"Lame?! You opening a bakery means I can bum around and eat all your leftover donuts at the end of the day... and mayyybe sneak one fresh at the start of the day when you're still sleepy enough not to notice," Vash dares himself to do something that he's never allowed himself to do before: dream. His entire life has been stained with repentance and guiltâeven once Knives was gone, it never made up for the thousands of lives lost because of his stupid actions 400 years ago. Ish.
The only dreams he's ever allowed himself are the ones he has for other people. Maybe that's what this is; it's not his dream, but it is Wolfwood's. This idea, this concept of an 'after' for him is worth protecting with his lifeânot that he plans on dying anytime soon. There's too much to do for Vash to die now, but if it's him or a future for Wolfwood, then...
Stop thinking like that, idiot.
Ah, so the Wolfwood in his head still exists, even as the real Wolfwood sits in front of him now. Perhaps, at some point, the little voice stopped being Wolfwood and became his own instead. It's probably not worth thinking about it right now.
"You are good at makin' stuff," Vash settles down now the other way, laying his head on Wolfwood's thighs. Comfy. "A lot more creative than you think you are. Always focused on improving, dedicated to perfection..."
Vash rubs his cheek against one, satisfied with Wolfwood's warmth and the slight give of the muscle as he lays on it. When he's done, the Plant settles the back of his head into the crease between his legs, eyes trained on the beautiful man above him. The dumbest man alive, falling in love with Vash the Stampede, and Vash can't be more grateful.
"That's my Nic. My Wolfwood. My partner, my honey, my beloved companion, my boyfriend, my everything, my..."
It's easy to fall back into the relationship they had before everything happened. Sweet, a little goofy, devoted, just... them. They have so much to talk aboutâso much that it could take days just to get through, maybe even weeksâbut all Vash wants right now is to get home, take a shower, and hold Wolfwood as close as he possibly can.
"... My beau, my pookie... hmm, there are definitely more..."
Vash already knows the answer to that one, so he doesnât need to dignify that with an answer. If anything, Vash ought to be more impressed that he hasnât fought anyone else either. Petty is the most he can reach for when he canât in good conscience retaliate to Vashâs protective incredulity.Â
And then some.
Wolfwood sighs heavily, determined to take the hail of anxious questions in stride. In a way, itâs nice to be lectured instead of the other way around. Itâs good. Good that Vash has something to focus on instead of his newfound doom and gloom, even if it means fixating on perceived self-neglect on Wolfwoodâs part. He lets Vash fret all he wants.
Two hundred years, plenty worse for wear. He isn't a scientist. He doesn't know if he can fix Vash's erratic power surges. He just knows Vash doesn't have to figure it out or hide from it alone anymore.
âOh, I was lookinâ to get started on self-care sometime this week or the next,â Wolfwood drawls lazily. He was in no particular rush to do anything but find Vash, and heâs accomplished that. The satisfaction of gazing back into Vashâs eyes, tinted a pretty shade of violet as they are like night blooms, is worth more than all the sleepless nights leading up to their reunion. Thereâs a certain thrill in their proximity and the frenzied ions in the air, like a two-step along the edge of a cliff in the middle of a burgeoning storm.
Zap!
Straight to his heart, that particular jolt of energy. Purple clings to the edges of his vision and he swears for a split second he can see the brilliant curving and angled Plant lines on Vash's skin, clear as day, and gone as quickly in the blink of an eye. Power: undeniably Plant, undeniably Vash.Â
Something else, too.
He'd go so far as to call it love, except it's not his. Vash's love. Tender, sweet, like everything he's ever convinced himself he didn't deserve. The way Vash is looking at him, he isn't hallucinating.Â
âOf course, ya damn idiot. And given a chance to do it all over again, I wouldnât change a damn fuckinâ thing,â Wolfwood assures patiently. He leans his face fully into Vashâs hand, never once breaking eye contact from beneath his fringe of messy, dark bangs.Â
Funny, when he thought of the future, he never really considered picturing himself in it.Â
âI dunno,â Nicholas says slowly, taking a moment to really think about what he wants. Something that didn't involve the utter violence so much of his life was mired in. âWould be nice to just make stuff fer once.â
Woodwork was too personal. He had no desire to make his hobby into a profitable craft.Â
âSomethinâ lame, I guess. Like openinâ a bakery.â

world around us
summary: you're a candle in the window on a cold dark winter's night word count: 1k pairing: lando norris x oscar piastri x driver!reader (lilli. it's lilli) warnings: just pure fluff, slightly suggestive language(?) a.n.: final installation of my I need Lilli to have an amazing birthday series! this is once again for @maxlarens HAPPY BIRTHDAY LILLI MY LOVE!!! playlist: completely unhinged songs that fit the vibe
"No no no no no no no! You can't do that! You fuckin' muppet!"
Oscar mirrors your eye roll as Lando protests you placing a house on one of your properties. "She owns it though?" he says tentatively.
Lando scoffs, snatching up the guide and snapping it open. "The rules sayâ"
"I refuse to follow rules when you rolled twice so you wouldn't go to jail," you say with a huff, snatching the guide from him.
"I had to! One of the dice landed on the floor!"
"Oh but when we play golf I have to play no matter where my ball lands?"
"Yes." Lando gives you a look of disbelief, as though the idea of breaking a golfing rule is akin to murder. "It's not my fault you can't hit a ball straight."
"Just for thatâ" You slap more brightly colored money in front of Oscar - Oscar has to be the banker he's the most honest one among us - and grab a hotel to replace the house. "Suffer."
Lando groans, throwing up his hands. "You're cheating. I hate games night."
Oscar's grin shifts and he begins to chuckle. "We could play Trivial Pursuit?"
"No," Lando whines, picking up the dice to take his turn. "That game makes me feel stupid."
"Uno?" you suggest sweetly.
"No, we'll finish this. Capitalism is good to me, I'll make a comeback." Lando nods to himself as he shakes the dice. "Just shut up so I can focus."
And then, twenty minutes laterâ
"What d'you mean I owe you double the rent?!"
The rules are checked - well this is fucking bullshit - and he counts out all of his money to pay up. Suddenly capitalism sucks and he's clinging to his one property block and his cash like they're his lifeline.
You'll never know how (he probably cheated) but he wins. Monopoly money rains down as he celebrates and you fall back with laughter when Oscar flips the board in disgust.
You love games night. The silly playlist Lando put together plays, Disney movies play, muted, on the tv, and you've got them.
Lando and Oscar. Your biggest rivals on the track and your closest friends off. You're celebrating Oscar's first win this week now that summer break is here, enjoying the lazy days before you each take off in different directions to visit family and recuperate from an exhausting first half of the season.
"Loser cleans up," you remind Oscar and he groans as he gives you a kiss then begins picking up the mess. Lando's singing along to the latest country song he's obsessed with - Is it your heart or mine? Is it whiskey or wine? Is it somethin' in the night Makin' us wanna cross that line? - and he follows you into the kitchen to get more drinks.
"You sure you don't want to come along with me?" he asks, reaching around you to get a beer from the fridge.
"Let me see... Golfing with a bunch of men versus beach time with my best friendsâŠ" You hum thoughtfully, squealing when loops an arm around you.
"That can't be right. Me and Osco are your best friends," he says.
"Let me rephrase. Best women friends."
He's holding you close, swaying a little to the song playing - you think Oscar's the one who added ABBA, or maybe it was you - and you smile a little as you sway with him. He hums songs without realizing it and it's one of his more endearing habits.
"But I'll miss you," he murmurs, tucking his chin on your shoulder.
"I'll miss you too." And you will. This season you've grown closer to him. Literally, considering he finally talked you - and Oscar - into moving to Monaco. But also figuratively. You're just as rough on yourself as he is on himself, and with all the macho bravado that surrounds you every race week, it's nice to have someone who understands your being upset over missing out on a podium due to your own failings as a driver, your miscommunication with the team. It's rarer to have someone who understands shouldering the blame of the team's missteps â if I was better at this, they would trust my judgment but I'm not so they don't and that meansâ
"Not getting sappy on me are you?" Lando teases.
"You started it," you mutter. Turning, you wrap your arms around him. "We can live a few weeks without each other."
"I mean⊠You'll text right? Call?" he asks softly.
"FaceTime too," you promise.
It's tentative and new and so fucking scary but he gives you a soft kiss. Not your first with him, but it still makes your heart do that weird little flutter that it's only ever done with one other person.
"Jenga?" Oscar calls from the living room and Lando perks up instantly, nearly knocking you down in his haste to get back to the only other person he's going to miss during break.
Jenga with your boys is impossible. They're too competitive, know too many things they can say that make the other break and send the blocks flying.
"Oh of course he's going for the bottom, man loves to be at the bottom," Oscar mutters to you and Lando's giggling, covering his face with his hands as the tower collapses.
The games are abandoned, and you're squished on the couch between them, Oscar's lips on your ear, Lando's head on your stomach as the three of you, tipsy and relaxed, begin making plans for the last days of break while a Studio Ghibli movie plays. It's not said by either of you, but you already know that the three of you will find each other long before the break is over.
The world is easier to bear when it's the three of you together. It's still new, still tentative, still scary as hell, but it feels oh so right.

yooooo!!! youâre my favorite ethan winters artist i just wanna say that first and foremost, thank you for the wholesome content of my comfort character and father figure đ„čđ«¶
iâm really curious bc i feel like i see a lot of people against mithan (not me personally, iâm p neutral on them!) but iâm curious to know all your thoughts on them! thoughts on their canon relationship, their fanon portrayal, the backlash against them/mia accusations, and your headcanons? iâm just really interested!!! hopefully thatâs not weird :â)
have a good day!! sparkle on!!! âšđ
i heart mithan... i think that they can be so cute...
i personally hc them t4t and i like to think that the dated in highschool before they both had fully transitioned
mia likes to bake and ethan likes to scrap book and he always likes to take pictures of mias cakes/ baked goods and has a album for them đ
i am a multishipper so i draw a lot of ethan ships so my girl is left out sometimes and im sorry mia đ
i actually really like their relationship, its a really complex dynamic that i like to talk about with my friends
i think the issue is that when talking about mithan or mia in general, theres just SO MUCH misinformation that its honestly a pain the butt to talk about
people still think that she was responsible for the creation of eveline, people still think that she experimented on eveline, people still use examples of her attacking ethan as if she did it on her own will instead of being mind controlled
in reality she was just someone who oversaw the transportation of evie. im not excusing her or anything because obviously she knew what she was doing, but people really try to accuse her of doing something she didnt and it bothers me alot lol
the problem with the fandom is that people either try to water her down to girlboss who did nothing wrong and fail to acknowledge the complexity/ moral grayness of her character and the other side is misogynists đđđđ
its hard to talk about her without people either going "stop trying to villainize her and make her look bad!" or people ACTUALLY villainizing her and acting like heisenberg would have treated him better đđ
mithan is such a sad relationship because they loved each other so much and that ended up being the reason their relationship fell apart (sort of... its not like the broke up... ethan kinda just straight up died)
i get a lot a trouble for saying this, but mia is a selfish person.
its not a bad thing! well i mean it is but it doesnt make her some evil witch who is somehow worse than the guy how made a werewolf american ninja warrior. its just a major character flaw she has! which is good! mia being a flawed person who makes mistakes and morally gray decisions make her a more interesting person!
she is selfish in the way that she wants to keep her family with her no matter the cost. even if it means lying to ethan about her job so that he wont think different of her. here is a interrogation from the re7 DLC, which is easy to miss!
she isnt necessarily trying to apologize for the things she has done, she is more of a, "u wont need to forgive me in the first place if we just forget it all and move on"
she doesn't try to redeem herself for what she has done, she tries to move on and return to the normal life that she wants so bad. which is fine! everyone copes a different way and she has to right to move on from her trauma. the problem that lies in this is that she has a shared trauma with ethan who still has no idea what went on in dulvey and still effects him till the present (he is mold! this is a important thing to know! most people would want to know if they were a walking corpse)
she played a direct part in what happened in dulvey, and im not referring to the email, she did not send that. she never wanted ethan to come in the first place. she tried her best to send a video to him, begging him to forget about her because she wanted to protect him, BUT it didnt send.
he got involved because she was involved. its honestly a series of really really unfortunate events.
THOUGH! she did know what she was getting into. im tired of seeing the narrative that mia was innocent and didnt know what was going on or was simply a bystander. she knew what she was doing, she knew eveline was a bioweapon, she knew eveline was a child. she used a MACHINE GUN! she knows how to use weapons and was obviously trained for it.
she tried her best to keep everybody out of the mess, ex: warning the bakers not to take them in, warning ethan not to find her, sacrificing herself for ethan in the later half of re7
but again, those are the consequences of HER actions
her consequences just happen to get really big and end up hitting ethan on the head like a metal sheet đ
their relationship is really so interesting, it makes me really sad to think about sometimes đthey both went through something that nobody else would ever understand, in the end they really only have each other. they get moved to an entire different country and the dulvey incident gets covered up with a "gas leak"
its really tragic because their marriage definitely had some flaws and bumps. and i know im repeating myself but its because people always take this in the worst way possible but just because i say their relationship was rocky doesnt mean im saying they dont love each other!!! thats the entire basis of mias character!! saying she doesnt love ethan would destroy her entire character!
you can see in the re8 DLC how fondly ethan talks about mia! he loves her so much, though im not sure if his comments in the DLC are him narrating current (post re8) or his thoughts before everything went down and he died (pre re8)
everything mia did was because she LOVED ethan. she would never do anything to intentionally hurt him, she is not a cruel person. she hides the truth of her job from ethan pre re7 because she loves him and doesnt want her job to drive them apart. she CONTINUES to refuse to tell ethan the truth post re7 because she wants to move on a live a happy normal life with him and knows something like her being directly associated with the connections would probably cause (more) problems. she refuses to tell ethan that he is mold because again, hard to live a happy marriage with your husband after you tell him hes a bioweapon.
obviously i dont think it was right that she did this, thats what makes her selfish! she did it for herself! she did it for her family! she thought it would work out, she thought that they could move on and be happy together.
the issue is that ethan didnt want to forget. he wanted to know what happened, he wanted to know the part mia played, he wanted answers! which is reasonable! he knows to some extent that mia was partially responsible for his involvement and he was always suspcious that mia was lying to him about her job which is implied when mia says "you were right, i did lie to you"
she doesnt learn, she doesnt stop lying, her lies get bigger and worse and it sucks yeah but it makes her so interesting!!! she keeps doing stupid things under the idea that this is whats best for her and her family, that if she hides this everything will work out and it will be for the better but its not!
just because telling your husband hes dead and a bioweapon is a hard subject to bring up doesnt mean you DONT bring it up. people shouldnt use that as a reason to excuse mia đ, its a very bad excuse and honestly highlights how horrible their communication skills were. you cant just not tell your husband that he is actually infected with the mold and not tell him for the tree years between post re7 and pre re8.
im not saying these things to put mia down, or try and villanize her. these are all just actual things her character does! she isnt evil, but she isnt a knight in shining armor either. we need to be able to have talks about complex characters without crying everytime someone points out a flaw. characters have flaws! and mia just happens to have a lot of them!
im not mad at her, i dont dislike her because i think this way of her. shes a fictional character! you can like characters that are morally gray, or villains that drink blood and make corpse soldiers. they are fictional! pointing out the flaws of a character does not mean i dont like them.
i wouldnt call her "the real villain of re8" but i wouldnt treat her like a damsel in distress either. she is a competent person, she knows what shes doing, she has her reasons for doing them. she made bad descions with good intentions behind them! they can coexist and we should let them!
i like mithan! its a complex relationship because they both love each other so much but hurt each other in the process
talking about them is just a pain in the butt because talking about mia is a pain in the butt lol
i really hate how she keeps getting sidelined, its super frustrating to see mia get put in a cage in every game đ
its even more frustrating that mia straight up just disappears???? in the shadows of rose DLC... like she just stops taking care of rose and theres nothing said about it. no reason or explanation. i dont think mia would ever ditch rosemary because she didnt care about her, but we probably will never know because capcom sucks at writing and they probably forgot the mia ever even existed.
all in all, i think the fandom is really just full of misinformation which make people either think mia is some horrible evil person, or its full of people who think that saying mia messed up is the equivalent of comparing her to wesker lol.
i really love mia, shes a incredibly fun and complex character, its just hard to enjoy her sometimes with the people in the fandom haha.
also ive got no idea what u meant by "the backlash against them/mia accusations" so sorry if i didnt answer that!
thank u for the ask! sorry for the long response!

