaten, Pony and Soda headed to their rooms while you and Darry cleaned up dinner. Darry was washing the dishes while you cleaned off plates from the table.
“I never knew a man could look so hot washing dishes” you giggled, slightly mesmerized by Darry’s biceps and his muscular figure he had built from the long days spent at work. You set the dishes down in the sink then wrapped your arms around Darry’s waist from behind, you slowly began to press gentle kisses on to his back, working your way up to his shoulder blades.
“Doll you can’t keep teasin’ me like this” he groaned “I’m not gonna make it if you keep getting me all worked up” You felt him shiver
“What if I want you to be all worked up” you whispered back
“Well thankfully all the dishes are clean” He replied drying his hands off with a towel
“But don’t they need dried and put away” you teased, continuing to work slow kisses along his shoulder.
Darry turned himself around so he was now facing you, you laid your head on his chest and were now hugging his waist. He held the back of your head with his hands, playing with your hair and massaging your scalp. You sighed contentedly at his actions, closing your eyes and allowing yourself to be engulfed in his scent.
You heard the creak of a door opening then the padding of footsteps down the hall. You turned your head to face who you heard, not leaving Darry’s arms. You saw Soda giving you an amused look and Pony standing behind him with a teasing grossed out face.
“I’m gonna go meet with Steve, there’s some party he wants to go to tonight, I probably won’t be back till late” Soda told you and Darry
“And I wanna go to the drive in, I told Johnny I’d meet him there, I’ll probably be home late too” Pony chimed in
“Alright, just be safe and I’ll tan both of your hides if you're not back home by the time I’m up tomorrow morning” Darry threatened, only half kidding.
You left Darry’s embrace to give Soda and Pony quick hugs “have fun, and call if you need anything” You said to them, both of them leaving soon after.
“We got lucky” you smiled, heading back over to Darry “got the house all to ourselves”
“Exactly what we needed sweet thing” Darry cooed, he picked you up, holding on tightly to your waist. Seconds later his lips were on yours, hungrily kissing you. He moved you over to set you down on the counter, still kissing you needily.
He moved his hands down to your thighs running his fingers along them as he began to kiss down your neck and onto your collar bone.
“Been needing you so bad” he muttered between kisses, small whimpers coming from you. You worked your hands through his hair, pulling on the strands when he would suck and gently bite on your skin.
“Youre gonna leave marks” you said softly, not opposed to the idea but wanting to make sure he knew.
“I want to honey” he replied, looking up at you with big eyes “want you to think about me when you see em’”
Your stomach flipped at the sight of him, the lustful look in his eyes, the small smirk that played on his face, as you felt him gently running his hands along your thighs and hips.
“Darry I need you” you whimpered out.
Darry quickly picked you back up and carried you down the hall to his room, softly setting you down on his bed. He climbed on top of you and tugged your tank top over your head, his lips back on yours in an instant. He unclasped your bra with ease, throwing it to the side.
He pulled back from you to admire your figure “You’re so beautiful my sweet girl” he praised
You blushed at his complements and pulled him back into you, kissing him slowly and sweetly, in contrast to the fast pace that had previously been set.
You tangled your hands into his hair and he moved one of his hands to your breast, he cupped it then gently began toying with your nipple, slowly rubbing circles and lightly pinching. The sensation made you moan softly and he groaned at the noises you were producing.
You began to play with the hem of his shirt, slowly pulling it up, hinting at what you were wanting.
“Words baby” he said, noticing your actions
“Can I take your shirt off?” you shyly asked him
“course you can” he replied sweetly
You lifted his shirt over his head, admiring his toned figure for a moment before you crawled into his lap, wrapping your legs around his waist, and began kissing his neck, moving your way down to his collarbone. His quick breaths and grunts had you pooling with arousal, you felt his erection on your thigh so you knew you werent the only one getting worked up.
He began to toy with your waistband, “love when you wear these shorts, they look so beautiful on you” he groaned out, you hummed in response.
“can I take em’ off?” he asked you sweetly
“Yes, please honey” you said eagerly, and he moved you onto your back, shimmying the shorts down your soft legs.
Darry hovered over you for a moment before leaning down to give you a loving kiss, then working his way down your body, kissing every part of you. He stopped just below your belly button. Looking up at you with loving eyes “this okay?”
You nodded quickly, desperately needing him closer to where you desired him most.
He pulled your undies down and placed a sweet kiss on your swollen clit. He quickly licked up the arousal that had been forming “so wet for me” he muttered, tongue diving between your folds.
He slowly pushed two fingers into you, you groaned at the sensation and grabbed onto his hair, it had once been cleanly slicked back but you had made a mess of it by now.
You felt a sensation building in your stomach as Darry worked his fingers in and out of you, curling them to hit the soft spongy spot inside of you.
Just as he was about to push you over the edge he quickly pulled away. You whined at the loss of contact and he shushed you.
“Can you wait a little bit for me baby? You’re doing so good” he cooed
You groaned but agreed to his request.
He unbuckled his belt and pulled his pants down along with his underwear.
You nearly drooled at the sight in front of you, Darry was hard and throbbing and the look in his eyes told you he desperately needed you.
He moved so he was hovering over you, your gaze met his and you gave him a nod to signal that you were ready. He lined himself up with your entrance and slowly began to push into you.
You gasped at the sensation, pressure building as your body tried to adjust to his size.
“Youre doing so good for me” Darry praised “you okay honey?” he asked, wanting to know before he pushed further into you. You nodded and he pushed into you the rest of the way. You were completely filled with him and he groaned at the pressure of your walls clinging to him.
He began to thrust in and out of you, slowly at first but your whines of pleasure encouraged him to move quicker. He moved his face into the crook of your neck in an unsuccessful attempt to muffle his moans. You were a mess underneath him, moaning at the sensation with each move of his hips, you were frantically grabbing him anywhere you could, squeezing his biceps, scratching his back, tugging on his hair, any kind of contact you could get with him.
“Fuck” Darry groaned “feel so good doll” he managed to get out between heavy breathes.
You felt your orgasm approaching as pressure built in your stomach.
“I’m so close Dare” you cried out. He quickly moved his lips to yours, swallowing your moans, he continued to thrust into you, hitting the perfect spot every time.
You sloppily kissed him as you felt your release nearing, one of your hands holding on to the side of his face while the other tugged on his hair. He held tightly onto your hips holding you in place as he fucked you. He felt you clenching around him knowing he was nearing his release as well.
“It’s okay baby” He cooed to you, signaling to you to allow yourself to release all the pressure that had been building.
With a few more sloppy thrusts you were pushed over the edge, the pressure releasing as you were thrown into pure bliss. When Darry felt your walls clench around him he was soon releasing inside of you. Groaning as the two of you rode out your highs together.
When you had caught your breath, you kissed him on the forehead, he was a sweaty mess but he looked so handsome. Both of you whispered ‘I love you’s’ and Darry praised “you did so good, you're so beautiful”
After sweet kisses and giggles Darry stood up to go run a bath for you. You whined at the loss of his contact “I’m just gonna start a bath so I can get you cleaned up, I’ll be right back” he said with a small laugh.
You sat up and threw Darry’s previously discarded shirt on to cover up your exposed body.
Darry was back seconds later as he had said and he raised his eyebrows at you wearing his shirt “practically swimming in that thing” he chuckled as he moved towards you and placed a kiss on your forehead. He wrapped his arms under your legs and back and picked you up to carry you to the bathroom.
“Darry I can walk” you said with a teasing attitude
“Nope, you're getting carried” He responded and kissed your forehead.
Darry set you down on the countertop in the bathroom and helped you pull the shirt off, he then picked you up and set you back down in the bath, now filled with warm water.
He helped you wash your body, massaging and scratching your back in the process.
After you were cleaned up he’d given you a clean shirt of his per your request, you told him it was still too hot to put your pajamas on and you batted your eyes at him as you asked if you could just wear one of his shirts to bed. He agreed of course, knowing he couldn't say no to you especially when you looked at him like that.
Both of you laid down in bed, worn out from your previous activities. Darry placed a hand on your thigh, rubbing small circles along your hip as the two of you fell asleep.

PART 12 I LOVE YOU MOM
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Y/N couldn't help but smile as she watched her son, Mattia, excitedly explain their latest project to the family.
“Oh! You look more and more like your mother every day, Mattia,” his grandfather, said warmly, his voice tinged with nostalgia.
Matheo grinned, clearly loving the compliment. “Thanks, Grandpa.”
Y/N, sitting at the other end of the table, raised her glass, asking Martin for a refill of wine. He glanced at the letter on the table—a peculiar one with an intricate drawing of what appeared to be a dog and a hastily scribbled "911" in bold letters.
Before anyone could notice his curiosity, there was a sudden commotion. Matheo, leaned so far forward in his chair that he tipped it over, landing flat on his back with a loud thud.
The room went silent in shock
“Mattia! Are you okay, baby?” Y/N was by his side in seconds, her face painted with concern.
Matheo scrambled to his feet, brushing himself off with an awkward smile. “Yeah, I’m fine, Mom. I just felt a little dizzy, that’s all. No big deal. Mom, can I go out for a while?”
Y/N frowned but didn’t push further. “Do you want me to come with you?”
“No, no,” Matheo replied quickly, his voice a little too high-pitched to be convincing. “I’ll just step out for a minute. I’ll be fine, promise!” He grabbed his coat and bolted for the door before anyone could ask another question.
As the door clicked shut, his grandfather narrowed his eyes. He muttered under his breath, “You’re not fooling me, young man.”
Matheo rushed through the bustling streets until he found a public phone booth. He slipped inside, closed the door, and fumbled with the phone, his heart racing. He quickly dialed the operator. “Um, could I make a collect call to Madrid, Spain?”
Meanwhile, in Madrid, Mattia paced the length of his room like a tiger in a cage, glancing anxiously at the phone. When it finally rang, he lunged for it so fast he almost tripped.
“Hello?” he answered breathlessly.
“Mattia, what’s going on?” Matheo’s voice came through, laced with worry.
“God, Matheo, I’m about to collapse,” Mattia blurted out.
“Okay, chill. Just explain.”
“Dad,” Mattia said dramatically, pausing for effect. “Dad is getting married.”
Matheo froze, his jaw dropping. “What?!”
“I’m serious! The suit and gown, the ceremony, everything. It’s happening in two weeks. If we don’t do something now, it’s game over. The only way to stop him is to reunite him with Mom.”
Matheo leaned his forehead against the glass of the phone booth, guilt bubbling up. He should’ve listened to Mattia earlier. “Alright. I’ll handle Mom. There’s event tonight, and I’ll drop the news on her tomorrow morning.”
“Please, Theo. This has to work. And hey... good luck.”
“Yeah, you too. I’ll call you later.” Matheo hung up, took a deep breath, and opened the door to leave, only to bump straight into someone waiting outside.
“Oh, sorry, I didn’t see—oh… oh…” he stammered, his heart sinking when he realized who it was.
His grandfather, stood there with his signature knowing smile. “Uh-huh… oh, oh.”
“This is not what it looks like,” Matheo blurted out, already feeling the walls closing in.
His grandfather just looped his arm through his as they began to walk down the park path. “Sweetheart, I may be old, but I notice ‘everything’. Now, spill it. What’s this all about?”
“It’s... it’s a long story,” he mumbled, desperately trying to come up with an excuse.
His grandfather patted his arm reassuringly. “Well, lucky for you, I’ve got all the time in the world.”
Matheo sighed, realizing there was no escaping him. “Alright, but promise you won’t freak out.”
“No promises,” he teased, a mischievous glint in his eye.
And with that, Matheo began unraveling the tangled web of plans, secrets, and schemes, knowing full well his grandfather was the last person he could ever truly fool.
*****
Matheo paced nervously, his shoe scuffing the floor as he debated his next move. From the other side of the door, he could hear his mother speaking in rapid French, her voice calm and composed despite the chaos in his chest. Biting his lip, he leaned against the door, just barely cracking it open to peek inside. His mother sat at her desk, phone pressed to her ear, her words flowing effortlessly like music he didn’t understand.
Behind him, his grandfather, gently placed a hand on his shoulder. “We don’t have all day, gentleman,” he said, his tone both firm and loving.
Matheo glanced up at him, hesitant, but he smiled at him, his eyes full of encouragement. “You can do this,” he whispered.
Taking a deep breath, Matheo pushed the door open wider and stepped inside. His mother, Y/N, was just finishing her call, something about a new design that she had completed and a delicious carbonara pasta she’d been craving. She glanced up, surprised to see her son standing there, and quickly hung up.
“Mattia, my baby,” she said, setting the phone down.
But before Matheo could say anything, he froze, his courage faltering. Without a word, he dove under the covers beside his mom, pulling the cover over his head. Y/N blinked, her confusion quickly melting into amusement.
“Mattia?” Y/N called, moving to sit beside the bundle of blankets that was her son. “What are you doing there?”
From beneath the covers came a muffled response: “I have to go see Mattia!”
Y/N laughed softly, trying to open the cover. "So, where are you supposed to meet ‘Mattia’ ? Tell me, Mattia?"
“Mattia? Sweetheart?” Y/N called his son, she glancing back at her dad, who stood in the doorway with an amused but knowing look.
“In Madrid. With his father, Carlos Sainz,” Matheo mumbled, his voice trembling slightly.
At that, Y/N froze. Her face paled, and she shot a look at her Dad, who simply gave a small nod, urging her to listen. Slowly, Y/N pulled the covers back, revealing Matheo’s nervous face.
“You’re not Mattia, are you?” she asked softly, her voice wavering.
Matheo shook his head, tears welling up in his eyes. “No,” he whispered.
Y/N heart clenched as the truth began to dawn on her. Her hand reached out, brushing a stray soft hair from his forehead as her eyes filled with emotion.
“You’re Matheo,” she said, her voice cracking slightly. “My Matheo.”
Matheo nodded again, this time letting the tears spill over. “Mattia and I met at camp,” he began, his words tumbling out in a rush. “We figured everything out, about you and Dad, and we decided to switch places. I just... I wanted to meet you so badly. And Mattia wanted to meet Dad. I’m so sorry, Mom. Please don’t be mad. I love you so much, and I just... I just hope someday you’ll love me for me, not because you think I’m Mattia.”
Y/N breath hitched, and she pulled her son into her arms, holding him tightly as if afraid he might disappear. “Oh, my baby,” she whispered. “I’ve loved you your whole life. Always. With all my heart.”
From the doorway, his grandfather dabbed at his eyes with a tissue, muttering something about how dusty the room had gotten. Meanwhile, Martin, their family butler, stood openly sobbing, his dramatic cries echoing down the hall. The grandfather rolled his eyes and gently shut the door to give Y/N and Matheo some privacy.
Matheo pulled back slightly, looking up at his mother with a hopeful expression. “Does this mean we have to switch back now?”
Y/N let out a soft, bittersweet laugh, brushing away her own tears. “Technically, you belong to your dad, and Mattia belongs to me,” she said. “It’s... complicated.”
Matheo frowned, his nose scrunching up. “I don’t like this arrangement,” he said firmly. “It’s horrible.”
Y/N chuckled, her heart swelling with affection for her bold little boy. “You’re right,” she admitted. “It is horrible.”
“Then let’s go to Madrid,” Matheo said decisively, his small hands gripping hers. “We can talk to Dad and figure this out together.”
Y/N hesitated for a moment, the thought of seeing Carlos again making her heart tighten. But when she looked into Matheo’s eyes, so full of determination and love, she knew there was no other option.
“That’s what we’ll do,” she said finally, her voice steady. “Don’t worry, my love. I’ll take care of everything.”
The two hugged each other again. Matheo sighed, feeling free from all the weight of the lie he had kept, while Y/N only thought “Oh God I have to see Carlos Sainz again. I'll be struck by lightning right now.”

I'll Call You Mine
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Myoui Mina x Reader
a/n: a little post-holiday girl in red inspired fluff for @keervah just because 🤭 I’m sorry it took so long and I hope you’ll like it 🙈
Tumblr media
“Rainy days and bad luck come in my way. I look for you when I’m lost so I don’t go insane”
“Aw fuck!”
You curse at the sky as you feel huge drops of rain fall on your face. You grumble to yourself. Of course it’s today of all days that it rains! 29% chance of rain this week and it’s when you’re already late, tired, and cold. You’re already halfway to the bus station and you can’t risk going back home to get an umbrella ‘cause you’re already running late.
You brisk walk all the way to the bus station as the patter of rain starts to pick up. You glance at your watch, five more minutes before the bus arrives, and you heaved a sigh. Everywhere looks so festive, it’s Christmas eve after all and people are enjoying the holidays. You watched them miserably because today you have been called to report to work because your co-worker had an “emergency” and your supervisor was either stupid or favors your co-worker that they didn’t say anything and called you over.
You honestly could’ve said “no” since it was a last minute notice, but you work in healthcare and also needed the extra cash because you’ve been eyeing a cute sweater and a lego set you wanted to buy for your longtime crush, Mina. You smiled as you thought about your adorable introvert. You weren’t officially dating but you’re sure there was something between you because of the way Mina’s eyes shine when she sees you or how she lets loose her cute laughter and her gummy smile just for you. You’ve been going on cute little dates for months now and you remembered Mina’s kid-like excitement when you both saw that humongous Hogwarts lego set at a store you passed by. You secretly took note of that because Mina and legos and Mina building legos and Mina’s little happy dance - you were full on smiling now and felt warm because of the thought.
A loud honk shook you out of your reverie as the bus stopped in front of you and you can feel yourself slipping to your previous bad mood once again. You sat near the window and looked out in disbelief. Of course the rain stopped when you’re finally inside. It’s like the universe is testing your patience today. You decided to text Mina, just to lighten your mood a bit even though you have to inform her that you can’t spend Christmas eve together because of work. Mina, bless her beautiful soul, replied in an instant and you just about melted. She sent you a photo of her in a Christmas sweater holding a yule log with a text saying “Let’s eat this together when you get back and go to the Christmas market after.”
You were restless at work and you catch yourself glancing at the clock almost every few minutes. It’s pretty late and you’re sure Mina’s having dinner with her family already. Your goal was to go straight to the store after your shift on Christmas morning to buy that lego set and spend the rest of Christmas day with her. You’re in a brighter mood just thinking about how happy it will make her and you used that thought to fuel you for the rest of your shift. You received a text from Mina a few hours before midnight, “Merry Christmas, y/n. I wish you were here so tonight. I can’t wait to see you tomorrow morning!” She was so cute and it got you all giddy! You sent her an apology and told her you’d want to spend Christmas eve with her too but you assured her that tomorrow will be a fun day for the both of you. Her swift reply came, “I can’t wait! Good luck with the rest of your shift. I’ll see you tomorrow,” with a kissy face photo of her attached. You felt your cheeks heat up and you were trying to suppress a giggle. She’s the most adorable person ever! Now you’re more determined and happy thinking that this extra shift was all worth it when you see her tomorrow.
Finally, an hour left before your shift ends. You send the store a quick message asking to wrap up the Hogwarts lego set and sent them the payment. This way, you just need to drop by to get it and save you time. You can’t wait to spend your first Christmas with Mina! A few minutes passed and you received a text from your supervisor and your mood darkened incredibly. The employee assigned after your shift could not make it and there isn’t anyone else available to take over so you need to stay for their shift, which unfortunately for you is a double shift.
You can feel your temper rising. You wanted to scream and curse at someone but you really had no choice, it’s not like you’d be able to just leave your work and leave your patients to tend to themselves. You were in a very terrible mood as you counted the hours and realized you’d be missing the Christmas market when your shift ends because it closes early for their last day. You type out a message to your supervisor begging them to find someone to at least cover half the shift you’re forced to do. You had plans today and you feel like everything is ruined and you don’t even know what to tell Mina.
Your heart was heavy as your supposed shift ended and the new one started. As if on cue, Mina texted you good morning and that she couldn’t wait to see you. You were devastated and the festive mood long gone. You were disappointed at yourself for promising so much and not being able to make good on it, especially since this is Mina. You sent her an apology and an explanation not really in the mood anymore. Of course, because this is Mina, she understood and told you she’d still be waiting to spend Christmas with you no matter when your shift ends. You send out a halfhearted reply and another apology before burying your phone deep in your pocket not wanting to send more false promises. You informed the lego store of your predicament and the store owner asked if you’d want to pick it up at their residence instead if you don’t make it before the store closes. You say yes and thank them, thankful that their address is close to Mina’s. At least you can pick it up along the way.
The rest of the day was a blur. In the end, no one arrived to split your shift with you and it made you feel numb. It was already dark when the next person came in for the shift after yours. You sluggishly got ready to leave and sent both the store owner and Mina that you were on your way and apologized for how late it was. Thankfully the travel back was uneventful although you were really devastated as you watch people heading home with smiles on their faces.