Steve had been so on edge ever since he found out about you and Billy. He knows that Tommy and Carol arenât the most honest people. They strive off of chaos, they live for the drama and the lies and constantly make up new things to gossip about but for some reason, he believes their words this time. Billy had been following you around ever since he broke up with youâ he had been running after you for some time now but never like this. You always rejected him, you were taken and not interested but now Steve canât help but wonder, were you truly not interested or were you just rejecting him because you were with him? Were you secretly into Billy all this time? The thought of it makes him feel sick.Â
He sits in his car, bouncing his knee as he stares out the window, waiting for his girlfriend. The parking lot is filled with students, he hears laughter and different voices. He sees Billy walking towards his car, the usual smug and arrogant look resting on his face. He straightens up, looking around to see if youâre around too, wanting to see if you will get in the car with him. What will he do if you do get into his car?Â
âHey!âÂ
Nancyâs voice startles him a little, he tears his eyes away from the blue camaro and turns to look at his girlfriend.Â
âHey Nance,â he smiles. He instantly leans closer to her once sheâs seated, she meets him halfway, kissing him on the lips. Her eyes are closed, his are open and they flash with curiosity when he sees you through his window. You look his way and itâs enough for him to tense up.Â
He expects you to get into Billyâs car but instead you go the other way, you pass by his car and look straight ahead, pretending to not see him or her. He breaks the kiss, Nancy doesnât seem to mind, she leans back and puts the seatbelt on as she begins to talk about her project. Steve hums and nods along, turning his head to see where you are going.Â
Are you going to Heatherâs car? To Chrissyâs car? It turns out to be neither of those, instead you leave the parking lot and walk into the direction of the football field. Where are you going?Â
âI figured that we could rent a movie tomorrow since we canât hang out tonight,â Nancy says, âI really wanna get it done. Itâs been nice to hang out with Jonathan again though, we should all go out together sometime!â
âSure,â Steve mumbles and turns back to her when he no longer sees you.Â
Her brows are raised and a confused smile is on her lips, âwere you even listening?âÂ
He nods, âyeah, you want me to hang out with Byers,â he says with an eye roll.Â
âHey,â Nancy mumbles, hitting his arm, âheâs nice, you just gotta get to know him.âÂ
âSure,â he chuckles, running his fingers through his hair, ânice.âÂ
Nancy shakes her head at him, raising her arm, she pulls down the sun visor and flips open the small mirror, a piece of paper that was tucked into it falls into her lap. Her brows knit together as she looks down at it. She picks it up, itâs just a simple brown paper that was ripped out of a notebook, she turns it around. Annoyance bubbles inside of her when she sees the writing on the note. Itâs not much but itâs from you, itâs not signed but she recognizes your handwriting and the little heart, only you draw it like that.Â
I love youÂ
She presses her lips together and glances over at Steve who is staring into blank space.Â
How long has the note been here? Does he even know that it existed?Â
âHere,â Nancy mumbles and throws it into his lap.Â
Steve glances at her first, brows furrowed and lips parted, he notices the annoyed look on her face. He looks down at the note in his lap. Oh.Â
âI didnât know you still kept her things.â
Steve blinks as he stares at your handwriting. You drew a little heart next to your I love you. He swallows harshly. The weird feeling in his chest returns yet again. He didnât even know the note was thereâ you did things like that all the time, leaving little notes everywhere for him to find. He kept them all.Â
âI donât,â he lies as he puts the note in his pocket after folding it, âI didnât even know it was there. Iâll throw it away later.âÂ
Nancy nods, eyeing him from the side. She doesnât like the way he folded the paper so neatly. He shouldâve crumpled it up and thrown it out the window.Â
âOkay.â
-
The scented candles in your room are lit, making the air smell like pumpkin spice and cinnamon. The light of your salt lamp makes everything appear softer, you never use the big light in your room, you hate it. The policeâs every breath you take is playing in the background.Â
âAre you going to the winter formal?â Chrissy asks as she flips to the next page of her new fashion magazine. You are both laying on your bed, the decoration pillows all over the floor. You look at the pretty dresses in the magazine. You would be wearing one of those next Friday if Steve wasnât such a cheating asshole.Â
âNope.âÂ
She glances at you with a sad look in her eyes, âwe could go together.âÂ
You give her a small smile as you shake your head.Â
âNo, itâs okay,â you say, âI donât feel like going anyway, heâs gonna be there with her.âÂ
She sighs, her lips are set in a frown, âyou know, I never liked him. As much as I hate to say it, Iâm not surprised about his actions but Nancy?â She mumbles, âwho wouldâve thought that sheâs such a.. bitch.âÂ
âYeah, looks deceive, huh?âÂ
âTotally.âÂ
You told your friends about what Nancy said in the girls bathroom when she didnât know that you were there.Â
âShe looks like one of those church girls.âÂ
A surprised laugh leaves your lips, âa church girl?âÂ
âYeah, she wears those ugly long skirts and those preppy blouses that my mom forces me to wear when we go to church on Sundayâs,â she mumbles, rolling her eyes.Â
âIs she a church girl?â You ask.Â
She snorts and shakes her head, âI donât think so, Iâve never seen her around.âÂ
You nod.Â
She flips to the next page, eying all the dresses before her eyes land on the ugliest one, a giggle falling from her lips, she points at it with her pink nails, âlooks like something she would wear.âÂ
You canât help but laugh.Â
âAnd thatâs why she wonât ever be prom queen, thatâll be you,â you say, expecting to see a smile on her face but instead it falls and a frown settles in her features.Â
âItâs not prom yet,â she mumbles, âand I donât really wanna be the queen to some assholeâs king.âÂ
Raising your brows, you tilt your head as you look at her. Cupping your cheek, you lean your elbow on the pillow beneath you, âyou mean, you donât want to be Jason Carverâs queen?âÂ
A look of disgust crosses her features and she shudders at the mention of his name.Â
âMom forces me to go with him,â she says, looking like sheâs ready to break down out of frustration, âI donât want to go with him.â
Your gaze softens, you place your hand on her back, âthen donât go with him.â
She keeps her eyes locked on the magazine, âyou know how my mom is, I canât just not go, sheâll make my life a living hell if I donât do what she says.âÂ
You never liked Chrissyâs mother, she was always horrible to her. Always pushing her to do and be âbetterâ, forcing her to associate herself with people who already climbed up the social ladder, like Jason Carver.Â
You sigh, wishing you could help her.Â
âWhat if you just stop doing what she wants you to do?â You shrug.Â
She sighs and opens her mouth to speak but you cut her off, holding your hand up, you sit up on your knees, âI know, I know, easier said than done butââ you pause, looking around your room, you eye the freshly washed and ironed cheerleader uniform, the cassettes in the little box on your floor, bands that are his favorites, singers that your friends love so much, you stare at the baby pink wallpaper and the colorful clothes in your messy closetâ you shouldâve closed the door, the sight of the mess makes you want to groan in annoyance.Â
âBut?â Chrissy mumbles as she waits for you to continue.Â
You blink, tearing your eyes away from all the things in your room that you didnât come to like on your own. You look back at your best friend.Â
âIf you do things for others, if you do things because they want you to do them or because they expect you to do them, because they like those thingsâ you will end up feeling miserable at some point, you will lose yourself and one day youâre gonna realize that you donât even know yourself, that you donât even know what you like, what you truly want or⊠who you even are..âÂ
She lets your words sink in. For a moment itâs silent between the two of you. You look down at your hands while she stares at you. Sadness and realization crossing her features. You are trying to help, she knows it but you are also realizing something about yourself, she can tell by the lost look in your eyes.Â
âI know that things would be tense if you just started going against her stupid rules or wishes but you can always come to me if things get tough at home,â you say, reaching out to take her hand, âIâm here and you know my mom wonât mind you staying with us.âÂ
Her eyes light up at your words, a smile tugs at her lips, she turns her hand around and squeezes yours, âyouâre the best, you know that right?â She whispers.Â
You smile at her words, you tilt your head, âno, Iâm not.â
She frowns and rolls her eyes, âyes, you are.âÂ
âSays who?â You chuckle.Â
âI do,â she says, proudly.Â
âOh,â you smirk, leaning closer to her, you donât notice the way her eyes widen or the way her cheeks flush a little red, âyou do, huh?âÂ
She blinks, her lips part and she stares at your face. Your face hovers over hers for a second before you lay back down on your bed and reach for the bat shaped pillow, the one you excitedly bought for your âhalloweenâ decoration, hugging it to your chest, you stare up at the ceiling, not noticing her stare or her tense body.Â
âA-Are you sure you donât wanna come to the winter formal?â She asks again.Â
âYeah, Iâm sure.â
She looks down at her hands, âokay,â she frowns.Â
âHey,â you whisper, glancing at her, âyouâll still have fun.â
âWith Jason?â She mumbles, rolling her eyes, âI doubt that.â
âYou can still go with someone else. If your mom is gonna act like a bitch, Iâll kick her ass for you.â
A giggle falls from her lips and she shakes her head as she looks at you with a smile on her face.Â
Rolling on your side, you prop your head up on your hand. Curiosity sparks inside of you.Â
âWho did you really want to go with?â You ask, âI know there is someone.â You notice the blush on her face and it only deepens the longer you stare at her.Â
âOh uhââ she chuckles nervously, ân-no one, I just, I donât wanna go with Jason.âÂ
âAre you sure about that?âÂ
She nods.Â
âYou donât have to be embarrassed, you know that, right?âÂ
âI-Iâm not.âÂ
âGood, weâre best friends, we tell each other everything, right?âÂ
âYeah,â she whispers and gives you a smile that doesnât really reach her eyes. âIâm gonna go now, I still have to study for the math test tomorrow,â she groans.Â
âOh.. yeah,â you mumble, trying to hide the disappointed look on your face. You hate being by yourself, thereâs too much going on in your mind when youâre all alone in this houseâ you used to love it but ever since he left, itâs just been hard. âI gotta start working on the assignment.âÂ
Chrissy rolls her eyes just the way she did when you told her about who you got partnered up with.Â
âYou know, you could still take Billy up on that offer.âÂ
You snort at her words, âI donât think we need Billy to kick his ass, Heather will do.âÂ
âDid you know that she accidentally bumped into him at Nickâs party last weekend? He was holding a drink and it got all over Nancy,â she giggles.Â
Your eyes widen, you canât even fight the grin off your face, âno way?â You gasp.
âYes way,â she laughs as she reaches for her backpack, âhe got all pissed and looked like he was ready to fight but when he saw Heather, he got all quietâ he even looked scared.âÂ
âHe should be,â you chuckle.Â
âAnd Nancy got all hysterical and ran off.â
You snort, âshe deserved it.â
âShe deserves worse for what she didâ they both do,â she sighs.Â
She never liked Steve, even before you started dating him, she couldnât stand him. His presence annoyed her and more so when you two got together and she had to watch how he continuously messed with your feelings.Â
âYeah well, I donât care anymore, Iâm moving onâŠâÂ
She knows that there is no truth behind your words, you are not moving on. You still love him, she thinks that you always will. You always looked at him like he was the only light in your life, like he was the one who hung every star in the dark sky, it made her hate him even more because he never looked at you like that.Â
âIâll walk you to the doorââ
âNo, itâs fine,â she smiles, âyou donât have to.â She walks towards you and pulls you into a hug, âIâll see you tomorrow, okay?â She squeezes you tightly before she lets go, giving you another smile.Â
âYeah, still gotta help you pick out the right shoes for your dress,â you say.Â
She nods, âand maybe Iâll manage to convince you to come, after all,â she says as she pulls away and begins to walk out of your room, âIâd rather go with you than Jason,â she says quickly before she turns around and leaves the room, saying âbyeâ in a sing song voice.Â
You chuckle and throw your head back against the pillow.Â
âJason Carver,â you mumble in disgust. Not a single person could ever force you to go to the winter formal with him but Chrissyâs mother is the epitome of an evil witch, you know that she will make her life more miserable if she doesnât do as she says. You understand why Chrissy would rather suffer through the night with him than risk a fight with her mother.Â
Not even five minutes after she left, the doorbell rings. Looking around the room, you try to see if she forgot something, thatâs what usually happens when she leaves, she rushes back in a few minutes later because she left her keys or something else. Sighing, you push roll out of bed and rush out of the room.Â
The doorbell rings again.Â
âIâm coming!â You call out, âsince when are you so impatient..âÂ
Your socks are a little slippery on the hardwood floor, careful not to fall, you hold onto the railing as you hurry down the stairs. Grabbing the doorknob, you are already smiling in amusement, âlet me guess, you forgotââ with your words caught in your throat and your smile falling quicker than ever, you only manage to stare at him in confusion.Â
There he is, Steve Harrington, standing on your front porch with his hands in his pocket and an unreadable expression on his face. What does he want?Â
Even though it was him who came here to see you, he stands frozen in place. He stares at you and you stare at him. You are both frozen, time stops, everything stops moving, right now, itâs just the two of you in this world.Â
Itâs the first time you look at him again, properly. All the sadness, all the pain and the longing comes creeping back. It was there all this time, hidden beneath all the anger but it was easier to deal with it when you started pretending like he didnât exist anymore, when you forced yourself not to look at him anymore, when you threw all his things away, when you let go of him. How dare he show up here?Â
Steve watches the way your eyes flash with confusion, anger and sadness, they soften for a split second. This is the first time you actually look at him again. This is the first time you are forced to acknowledge his presence again. A feeling he can only describe as relief rushes through him when you finally look into his eyes again.Â
It feels like forever that you look at each other when in reality only a minute passed since you opened the door. You blink and take a step back, rolling your eyes, you go to shut the door without wanting to hear an explanation as to why he is hereâ âno.â Is all you say before slamming the door in his face but he is quicker than you, he always was. He places his palm on the door, stopping you from closing it, âwaitââ
âGet lost, Harrington.âÂ
He sighs, he didnât expect anything else from you.