Only a few more hours ‘til Christmas was over and you feel salty for only having that amount of time with Mina. You knew yourself well enough that you might end up ruining this night with her because you really are in a terrible mood and didn’t wanna see her disappointed face. So as you walked towards the store owner’s house you contemplated on just giving your Christmas gift and heading home.
You thanked the store owner as he gave you the huge box and apologized for the trouble. He was still all smiles and wished you Merry Christmas before you went on your way. A couple of houses before Mina’s you stopped and texted her that you’re almost at her door and wanted to give her something. You kept walking afterwards even after you felt your phone vibrate from her reply. You spotted her sitting at the foot of their porch. All wrapped in an oversized sweater and an elf hat sitting atop her head. Your heart warmed at the sight but guilt kept you from being truly happy to see her.
But Mina, known for her introverted and calm demeanor, just about beamed and ran when she spotted you. She enveloped you in a hug before dragging you to the door. You smiled halfheartedly and stopped her. You wanted to say you’re just there to give her a Christmas present and leave, but before you can even get anything out she looked at you sternly and said, “Nope. You’re staying. I prepared a bath for you and warm clothes and a surprise. So you’re staying. Got that?” You looked at her and can’t decide whether to smile or get scared because she looks so adorable with her elf hat and furrowed brows. All you were able to do was nod and utter a small “yes, ma’am” before she gave you a gummy smile and pushed you inside the house.
Mina just realized you were holding a gigantic box when you’re finally inside the house and gave you a questioning look. You chuckled lightly, “This is your Christmas present and I wanna see you open it.” Mina smiled at you widely, “Okay but first a warm bath! I know you’re really tired so take your time and relax. The clothes are in the bathroom, go” she pushed you towards the bathroom as she dragged out the last syllables. You were surprised with what you saw inside. The bathroom smells like peppermint and there were candles that cast a warm glow. An assortment of Christmas themed bath bomb were by the tub and a pair of fluffy pajamas and sweater were by the counter. You can already feel yourself relaxing and your mood lifting as you take in the scene before you.
You took your time in the bath as you were trying to shake off your bad mood because Mina has been trying to cheer you up. You got dressed and was drying your hair when you stopped and stared at the mirror. You didn’t notice it at first but the sweater you’re wearing has a huge penguin wearing a Santa hat. You can’t help but giggle now and hugged yourself thinking of how this is the sweetest gesture you’ve gotten. Finally in a better mood than when you first arrived.
You excited the bathroom and made your way to the living room to see Mina in a similar outfit placing two mugs of what smells like hot chocolate on the table. She looked at you and cooed at how adorable you are in your outfit. “I knew it would suit you!” She said as she straightened up and you saw her sweater has a huge black cat with a red scarf looped around its neck. “It’s me and you,” she said shyly as she saw you looking back and forth at her sweater and yours “Do you like it?” She asked as she batted her eyes at you. You smiled a genuine smile for the first time that day and enveloped her in a hug. “I love it so much!” You said against her hair and she giggled.
She made you sit on the couch and gave you a mug of hot chocolate with little marshmallows on them before disappearing into the kitchen. She returned with the yule log and a couple of forks in her hand and placed it in front of you. “It’s still Christmas after all,” she said as she picked up her own mug and sat beside you placing her head on your shoulder. You put your mug down and held her. “I’m sorry I was in a bad mood earlier,” you started “I just really wanted to spend our first Christmas together the best way. I know how much you wanted to see the lights and decor around the Christmas market and we weren’t even able to go.” She looked at you lovingly then and cuddled closer, “But we are spending the Christmas the best way. It doesn’t matter that it’s a little late, at least you’re here now. And besides, I have another surprise for you!” She suddenly stood up and placed her mug on the table before putting her hand out to help you up.
She dragged you to her bedroom door, mischief dancing in her eyes as she looked at you. “I knew you were sad that we didn’t get go enjoy the pretty Christmas scene so….” She then opened the door and you stare at everything in awe. “I just brought them here for you.” She finished quietly. You took in the whole room as you entered. Christmas lights were strewn on the ceiling and a small Christmas tree sat on her dresser decorated with cute ornaments and fake snow. Fairy lights cascaded over the shelves, the window, and her headboard. Everything looks so magical that it took your breath away. “Mina…” you let out her name in a whisper, words failing you with how sweet and wonderful her surprise is. You look at her beside you and her eyes were shining and expectant as she looks at your glowing face. You held her close, kissed her forehead, and whispered, “Thank you. This is the best Christmas ever.” She giggled and hugged you tightly before pulling back a little. She stared at you shyly this time and pointed upwards.
You look up and saw a mistletoe and you felt your face heat up. She was so adorable with her mischievous eyes and her shy smile that you can’t help but giggle and give her a small smirk. She hit you playfully before standing on her tiptoes, you pulled her in for your first kiss. It was chaste and warm and perfect. Just like your Mina. “You’re what I want for Christmas, y/n. And I hope you want me too,” she said with so much love and adoration that you thought your heart was gonna burst. You leaned in for another kiss as words are not enough to tell her how much you want this too. You stopped to catch your breath and rested your forehead against hers. “You’re mine.” You said against her lips and she giggled.
“Now how are you gonna top my best Christmas gift ever?” She playfully teased and you lit up, excited to give her the lego set you bought. “Come see,” you smirked at her, “I’m sure you’d love it” you said as you took her hand and led her out to the living room again. You moved the small table to make way and sat on the carpeted floor before placing the box in front of you. You gestured for her to sit on the opposite side and told her to open it.
You can’t decide which was better, her heartfelt confession earlier or how she was squealing like a little girl right now. Like you imagined, she was as excited and as giddy as a little kid on Christmas morning. You were beaming as you watch her take out the pieces and tried to hug the huge box against her. “BEST GIFT EVER” you heard her muffled exclamation. You laughed and pried the box off of her hands before teasingly said, “better than me being yours?” Her eyebrows shot up so fast, eyes wide but also teasing. “Nope! I’ll always call you mine.” She said with a grin.
You spent the rest of the night drinking hot chocolate and building the lego. You can’t help but think then that there isn’t any other way you wanna spend Christmas.

I love you, I'm sorry
Hey guyss, so i don't know how to feel about this but enjoy this one-shot of Max.
Tumblr media
You and Max have been seeing each other for a few months now, and from the outside, everything looks perfect. Dinners at fancy restaurants, spontaneous weekend trips, gifts that make your heart skip a beat. He's attentive, thoughtful—always doing the kind of things that make you feel special. But there’s something nagging at you, something that’s been bothering you for a while now: despite all the time you spend together, you've never met his friends or family. No gatherings, no introductions—just the two of you, always in private.
Tonight, you’re having dinner in his hotel room. The candles flicker softly, casting a warm glow over the table, but you can't shake the discomfort building in your chest. You set your fork down, glancing at Max, who’s casually talking about his paddle match tomorrow.
"Maybe next time we could go out with your friends?" you suggest, keeping your tone light, though your heart races with anticipation for his answer.
He barely looks up from his plate, offering a nonchalant, "Maybe," before shifting the conversation to something else.
The indifference stings, but you let it slide for now. After all, you’ll be seeing him tomorrow after his game. You’ll have lunch together, just the two of you—again.
The next morning, you meet him before his paddle match, dressed casually but still feeling out of place as he talks about his plans.
"Would it be okay if I came with you?" you ask, smiling despite the nervous flutter in your stomach. "I mean, we’re having lunch after, so…"
Max glances at you, shaking his head gently. "Nah, you’d get bored. It’s just me and the guys."
The explanation feels hollow, but you nod, not wanting to seem pushy. "Okay… I’ll wait here, then."
Hours pass, and you scroll through your phone absentmindedly, until a notification pops up. You open Instagram, and your heart sinks. There’s a picture of Max and Charles, but it’s not just the two of them. Charles’ girlfriend is there, laughing, along with another girl you don’t recognize. They look like they’re having fun—playing together, smiling for the camera. The caption reads, "Paddle time with the best crew!"
Your chest tightens, confusion and frustration swirling inside you. He told you he was going with the guys, but clearly, that’s not true.
When Max finally returns and you sit down for lunch, you can barely focus. His smile, his casual attitude, everything feels off now.
"How was the game?" you ask, trying to sound normal.
"It was good," he replies, not picking up on your mood.
You take a breath, your heart pounding in your chest. "I saw a photo on Instagram… with Charles and his girlfriend. You said it was just the guys."
Max looks up, his expression shifting slightly. "Oh, yeah. The guys couldn’t make it, so we changed plans."
His explanation is too casual, too dismissive. It’s like he doesn’t even care how this looks. You feel the frustration boiling over, your voice sharper than you intend.
"I feel like you’re keeping me a secret, Max," you say, the words spilling out before you can stop them. "Like I’m some dirty little secret you don’t want anyone to know about."
Max’s face hardens. "You’re overreacting. Don’t be crazy."
The words hit you like a slap. You stare at him, disbelief mingling with anger. How can he dismiss your feelings like this?
"I’m not crazy, Max," you say quietly, standing up from the table. "I’m tired of feeling like I don’t matter to you."
You grab your things, heart pounding as you turn toward the door, the weight of everything crashing down on you. Just as your hand touches the doorknob, you hear his chair scrape against the floor behind you. Max's voice, tight with emotion, cuts through the silence.
"Wait," he calls out, his footsteps quick as he crosses the room. Before you can leave, his hand wraps gently around your wrist, stopping you. "Please… don’t go."
You pause, your breath shaky, refusing to turn around as your emotions swirl. "Why should I stay, Max? You’re clearly hiding me, and I don’t understand why."
Max lets out a heavy sigh, his fingers slipping away from your wrist. His voice is softer now, vulnerable in a way you’ve never heard before. "I’m not hiding you because I don’t care. It’s the opposite. I’ve never felt this way about anyone before, and I… I didn’t know how to handle it."
You blink, slowly turning to face him. "What do you mean?"
He steps closer, his eyes filled with something that looks like regret—maybe even fear. "I thought by keeping this just between us, it would protect what we have. I’ve seen what happens when people know too much, when they get involved… and I didn’t want that to ruin us."
The sincerity in his voice pulls at your heart, but it’s not enough. Not yet. "You lied to me, Max. You said it was just the guys, but Charles’ girlfriend was there. If you didn’t want to hide me, why couldn’t I come too?"
Max runs a hand through his hair, looking conflicted. "I didn’t know she’d be there. I swear. It wasn’t planned. I… I panicked. I didn’t want you to think that I was lying to you or excluding you on purpose." He takes a deep breath, meeting your gaze. "I’m sorry. I really am."