You try to close the door again but he doesnât let you, keeping his palm pressed against the wooden door, he stares at you with a stubborn look on his face. God, you want to punch him.Â
âWhat do you want?â You ask as you finally give up and let go of the door, you cross your arms over your chest and take a step back, not looking into his eyes. You raise your brows and glare at him when he invites himself into your house, he shuts the door behind him. You shake your head in disbelief.Â
He is wearing the stupid flannel that you used to love so much, the one you always stole from himâ does it still smell like you?Â
âWe have to work on the assignment together.âÂ
Is he serious?Â
âI told you, Iâll do it myself,â you snap at him before you turn around and make your way into the kitchen in hopes that he will leave but instead, he follows you into the kitchen.Â
âWeâre partners, it wouldnât be fair to let you do all the work by yourself.â
You clench your jaw at his words, how ironic of him to say that. Turning the light on in the kitchen, you walk towards the fridge and open it, distracting yourself from his presence by staring at all the food and drinks.Â
âOh, donât worry, Iâm used to doing all the work myself, my previous partner wasnât much of a help,â you murmur, âin any way.â
Steve scoffs at your words, though he looks down in embarrassment, knowing exactly what things you are talking about. He places his hands on his hips and glances at you through his lashes, he eyes you for a moment before he speaks up, âlisten, I-I wanna do better in school and I really want to work on this assignment.âÂ
You close your eyes, shaking your head, you take a deep breath. Why did he have to sit next to you today?Â
âSince when do you care about being better in school?â You ask in annoyance, reaching for a water bottle, you close the fridge again and turn around to face him. He breaks eye contact the moment you raise your brows in question.Â
He shrugs, âI wanna graduate next year and Mr. Higgins said that Iââ
âDonât care,â you interrupt him and sigh of boredom.Â
He looks a little taken aback, furrowing his brows, he stares at you for a moment as he presses his lips back together. When he came here, he didnât expect you to be so.. mean. Steve only ever knew you as the sweet girl, not once did you treat him badly in all the years he has known you. You never gave him the cold shoulder, not even when he deserved it. You were always kind, gentle and forgiving.Â
Heartbreak changes a person but not like this, right? What happened in those two months ever since he left?Â
While Steve tries to figure you out. You try to figure out how to handle this situation.Â
Should you curse him out and kick him out of your house and show him how hurt you still are? Should you really give him that satisfaction? Or should you pretend to be okay, give him the cold shoulder that you shouldâve given him years ago and act like you are fine with this, with working with him?Â
You opt for the latter. You donât want him to see the power he still has over you. You donât want him to see how much you still want him. Â
You can feel his eyes on you, burning into you, it makes your skin crawl.Â
You take deep breaths before you look back up at him.Â
âDonât you have better things to do on a Thursday night?â You scoff. You know damn well that he never worked on homeworks or assignments when he was still with you, he had âbetterâ things to do. You were the one that did all these things for him.Â
âCan we just work on this?â He sighs.
You roll your eyes and shrug, âyeah.âÂ
Surprise flashes in his eyes, he didnât think that it would be that easy to convince you to work with him. For weeks, you wouldnât even look at him, you wouldnât even glance into his direction. He figured that it was because of how hurt you were after the breakup but now he begins to doubt that that is why you stopped acknowledging him.Â
âCome on then,â you mumble as you make your way out of the kitchen, brushing past him. He nods, looking down at the floor, he turns around and follows you into the hallway, turning the light off on the way out.Â
It feels weird to be back in your house, it feels so familiar yet so⊠strange. There isnât much in your room that has changed since the last time he had been in hereâ only the lack of his things is noticeable to him. The bottle of his cologne that used to be on your dresses is gone and so are the collection of polaroids. He frowns, a weird feeling tugs at his heart. You got rid of everything. It shouldnât bother him as much as it does. He looks around the room that haunts his dreamsâ a piece of clothing that neither belongs to you or him is draped over the chair by your desk. Itâs a black denim jacket. Clenching his jaw, he wonders if it belongs to Billy. The thought of you wearing his clothes, of you being with him makes him so.. angry.Â
âAre you just gonna stand there?â You mumble without looking back at him. You are already back on your bed with your notebook in your lap. He stares at you, the moment feels too familiar. He remembers climbing up to your window one night, he wanted to surprise you with flowers. You were sitting on your bed just like you do now but instead of the notebook you had a magazine on your lap and you were wearing pajamas. You looked so cute.Â
âWe gotta settle on a topic,â you say and raise your head to look at him.Â
Steveâs brows are still furrowed, he still stares at you. He feels confused, irritated and a little hurt. You seem so.. okay. You look at him and talk to him as though nothing ever happened. Are you okay without him? Are you happier without him?Â
He blinks, snapping himself out of his thoughts, he walks towards your desk, he pulls out the chair and sits down.Â
âYeah.. what do you wanna write about?âÂ
You shrug, âI donât know, we could totally write an essay about snakes, thereâs one in my room, right now.âÂ
His lips part and his face scrunches up in confusion, it takes him a moment to realize what you mean. His shoulders slump and he scoffs, âvery funny.â
âI know,â you smirk.Â
âWe could write about basketballââÂ
Your scoff cuts him off, causing him to roll his eyes.Â
âOr about cheerleadingââ
âAre you crazy?â
âI think you know more about cheerleading than I do, you were the one who convinced me to do it after all,â you say, tilting your head at him, âremember?â
He leans back in the chair, spreading his legs, he nods at your words and clenches his jaw, âyeah..â
There is so much tension in your room, his presence makes you angry.Â
After the initial shock subsided and the sadness turned into anger, you began to curse him for what he did, especially when you found out that he had kissed her while he was still with you. That is something you will never forgive him, the lies and the cheating.Â
The anger makes you feel stronger, it keeps the sadness away, for the most part, at least.Â
âHow about we do something more classyâ although, you donât do classy, soâŠâÂ
Steve rolls his eyes at your words, ânot like you do it either,â he mumbles.Â
You snort, not showing him the anger or the annoyance that you are feeling right now. You tilt your head and stare at him in question.
âI mean, given that you fucked Billy Hargrove out of all people,â he says with a looks of distaste on his face.Â
What?Â
You almost laugh in his face but you hold yourself back.Â
He eyes your expression slowly, waiting for a reaction. He expects you to scoff, to look caught, to look embarrassed, to blush or to deny it allâ just the way you always denied your attraction to Billy every time he brought it up but he gets nothing from you. Absolutely nothing and it only fuels his anger even more. The burning in his chest and stomach worsens when you look at him with a straight face.Â
You look at him for a while, not moving, not saying anything, he canât even read the look on your face. After a while, you sigh and look down at your notebook, âso how about we write an essay about Romeo and Juliet?â You ask, âyou know, since itâs the only book you actually ever touched.âÂ
His brows knit together, his cheeks grow red, âare you not gonna say anything?âÂ
His irrational anger amuses you a little but you donât show it.Â
You look at him through hooded eyes, not raising your head, âI just did?âÂ
He rolls his eyes and stands up, walking towards you, âI mean about Billy.âÂ
âWhat about him?â
âDid you sleep with him?â He asks.Â
His eyes flash with desperation. He wants to know, he needs to know.Â
How ironic it is to see him beg for an answer when he has no right to even get one. He never gave you the truth so why should you? You are not his anymore.
His eyes are pleading. Why does he want to know? Why does he even care? He has the girl he truly loves, why should it matter what you do or who you do it with?Â
âSo, Iâm not sure if you remember the story but in Romeo and Juliet, thereâs obviously that tragic ending soââ
âY/n,â he sighs.Â
You close your mouth and glare at him, you used to love hearing him say your name, now you hate it.Â
âWould you rather write an essay about Billy Hargrove?â You ask calmly, giving him a fake smile.Â
âNo,â he rolls his eyes.Â
âGood, cause I donât either.âÂ
He runs his fingers through his hair and huffs in frustration, closing his eyes, he pinches the bridge of his nose.Â
âWe could write about pride and prejudice.â
You lift your chin and look at him in surprise. You used to reread that book all the time, he knows itâs your favoriteâ he used to steal it out of your hands, reading some of Mr.Darcyâs lines in a mocking way, back then it made you laugh.Â
âYou didnât even read it,â you murmur.Â
âI can read it now,â he shrugs, âyou still have it, right?âÂ
âWe got a week to finish the essay, Steve. Itâll take you days to even finish and understand that book so donât even botherââ
âNo,â he says stubbornly, âI want to.â
You throw your hands up, âwhy?âÂ
âCause you wanted to choose the book for your next essay, you told him that weeks before.. her. âCause you love it so muchâ or used to love it.Â
He doesnât look at you, he stares at the ground and shrugs, âjust let me do it, please,â he says, âI can get started on the essay while reading it.âÂ
You try to figure him out. Why is this so important to him? He used to make fun of that book, of you reading so much. He would laugh whenever you offered to read it for him and now he suddenly wants to read it himself?Â
Sighing, you get up and walk towards your bookshelf. You bend down and reach for the book before you turn back to face him.Â
It feels weird to see him back in your roomâ a place he spent so many nights in, a place he used to kiss you in, a place he used to touch you in.Â
âHere.âÂ
You hold it out to him, keeping distance between the two of you as though you are scared to come near him. His fingertips brush yours when he takes the book from you, warmth spreads across his skin and he finds himself looking at your face.Â
You quickly pull your hand back and cross your arms over your chest, avoiding his eyes, âwell, you should probably get started then,â you mumble, nudging your chin into the direction of your door, subtly kicking him out.Â
âYeah,â he breathes and looks back down, eying the cover of your beloved book, âwhat are you doing tomorrow night?âÂ
Just leave, please. You think to yourself.Â
âWhy?â
âWell, we could start working on it tomorrow,â he offers.Â
âYeah sure.â You donât want to work with him, you donât want to see him but agreeing to it will get him out of your house sooner, âIâll call you.âÂ
âOkay.âÂ
You can feel his eyes on you, he is staring and it makes you want to both scream and cry. Leave, just leave.Â
âIâll get going.â He steps away, taking one last look at you before he turns around, âgood night, y/n.â
You donât say anything back, you stay silent, refusing to even look at him. You donât notice the way he halts in his tracks when his eyes fall on the picture on your wall, the only one left of him. Steve knows that you didnât keep it up because of him but it still makes something inside of him burn. Thereâs no other reminders of him left, only this one. You could have cut him out but you didnât, you kept him there. His eyes soften and he glances at you. You are still standing there in the same spot, with your arms crossed and your gaze stuck to the floor. The urge toâ no. He takes a deep breath and forces himself to leave.Â
Your fingernails dig into your arms, you bite your lip as you feel the tears welling up in your eyes. The lump in your throat begins to grow. Why did he show up? You hear him walking down the stairs and it feels like forever until he reaches the door. The sob begins to threaten to escape.Â
You slowly make your way towards your bedroom door, shutting it quietly. You press your back against it and look up at the ceiling. Tears roll down your cheeks the minute you let your guard down.Â
âI hate you, Steve Harrington.â
-
Cold water dribbles down on him, making goosebumps rise up on his skin, he shivers at the feeling but sighs in content when he feels himself getting more energized again. Basketball practice tired him more than usual but that was probably because he stayed up all night, reading pride and prejudice. To his surprise, he ended up liking it more than he thought. Though he canât stand Darcy for some reason.Â
Another thing that kept him up was you. Your indifference, your lack of emotions, the anger and the sadness he had seen in your eyes the last time you had looked at him was gone. There is nothing in your eyes now, just simply nothing. It shouldnât bother him, in fact, it should make him feel relieved to know that you are not hurting anymore but somehow it hurts him to know that you just donât care anymore.Â
He didnât love you but you loved him, at least thatâs what he always believed.Â
Did you realize that you never loved him either?Â
âWhatâs wrong, Harrington? Did you realize that youâre a shit player?âÂ
He canât even help but sigh in annoyance. His jaw clenches and so do his fists. He waited until everyone was done showering, not feeling like interacting with anyone, he didnât know that Billy was still around, if he knew, he wouldâve been the first in the shower.Â
He opens his eyes and glares at him.Â
Billy looks at him with a smirk on his face, he turns the water on and closes his eyes as he steps under the stream.Â
Steve decides to ignore him, turning his head away from him, he reaches for his shampoo with shaky hands. Just the presence of Billy is enough for him to shake out of anger. He hates him so much.Â
âHeard you were at y/nâs house last night.âÂ
At that, Steve tenses up. How and why does he know? He keeps his eyes down as he begins to wash his hair.Â
âYeah, so?â
Billy chuckles, taking a moment to reply.Â
âWhat were you doing there?âÂ
âHowâs that any of your business?â Steve mumbles in annoyance.Â
Billy shrugs, narrowing his eyes at him, âwhen assholes like you go to their ex-girlfriends house itâs usually to fuck,â he says, smirking.Â
Steve shakes his head, âweâre working on an essay together.âÂ
âMhm.âÂ
To his surprise, Billy keeps quiet for the remaining time. Steve quickly finishes up and leaves the shower after wrapping a towel around his waist, wanting to escape him as quickly as he can.Â
Steve canât stand to be in the same room as him for longer than a minute, he always felt that way about him but especially after hearing those rumors about you and Billy from Tommy and Carol. It still leaves a bitter taste in his mouth.Â
Back in the locker room, he scrunches his face up in disgust, it smells like sweat, too much deodorant and cologne in here. No one is around anymore, everyone has already left.Â
Steve reaches for his dirty clothes and stuffs them into his duffle bag before he starts getting dressed. He puts on a pair of boxers and his jeans and reaches for his belt when Billy walks back in.Â
Steveâs jaw feels tense from all the clenching but he canât stop it. Every time he sees him, he thinks of you and him together. He thinks of you being touched by him, of you being kissed by him, of you beingâ god, he canât stand it. He canât stand the thought of you being touched by Billy Hargrove or any other man for that matter.