The silence between you stretches for a moment, heavy with everything unsaid.
"And you didn’t think to tell me this before?" you ask, the hurt still present in your voice.
"I was stupid," he admits, his voice raw. "I thought keeping it private would make it safer. But I can see now how wrong that was. I don’t want to lose you. I love you. I’ve never said it because… I didn’t know how. But I do."
Your heart skips a beat at his words. He loves you. Max, who had been so distant, so guarded, was standing in front of you now, admitting something you hadn’t expected to hear.
"Can we start over?" he asks quietly, his eyes pleading with yours. "I’ll do better. I’ll introduce you to everyone, take you anywhere you want to go. Just… give me another chance."
You hesitate, the hurt still fresh, but there’s something in his eyes that makes you want to believe him. Something real.
"Okay," you say softly, your voice barely above a whisper. "But don’t lie to me again, Max. If we’re going to make this work, I need the truth."
He steps closer, reaching for your hand, his touch warm and reassuring. "I promise. No more lies. Just you and me, out in the open."
You nod, the weight of your frustration beginning to lift as Max pulls you into a tight embrace. The road ahead may not be easy, but for the first time in a while, you feel like you’re both finally on the same page.

Her Sweet Thing.
Pairing: Agatha Harkness x fem!reader
Word count: 1,042
Summary: The constant stress of trying to understand how Wanda revived Vision with her magic was exhausting. Thankfully, her sweet girlfriend was there to lift her spirits.
Warnings: MDNI, lots of fluff, mentions of mommy kink, soft Agatha. Mommy!Agatha(?)
A/N: This is my first fic. I’m sorry if my writing is bad :’) No smut in this one but if y’all want me to write some, I’ll try!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Being trapped in this "hex," as some call it, is not enjoyable. You've been watching your girlfriend become increasingly obsessed with figuring out how Wanda brought her soulmate back to life—essentially, how she revived him. Many years ago, Agatha lost her son. She may have wielded the Darkhold, but nothing compared to her love for Nicky. After a long day of pretending, she finally pulled into the driveway. Agnes, Agatha's character, was the nosy neighbor, always smiling and socializing, constantly talking. It was all a ruse to extract information from Wanda. Tonight was filled with pure frustration, with the moonlight barely illuminating the living room and casting a gentle glow on your sleeping face.
Agatha just arrived home—not her real home, but what the two of you considered home within this false reality. It was nearing midnight, and you had fallen asleep waiting for her, knowing you weren’t allowed to leave the house without Agatha. She didn’t want Wanda anywhere near you. You had no idea just how dangerous Wanda’s powers truly were, and if Wanda figured out that you weren’t under her mind games, who knew what might happen?
As Agatha kicked off her shoes, she hung up the 1980s-style jacket she had been wearing all day. Although it wasn’t to her liking, you always thought the style looked adorable on her. It made her appear soft, the soft Agatha that only you were allowed to see.
The silence was palpable. Should she be concerned? You were usually making some kind of noise, no matter what time of day it was. Your favorite pastime was baking, a way for you to express your love for your girlfriend. You often baked sweets that you knew she might not want to eat, yet she indulged in them anyway just to see you smile. As she slowly approached the couch, she noticed you curled up beneath a purple blanket tucked tightly around you. It was the same color that Agatha had always loved. She could never get over how much you wore that color, or any shade of purple for that matter. It was another reminder that you truly belonged to her.
A quiet sigh escaped your delicate lips. You definitely didn’t want to wake up yet, especially not in the middle of the night. Agatha simply smiled, her hand trailing down your arm. "Hey, little love, I’ve missed you," she whispered. You just hummed in response, too sleepy to say anything more.
After some coaxing, you finally agreed to go to bed. In the dark bedroom, Agatha turned on a lamp that cast a soft glow. You quickly crawled under the covers, and she chuckled at how insistent you were about staying warm. Agatha quietly changed into her pajamas and then curled up beside you. Snuggling into her side, you mumbled something with your voice muffled, "I love you, Mommy." A pure smile spread across Agatha’s face; you could be so adorable sometimes. "Aww, I love you too, my sweet girl," she replied, giving you a gentle kiss on the cheek.
Despite the time of day, you were happy to engage in a conversation with Agatha. "How was your day?" your voice was a quiet murmur. She let out a frustrated sigh, reluctant to discuss her issues with Wanda. You were just too sweet to understand her struggles. Agatha didn’t want you to see what she considered her dark side. Someone finally loved her for who she was, and she feared that if you saw that side of her, you wouldn’t love her anymore.
"It was fine. Tell you what, we’ll make pancakes tomorrow morning. Sound good?" Agatha quickly redirected the conversation, thinking that if she could distract you, you wouldn’t ask any questions about Wanda or the hex. All you really knew was that Agatha had a 'mission'—as she called it—and only brought you along because she didn’t want to be away from you for too long. Time was distorted in the hex, and she never really knew what time it was in the outside world. "Ooo, do we have strawberries?" you asked. She smiled and nodded. You loved strawberries; baking strawberry shortcakes was always a favorite of yours, and while Agatha didn’t mind them much, she wasn’t really a fan of sweets.
Soon, slumber had taken over the two of you. The sun rose, shining brightly through the curtains. This was your least favorite part of the day, burying your face in Agatha’s chest, trying to ignore how the world came alive just as quickly as everyone else went to sleep. Your favorite part of the morning was when Agatha would gently wake her up with pecks to the lips. The most sweetest kisses ever. With a chuckle, you softly said, "Good morning, Aggie," using that adorable nickname only you could call her. "Morning, my love," Agatha replied, her voice husky with sleep as she squeezed your hip affectionately. She stood up to get dressed for the day, and you pouted, wishing for just a few more cuddles.
The kitchen was tidy as you gathered the necessary ingredients for pancakes. With everything set up, Agatha joined you to make them from scratch. She playfully dipped her finger into the batter and swiped it on your nose, smiling brightly. "Oops," she chuckled innocently. Rolling your eyes in mock annoyance, you gently attacked her, cupping her jaw with one hand while using the other to spread a bit of batter across her nose. "Payback!" you squealed happily. A smile spread across her cheeks, and for a moment, you could see past her usual disdain for the world. Despite her struggles, you managed to fill her heart with a warmth she never thought she’d find in such a cruel world.
Breakfast was filled with warmth and sweet kisses. The occasional small talk about the day's plans made you feel a bit sad that you couldn't spend the entire day with your girlfriend. Agatha quickly fell back into her character, the persona she had created to deceive Wanda in hopes of learning the Scarlet Witch’s secrets: magic, spells, and anything that brought the Vision back to life. Maybe, just maybe, she could even bring her baby Nicky back to meet you, her baby girl—her girlfriend.

these rare moments II Ana Maria Crnogorčević x Reader
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
a/n: dear readers, enjoy the cozy oneshot and thanks to @unpoppablebubbles, for sending us the request. This will be the only story we publish this week because unfortunately we both got quite sick.
masterlist I word count: 1797
“Hola guapa.”
There it was that warm voice and smile you’d recognize everywhere in the world. Alone by hearing her greeting words warmed up your heart.
“Ana?”, you replied surprised.
“Yes, I’m home for a few days.”, the Swiss woman explained cheerfully.
“Why didn’t you say anything? I’d have picked you up from the airport?”, you asked her, pulling your sports bag off your shoulder.
“Because I know you were busy?”, she answered amusedly pointing towards you, still dressed in Barca training gear.
“I hope you didn’t wait for too long.”
“Don’t worry about that.”, Ana-Maria shook her head.
“Do you want to go out for dinner or stay in tonight?”, you questioned.
“I thought we could stay in and cook something together.”, the blonde proposed with a big smile on her lips.
“Yes, that’s a nice idea, we weren’t able to do this since you moved to..”, you trailed off.
“It’s hard to cook together on two different continents. Unless I make breakfast and you make dinner.”, Ana Maria remarked light-hearted.
“Right.”, you sighed heavily, sadness swinging in your voice.
“But now I’m here to cook with you.”, she responded beaming.
“And making sure that nothing burns.”, you joked.
“I’d never burn food.”, the older player protested.
“You wouldn’t but I’d. Remember when we started dating and I tried to make pancakes for you in the morning?”, you reminisced fondly about the beginning of your relationship.
It was a couple of weeks into the football season where Ana Maria was one of the new signings. You had formed a connection to her immediately.
You were the one teaching her Spanish initially but turned out she was skilled at languages and asked you on a date in your native language not long after the start of your lessons.
The first night she slept over at your home you wanted to treat her to pancakes in the morning which turned out to be a terrible mistake.
“Yes, they were all burned. I think you have to show me tomorrow if you’ve learned it by now.”, Ana Maria suggested smirking.
“I’ll.”, you promised.
“But first, let’s make dinner. Bet you’re starving from training.”, the blonde grinned, leading you to your kitchen.
While she was cutting the vegetables you jumped on to the kitchen counter.
“I’m, the kids are getting younger and younger, and I just feel old and exhausted after training.”, you admitted half-joking half serious.
“Oh, please. I know for a fact that you can still keep up with them easily.”, Ana Maria looked up at you with amusement.
“You do, hm? Are you trying to watch as many games as you can?”, you wanted to know curiously before helping her to cook.
Your girlfriend nodded with a proud smile: “Of course. Even if I miss them, I make sure to watch the highlights.“
“I do the same with yours.“, you admitted. Your heart suddenly beat a bit faster.
She laughed: “You do?”
“Of course. Wine to celebrate our reunion?”, you suggested innocently.
As you expected, she agreed: “Sure.“
There was a bottle of red wine in your cabinet that you had kept for a special occasion. And this occasion seemed very appropriate for it.
You poured two glasses of wine and slid one over to Ana Maria.
The food simmered on the stove as you both sat down at the kitchen table, talking about the past few month without each other.
The bottle emptied with time and your cheeks got warmer with every sip. The alcohol started to take effect and you could feel your brain move on to more pressing topics, topics you had to try to ignore for the past months.
“Have you thought about what you’re going to do after Seattle?”, you heard yourself ask.
You girlfriend studied your face for a moment before shrugging: “I don’t know. Why?”
“Just curious.“, you replied, painting small circles on the kitchen table with your fingertips.
“I’d love to come back to Europe but you know… got to take what I am offered.“
Her voice was unusually quiet like she herself was worried about what would be coming next in her career. Or if anything would be coming next.