He knows that there is a huge chance that you arenât with him or with anyone else but he canât be too sure.Â
âDid you fuck her?âÂ
Billy smirks when the question finally tumbles out of Steveâs mouth, he knows that he has been dying to ask. He stays silent and puts his clothes on instead, taking his time with it.Â
Steve puts his sweater over his head and turns around to face Billy, who is already staring at him smugly as he dries his hair with the white towel.Â
Steveâs nostrils flare and he feels like throwing a punch at him already, he clenches his fists, fingernails digging into his palms.Â
âWhy are you asking a question that you already know the answer to?â Billy smirks.Â
He stiffens a little, gritting his teeth and fighting the urge to do what he so badly wants to do.Â
âI donât know the answer, thatâs why Iâm asking.âÂ
âWhy do you want to know?â Billy chuckles as he tilts his head to the side, he throws the towel back on the bench and puts his white tank top on, âyou dumped her.âÂ
Billy walks towards him slowly, he looks confident, he always does. He looks directly into his eyes, the smugness remaining on his face.Â
âLet me tell you something.âÂ
Steve drops his arms to his sides and puffs out his chest, raising his chin slightly. His heartbeat quickens, not out of fear but out of anticipation.Â
âWhen you came to school with your new little plaything, she left. I found her behind the school, she was crying.âÂ
Nothing good will come out of his mouth next, Steve already knows it. The thought of you crying over him does little to mend the anger in his chest.Â
âWanna know what I did?â Billy asks, raising his brows. He licks his lips and grins a little as he steps closer.Â
Steve nudges his chin up.Â
âI took her home and I fucked her so hard that she forgot that you ever existed. In fact, I think a good fuck was all it needed,â Billy chuckles darkly as he looks him up and down, ââcause you clearly never fucked her good enough.âÂ
Steve is seething, burning and trembling with anger. The smirk on the blondâs face is only fueling his anger.Â
âNow Iâm not the only one,â Billy smirks at the angry look on Steveâs face. His cheeks are red, the brown in his eyes vanished completely, all there is now is blackness. He is not just angry, he is in rage and Billy is loving it. âA little birdie told me that sheâs been sneaking around with one of the stoners, so..â Billy laughs, turning around with satisfaction in his eyes.
Steve doesnât know whether to throw a punch, to scream at him or at himself for feeling this way. He wants to throw up at the thought of you fucking Billy, of you sneaking around with some loser.Â
Billy grabs his stuff, he puts on his brown leather jacket. He can sense Steveâs anger and it makes him feel more satisfied than ever.Â
âLet me tell you a little secret, Steve. Girls like her, the ones who get left behind by their daddies, theyâre a little damaged but they keep going. They still got a little hope left, but the moment they get their heart broken by some asshole they fall in love with, theyâre damaged beyond repair. Even if you come crawling back to her and she ends up being stupid enough to take your sorry ass back, she will never be the same again. You crushed her poor little heart.â
Steve is breathing heavily, his knuckles are white from how hard he is clenching his fist. He would love nothing more than to finally throw that punch but he holds himself back, knowing that it will only make things even worse.Â
Billy slaps his hand on Steveâs shoulder, narrowing his eyes, he chuckles, âloosen up, King Steve, go and get your little geek. Iâll take care of y/n, I think sheâs better off with me anyways. At least she feels something when I fuck her.âÂ
And with that, Billy leaves him standing, knowing the damage he caused, it leaves him more satisfied than ever, to know that he messed with himâ to know what it takes to mess with him.

â WE WANNA TALK ABOUT SEX BUT WE'RE NOT ALLOWED
âł COLLEGE AU! PERCY JACKSON X FEM!READER â
â ïž: reader has anxiety, percy being too obvious for his own good, shitty writing (im sorry guys đ), mentions of sex, cursing, emotional cheating (on percys end), not proofread at all, mentions of an anxiety attack, insecure reader
IN WHICH: you and percy have been dating for around a year. however, you feel like he is always choosing annabeth over you, even if he isn't aware of it. tonight, you decided to confront him about it, ending the night not knowing where your relationship stands with him.
requested: yes, by anon
a/n: GUYS IM SO SORRY IM KIKE NOT GOOD AT WRITING ANGST BUT I TRIES đđ JUST MESSAGW ME ABAIN AND ILL REWRITE IT IN A DIFFERENT WAY BUT I HOPE YOU ENJOY!!đ
you knew this talk had to happen at some point. it was inevitable. there was this unspoken tension between you and percy, and you weren't even sure if he was aware of it. for a while, you thought it was just your anxiety driven brain making you feel the tensionâbut you soon realized it was there and not made up.
percy and you had been dating for around a year, beggening right before your freshman year of college started. before that, percy had been in a relationship with annabeth. you were on neutral terms with her;you weren't best friends, but you also didn't hate eachother. but lately, that feeling of neutrality with her was slipping away.
you knew percy and her were close, but you didn't understand why they were as close as they were. you knew percy would never cheat, but you figured he didn't understand not being there for his partner.
anytime you wanted to be around him, he would say that annabeth needed him for something. reviewing notes for class, wanting help with decorating her condo, helping her with a new recipe she was doing, anything really.
at first, you didn't mind that much. you knew they weren't sleeping with eachother or anything, but as time went on, going into the last quarter of the school year, you knew that he would go back to annabeth sooner rather than later. his mind was always occupied with her, somehow managing to bring her up in every conversation you have with him.
á°
you sat on the beige couch that you and percy had bought at Ikea last summer, looking out to the balcony area, waiting for percy to arrive. as much as you didn't want to talk to him about this, you knew the longer you put it off the harder the talk would be. you assumed he would be getting back in around 5 minutes, knowing the route he takes in his car to get to the condo from campus.
suddenly the old wooden door creaked open, disturbing the silence that blanketed the room. you sighed lightly, still wondering how to even start a conversation with percy.
percy soon came into vision, dropping his jansport backpack onto the floor before turning to you. "hi, pretty," he hummed. "how was your day?"
you decided to ease into a normal conversation between the two of you before asking the inevitable question that could determine the future of your relationship. "it was fine, english has been kicking my ass recently though, how about you?" you asked, moving around so you were in a more comfortable position.
"it was also fine, but if your having trouble with english, i could ask annabethâ" you cut him off with a sigh, knowing that was your que to steer the conversation in another direction.
"could you sit down percy, please?" you say, making eye contact with him for the first time since he came home. "we really need to talk,"
"uhm.. yeah of course" he says looking around the room quickly before sitting down on the sofa. "if this is about those mint cookies, i did eat them, didn't mean to though, promise." he explains quickly, looking at you with a small smile.
you press your lips into a thin line, knowing how different of a conversation this is going to be than that. "percy, where do you see our relationship going?"
there it is. the idea is out there, in the open, for percy to do anything with.
you watch his eyes widen slightly, looking at you with a questioning look. "what do you mean? i mean, obviously we're going to keep living together, maybe get a better place for next year, we could even make our new kitchen like annabethsâ"
"there you go again talking about annabeth!" you said, raising your voice slightly. "i know that the two of you are friends, and i'm fine with that, but not if it's getting in the way of our relationship. almost every conversation you bring her up:annabeth this annabeth that. i know you two are exs, and again, i'm fine with that, but that also means you could have romantiic feelings about her still. i really don't think we should even be doing this if you do, percy."
he sat up straighter at the tone of your voice and what you said to him. "why would i still have feelings for a annabeth? that's why we chose to end our relationship, because neither of us had feelings for eachother!" he exclaimed, attempting to keep a calm voice.
"percy, i really just don't think you're in the mental place to be in a relationship with me, or maybe anyone right now. i don't know what to doâ"
percy cut you off, "what do you mean you don't know what to do? i'm the one being told by my girlfriend of a year that she doesn't know if she wants to continue our relationship!" he sat up from the couch and started motioning with his hands. "I'm the one that doesn't know what to do. it's not like i'm going around and having sex with annabeth. you know i wouldn't do that to you!"
"there are other ways of cheating than that percy, and im not saying your cheating on me, I'm just saying that your mind is still on annabeth, which means I don't know if we should be a thing or not." you said. "and honestly, with the reaction your having, i wouldn't be surprised if you were cheating." you also sat up from the couch and moved to stand by him.
"i understand that, but like i said, i'm not going over there to have sex with her or kiss her or anything like that. all im doing is spending time with her, can i not chose who i spend my time with now?" percy spat at you, giving you a look that made you know he was starting to get pissed off.
"that's the problem percy! your spending time with her, which would be okay, if you weren't canceling on me, your girlfriend!" you said, continuing to raise your voice.
he scoffed at you. "name one time that i cancelâ"
"last week, when we were supposed to go the cafe to study for an exam together. i was waiting for you at the door when you were grabbing your backpack, and then you come up to me and say that you can't go because annabeth had finished reviewing your notes. and, for some reason, you had to go to hers that moment to get your notes instead of saying that you could later and go to the cafe, with your girlfriend!" you rambled, getting more mad remembering the memory.
you saw a small flash of guilt in percys eyes, but you didn't let him speak. "every single week percy! its the same fucking thing! you cancle last minute to go to annabeth, even dates you've canceled. and i know that your not sleeping with her or anything, but you're still putting her first instead of me. and that hurts. it really hurts." your voice became softer, cracking when you finished speaking.
your eyes filled with tears, and you started blinking rapidly to keep them at bay. "so yeah, percy, that's why i'm wondering what's going to be our relationship in the future. because right now, i'm not seeing one at all."
you shook your head as you saw his mouth open, still wanting to talk and get through to him. "i love you, so, so much. and it hurts, knowing that i'll always be out second to annabeth. if you want to continue our relationship, you're really going to have to change, percy. and i don't know if you're willing to do that for me." your tears starting openly falling down your face, your brain thinking of what it'll be like to not have percy in your life.
you saw percys mouth open, so you quickly looked down, knowing whatever he was going to say will make you go over the edge and into an anxiety attack. "...why didn't you tell me you felt like that?" he asked with a soft tone to his voice. you shook your had again, knowing you didn't fully get through to him.
"if you were feeling like that, you could have told me and i would have stopped," percy explained, opening his arms to hug you.
you quickly stepped back, not wanting to touch him. "you know what percy? i shouldn't have even had to talk to you about it, because it shouldn't have been a problem. i would have talked to you about it sooner, but i knew it was going to go the way this is going." you said as you wrapped your arms around yourself.
"your not understanding what you did wrong, just saying that i should have done something. which i should have, but i was to nervous, i know that you're too good foe me, gods, i get reminded every single day! so i didn't bring it up to you because i knew that i could've lost you by talking about this!" you let out your first sob as you finished, now thinking of how your going to have to move all your stuff out and stay at your friends condo until you can find a new one.
"heyâhey, let's have you calm down first before we talk. i promise I'm not going anywhere unless you want me to," he said, attempting to make eye contact before you looked down again.
"can, can you just leave? just for a while, please? IâI need to think and it's just really hard being around you right now." you said through your sobs, feeling guilty of practically kicking percy out of his own home, even if just for a while.
you didn't hear what he said, but you watched through your blurred vision as he walked away twords the front hall, heard him grab his keys, and then heard the door close behind him. you quickly walked into your shared bedroom, taking a seat on the edge of your queen size bed.
you look over at percys nightstand, seeing a framed picture of the two of you on your 6th month anniversary. then, your eyes quickly go to a polaroid in front of the framed picture. you sobs grew louder as you grabbed the framed picture and threw it out of anger, sending glass shards across the carpeted floor.
the polaroid was of percy and annabeth, sitting at the campfire back at camp half blood, both having matching smiles on their faces.
you could never compete with annabeth, even in the form of a picture.

Kacey Dutton x reader
Readers out with kayce she hears a familiar voice and knows it's her abusive ex so she starts to run but kayce follows her in the restroom she tells him kayce calms her down " stay with me "
Dutton's Are Better
We got off of the truck walking inside the local bar. I found a spot near the bar that had two empty bar stools available. The bartender came over and we each got a beer. Kayce shifted the black cowboy hat on his head looking at me. âSorry this isn't nothing fancy for date night.âÂ
âIt doesnât have to be. I've had a whole life of it.â Turning my head in the direction of the young Dutton.Â
Kayce sent me a smile back. âYeah.âÂ
Kayce and I had met the day after his sister came into a confrontation between her and my father Roarke Morris. The company he works for wants to build an apartment on the land that the reservation and the Dutton families own. I first believed it was a good idea to make some change but seeing it now it would be horrible to ruin this place. âSo what is so different about this date night then any of our others.âÂ
âWhy do you want to know?â He asked me sitting his beer bottle down in front of him.Â
I take a drink from my bottle. âYou told me this was going to be a little different than our others. I wanna know how?âÂ
At first we thought we'd always be enemies for as long as my father wanted to help destroy his way of life. He showed me the ranch one day when I was curious and wished to see it for myself. From that evening on some spark was born that we couldn't deny. Kayce reaches down into his pocket while getting down from his stool. âI was thinking we did this back at the ranch. But here works too I guess if you don't need some big spectacle.âÂ
âKayce, I'm serious. You could propose to me with a lollipop ring for all I care and I'd be happy - wait, are you actually proposing?âÂ
Sure enough before my eyes Kayce John Dutton lowered himself down on one knee. âY/n, I love you. I didn't think I would give my heart to anyone else after my divorce and then you came around. I thought we were going to tear the other apart by how much we fought. But somehow we've made it past that. So will you marry me?âÂ
âYes. I will-âÂ
âY/n, is that you?â My entire body froze where I spun on my feet seeing a familiar guy walking up to me.Â
I gulped nervously, bolting away from Kayce only uttering one name I wished I could forget. âDylanâŠâ Spinning in my boots throwing my hair around in the air leaving the young Dutton on a knee in front of me.Â
âY/n!â Kayce called my name getting up from the ground.Â
Rushing my way through the hallway to the bathroom I pushed through the door. Shutting it behind myself I plastered my body up against the door. âHe canât be here nowâŠhe said he would never live out here.âÂ
âY/n, hey are you okay?â I heard Kayceeâs voice on the other side.Â
I croaked feeling a tightness in my chest beginning to form. âIâm fine, Kayce. Iâll be out in a minute.âÂ
âDid I do something wrong. I should have listened to Beth when she said proposing was too soon for us.âÂ
I snapped at him. âNo thatâs not it.âÂ
âThen what has you freaked out?â Kayce asked with concern in his tone.Â
I slowly turned around on my feet staring at the door figuring he was standing on the other side of the wooden door. âI saw my ex Dylan say my name out there. I never thought Iâd see that abusive asshole again in my life.â Threading my fingers into my hair I knotted it up, sniffing through tears I didnât want him to hear me sobbing.Â
âY/n, listen to me. Please let me in. I can hear you crying darling.â Kayce spoke to me and before I knew it he pushed the door open and stepped inside. He stands in front of me gently closing the door behind him so we had privacy and locked it too. âY/n?âŠâ
I parted my mouth open slightly, mumbling out his name until I broke down sobbing. âKayceâŠâÂ
âWoah hey hey. Come here, darling.â He paused, opening his arms out for me. I raced into his embrace clutching the fabric of his brown jacket in my finger tips.Â
I cried into his chest for the next few minutes until I lifted my head up and he wiped the fallen tears on my cheeks. âWhat if heâs here to try and win me back?âÂ
âThat wonât be happening, baby. I love you and Iâm hoping that you feel the same and I can slip a ring on ya. That sends a clearer message than anythingâŠbut only if you want to.âÂ
I squeezed his hands in mine realizing I never told him my answer. âYes, yes I'll marry you Kayce.âÂ
He smiled reaching inside his jacket drawing out a ring. The ring was simple with one jewel in the middle that I got to look at when he slid it on my finger. âDon't worry about Dylan if he tries to come over and touch you I'll set him straight.â Kayce holds out his freehand and grabbed the door to open it with his other hand.Â
âThank you, Kayce.â I placed my hand in his and we walked back to our seats. The evening went fine till we tried to leave so Kayce did end up knocking my ex on the ground with a punch. Thankfully no charges were put on him since we later found out from the sheriff that my ex Dylan was plastered drunk.Â

Okay so can I request zero overhearing that his crushes favorite color is green (bonus it if they describe a shade thatâs close to his hair )
50 Shades of Green: Zoro x Reader
Includes: Roronoa Zoro , GN Reader
A / N: I assumed you meant Zoro lol. This is such a cute idea for a scenario ! I Hope you enjoy <3. I hope this is up to your standards !! Feel free to tell me in my AMA if you want me to redo this <33
It was a bright day , a day of relaxation. Everyone on the Sunny took this opportunity to take a break and enjoy themselves. Rather it be playing tag on the deck , listening to Brook play some beautiful tunes , or even just reading / tending to the garden. Everyone was being themselves and having fun. It was quite the break from the massive battles they've had recently.
You sat next to Nami , who was tending to her tangerines. Behind you , Robin sat reading her book. You and Nami had been chatting happily for what felt like hours. Robin , though she was reading , listened and observed everything to two of you were saying. She was ever observant , even if she was on break.
"Hey , I'll be back. I'm gonna go see if Sanji would mind making me something to drink." You said , excusing yourself from the 2 women. They nodded and waved to you as your form retreated from their vision.
As you jumped down to the kitchen , you noticed the two who normally fight . . . Well , fighting. The blonde haired cook seemed to be enraged about something while the moss headed swordsman just sarcastically commented back and basically brushed off the cook's complaints.
That swordsman. The very one that lacks a sense of direction in a literal and figurative sense. You felt your heart flutter as your eyes trailed to him. You shook your head and brushed pass them to get into the kitchen.
Though you didn't know it , Zoro's eyes followed you as the door shut behind your body. You walked over to the fridge and stared at all of your selections. As you sighed and closed the fridge , the door to the kitchen reopened. You glanced over to see who was coming in and noticed the cook. Sanji had apparently stopped arguing with Zoro and came to attend to your needs.
"What would you like , Reader ?" He asked with a smile on his face. Even if it was near dinner time , it was clear he didn't mind tending to his crewmates' needs. You smiled back at him and leaned against the counter.
"Are you able to make a drink for me ? I'm not sure exactly what I want yet. Or maybe a snack , if that's not too much to ask for." You trailed off as your mind trailed back to its thoughts.
"Of course. How about a vol - au - vent ?" He asked as he he began to take out the pastry from a sealed container. "I made some earlier for Nami and Robin , but they told me they weren't hungry." He shrugged and placed it on the counter for you.
"Thank you , Sanji." You bowed your head lightly and took one of the treats from the tray. You resealed the container and walked out of the kitchen.
Somewhere in the time that you had been inside , your ship had landed on an island. You looked at the gorgeous tree filled island in awe. It was lush with fresh vegetation and had many beautiful flowers. You've seen many different islands in the New World , but this had to be one of the nicer ones.
"Alright. I want Chopper , Usopp , and . . sadly . . . Luffy . . To go into town. Robin , I'd like you to go with them. We need you 4 to pick up some herbs for me and Chopper. Sanji , I want you and Brook to go stock up on food supplies. And Franky , you go get materials to repair the ship and for whatever else." Nami directed , pointing those people in the directions they were supposed to go. As she spoke , the groups filed out so they could get their job done as quickly as possible. It was hard to tell if it was because they wanted to go back to the sea or if they didn't wanna see Nami angry. Most likely the latter , you thought.
"What about me and Zoro ?" You questioned as you took a final bite of the tasty hollow treat Sanji had made. "I want you 2 to watch the ship. I'm going onto the island to chart it." She responded , picking up some paper and pens. Before either of you could say anything , she walked off of the ship.
You stood there , staring at the place the ginger once was. You blinked and turned your attention to Zoro , who seemed to be in the same boat as you. You wouldn't admit it , but you were happy to be alone with him.
You stood there , collecting your thoughts. While you stood like a statue , the Swordsman went off to work out. You shook your head violently and whipped your head around to find him. There he was , in all his muscular glory , at the end of the ship with a comically large weight in his hands. He had his coat discarded and he was thrusting the weight forwards and back onto his shoulder in a slicing like motion.
You couldn't help but stare. Everything about how he just so calmly lifted what you assumed to be over 400ibs surprised you. Instead of staring , you decided to go into the crows nest to keep a lookout for any enemies or your crewmates.
---
A few hours had passed by without either of you speaking to one another. The ship was in a comfortable silence , engulfing the both of you as you did separate things. You were bored sitting by yourself , if you were being honest. You were often fidgety and lost in thought instead of looking out. Of course , observation haki helped out with sensing living things but you didn't use it often.
Just as you were about to take a nap , you noticed a bag bobbing around the Sunny. You narrowed your eyes to see who it was and didn't see anyone. That was until you saw Luffy and Robin. You assumed it was either Chopper or Usopp. You smiled softly and walked down from your previous place.
You watched as the lump ran up to you. "Reader ! I got you something ! I thought it was your favorite color." The little reindeer doctor said excitedly as he ran up to you. He handed you a bag that was pink. Not your favorite color , but you liked his thought.
"I appreciate your gesture , Chopper. My favorite color isn't pink , though." You responded , putting the bag on your right side. You could definitely put your weapons and stuff in it. "Oh ! What's your favorite color then ?" He tilted his head with an adorable look on his face.
"Green , actually. I'd say a minty - moss green ? It's just really nice , in my opinion." You explained with a smile on your [shape] face. You heard a noise of surprise behind you and you turned. You didn't expect to have your [color] colored eyes meet with one brown one. Your face lit up.
"Greenisaprettycolorididntmeanitlikethat !" You sputtered out , hiding your face from his confusing stare. You couldn't tell if he was mad at you , if you were being honest.
"Green is a nice color , isn't it ?" Zoro mocked , laughing heartily. You were EXTREMELY embarrassed. Though , you didn't notice the red on his cheeks as well.
Chopper and Usopp laughed at your misery. They were even on the floor , about dying at that point. "I just didn't expect you to be into that color of green." He shrugged and smiled smugly at you. He turned and walked away from the 3 of you , cheeks reddening further.
Though you didn't know it , your words stuck in his head. It repeated like a broken record. He didn't understand why , but he liked the thought of it. Maybe his feelings for you grew , but he didn't know that. Maybe he should talk to Robin or Chopper about it. For now , he would sit and think about you. Even at night.

Teen Wolf - Alpha needs his pack, Pt. 4
Sheriff Stilinski had to be late at work. Again. Sheriff can't have too much free time. Maybe that's why he chose to do the job years ago.
The events at Beacon Hill recently started to take an unexpected turn. Yeah there was crime before, but now mutilated bodies were turning up in random places. Sheriff's departement prohibited the inhabitants to leave their homes late at night for their safety and got back up colleagues from another town.
His colleague deputy Parrish was along his side for most of the time. Sheriff trusted him. After all, they both went through some seriously weird stuff in this town and could rely on each other.
They were working late at night, staring into a computer, reviewing their case. Trying to find a good lead.
Parrish:"I feel that the person or group who's doing this is trying to confuse us and leasing us elsewhere"
Sheriff;"Yeah, but we won't figure that out until we go into the wrong direction."
Parrish:"Precisely. Now, look these bodies..." they both turned their heads to the side. They would have sworn that the glove next to them had moved. "Did you see it move too?"
Sheriff shrugged it off:'"You know what. It's late. We're tired. We're seeing things. Let's go home and figure it out tommorow. What do you think?"
Parrish "Yes, sir. Good idea"
They left the building. Now standing next to their cars.
Sheriff couldn't help it but notice how much bigger Parrish's body has become. "You're working out again?"
Parrish:"Yeah, thought I could get more into it and maintain that routine. I don't wanna beckme one of those cops who feel tired all the time and have medium/bad bodies"
Sheriff felt a bit offended
Parrish:"Oh not you, sir. You look good. Actually really good for your age"
Sheriff:"Parrish, stop talking"
Parrish mid sentence:"Yes, sir"
Sheriff looked him up and down. It was true unfortunately. He didn't feel as good as he did before. He now felt too tired to do sports. He would love to work out, but it's different when you're young. Man, if only He were as young and as good looking as Parrish again.
Someone screamed in the woods. Both men instincively grabbed their gun and headed toward that direction.
When they arrived to that place, they found another body. But what was strange was the fact that it must have been dead for some time now.
A dark mist filled the place. It was so dark they didn't see each other
Sheriff:"Parrish? Are you here? Parrish can you hear me?"
Parrish:"Sheriff? Sir, where are you? Sir, this is Parrish. Can you here me over the coms, over."
Sheriff:"Yes I can hear you. What is that suppose to be again? Over"
The could feel a force fighting it's way inside of them. The mist entered their bodies.
Their eyes were dark for a second and suddenly normal again. But as if hypnotised, they got up and went back to their homes as if nothing happened. Not speaking to each other. Not doing anything. Just driving back home.
Sheriff woke up first. He was in a bed. How did he get there? And whose bed is this?
He looked around. The bedroom was nice and cosy. But he didn't recognise it. He got up. "Wow. That was way easier then I'm used to"
He looked down and found himself in grey sweatpants. Also, a very ripped body now instead of his own
"What the hell?" a young voice came out.
"Is anybody here? Hello?" he looked around and left to the living room where he found a mirror.
"Parrish, there you are. What happ..."
He stopped. His reflection did the same things as he did. How is that possible?
He tried to wave and so did Parrish
"I must be dreaming" he pinched himself on his new biceps and it hurt like he'll
He slapped his face and it did hurt again.
"Parrish, why am I you? This shouldn't be possible."
He got closer to inspect his face. His different eyes. His teeth. His jawline. His hair. Everything was different
He flexed his biceps. "Nice one, Parrish. That working out is paying off". He patted his abs and wanted to continue to explore a bit, but stopped
"Jesus, Noah. What the hell are you doing? You would invade someone's privacy like that? No, I can't do that. I have to find my body"
A call came to his new phone. It was his number
Sheriff:"Hello?"
Parrish:"Is that you, sir? Ehm ehm. Sorry I'm still getting used to your voice"
Sheriff:"Parrish? Are you at my place?"
Parrish:"Yes, sir. Your bedroom in your house"
Sheriff:"Ok, then wait there. I'm coming. I think this might be the direction to distract us from the case" he turned off the call
As he looked at himself in the mirror he found out that while he was calling with his body, he unknowingly took his left hand and held now his new dick. He thought about it for a sec.
"Ah what the hell. It's not like this will happen ever again. Might as well enjoy it. He'll wait a bit for me"
Sheriff wanted to respect his privacy still so he thought he wouldn't look at first. But you just can't not check out your colleagues dick when you have their body. Can you?
It was really nice. Shorter than his, but thicker. Slightly hairy, but trimmed.
Sheriff:"That's quite a package, son. You are a grower and I love that."
He was now edging on the bed. Wanting that amazing feeling to never stop. His old body isn't that sensitive anymore to touch. But damn. This cock felt nice
He didn't cum yet, when suddenly a woman entered the room:"Need some help with that? Stud"
Sheriff:"Oh, boy"
Maria got close to him and began sucking on his dick. He was really close so he shot the load almost immediately
She laughed. Sheriff:"I'm so sorry, I was really close before and then you just..."
Marie:"Finished you. And didn't have to work for it"
Sheriff smiled nervously remembering that he was suppose to leave already
Maria:"I think you should repay me now" and started throwing her clothes on the floor
Sheriff still on the ned:"Look I told sheriff I would leave. I really gotta go"
Maria:"Sure. And that why you were jerking off by yourself"
She got on top off him. Already naked. And horny.
Maria:"Since you're all dry now, you gotta use some other muscle, you big boy"
She sat on top of his face, not giving him a choice but to start licking. Sheriff was hesitant, but thought to himself:"Ahhh what the hell. Gotta enjoy being young"
Yet another anonymous request to continue our Teen Wolf story đ
Could you do a story where Sheriff Stilinski swaps bodies with Deputy Parrish? Maybe the sheriff being jealous of the deputyâs muscles and youth.