You looked back at her again and were surprised to find a fine line between her eyebrows. More evidence that she had thought about this topic more than once too.
You took a deep breath: “Yes, I know… I thought maybe I could join you wherever you will go next.“
There was silence on Ana Marias side. She blinked at you for a moment. “You’re ready to potentially leave Spain?”
“Y-yes.“, you nodded. You hated the way your voice trembled. You were absolutely sure about that decision. You loved Spain but you loved being with your girlfriend a lot more.
She reached across the table, wrapping your hand into her own with a gentle smile: “Okay. We can see if we find a team that takes us both.“
You found the courage to smile back at her: “Alright.“
“I think that sounds like we have a deal. Cheers to that.“
She lifted her glass, clinking it against yours.
“Cheers.“
Relief washed over you, leaving you with a warm calmness. The past few months doing long-distance across two continents had been hard. Ana Marias absence in your shared apartment in Barcelona had haunted you more than you liked to admit.
“Shit, the food!”, your girlfriend suddenly called out. Before you knew what was going on, she jumped out of her chair and pulled the pan from the stove top.
You followed her, taking a look at the food and sighed when you saw that it hadn’t burned yet: “Just in time.“
“That was lucky.”, the Swiss player whistled, clearly relived seeing the dinner being unscathed.
With an amused twinkle in her eyes Anna Maria added. “You want to try it?”
A little moan escaped your lips after you took the first bite. Blushing you pressed a hand to your mouth. “Still tastes delicious.”, you confirmed smiling sheepishly.
Your girlfriends’ eyes had wandered off to the refrigerator where Mateos latest masterpiece was hanging.
“That’s from Mateo.”, you explained beaming proudly.
“He’s gotten so good at drawing. It’s very impressive.”, the blonde observed with a pinch of hurt in her voice.
You silently agreed.
“Please videocall me next time you babysit him.”, she wished.
“Oh, he’ll love that, Mateo misses you almost as much as I do.”, you confessed to her.
“You two are the cutest.”, Ana Maria chirmed, kissing your cheek lovingly. The older woman paused for a moment before continuing. “What would you like to do next?”
“You mean after dinner?”, you returned the question smirking.
“Yes, I mean I’ve to keep you as entertained as Mateo does.”, she insisted, a grin playing on her lips.
“There are many ways to entertain me. When you were in Seattle what did you want to do with me?”, you asked curiously.
“You want to know what I actually missed the most?”, the Swiss woman lifted an eyebrow playfully.
“Yes.”
“Cuddle under the sheets and watch a movie.”, Ana Maria admitted.
It was true when she awoke after a sleepless night in her bed in Seattle and the worries about her future were too heavy on her shoulders, she craved you laying next to her, telling her that everything would be alright.
“This sounds like the perfect ending to this evening if you ask me.”, you replied earnestly. You loved your team, but with a lot of them being in a relationship with a teammate made you feel a little lonely knowing that no one will wait for you when your home.
“I hoped you’d say that.”
“Come on, I’ll light some candles and turn on the fairly lights in the bedroom.”, you guided her softly to your bedroom.
“Perfect. I’m coming.”, Ana Maria hummed excitedly.
While you both had settled underneath the blanket, you put your head on to her chest. “Cozy, isn’t it?”
“I missed this.”, she said, her hand stroking your hair soothingly. To your girlfriend nothing felt more like home as you. Only the Swiss seas and alps were almost close so was her family. Spanish was her romantic language, the way to your lovers’ heart.
You inhaled her delicious scent, your eyes slowly falling, already half asleep.
“Buenas noches mi amor.”, Ana Maria whispered.
“Tú también.”
The next morning, you were woken up by the sun beams falling through the window onto your face. As you turned to Ana Maria, you realized that she was still sleeping peacefully, her body fully relaxed next to yours. You immediately knew that similar to you, she was having the best sleep she had in months.
With a smile, you peeled the sheets off of yourself and climbed out of bed, careful not to wake her up. With bare feet, you snuck into your kitchen to make breakfast. The coffee brewed on the side while you got started on the pancakes, determined to prove your girlfriend that you got better at making them.
You usually served your pancakes with powdered sugar and syrup but you knew Ana Maria liked hers with jam, so you arranged all of the toppings on a tray with the pancakes and the coffee to carry it over to the bedroom.
Your girlfriend blinked awake as you walked in, taking in the smell of breakfast that filled your apartment.
“Good morning.“, you smiled.
Ana Maria yawned: “Good morning. You made pancakes?”
“I did.“, you confirmed with the tiniest bit of pride.
“And they’re not burned?”, she asked with a laugh.
You shrugged slightly and set the tray down on the bed: “You need to try them.“
As you slipped under the covers again, Ana Maria tore a piece of the first pancake and chewed on it. “Oh wow, they’re delicious.“, she finally agreed.
You grinned at her: “See? I got better.“
“You did.“
There was a moment of comfortable silence as you both dug in before the pancakes could get cold.
You felt Ana Maria stop next to you and as you looked up, she stared at you.
You frowned at her: “What?”
“Wait.“, she said, her hand reaching out to remove some jam from the corner of your mouth.
You could feel the heat rise into your cheeks.
“Oh thanks.“, you laughed.
“You’re welcome.“
“You know what I missed? Those lazy mornings.“, you told her, biting you lip.
Ana Maria nodded slowly: “Me too. And I can’t wait to have more of those with you soon.“
“Same.“, you beamed and held up your coffee cup so Ana Maria could clink hers against it in a toast.
Maybe this was only for now but you decided to see this morning as a taste of your future together.

The Speed Of Light
Pairing: Rafe Cameron x Reader
Warnings: N/A
Pronouns: She/Her
Word Count: 0.7K
Summary: All Y/N wants is to be in Rafe's arms and he is prepared to do that no matter what it takes.
A/N: Inspired by this post.

Distance from Rafe isn’t something Y/N often struggles with. Sure, she likes to cuddle with him and be in physical contact with him, but she doesn’t need to do it every second of the day. She likes to have her alone time and Rafe respects that need. However, something in her today just craved to be in his hold and unlucky for her, this wasn’t his day off. In fact, he is supposed to stay late to help his dad with paperwork. She knows she shouldn’t ask him to come home, yet all she wants is to be in his arms right now. She takes her phone out and sends him a text: Are you coming home soon? His reply is just as quick. No, Bunny. I’ll probably be home past dinner time, so you can eat without me.
Oh…
Why oh? Is everything okay?
Everything is fine. I just miss you. That’s all. She quickly follows the text with I won’t bother you anymore. I’ll let you get back to work.
Rafe is already standing at his desk and heading to his dad’s office before she can send the second text. “I know I said I would work late tonight, but Y/N needs me. I’ll finish it tomorrow morning,” he informs his dad, not asking for permission because he doesn’t care if he has it. Ward looks up from the report he is looking at, “Okay, that’s fine. Say hello to Y/N for me.” Rafe nods, going to his car without thought. I’m on my way, Bunny. She can’t hide her massive grin once she sees the message. It’s been around thirty minutes and Rafe isn’t home yet, which is strange because it should only take ten minutes to get here from his workplace. She grows worried that something happened to him, so she calls him. “Hi, Bunny,” he greets through the speakerphone. She sighs in relief, “I thought something bad happened to you. Why aren’t you home yet?” “You are very clingy today aren’t you, Bunny?” he playfully teases. “I’m sorry I scared you and I’m not home yet, but they closed a bunch of roads and there was an accident. Apparently, the Outer Banks can get pretty bad traffic.”
“Well, can’t you use your boyfriend or Cameron's powers to get you through?” she pleads, kneading at the pillow. He chuckles, “I don’t think they can do anything about the traffic, Bunny. I’m sorry. I will be there at the speed of light though, I promise. Why don’t you go get ready? I’ll take you out to dinner.” “Hmm, I don’t want to go out for dinner. Can you pick up something at the Wreck instead? I want to cuddle,” she explains. He shakes his head with a smile, “Okay, I can do that. I’ll be there as soon as I can.” “Thank you. I love you. See you soon,” she states. His heart swells, “I love you too. Bye.” He hands up the phone.
———
Ten minutes later, which is way faster than Y/N thought he would be coming, she hears his truck in the driveway. She flings the door open to see him with his arms held open to her. She runs into his arms, giving him a tight squeeze. He presses his kiss to her temple. She takes in the scent of his colognes, “How did you get home so fast?” “I told you I would be home at the speed of light,” he recounts. “Plus, I guess my Cameron powers were better than I thought because I was able sweet talk Shoupe to open up another road and Mike owed me a favour so he got our food out real fast.” She looks up at him with big eyes, “You did all of that for me?” “Of course. I would do anything for you, Bunny. Now, come on. Let’s eat,” he says with his lips against her forehead. He takes her inside and flops on the couch, throwing his arm over the back of the couch so she can settle in beside him. That night is spent cuddled up on the sofa, eating and watching TV.

Running a cozy little bed and breakfast and hobo!Patrick charms you into letting him stay for free
The little bell sat on the front desk dinging broke your attention from the coffee you were in the process of making yourself. Walking through the doorway between the kitchen and front entryway, you smile, seeing the disheveled man before you, tapping his fingers against the desk mindlessly.
“Hi, um, I was wondering if I could get a room for the night,” the man asked, tired eyes meeting yours hopefully.
“Of course, it’s $100 a night and that includes breakfast in the morning.” You don’t miss how clearly attractive he is. He looks to be around your age —maybe a little older— and has a sort of swagger that you can’t exactly describe, even despite his tired state.
As he held his credit card up to the machine on the end of the desk, the hopeful look in his eyes seemed to dissipate. He chuckled, looking up at you and offering a tight lipped smile as if it was just a mistake with the machine. “One second…” he murmured, pulling out his phone to check his bank account. You didn’t miss the quiet “oh fuck” that left his mouth as he looked down at his phone before putting it back in his pocket.
He leaned on the desk, laughing dryly as a smirk crossed his face. “So uh… funny story, sweetheart. I’m sort of short on funds. But I’m a tennis player, I’m playing in the challenger a couple miles down the road and if I could just crash here tonight I can pay you back when I win…” His expression is smug but his voice drips with desperation. You can see the dark circles under his eyes and the way his eyelids hang low. He’s endearing, but admittedly smells sort of… ripe. And his pleading eyes really sell it all. How could you say no to him?
Smiling at him again, trying to be warm and understanding, not wanting to embarrass him for his lack of funds, you nod. “Um- sure, you can stay here tonight without paying… yet, that is. As long as you’re sure you’ll win that thing.”
“Oh, I don’t think we have to worry about that,” he muses cockily. “But I get a minimum for just playing in the first round anyways, so even if I lose tomorrow I’ll be able to pay you,” he tacks on seriously.
“Alrighty,” you nod again. “You can follow me up to your room.”
The two of you walk silently up the stairs where 4 doors lie in a small hallway. You open one up, motioning for him to enter as you turn the lights on. The room is quaint but in a cozy sort of way. You ensure he’s settled in and knows where everything is before moving for the door, ready to leave him be. Something in you, though, longs to keep him around as long as you can. His charming air has captured you.
“Have you already eaten dinner,” you ask, turning to look at him, leaning on the doorframe.
Something flashes across his face —surprise maybe. He seems genuinely flattered by your question. Maybe it was just the fact that he hadn’t actually eaten, too eager to get where he was going and concerned he wouldn’t have enough gas if he pulled off the highway to stop anywhere, or maybe it was because he found you irresistible, but he felt a pang of hunger (which type, who’s to say?) in that moment.
“No, I, uh… I haven’t eaten, actually,” he replies gently.
You hum in understanding. “Well I was going to make myself some grilled cheese and tomato soup if you want any? It’s the slow season here so it’s just you and me, but you’re welcome to join if you like.” He nods as you leave with another sweet smile, heading down to the kitchen.
Right as you’re getting the second sandwich out of the pan, your heart footsteps on the creaky floorboards, alerting you of his presence. “Oh, hi. Dinner’s ready.”
He nods, taking a seat at the small table in the kitchen. You bring over his food, then yours, before moving to the fridge, asking if he wanted anything to drink. “Got any beer,” he asks carelessly. You turn around holding two beers in your hands, smiling from ear to ear.
Over dinner the two of you talk about his tennis career, where he strategically avoids telling you about his sort of ‘fall from grace’ and how he got to the point he got to. You’re impressed, of course. He asks you about what made you start a b&b in some random countryside town, to which you tell him how it had been run by your late grandmother before you took over when your parents decided they didn’t want the business. He comments how nice it was for you to do something like that.
Despite his obviously sort of sleazy vibe, he’s been so kind thus far. You’re completely enraptured in him and he knows it too. He can see it in the way you look at him and the way you bite your lip when he says something sort of risqué and the way you rub your thighs together when he stretches, revealing the tiniest bit of his toned abdomen.
The night ends with him in your room instead of his own, taking out all of his troubles on you in the most pleasant ways imaginable. Safe to say, you let him stay through the whole challenger, no longer really worried about the money, but more about the devilishly handsome man before you.

The woods stretched far beyond what the eye could see, the towering trees casting long shadows as the sun began its descent. The three of you had been walking all day—Joel, Ellie, and you—through the overgrown wilderness, following an old path barely visible beneath layers of fallen leaves. When Joel finally called for a break, Ellie groaned in relief and threw her backpack down.
"Finally! Thought we were gonna walk ‘til my feet fell off," she muttered, flopping down onto a mossy patch of earth.
You chuckled, stretching your aching legs. "This seems like a good place to set up camp, doesn’t it?"
Joel, ever the cautious one, took a slow glance around before nodding. "Yeah. Looks clear. We’ll set up here."
Ellie wasted no time setting up her own tent, her movements practiced and efficient. Meanwhile, you rummaged through your backpack for the small bundle of supplies you had packed for dinner. As you pulled out a few cans and some seasonings, Joel stepped up beside you.
"Need help with that?" he asked, his deep voice low and rough.
You looked up at him and smiled. "Yeah. Could you get a fire going? I’ll start on dinner."
He nodded and got to work, gathering kindling while you prepped the food. Once the fire was crackling, Joel knelt beside you and helped cook, his hands steady as he held the frying pan over the flames. The sound of sizzling food filled the quiet clearing, and soon the rich, mouthwatering aroma spread through the air.
Ellie, of course, took notice immediately. "Damn, that smells good. What are we having?"
"Whatever we got," you replied with a smirk, stirring the contents of the pan. "Which, if I’m being honest, isn’t much. But it’ll do."
"Better than eating another stale granola bar," she mumbled, rubbing her stomach. "I swear I’m gonna turn into one if I keep eating ‘em."
Joel chuckled, shaking his head. "Eat up while it’s hot."
The three of you sat around the fire, plates in hand, eating in comfortable silence. Every now and then, you felt Joel’s gaze on you. It wasn’t the first time you’d caught him watching you, but tonight, something about it felt different. He wasn’t just observing—he was thinking, contemplating.
When dinner was finished, Ellie stretched her arms above her head with a yawn. "Alright, I’m tapping out. See you losers in the morning."
"Sleep tight, kiddo," Joel murmured as she trudged to her tent.
You, on the other hand, hesitated before standing. "I should turn in too. Long day tomorrow."
Joel gave a slow nod but said nothing, his eyes lingering on you as you made your way to the tent you were sharing. Crawling into your sleeping bag, you settled in, sighing at the warmth it provided against the chilly night air.
A few minutes passed before Joel entered. The tent was small, barely enough room for both of you, but somehow, it felt comforting to have him so close. He adjusted his sleeping bag, lying down with a tired groan.
For a while, silence stretched between you. Then, Joel cleared his throat. "You still awake?"
You turned your head toward him, your heart picking up just a little. "Yeah."
His voice was quieter now, softer. "I been thinkin’ ‘bout somethin’."
You propped yourself up on one elbow, watching him in the dim light. "What is it?"
Joel exhaled slowly, his fingers drumming lightly against his sleeping bag. Then, before you could react, he shifted, leaning over you, pinning you gently beneath him. Your breath hitched, heat rising to your cheeks as his intense brown eyes met yours.
"Joel—"
"Just listen," he murmured, his voice thick with something you couldn’t quite place—something deep and raw. "I know this world ain’t got room for things like this. Like us. But I can’t help it. I care about you, Y/N. More than I should."
Your pulse pounded in your ears. "Joel…"
"I ain’t good at this kinda thing," he admitted, shaking his head slightly. "But I need you to know—every time I look at you, every time you laugh or even just breathe near me, it feels like somethin’ I don’t deserve. But I’ll be damned if I let you go."
His words sent a rush of warmth through you, a feeling so strong it almost hurt. Slowly, you lifted a hand to his face, cupping his cheek. His stubble was rough under your fingers, but he leaned into your touch, closing his eyes for a brief moment, as if savoring it.
"Joel," you whispered, your heart aching. "You don’t have to say it if you’re not ready. But I feel it. I know."
He opened his eyes, something like relief flickering across his face. Then, before you could say anything else, he leaned down, his lips brushing against yours in a hesitant, almost desperate kiss. You melted into it, your hand slipping into his hair as he deepened the kiss, pouring every unspoken word, every bottled-up emotion into it.
When he finally pulled away, he rested his forehead against yours, his breathing uneven. "I’ll protect you, Y/N. You and Ellie. No matter what."
Your lips curled into a soft smile. "I know you will."
Outside the tent, there was a sudden rustle, followed by a very distinct, very familiar voice muttering, "Jesus Christ, finally."
Both you and Joel froze. Your eyes widened. "Ellie?!"
"I—uh—" There was a pause. "I was just checking to make sure you guys weren’t, y’know, dead. Or getting eaten by infected. But, uh… carry on."
Your face burned with embarrassment as you buried it in Joel’s shoulder. He let out a deep sigh, shaking his head. "Go to sleep, Ellie."
"Yeah, yeah," she grumbled, her footsteps retreating to her own tent. "Just don’t be gross about it."
As silence settled once more, you and Joel exchanged amused glances. Then, with a quiet chuckle, he pulled you closer, wrapping his arms around you as you both finally let yourselves rest.

Reassurances
Requested Here!
Pairing: Dominique Luca x fem!reader
Summary: Luca's fellow S.W.A.T. members tease him for dating someone who is younger and out of his league. Though he knows they mean well, sometimes he needs your reassurances.
Warnings: brief angst, insecurities, teasing, fluffy comfort!!
Word Count: 1.7k+ words
A/N: Luca deserves all the love!!! He gives the best hugs in the world, I just know it. (Sorry if he's OOC, this is my first time writing for him, but I will be adding him to my character list if anyone has more requests for him!)
Tumblr media
“Luca! Your daught- sorry, your girlfriend’s here, cradle robber!” Rocker calls when he sees you.
“Knock it off, Rocker,” Hondo replies, turning to Luca to add, “The brainwashed model is here.”
“Guys,” Deacon chides. “Take it easy.”
“Thank you, Deac,” you say, waving as you walk past them to the situation room.
“Hey, what’re you doing here?” Luca asks, pulling you into a hug.
“Just wanted to see you. I was in the neighborhood,” you answer, practically melting at Luca's touch.
“You’re sure everything’s okay?” he checks, pulling back to look at your face.
Smiling as you look into his icy blue eyes, you nod.
“Oh, I got you something while I was out this morning,” you remember. “Want it now or later?”
Luca’s gaze flits over your shoulder, looking at his team and a few members of 50-David not so inconspicuously watching you. “Later sounds good.”
“Luca,” you say quietly, “you know they’re just teasing.”
“Yeah, yeah, I know.” Forcing a smile back on his face, Luca returns his full attention to you. “What else do you have planned today?”
“Not much. I’m probably gonna go sit at your house and wait for you to get home.”
Luca chews the inside of his bottom lip, debating if he should tell you that you can do whatever you want and that you don’t have to make special trips to see him.
“Hey,” you say, tapping his chest. “I want to see you. But if you’re busy, that’s fine.”
“No, ‘s not that, just…”
“Luca, I want to.”
Luca nods, his eyes and smile dropping as you approach him. Wrapping your arms around his waist, you squeeze him tightly.
“Okay, I get it,” he says through a laugh, tapping your back.
“I’ll see you tonight, then?” you ask, tilting your chin to catch his eyes.
“See you tonight,” he assures, rubbing between your shoulder blades.
As you exit S.W.A.T. HQ, you’re glad Rocker left already. 20-David’s teasing is clearly all in good fun, but Rocker always takes it too far, instilling doubts in Luca. You will never grow tired of reminding him that you love him, want him, and will choose him over and over for the rest of your life, but sometimes you want to put the other S.W.A.T. members in their place.
✯✯✯✯✯
While you get comfortable at Luca’s house, he counts the minutes until he can pull you into his arms again.
“Big plans tonight?” Deacon asks.
“Just a night in,” Luca answers.