Undercover
Pairing: Aaron Hotchner x reader
Summary: You've gotta go undercover for a case...with the last person on earth you'd ever wanna go with.
Warnings: Angst. Cursing. Use of pet names. SMUT, dom/sub vibes, praise kink, sir kink, light choking kink. Mentions of murder. Little bit of fluffy fluff at the end.
A/N: Haley doesn't exist in this story, just FYI.
"So we need two people to go undercover," Rossi said.
"Count me out," Emily said, throwing her hands in the air. "This unsub creeps me out too much. I have no interest in playing his game."
Rossi looked at you and you groaned. "Oh come on."
"You're the only other option, (Y/N)," he insisted.
You looked over at JJ and she shrugged uncomfortably. "Don't look at me, I'm just the media liaison."
"Fine, I'll do it, but only if I can take Morgan with me."
Morgan grinned. "Hell, yeah. I'm in."
Garcia cut in, "Sorry, hot stuff--as much as I'd love to see you go undercover in a tux, you don't exactly fit the required profile."
You looked at Spence hopefully, but he shook his head. "Sorry, (Y/N/N), I'm too young for this one."
You groaned. "Well what's wrong with Morgan?"
"The group the unsub belongs to is very exclusive--if you're not white, you're not getting in," Hotch answered.
You bristled slightly at your boss's interjection. He wasn't wrong and you knew it, but every time he spoke you couldn't help but feel annoyed.
"Fine," you conceded. "Looks like I'm taking Rossi."
Rossi laughed. "Come on, (Y/N). You know I'm too old for this one."
The room fell silent as the realization dawned on every single person in the room, yourself included. Shit, shit, shit.
"It has to be Hotch," Rossi stated.
Even Hotch looked slightly surprised. "I haven't gone undercover in quite a while."
"Better figure it out because you're the only option," you grumbled.
Hotch sent you a glare, but didn't bother to reply to your statement. "When's this party happening?"
"Saturday night," Garcia answered.
"That's two days to prepare," Emily stated. "Should be plenty."
You sighed loudly, but nodded your agreement.
"Good. Let's get started," Hotch said.
The room immediately began to clear out, the rest of the team going back to their desks to work. You stayed behind, which didn't go unnoticed by Rossi.
"I know it's not ideal, but it's the best way to draw out the unsub," Rossi said gently as he sat down beside you.
You sighed, running your fingers through your hair. "He hates me, Rossi, and to be honest, I'm not his biggest fan either. But you want us to pretend to love each other in front of a bunch of strangers? For hours on end?"
Rossi patted your arm. "I know, kiddo, but he's not that bad. It'll be okay."
You stared at him in silence for a moment. "The man never looks at me unless it's a glare. He looks annoyed every time I dare to speak in his presence, especially if it's directed at him. There's no way we're going to be able to pretend to even like each other, Rossi."
"I'll talk to him, okay? But you both need to be the professionals I know you are. It's not about either of you...it's about all the girls this man has murdered."
You sighed lightly. "You're right, you're right--as always. I'll behave, I promise."
Rossi smiled. "That'a girl. I'll talk to Hotch."
You nodded. "Be mean if you have to."
"(Y/N)," Rossi warned with a chuckle as he left the conference room.
It's not that you hated Hotch or anything like that. Hell, you actually found him incredibly attractive--it was his attitude you couldn't stand. He wasn't always rude to you, he was almost friendly when you'd joined the team a couple years prior. A couple months in and he started to act differently. You had no idea what you'd done to him to make him hate you, but it pissed you off to no end.
Hotch wasn't exactly warm and fuzzy with anyone, but he was downright hostile with you. He went out of his way to avoid you when he could, and acted like a sullen child when he couldn't. He always paired you up with someone else on cases, to the point where you'd actually never worked with him alone one-on-one.
You grabbed your notebook and headed back to your desk.
"Hey, you okay?" Emily asked you softly when you sat down in front of her.
"Yeah, it's fine. Just gotta figure out how to make sure we don't kill each other in public."
She chuckled. "You're not going to kill each other."
You raised your eyebrow. "Sure--it'll be great."
"You'll be fine," she insisted. "So you wanna go shopping later?"
You nodded. "I've gotta find something to wear to this damn thing. Invite JJ and Garcia too. I need opinions. If I've gotta dress up, I wanna at least look hot."
Emily laughed. "Girl please--you always look hot."
"Thank you, thank you," you said with a mock bow.
"(Y/L/N)," Hotch yelled from his office. "My office. Now."
You closed your eyes and sighed before getting up and heading to the office. You made eye contact with Rossi as he walked back to his own office. He gave you a soft smile and a subtle thumbs up...but you couldn't help but feel nervous as hell.
"Sir?" you asked as you entered his office.
"Close the door," he said without looking at you.
You closed the door and waited silently for him to speak.
"Are you going to sit or just stand there awkwardly?"
"Standing closer to the door gives me a better escape route," you said stubbornly.
Hotch huffed in annoyance. "You're being childish. Sit down."
"Is that an order, sir?"
His body tensed and he clenched his jaw as he gestured to the seat in front of him.
You sat down and crossed your arms, silence stretching out between you.
After an entire minute of silence, you couldn't take it anymore. "I'm assuming you called me in here for a reason?"
"I did." Hotch's gaze finally landed on you. "We need to discuss this op."
"What about it?"
Hotch raised his eyebrows. "How about your reaction when Rossi said we'd be going undercover together?"
"Can you blame me, Hotch? We have to pretend to be romantically involved--but we can barely be in each other's presence without animosity."
"We're professionals, (Y/L/N)."
"May I speak freely, sir?"
"As if you don't already."
"I'm going to take that as a yes," you began. "You don't act like a professional, Hotch. You act like I'm an actual burden to you--like you despise me so much that merely being in my presence makes you angry. You can't even look at me without glaring and you almost never speak to me unless you have to. Can you see why I wouldn't exactly be thrilled about going undercover with you?"
To your surprise, Hotch looked almost hurt by your words. But that quickly turned back to annoyance--maybe even anger. "Can you really blame me? You're not exactly pleasant to be around," he said harshly.
It was your turn to be hurt--and unlike him, you couldn't hide it. You stood up and walked to the door.
"I didn't dismiss you."
You didn't even bother to look back at him. "This conversation is definitely over." You walked out the office door and straight out to the bank of elevators in the hall. You ignored the voices of your teammates calling your name. You just needed to get out of there--you needed air.
Instead of going down, you went up, making your way out to the roof. It was your go-to place to think, and lord knew you needed to think in peace.
You were angry and you needed a moment away from everyone else to calm down--otherwise, you might say something you'll regret. This was one of those moments where you questioned your life choices...and how much you really wanted to keep working at the BAU.
It was your dream job and you loved your team more than anything, but working with Hotch was slowly killing you. You hated the way he made you feel, but more importantly you hated the side of you he brought out. You just didn't like yourself when you were around him.
It hadn't always been that way. When you'd first started, Hotch had actually been nice to you--you might even say he was sweet. You felt accepted by the entire team, your boss included. You just didn't know what had changed. Somehow he was getting even worse and that attitude was pushing you to your limits.
You knew you had to get through this case and deal with the undercover part--the lives of an untold number of girls relied on it. But after that, you really needed to think about what your future was going to look like.
**********
Somehow, you made it through the rest of the day without losing your mind. You and the girls were now out shopping for the perfect dress for this op.
"Okay so I grabbed 15 different dresses in your size," Garcia said with a massive grin when you, Emily, and JJ walked into the store.
"You only got here 10 minutes before us!" you exclaimed.
Garcia just kept smiling. "I excel at speed shopping."
You laughed as she dragged you to the back of the store, the other two following behind you. You went into the dressing room to try on the dresses. Garcia had pulled various styles and colors, some of which were absolutely not your style at all, so you avoided trying those on.
The first dress you put on was just a basic little black dress. You stepped out of the dressing room to let the girls see it.
"Ohh an LBD. Okay," Emily said. "Spin please."
You spun with a chuckle. "What do we think?"
"Hmm. We can do better," Garcia said. "Next!"
You switched into a different black dress, longer this time, but perhaps a little more revealing in the bodice than you'd prefer.
"Ow-ow!" JJ cat called you as you stepped out.
Emily clapped and Garcia let out a little gasp.
"I think it might be a little...much," you said lightly.
Emily laughed. "The girls are coming out to say hi."
"Yeah, I'm gonna try another one."
The next couple dresses you tried on just didn't really speak to you, despite the reactions of your friends. You finally reached a dress that you thought looked nice on the hanger, but you weren't quite sure how it would look on you.
It was a deep emerald green dress in a silky fabric. It was very simply designed, v-necked with thin straps, floor length, with a thigh-high split up one side.
When you put it on, you let out a little gasp as you looked in the mirror. Even with minimal makeup, messy hair, and no shoes, you thought you looked incredible.
"Was that a gasp I just heard?" Garcia asked.
"Maybe," you said with a chuckle as you stepped out of the dressing room.
"Holy shit," Emily mumbled.
"That's the one," JJ said, eyes wide.
"I second that," Garcia agreed.
"You think so?" you asked, timidly.
"Girl, please. You look hot as hell," Emily insisted. "Hotch is probably going to pass out when he sees you."
You laughed. "He won't even notice, Em. You know he doesn't look at me."
"He's a man, (Y/N). He'd have to be blind not to."
"She's right, ya know," JJ said.
"Well I can't say that I wouldn't love to see Hotch fall flat on his face," you said lightly.
"I don't know why you're always so mean to each other," Garcia said with a frown.
"Oh please--he started it," you insisted.
"Hmm," she hummed. "I suppose."
"Enough talk about Hotch. Go change so we can buy that sexy dress and get dinner," Emily cut in.
"Tacos?" you asked.
"Obviously," she agreed.
**********
The next day was spent in the office, preparing for the op the next night. As always, Hotch was moody and distant, but he did try not to snap at you very much.
He wouldn't admit it, but Rossi's words from the day before, as well as your rightful anger, had been weighing on him all night. He didn't mean to be an asshole--well, yes he did. But he didn't want to be. It was self-preservation. He knew what would happen if he was nice to you...the first few weeks of your time in the BAU had given insight into that.
"Hotch," your voice snapped him out of his thoughts.
"What?" he asked.
You sighed. "You weren't listening, were you?"
He winced. "Sorry."
A look of surprise ghosted across your face. You were certain that was the first and only time he'd ever apologized to you. You shook your head to clear it and repeated your earlier statement. "Somehow these guys are rich enough to actually rent out an entire hotel for a weekend. The event itself is in the hotel ballroom and each of the 'couples' in attendance will have their own rooms, us included. Garcia managed to secure us a room."
"What do we need a hotel room for?" Hotch asked.
You sighed. "I'm not going to explain that one, Hotchner."
Before Hotch could snap at you, Rossi cut in. "The hotel rooms are used for the various interactions between the couples. Each couple is required to have a room in order to participate in the event."
"Besides," Reid continued, "we need the two of you to convince the unsub to come up to your room for (Y/N)."
You winced, a look of disgust covering your face.
"Sorry, (Y/N/N)," Reid said sheepishly.
"It's not your fault the unsub is so sick," you reassured him.
This particular unsub was part of an exclusive group of people who 'traded' women amongst each other for various fees dependent upon what the purchaser wanted the woman for. The unsub would purchase a girl to keep, and eventually murder in a horrifically sadistic and brutal manner.
Essentially, Hotch would be operating as your current 'owner', but once you'd identified the unsub, he'd offer you to him for a sordid fee. You didn't like the concept of any of this, but you wanted to catch this guy so badly.
After a few more hours of planning, it was time to wrap things up and get ready for tomorrow. You were meeting the team at a nearby hotel to get ready and it's where they would be setting up. You and Hotch would depart from there and go directly to the hotel with the event.
**********
At 4:30 the next day, you arrived at the hotel the team was setting up at. Most of the team was already there, the only one missing was Hotch.
"How you feeling, (Y/N)?" Emily asked softly. "You ready?"
"As I'll ever be, Em."
"Thanks for showing up," Morgan teased as Hotch walked into the hotel room.
"Shut it, Morgan. I couldn't find my tux."
'Tux?' you mouthed at Emily.
She shrugged. "Guess he wanted to match your level of class," she whispered.
"Actually, tuxes are required," Reid interjected.
"Ahh," you said with a nod.
Emily chuckled lightly and grabbed your arm, pulling you towards the bathroom. She gestured to JJ and Garcia to come along. She shut the door behind you all and you jumped up on the bathroom counter.
"Make me pretty," you joked.
"Girl please. You're already gorgeous. We're just accentuating it," Garcia stated with a smile.
"I love you," you said warmly as you pulled her into a hug. "But seriously, who's gonna fix my hair? I look crazy."
JJ laughed. "I'll take the hair. Garcia's gonna handle your makeup and Emily is here for comic relief/emotional support."
The girls got to work on styling your hair and doing your makeup, chatting and laughing together as if you weren't about to go undercover in a freaking lion's den.
While you and the girls were getting ready in the bathroom, the guys were talking over things in the bedroom.
Hotch needed maybe 10 minutes to get changed, so he had some time to kill before he needed to get ready. That time wasn't really a beneficial thing. It allowed him time to think about all kinds of things he really shouldn't be thinking about.
The event was starting at 7, so you needed to be at the other hotel by 6:30 to check into your room. At 6, the girls popped out of the bathroom, leaving you on the other side of the door.
Garcia cleared her throat to get the rest of the team's attention. Everyone turned to face her and she dramatically gestured to the bathroom door. "Presenting the beautiful, (Y/N) (Y/L/N)."
Emily swung the door open and you stepped out into the main room. Everyone was silent as they took in your look. You felt slightly uncomfortable under their gazes, despite being a very confident woman.
"Damn, girl," Morgan breathed out, the first one to recover.
"She looks great, doesn't she?" Garcia said excitedly.
"She really does," Hotch said softly without realizing it.
Everyone turned to look at him in surprise, but none were as surprised as you. Your eyes met his and you inhaled sharply, breath catching in your chest.
Hotch realized he'd spoken out loud, only because of the look on your face. A dark blush crept into his cheeks and he averted his gaze.
"Thanks, guys," you said softly, taking the attention away from Hotch.
He lifted his gaze back up to you, completely unable to keep his eyes off of you. You looked even more beautiful than usual and you absolutely took his breath away.