“Only option at your age, isn’t it?” Street jokes.
Luca doesn’t reply, and Street looks at Tan. The rest of 20-David shake their heads at each other, acknowledging that they took it a step too far.
“Luca, I didn’t-“ Street begins.
“It’s good,” Luca answers, closing his locker. “See you tomorrow, guys.”
“Bye, Luca,” Deacon calls. He turns toward Hondo, who shrugs.
“We may need to lay off him for a few days,” Hondo suggests.
“Trouble in paradise?” Rocker asks as he enters the locker room. “She remember there’s guys who don’t need to early bird discount?”
When no one replies, Rocker raises his head and asks, “Is he okay?”
“We don’t know,” Street answers, looking at Luca’s locker. “But he has to be. If he’s not, it’s our fault.”
✯✯✯✯✯
The door opens, and you rush to greet Luca, wrapping your arms around him as he closes the door. You know something is wrong when his arms don’t immediately circle you.
“Luca,” you say softly, pushing your fingers through his hair, disturbing the gel he put in it this morning. “Do you want to talk about it?”
He shakes his head, his shoulders lowered and drawn toward each other.
“Do you want to sit with me for a while? I, for one, could use some good company.”
“You could get better company,” Luca whispers.
Sighing, you wrap your hands around Luca’s arm, leading him to the couch. After you push him to sit, you turn toward the kitchen to get him a drink, but his hand leaps up and catches your wrist. The questioning look in his eye, like he thinks you are leaving him, is enough to break your heart. Kneeling before the couch, you raise your hands to Luca’s cheeks.
“Look at me?” you request.
When he lifts his tired, glassy eyes to you, you silence. You’re not immune to insecurities - no one really is - but seeing Luca questioning you and your relationship like this is especially painful.
“You’re all I’ll ever want,” you promise. “I will choose you, Luca, every single day.”
Luca shakes his head, and you gently press your hands against his cheeks as you comfort him.
“You wanna know something about me?” Luca’s gaze raises back to your face, and you say, “I could marry you right now.”
Sniffling, Luca leans closer to you. Moving your hands down to either side of his neck, you lean between his knees, pressing your weight into the couch.
“The guys,” Luca begins, taking a shaky breath. “I know they’re just teasing, but they’re right about so much, you know?”
“No, I don’t. Tell me what you think they’re right about.”
“You’re too young for me, way out of my league… You could do better than me.”
“Can I ask a question, and promise not to take it the wrong way?”
Luca shrugs, and you crack a small smile.
“You have to at least say you’ll try,” you add.
“I’ll try.”
“Why’s it bothering you so much today? Some days you roll with the punches, and joke with them. Today was different, though. Did something change?”
Dropping his chin, Luca presses his face against your arm beside his jaw.
“It’s me, right?” you ask. “You realized you’re in way better shape than me, that this whole time you’ve been out of my league.”
“What?” Luca mumbles against your forearm.
“I mean, you work out all the time for work, chasing down bad guys and jumping out of helicopters. You got tired of my joints cracking every time I stand up, right?”
“That’s ridiculous,” Luca says with a chuckle.
“Exactly.”
Luca shakes his head, and you wipe a stray tear from his cheek. You stand, keeping your hands on him as a tangible promise that you’re not going anywhere. Luca looks up at you from the couch, following your movement.
“I mean it,” you reiterate, “I could marry you right now. Dressed like this, and that’s saying a lot.”
Dressed in a stretched-out t-shirt that once belonged to Luca and your favorite, comfiest bottoms, you hope you’re getting your point across.
“How are you not tired of me yet?” Luca asks. “We have this conversation too often.”
“I don’t mind telling you how I feel. Luca, I love you, and I will scream it from the rooftops… maybe not this rooftop because you moved to a neighborhood filled with known gangs.”
You sigh as Luca finally returns your hug, wrapping his arms around your waist and pushing a hand under your shirt to press against your back.
“Tell me,” you murmur.
“I know you love me,” he answers. Moving his hand further up your spine, he adds, “And I love you.”
You smile, turning to sit beside Luca. He leans against you, his eyes stuck to yours as he smiles.
“Don’t ever listen to Rocker, he’s an idiot. I don’t know how he got married before you.”
“Maybe he’s the one that brainwashed somebody.”
Chuckling, you agree with Luca before remembering the surprise you got him. Moving out from underneath him, you disappear into the guest bedroom, and when you reemerge, Luca is watching for you.
“It’s not much,” you begin, “but I got you this.”
Luca pulls you back onto the couch before extending his hand. You lay the small package in his palm, turning to watch him open it.
As Luca removes the paper hiding the gift, you realize you are the lucky one in this relationship regardless of what he thinks about who is out of whose league.
Luca moves his hand to catch the two toys that fall toward his lap. Turning them over, he smiles as he looks at the diecast cars.
“Is this supposed to be Black Betty?” he asks, raising the vintage Hot Wheels S.W.A.T. van.
“I saw it and thought of you. Like I said it’s not much, but-“
“It’s perfect,” Luca interjects. “You’re perfect.”
Leaning toward him, you take the van from his hand so he can examine the matching police car.
“You deserve nice things, Luca,” you remind him. “And you deserve to be happy with whoever you want, no matter what your team says.”
Luca nods, setting the cars on the table before pulling you into his arms. He doesn’t always have the words to say, but his actions and everything he does for you show you that he loves you and wants you, even when thinking he doesn’t deserve you.
✯✯✯✯✯
When you walk into S.W.A.T. HQ the next week, after receiving a less-than-informative text from Luca, you cross your fingers that any teasing he encounters won’t push him as far as last time.
“Somebody get a chair lift for Luca! He needs to get to another level before she realizes she left him behind!” Street yells when he sees you.
Luca hears the commotion as Tan and Hondo join in on the teasing and rushes out to meet you. He hugs you, keeping an arm around your shoulders as he leads you toward the situation room.
“What’s it like dating someone who’s so far out of your league?” Rocker asks, a teasing smile on his face.
“At least we have standards and didn’t scrape the bottom of the dating barrel,” Luca replies, “but that’s more of your thing, right?”
Rocker’s jaw drops, and you press your lips together to stifle a laugh. 20-David, however, doesn’t try to hide their amusement, turning their teasing to Rocker as they follow him out of the ring.
“That was unexpected,” you say, smiling as Luca continues walking again.
“Still want to marry me?”
“Of course,” you answer without hesitation. “Wait, right now?”
Luca raises his brows, smiling as he runs his tongue over his bottom lip. “Not what I meant, but why not? You’re all I’ll ever want.”
Luca cups your jaw, and you whisper, “Reassurances are my job.”

part 0.16. REMEMBER IN THE MORNING
“i’ll be your morning bright goodnight shadow machine i'll be your record player baby if you know what i mean i was your starry-eyed lover and the one that you saw we were just two moonshiners on the cusp of a breath and i've been burning for you baby since the moment i left."

after his last text, she’s waiting in silence, staring up towards the shadowed ceiling of her dark room.
she’d been caught off guard initially by his texts, and it had only worsened the longer it went on. her throat felt like it was going to close up. one moment he was calling her out and saying his own sweet things, and the next he was brushing everything off. she wasn’t sure what to trust and what not to. he was adamant about denying having a part in any of the pictures he had sent, but this wasn’t the first time something like this had happened. there was the flower box, too, and the story osamu had told her.
now that she thought about it, it had lined up too well. a fire extinguisher box that suna had put up instead of a flower box, which omi had accidentally mistaken for the extinguisher box? it was convoluted to even think about, and way too coincidental.
but she couldn’t bring it up now, that was months ago and it’d be wrong of her to try and coax the truth out of him when he was obviously drunk, no matter how much he tried to deny it. she almost jumps when her phone lights up again and starts buzzing, her ringtone playing through her headphones as she stares at the screen for a second.
she’s going to answer, of course, but she almost wishes she had said no to calling. she’s not sure what they’ll talk about tonight or what he’ll remember in the morning. she’s not sure if she should bring up anything he’s said so far ever again in case it affects their relationship.
she’d be heartbroken if he blamed whatever he said tonight on being drunk (in contrast to how insistent he was currently being that he would say these things if he wasn't intoxicated), but she’d also feel equally as nauseous if they never talked about this night again.
she blinks rapidly, feeling tears well up in her eyes. ‘what was she crying for?’ perhaps she's realized that they've both already gone too far. when they woke up in the morning, things wouldn’t be the same anymore. one look at their texts and he would read that she had stupidly admitted to having tweeted about him before, and she would have no excuse for her actions.
she needed to answer the phone.
she wiped her arms with her sleeve, taking a deep breath for answering.
“hi,” she speaks softly, starting their conversation off as she always does.
“hi,” he says back like he always does, although tonight his voice is a little breathy.
she starts to play with the edge of her sheets, unsure of what to do with herself, “are we calling to talk about something in particular?”
she can hear him shift around in his own bed before he gives her a noise of disagreement, “no... i guess you were right, i really just want to sleep but i like falling asleep on call with you. ‘makes me feel like i’m there with you.”
she almost turns on her phone to hit the mute button as she chokes back a noise of surprise, face turning red. she’s paralyzed in her bed, mind trying to formulate a response. “oh. i like being on the phone with you too,” she immediately slaps her head at her own lame reply. she was trying to convince herself that he just likes her presence. all friends like each other’s presence. he didn’t mean anything more. “you’re sleeping on your side, right?”
he hums out a small noise of agreement, probably already half asleep, and the thought makes her smile. “okay, well then goodnight, suna. i’ll see you tomorrow when you get back.” she turns onto her own side, eyes closing as she tries to calm herself down.
his voice makes her eyes snap open again, “call me rin.”
she’s at a loss for words. is he asking her to say it or just reminding her?
“you keep switching between ‘suna’ and ‘rin,’” he mumbles slowly, words slurring together. at least she knows he’s definitely drunk. “i know you said i wasn’t pressuring you to call me it, but the way you never remember on your own makes me think you don’t want to call me it.”
“no i–” she has to take a shaky breath as quietly as possible. “i want to. i promise. it just feels so personal. like i still can’t believe you want me to call you it. and i don’t know— sometimes you get a look on your face when i call you it so i thought maybe you didn’t like it and wanted to change your mind.”
he lets out a laugh and she ends up kicking off her blanket, suddenly too hot to be under any cover. “you’re funny. and horrible at overthinking, you know that?” she tries her best not to cry out of embarrassment.