You looked back over at Hotch while ignoring the chatter of the rest of the team as they gushed over your look. Your heart was racing so quickly, you were slightly worried someone would be able to hear the pounding.
You'd never seen Hotch look at you the way he was looking at you in this moment. You felt almost small under his gaze and if you didn't think it sounded insane, you would say he almost looked hungry as he gazed at you.
"I guess I should change too," Hotch said lightly, eyes not quite meeting yours.
"Oh, right." You stepped out of the way so he could go into the bathroom to change into his tux. You walked over to the bed and sat on the edge of it, suddenly feeling a bit faint.
JJ noticed immediately and came over to sit beside you. "You okay?" she murmured.
"Yeah, I'm good. Just a little nervous," you lied smoothly.
It was obvious she didn't believe you, but she didn't say anything. She simply wrapped her arm around you and pulled you into a side hug. It was just what you needed to feel grounded.
After several minutes, Hotch came out of the bathroom wearing a very well-fitted black tux. Much in the same way he looked at you in shock when you came out, your eyes widened as you took him in.
"You clean up nice," Rossi teased.
"Yeah, yeah," Hotch muttered. He looked up at you, eyes not quite meeting yours. "Should we head out?"
You nodded and stood up, taking a deep breath to prepare yourself for the night ahead.
"We'll be close by if you need us," Rossi assured you both as you started out the door. "Garcia will be monitoring the cameras in the ballroom."
You nodded again as Hotch opened the door and gestured for you to go first. "We've got this," he said firmly.
The ride to the other hotel was silent...and not the comfortable kind. You hated it, but you couldn't think of a single thing to say, and apparently neither could he.
When you arrived at the hotel, Hotch handed the keys to the valet, took your arm as you got out of the car, and guided you into the hotel lobby.
"Good evening, sir," the front desk lady said. "May I have your last name please?"
"Carter," Hotch said smoothly.
The woman checked the computer and offered the two of you a smile. "Your room is on the 7th floor," she handed Hotch the room keys before continuing, "elevators are to your left. Please let us know if there's anything we can do to make your stay more pleasant."
"Thank you very much," Hotch responded.
Once the two of you made it to the room, you separated from each other as if your skin burned. You made quick work of searching the room for cameras and/or listening devices. Finding none, you finally relaxed a little and spoke to each other.
"Call Rossi," you said. "We're a go."
Hotch glared at you, clearly annoyed at your commands, but he didn't say anything. Instead, he simply called Rossi, told him the room number, and said he'd be in touch.
"We have 20 minutes until we need to be downstairs for the party," he said as he sat down on the edge of the bed.
You sat down in an arm chair on the opposite side of the room. "Shall we sit in silence until then?"
Hotch shot you another glare. "Perhaps we should discuss our plan?"
"What's to discuss? You know the plan as well as I do. Just pretend to actually like each other for long enough to find the unsub. Sound manageable?"
He winced as if you'd hit him, but quickly recovered. It did not, however, go unnoticed by you. "If you're silent, I think I can handle it," he snapped back.
You narrowed your eyes. "Don't worry, I'm excellent at faking sweetness."
10 minutes passed in complete silence. You felt bad for being so nasty to him, but it was all you ever did. You didn't banter...you fought, and neither of you knew how to pull a punch.
Much to your surprise, Hotch broke the silence first. "Have you always hated me so much?"
You turned to look at him. He actually looked wounded and it made your expression soften. "I don't hate you, Hotch."
"Coulda fooled me."
"Do you hate me?" you asked softly.
He looked surprised. "Of course not."
"Coulda fooled me," you said, echoing his response.
He looked down at the floor. "I know I'm an asshole, (Y/N), but I don't hate you."
You were silent for a moment. "That's the first time you've called me by my first name since I first joined the BAU."
His gaze met yours. "It is?"
You simply nodded.
He returned the nod thoughtfully. "I don't mean to be like this, you know."
"Well you're not like this with anyone else on the team, so I can only assume you have something against me specifically."
He shook his head. "I don't, but it's just--it's hard to explain." He fell silent, refusing to allow himself to elaborate further.
You sighed and stood up. "Come on. We might as well head downstairs."
He nodded again and joined you at the door.
"Remember," you said softly. "Pretend to like each other."
You opened the door and the op began.
**********
Hotch's hand rested firmly on your lower back as you walked into the hotel ballroom. You closed your eyes briefly, silently willing your body to not react to the feeling of his hand on you or the proximity of his body to yours.
Unfortunately, he felt the tension in your back against his palm. "Relax," he murmured in your ear, causing you to shiver.
You hated your body for reacting so intensely to him, and you cursed quietly under your breath, earning a deep chuckle from Hotch.
You wanted to glare at him for laughing at you, but you knew there were eyes on you both. You decided to lean into the role you were supposed to be playing, while also getting back at him.
You placed your hand on his chest and leaned your body into him, giving him a whiff of your perfume. You felt him tense against you and you grinned. "You okay there, handsome?" you teased.
He gave you a tight-lipped smile, but you noticed the slight flush in his cheeks. He knew what you were doing, but he was quite sure you weren't aware of what you were really doing to him.
He guided you farther into the large ballroom, eyes scanning the room for men that fit the profile. Unfortunately, almost every man in the room fit the profile almost perfectly.
"Are you paying attention?" he asked softly.
"Yes, Sir," you hissed in annoyance.
He bit back a groan, eyes fluttering closed for a moment. "Don't," he mumbled.
"Don't what?" you asked teasingly, knowing exactly what got to him.
He shot you a look that sent a wave of heat straight to your core. Your eyes must have betrayed you, because his expression changed to an almost wolfish look that had your pulse racing.
"Behave," he snapped. The harshness in his voice surprised you, until you saw the couple watching you from the corner of your eye. Hotch had slid seamlessly into his role, so you slipped back into yours.
Your eyes looked down and your body language screamed 'submissive', which was what you knew the unsub would want to see. The man nodded at Hotch, clearly appreciating his dominant control over you. Hotch inclined his head at the man, signaling his respect.
Once the couple was out of earshot, you whispered, "One down."
Hotch nodded. "500 to go." It was an exaggeration, but it felt like he was right.
For the next hour, the two of you made it through the room several times, eliminating almost every man there. You were starting to lose hope that you were going to find the unsub, but Hotch was refusing to give up.
Your eyes were dancing around the room when they landed on a man several feet away from you. You hadn't noticed him before, but he was watching you, eyes taking in your appearance with a dangerous hunger.
You turned your head into Hotch's shoulder, so the man could no longer see your face. "Your 2 o'clock," you whispered.
Hotch glanced in that direction and his grip on your waist tightened almost possessively. You instantly knew he agreed with your instincts and his protective nature kicked into high gear.
You felt Hotch move his head, gesturing for the man to come over to you. He leaned down to murmur against your hair, "He's coming this way."
"Hello there," the man said as he reached you. "Who do we have here?"
He was clearly talking about you, so Hotch turned your body towards him, allowing the man to have a clearer view of you. "This is Anna," he lied smoothly. "My favorite girl."
You kept your head inclined to express a very submissive nature, but you allowed yourself to gaze up at the man through your lashes. He was looking at you with an intensity that made your skin crawl, but you didn't show it.
"Anna," he said softly. "Beautiful name for a beautiful woman."
"Thank you, sir," you murmured.
"And so well-behaved." The man looked up at Hotch. "You've trained her well."
Hotch smiled. "She's a very quick learner." He leaned forward conspiratorially. "A little violence goes a long way with this one."
The man hummed lightly, clearly pleased with that information. "Is she available?"
"What did you have in mind?" Hotch asked.
"I was thinking something permanent."
Hotch pretended to think about it, looking slightly disinterested.
"I can pay very well," the man insisted. "I pay extra for complete discretion."
"Discretion is obviously included," Hotch said simply.
The man shook his head slightly. "Complete discretion. After I make the purchase, I expect utter silence on your part, regardless of what may happen."
"Should I be concerned about 'what may happen'?" he asked lightly.
"I'll make it worth your while to not be concerned."
Hotch looked down at you. "How much?"
"$500,000."
Hotch laughed. "She's worth more than that."
"My apologies. I'll give you the 500,000 for discretion and 1 million for the girl."
Every single fiber of your being was telling you this man was the unsub you were looking for and you had a feeling Hotch felt the same way.
Hotch nodded. "You've got yourself a deal."
The man smiled. "I'll transfer the money to whatever account you wish."
Hotch gave him a government-controlled bank account to wire the money to.
Back at the other hotel, Garcia received a notification that the account had received 1.5 million dollars. "Alright, guys. It's go-time. I just got 1.5 million dollars for something...I'm assuming it's for (Y/N). Hotch is talking with a man now."
Rossi and Morgan leaned over her shoulder to look at the camera feed. "Let's roll," Morgan said.
Morgan, Rossi, Reid, and Emily headed out to the other hotel. The plan was to pick up the unsub once you were transferred to his possession.
Hotch's phone dinged with a notification from Garcia informing him the money had been transferred. He looked up at the other man with a smile. "It's been a pleasure doing business with you. She's all yours."
"Excellent. Come along, Anna. We have much to do," the man said firmly as he grabbed your arm to guide you away from Hotch.
You felt Hotch's tension as you were pulled away from him, but you didn't look back. You knew if you did, it would give you away.
The moment the man was out of earshot, Hotch called Garcia. "Don't lose her," he said firmly.
"On it, sir."
Garcia watched the man guide you through the ballroom towards the bank of elevators. The cameras in the elevator showed how clearly uncomfortable you were and it made Garcia upset to watch. The unsub's hands were all over you, but you didn't pull away--you couldn't.
The elevator doors opened and the cameras in the hallway showed the unsub leading you into room 456.
"They're in room 456," Garcia said over the phone.
The moment the words were out of her mouth, Hotch was running across the ballroom towards the elevators. As he waited for the elevator, the rest of the team came into the building.
Hotch held the elevator doors opened and the other four jumped inside and headed up to the 4th floor. When they reached room 456, Emily knocked on the door. "Housekeeping," she called.
A few moments later, the unsub opened the door, looking annoyed. His expression quickly turned to surprise as 5 FBI agents busted into his room.
Hotch looked around the room for you, ignoring what was happening with the unsub behind him. His gaze landed on you and he relaxed immediately. You shot him a small smile and waved your fingers at him from the bed.
He rushed over to you. "Are you okay?" he asked gently as he pulled out a knife and quickly cut the rope that bound your arms to the headboard.
"I am now," you said softly, rubbing your wrists slightly.
"You did good," he commented.
"So did you."
He helped you off the bed and you straightened your dress before making your way over to the unsub. "Gotcha," you said with a smile as you patted his cheek.
Hotch nodded to Rossi and Morgan and they escorted him out of the room. Emily and Reid followed, but Hotch grabbed your arm to keep you from following them. "Are you sure you're okay?" he asked softly.
You smiled. "He didn't do anything other than tie me to the bed and awkwardly fondle me, Hotch. I promise I'm okay."
He looked angry for a moment. "I hate that he touched you."
You shrugged. "It wasn't great, but I'll live." You grabbed his arm. "Come on, let's go."
He followed you out of the room and downstairs. The team loaded up in their vehicles and headed back to the other hotel for Garcia and JJ, while Rossi and Morgan took the unsub back to the BAU for questioning.
Garcia and JJ were packing everything up when you walked into the room.
"You're okay!" Garcia squealed as she ran across the room to hug you.
You laughed. "I'm perfectly fine, Pen. I promise."
JJ gave you a hug too before helping Garcia carry stuff out to the car. Everyone else cleared out, but you and Hotch stayed behind to change.
"We'll meet you guys back at the office. Tell Rossi to get started without us," Hotch said firmly as he ushered Emily and Reid out of the room, shutting the door behind them.
"I was kind of looking forward to interrogating him," you complained.
"I'm not letting him anywhere near you again," Hotch growled.
"Little possessive aren't we?"
His eyes met yours and your breath caught in your chest. His pupils were blown wide and his gaze was incredibly intense. Your heart began to beat rapidly and your breathing became more shallow.
You'd never wanted him more badly than you wanted him in this moment, but you found you couldn't move. It was as if your feet had grown roots.
Hotch, on the other hand, began to slowly walk towards you, like a predator hunting his prey. He stopped mere inches from you, so close you could feel his breath against your lips.
He leaned forward, pinning you against the wall, his arms caging you in. "Tell me to stop," he whispered.
"No," you breathed out.
He groaned softly and you watched as the last remnants of his self-control faded away. Without warning, he slammed his lips against yours, taking your breath away.
You kissed him back, snaking your arms around his neck and pulling him closer to you. His body collapsed against yours, pressing into you deliciously.
His lips began to move to your jaw and down to your neck, sucking your skin and leaving little bite marks as he went.
"Aaron," you whimpered softly.
He moaned against your skin, nipping at your pulse point. "Say my name again."
You gave the hair at the nape of his neck a tug and whispered his name again.
He looked up at you, eyes black with lust. "I wanna take my time with you," he murmured.
"We don't have time," you said softly. "The team's gonna wonder what's taking so long."
"I don't care," he growled. "I've been wanting to do this for years."
You groaned, the mere idea that he'd wanted you for so long was a massive turn on. You ran your fingers through his hair, tugging at the roots gently. "Then you can wait a little longer, baby."
"Fuck," he mumbled, hands tightening on your hips. "I'll take my time with you later. Lift that dress up, baby. Wanna touch you."
You didn't need to be told twice. You lifted up the skirt of the dress so it was around your waist, revealing your black lace thong.
He raised his eyebrows when he saw your underwear and you grinned. "Didn't want panty lines."
He grabbed the edge of the lace and ripped it with ease.
"Aaron!"
"What? You won't need them." He slipped a finger between your folds, effectively silencing your response. "So wet for me," he groaned.
Your head leaned back against the wall and you let out a soft moan. Your fingers reached for his belt, quickly removing it before fiddling with the button and zipper on his pants.
He grabbed your hand and pushed it away. You were about to protest, but he made much faster work of removing his pants than you would have. He pulled his boxers down just enough to release his hard cock, stroking it as he leaned his forehead against yours.
"Please," you whimpered.
"Please what, baby?"
"Fuck me, please," you begged.
"I can't say no when you beg so sweetly," he said softly.
You clutched at his shoulders and lifted your hips up to meet his hands. He chuckled lightly at your neediness, but he couldn't deny his own need any longer. In one swift movement, he sheathed himself inside of you completely.