“i just make that face because it surprises me. i’m not used to it yet but i want to be. i like when you call me rin. i like it a lot.” she almost feels dizzy, hearing his voice come in through her headphones.
she tries to rationalize with herself: he’s drunk. he’s going to say things that he doesn’t mean. “you’re drunk, suna,” she forces herself to say, “i’m not gonna listen to anything you say right now.”
“call me rin,” he repeats again, almost sounding like he’s begging her. her heart is racing, and she can’t even bring herself to say no to him again. “call me rin, please. i’ll tell you it’s okay again in the morning. i swear.”
she’s staring straight ahead at her wall now, not even sure if she’s breathing. finally, she takes a deep breath, exhaling as she responds, “okay, fine.” she feels a little stupid doing it, but she turns onto her other side, facing her phone as if he’s there with her. “goodnight, rin. see you tomorrow.”
she can almost feel the smile in his voice as he responds, but she can’t see it. see that he really is smiling, and he’s turned onto his side, facing his phone as well, “goodnight, y/n.”

Star | Eggsy Unwin x Reader
you’re a rising pop star who falls to victim under Valentines plan
this is based off Tate Mcraes, 2 songs, sports car and run for the hills! (Run for the hills lyrics will be in pink, sports car in red!)
Tumblr media
“You can come out when you’ve agreed to the terms.” Valentine says, shutting the little window to the seems like cell. “This is heinous.” I whisper under my breath; looking around the room. I sit down on the couch trying to figure out what to do. I never thought my father would be this stupid and agree to whatever Valentine was blabbing about.
It feels like forever has passed, when I hear someone outside of the door talking. I hurry up and run to the door and open the little window. “Can you get me out!” I ask, the man turns around, confused.
“Ain’t you that pop star who’s supposed to be on tour?” He questions me, “Well, yeah but how am i supposed to be on stage if I’m in here? Can you please get me out? And how do you know who I am?” The man goes quiet.
“Never mind…can you just get me out?”
“If I do, will you give me a kiss? I’ve always wanted to see what it was like to kiss you.” I raise my eyebrows, “I’ll do more than give you a kiss. I’ll give you back stage passes, anything you want!” The boy smiles, but the smile quickly fades.
“Sorry love, gotta save the world.” I sigh, “If you save the world, I’ll let you take me out.” His smile returns on his face. “I’ll be right back.” Next thing I know, he’s gone.
A couple days go by since the V-Day crisis and have held tour off for another week. This also happens to be the day Eggsy and I have our first date. After he saved saved the world,
“Did you save the world?” I giggle, “Yes I did” he smiles. “I’ll get you out now.” I close the little window and hear the door open. “y/n” I tell him, holding my hand out for him to shake. “Eggsy” he replies back.
I wasn’t really the dating type. I liked doing things on my own and having my own freedom but it wouldn’t hurt giving Eggsy a chance since, he did in fact save the world.
I fix my makeup and earrings, when I hear a knock on my apartment door. “Hi.” Eggsy says, handing me a bouquet of roses. “Aw, this is sweet Eggsy. Thank you!” He gives me a big smile.
I sit the flowers in an empty pot that I have been waiting to use. I take Eggsys hand and follow him out. “You still never answered my question, by the way.”
“And what would that be?”
“How’d you know who I was. Not many guys listen to my music and you sure don’t seem like the type.” Eggsy chuckles and puts his head down. “Maybe I do listen to your music and maybe I’ve had a bit of a crush on you for a while.” I couldn’t help but let out a giggle.
“And you couldn’t have told me that before?”
“How could I tell a beautiful woman, who was locked in a, basically, cell that I listen to her music and think she’s very stunning?” I could see Eggsy blush. “You’re not too bad yourself.” I tell him softly.
He just smiles.
“I’ll take you to the studio tomorrow, if you’d like.” Eggsys face lights up, “Really? You’d do that?” I hum in response. “That would be awesome.”
Dinner goes by smoothly and I liked spending time with Eggsy. Before I knew it, it was time to say goodbye. We stood at my apartment door, “I really liked dinner and uh, spending time with you tonight.” I say in embarrassment of telling a guy i enjoyed his company.
“You looked stunning tonight. I hope you’re still on for tomorrow?” I smile, remembering how I invited him to the studio. “Yes, of course.”
“I should probably get going.” My smile fades, “Yeah, me too. Need to freshen up for tomorrow.” Eggsy walks up to me and leaves a kiss on my cheek. “See you tomorrow, love.” He smiles, while walking away. I stand still at my door.
missing a moment when you’re still there. You gotta thing you can’t find nowhere.
Morning rises with my alarm going off. I groan out, not wanting to get up but then i remember: I get to see Eggsy. We are also starting to work on more songs to put on the album. I have to come up with three new songs soon.
I quickly get ready, pulling a hoodie over my head and putting my hair in a messy bun and putting on cute jean shorts to go with it. I head out and get a text from Eggsy asking if I wanted coffee.
Of course I said yes, giving him my favorite coffee order and giving him the address to the studio.
I quickly make my way to the door and greet everyone before heading to my little area to try to write some songs.
“Hey y/n, someone named Eggsy is here for you?” I smile and walk out of the room saying thank you. “Hey!” I greet Eggsy with a hug. “I brought coffee, just as you asked.” He gently gives me my coffee cup. “Ahh, thank you!” Eggsy nods with a smile.
I give Eggsy a tour of the studio before I head back to my writing corner. “I could go, if you’re busy trying to writ-“ i cut him off, not wanting him to go. “No! No, it’s okay. I promise.”
A couple of weeks go by of Eggsy hanging out with me at the studio. Him, somewhat helping with songs but also being a tad distracting with how much my feelings grow towards him every day.
Soon, the visits were cut short, I knew why but I still missed him. His work seemed to come first, even though it was clear of the way Eggsy felt due from the first meeting, I still couldn’t help but wonder, if anything has changed.
cause I know I should be running for the hills. The way you touch me, straight to the heart, yeah, it cuts me. Cause I know deep down that its, never gon’ ever be us. Never gon’ ever be more than something that’s fucking me up.
A night comes too close, when I get a phone call from Eggsy.
“Hey, sorry if I woke you or anything. I just wanted to apologize for how much less time we’ve been spending together. I do miss you and I hope that I can make it up to you with lunch tomorrow? Dinner even?” He says softly, clearly tired.
I go quiet for a moment, “Why don’t you come over here? I can cook us breakfast in the morning and then you can come with me to look at the next place I’m performing at.” I feel my stomach turn into butterflies, basically asking Eggsy to spend the night. I could be moving too fast but it would give us more time together.
“Uh, yeah! Sure, I’ll be over in like 15 minutes.” I smile and hang up. I quickly tidy up the front room and look for some movies. I get into pjs and wait on the couch until I hear a knock at my door.
I smile to open the door to Eggsy.
“I can turn on some movies as well if you want.” I close the door behind him, as he awkwardly stands around. “Make yourself at home, you don’t have to be nervous around me Eggsy.” I giggle, knowing I’m probably just as nervous as him.
“Actually-“ he cuts himself off, going quiet. I turn to look at him, “Can I talk to you about something?” I ask him, he nods. I sit down next to him on the couch. “I don’t know if I’m moving to fast but, I really do enjoy your company and I missed you a lot while you’re out and I really like yo-“ before I could finish, Eggsy cuts me off with a kiss. I was hesitant to kiss back but I let my heart follow, instead of my head.
“I’m sorry about always leaving. I don’t want to leave you all the time. I’m really glad you invited me over because I have been waiting so long to do that.” Eggsy smiles and gets more comfortable on the couch.
We turn on a movie and throughout the movie, Eggsy slowly starts to fall asleep with his head in my lap. I gently run my fingers through his hair as he lets out soft snores. I let myself relax, turning the television off and laying back on the couch, pulling Eggsy with me. He cuddled up to my chest, I close my eyes, not wanting to ever leave this spot.
It quickly becomes morning, I stir around on the couch, feeling an empty spot next to me, where Eggsy was. I slowly got up, looking around the room, Eggsy was not in sight. I sigh before looking at my phone to check messages, to see if he had to leave. There were no messages.
Don’t tease me, and keep me around like it’s easy. When you know deep down that it’s, never gon’ ever be us. Never gon’ ever be more than something that’s fucking me up.
I decide to lay back down, since I don’t have to go to the studio today, and give myself time just to relax. I quickly fall back asleep, with a lot on my mind.
I wake up to feeling kisses all over my face with the smell of pancakes and eggs. I hear a chuckle from Eggsy as I slowly open my eyes. “I made breakfast, I made some of your favorites.” I smile, quickly getting up. “Oh my gosh, Eggsy! How’d you remember?” I don’t even remember mentioning it to him.
“You said it once at the studio and I put it in my notes app on my phone.” He softly says, handing me a plate of eggs and pancakes.
I can’t take no more. I’m going weak in my knees
“I woke up and you were gone. I thought you’d have to leave again.” I practically whisper. “No, love, I’m sorry. I went out and bought some groceries so I could make you breakfast.” I try to hide my smile but it was clear as day.
Many more mornings were like this. Eggsy, making breakfast and waking me up. It feels like time went by quickly when I was around him, when I wish it went by slower.
I was at the studio finishing up my last song of the album so that I could add it to the list to preform at tour. We held tour off for a couple of months, so things would get back to normal and I could put an album out.
I smile as I put my pen down, finishing the last bit of words to my song. I head to the sound room and they start playing the music and I start singing. Eggsy looking at me with nothing but a smile.
“…Oh, but you got a sports car. We can uh-uh in it, while you drive real far..” I continue to sing, looking up at Eggsy.
After we finish recording, I meet Eggsy back in my writing corner. He knocks on the door, “you don’t have to knock you know?” I laugh, as he walks in. He holds out a rose, smiling at me. “I’m proud of you.”
I take the rose and bring him into a kiss. “Thank you. It means a lot to me.” He rubs my back and we head out of the writing corner. “How about dinner to celebrate?” He asks, “sounds good to me!”
“Maybe once we get married, I’ll finally get a song written about me.” He jokes, “Who said that one wasn’t about you?” He pauses walking and looks over at me. I start laughing, running away from him and he runs after me. “Oh, you are so explaining that song to me!”
yeah, you know what this is. Pretty blue street eyes, and my hazel eyes. And if it feels so right, we can go again, like three, four times. So my type, got butterflies.
This was all basically from my friend Dee. Basically her ideas with my writing, so credits to her for the idea!! This is also for her!! @capridee
This is also not proof read, and I feel like it’s not good so I do apologize for those