You gasped as you dug your nails into him, trying to adjust to his size. His length and girth stretched you out almost painfully. You wrapped your right leg around his waist and begged him to move.
He started to thrust up into you, your moans mixing with the salacious sounds of your bodies meeting.
"You feel so good, (Y/N)," he moaned into your ear. "Could stay between these pretty legs forever."
"Faster," you begged.
He chuckled darkly and sped up his thrusts. You gasped loudly, pleasure overwhelming you.
"Squeezing me so tight, baby."
"So close," you gasped.
"Yeah? You wanna cum, pretty girl?"
"Please," you whimpered.
"Not yet," he growled.
You let out a soft whimper as he continued to thrust into you. He was struggling to keep his own orgasm at bay, but he wanted to make sure yours was as intense as he could make it before he came.
"Fuck, baby, you're so beautiful."
"Wanna cum," you cried softly.
He thrust into you as hard and fast as he could. "Cum for me, baby."
You cried out as your release hit you with overwhelming force. You clenched tightly around him as you came, drawing deep moans from his chest.
"Squeezing me so good...gonna cum, baby," he groaned out.
You felt him slow slightly and you worried he was going to pull out. "Inside me, please--Aaron, wanna feel you fill me up," you begged quickly.
"Baby, you sure?"
You nodded rapidly. "Please--need it."
He leaned into you, lips against your throat as he thrust into you a couple more times before he came inside of you, filling you with his seed. He groaned your name against your skin as he came down from his high.
You were both breathless as he slowly slid out of you. His hands didn't leave your hips, which you were thankful for. You were pretty sure you wouldn't be able to stand up without his support.
"You alright, (Y/N)?" he asked softly as he kissed your temple.
"More than alright."
He smiled. "Me too."
You chuckled as you looked up at him. "We--uh...we should probably clean up and get back to the office."
He nodded and pulled away from you a little. "Yeah, you're right. Sorry--"
"Nothing to be sorry for, Aaron. I wanted that as badly as you did."
He looked back up at you, eyes scanning your face for any hint of deception. The fact that you'd used his first name and the look of affection on your face solidified his belief that you were serious.
"For the record, I'd like to do this again later," you said softly as you took in his gentle expression.
He smiled and raised his eyebrows. "Oh really?"
You bit your lip and nodded.
He groaned softly. "Don't play coy now, (Y/N)."
You grinned and pulled him in for a deep kiss, one he returned happily. When you separated, you pulled yourself off the wall and went to adjust your dress. As soon as you stood up straight, his cum began to seep out onto your thighs.
"Shit," you mumbled.
"What?"
"Well, you ruined my underwear and now I'm going to get cum all over my dress."
He grinned. "Good thing you brought clothes to change into."
"I didn't bring another pair of underwear!"
"Sorry, gorgeous. Guess you'll have to just sit with your thighs clenched together."
You smacked him affectionately as he started to take off the rest of his tux so he could change.
"You're terrible," you grumbled lightly. You grabbed your clothes and went into the bathroom to change. When you came back out, he was dressed and ready to go.
He looked slightly uncomfortable, as if the realization of everything that had happened just dawned on him. "We, uh--we should probably talk about this..."
Your expression hardened slightly, unsure of what he was trying to say. Did he regret it? "We can talk about it later. Let's just get back to Quantico."
Hotch nodded, noticing the way you'd closed up when he'd mentioned talking. He couldn't deny that he was worried--and perhaps slightly ashamed that he'd given in to his primal desires. He just had to hope you didn't hate him.
You stayed quiet for the whole ride back to Quantico, leaving Hotch to wonder silently if he'd really and truly messed things up for good.
**********
After the interviews were completed and the unsub had confessed to all of the murders, it was almost 2am. You were beyond ready to go home, as was the rest of the team.
Everyone was leaving except for Hotch. He watched as you started to make your way towards the elevators. He knew he needed to make a decision...
The elevator doors closed with you inside and his decision was made for him. He figured he could talk to you on Monday...or maybe just never bring it up ever again. Maybe that's what you'd prefer.
You'd never admit it to anyone, but you went home that night and cried yourself to sleep. You should have known better--hell you did know better. Giving yourself over that easily was embarrassing...especially when you did it with your boss.
Hotch didn't call that night, nor the next day, and when you came to work on Monday, he tried to catch your eye, but you ignored him more harshly than you ever had before.
Two weeks went by in much the same way. You wouldn't even look in his direction and he desperately tried to think of something to say. The longer this went on, the harder it was for him to say something.
Friday night came and the team wanted to go out for drinks. You declined, opting instead to go home and curl up on your couch.
Hotch overheard your explanation to JJ, telling her you were too tired. He decided tonight would be the night when he would man up and actually talk to you.
A little before 6pm, there was a knock at your door. You were already in your pjs and you'd ordered Chinese food for dinner, so you assumed it was your delivery.
When you opened the door, you were shocked to see a soaking wet Aaron Hotchner standing at your door.
"Well you're not the Chinese delivery guy," you grumbled.
He held up the bag of Chinese food in his hand. "Caught him on the way in. He was more than happy to hand it to me so he could get out of the rain."
You sighed. "Come in then, before you get pneumonia."
He followed you into your townhouse, shutting the door behind him. He stopped in the entryway, clothes dripping all over the floor.
"I'll get you a couple towels."
"Thanks," he said sheepishly.
Even after toweling himself off, he was still soaking wet. He removed his coat and his suit jacket, leaving him in his white button down, which in its current state, did nothing to hide the body beneath it.
You swallowed thickly and averted your gaze. "So what brings you to my house in the pouring rain on a Friday night?"
"I...I thought we could talk," he mumbled.
You gestured to your dining table. "Pull up a seat. I got enough Chinese food for 4 people."
He sat down at the table across from you and you silently pulled out the different containers.
"Just don't touch the potstickers," you said lightly, the ghost of a smile playing across your lips.
He chuckled. "I learned my lesson on that one."
A couple years ago, the team had gotten Chinese food to sustain them on a late night of work. Hotch made the mistake of taking the last potsticker mere seconds before you came back for it. Every other person on the team knew better than to take the last one without asking you first and Hotch learned first-hand that night how aggressive you got about potstickers.
The two of you ate in silence for a little while. Since he'd come here without warning, you decided to simply wait him out. If he had something he wanted to say, he'd need to just come out and say it.
You were half-tempted to start humming the Jeopardy tune when Hotch finally spoke up.
"Sorry for stopping by unannounced."
"It's alright. I didn't have any exciting plans anyway," you said, gesturing to the containers on the table.
He smiled, but it didn't quite reach his eyes. You could tell he was uncomfortable, but you weren't about to ease his pain. You were still annoyed with him.
"So I--I think I owe you an apology," he began.
You raised your eyebrows.
"I do owe you an apology," he corrected.
"Go on."
He cleared his throat and shifted in his seat. "I shouldn't have done what I did that night at the hotel."
"In what sense?"
"I shouldn't have slept with you," he said softly.
You winced, but he wasn't looking at your face, so he missed your expression. "Right," you snapped, standing up. "Well if that's all--"
He finally looked up at you and you saw the pain in his eyes. It softened your heart and your expression. "Please," he whispered. "Just let me finish."
You sighed and sat back down.
"Can I start over?" he asked.
You nodded. "Please do."
"Do you remember when you first joined the team?"
"Of course."
"So do I. Better than I should, actually," he mumbled. "When you first started, I thought you were amazing. You were so incredibly smart, but so humble. You made me laugh, you brightened my day every single day...you made me feel something I wasn't sure I'd ever feel."
You inhaled softly, his words stirring something inside of you that you weren't sure you wanted to feel.
"Those first few weeks were incredible and I was so glad that you'd joined the team--not just because I enjoyed your company, but because of how good of a profiler you are. I realized there was a problem pretty early on and it changed everything for me." He sighed. "I started to treat you differently from the rest of the team and I'll admit I took it a little too far. I thought if I pushed you as far away as I could, then I wouldn't want you anymore."
He ran his fingers through his hair and stood up. He started pacing the length of the dinning room, eyes trained on the floor. "The thing is, you'd already managed to wedge yourself in my heart and nothing I did changed that. I kept telling myself that I'm your boss and I can't feel what I feel for you--that I can't have you. I was so angry at the whole situation that I started taking it out on you--and you didn't deserve that." He finally looked up at you. "You don't deserve that."
There were tears in your eyes, but you didn't say a word--you couldn't.
"The night of the op...I struggled to keep my composure from the moment you walked out in that dress. You looked so incredibly beautiful--you took my breath away. But when we walked into that ballroom and those men looked at you so hungrily...it disgusted me. The mere thought of any one of them touching you made me sick to my stomach, especially knowing what kind of people they were."
He looked angry even in that moment, as if talking about it was unbearable.
"My natural protective instincts kicked in and I almost forgot what we were there to do. I know I teased you a little and I'm sorry about that--it was unprofessional."
"You weren't the only one doing the teasing," you reminded him gently.
He smiled slowly. "True. But still. I shouldn't have done that." He clenched his jaw. "But when Andrew Connors looked at you, I saw red. I knew he was the unsub before he even came over to us. The way he looked at you...it terrified me. Then I had to watch him walk away with you and I couldn't breathe, (Y/N). The thought of something happening to you was overwhelming."
"I didn't know," you whispered.
"I've gotten very good at hiding what I'm feeling," he conceded. "When we busted into his hotel room and I didn't see you right away...my brain jumped to the worst conclusions. But then I saw you and you looked uncomfortable, but alive. I've never felt relief like that in my life."
You offered him a small smile and he continued.
"When you told me that he'd touched you, I almost lost it, but you were so calm. It didn't bother you the way it bothered me, and I realized that part of the reason I was so upset was because of how I thought of you--the possessiveness I felt--like you were mine. I couldn't stand the thought of him touching what belonged to me."
He paused. "I'm not saying you belong to me--that's just how it felt to me in that moment," he clarified. "By the time we got back to the hotel, I was so worked up I could hardly control myself. That sassy little attitude of yours was the last straw and I broke."
"You didn't actually break--I invited you in," you said softly.
"I literally caged you against a wall."
"And you asked me to tell you to stop. I didn't want you to."
His expression shifted slightly. "You didn't? Like even now looking back?"
You laughed mirthlessly. "Hotch, did you really think you forced yourself on me?"
He nodded slowly.
"You know me better than that. If I didn't want to do it, it wouldn't have happened."
"I just thought that maybe you were feeling confused and pent-up like I was and you just gave in because I was there."
"Do you know how terrible that sounds?"
"You're so out of my league it's not even funny--and I'm your boss! Are you really so surprised that's what I was thinking?!"
You inhaled sharply. "I'm not out of your league, Aaron Hotchner."
"Of course you are!" he insisted.
You groaned in annoyance. "How many men have I dated since I joined the BAU?"
"What?" he asked in confusion.
"How many?" you asked again.
"I...I don't know. You've never mentioned anyone."
You nodded. "That's because there hasn't been a single man. Not one."
"Not one? How is that possible?"
"Not a single one. Do you know why?"
He shook his head.
"You," you said simply.
"Me?"
"I wanted you from the moment we met and for some damn reason that's never changed, even with the way we treated each other."
His face was filled with complete and utter shock, which surprised you.
"You're a profiler, Aaron," you teased. "Did you really not know?"
He shook his head. "Maybe I just didn't want to believe it."
"Why not?"
"Because then I wouldn't have an excuse to keep us apart."
"And now?" you whispered.
He crossed the space between you and grabbed your hand, pulling you up out of your chair. "I can't take any of this back, (Y/N), and to be honest, I don't want to."
You gently caressed his face. "Something real?" you asked softly.
He turned his face into your hand and kissed your palm. "Something real," he confirmed.
You stood on your tiptoes and pulled him down to kiss you, his lips softly caressing yours. You moaned softly as you leaned into him, deepening the kiss. His arms snaked around your lower body, pulling you flush against him.
When you finally separated to breathe, Hotch leaned his forehead against yours. "I don't want to be presumptuous--" he began.
"Bedroom is the first room on the left," you murmured.
He chuckled. "You read my mind."
He slid his hands under your thighs and pulled you up with ease. You wrapped your legs around his waist with a giggle as he carried you to your bedroom.
"So strong, Agent Hotchner," you teased warmly.
"Hmm," he hummed. "I like these titles you use."
"Oh really? I hadn't noticed."
He tossed you down onto the bed and you laughed lightly.
"What are you gonna do to me, sir?"
He groaned softly. "You're going to be the death of me, beautiful."
You smiled and leaned back on your elbows. "I certainly hope not. I have plans for you."
"Sounds ominous," he teased.
You grinned. "You're going to love it, I promise. Now, why don't you lose those wet clothes?"
He smiled. "Only because you asked so sweetly." He started to unbutton his shirt tantalizingly slowly, eyes never leaving yours.
You bit your lip as you watched him, silently begging him to speed it up.
After what felt like an eternity he slid the shirt off his shoulders and onto the floor, but of course he was still wearing his undershirt. He started to very slowly lift it up, eliciting a groan from you.
"Aaron."
He chuckled. "Alright, alright." He pulled the shirt off over his head and tossed it onto the floor.
You let out a little hum of approval, which made him blush. He was a confident man, but he felt very exposed under your gaze.
He shed his pants quickly, leaving nothing on but his boxers. You eyed the bulge appreciatively, the memories of his size on the forefront of your mind.
"I think you're a little overdressed, baby," he teased lightly.
You looked down at your t-shirt and pj pants. "Hmm...you might be right." You yanked your shirt off in one smooth motion, tossing it to the side before looking back at him.
He practically pounced onto the bed, eyes glued to your torso. "No bra?" he whispered.
"I wasn't expecting company."
"I'm not complaining," he said almost reverently as he hovered over you, hands touching your sides.
He licked his lips before kissing you softly, moving down the column of your throat down towards your breasts. He swirled his tongue around your nipple before giving it a light nip as he took it into his mouth.
Your back arched towards him and a soft moan left your lips. Your hands immediately went to his broad shoulders, holding onto him as he toyed with you.
His hands slid down your sides, fingers digging into your skin as he went. He didn't want to let go of you, but he needed to remove your pants. He was dying to bury himself between your legs.
You wiggled your hips to help him as he tugged off your pjs. "Baby," he groaned, as you laid before him completely bare. "Never wear underwear ever again."
You laughed lightly. "If you promise to keep looking at me like that, I'll burn every pair I own."
He grinned wolfishly. "I'll make it worth your while."
He gripped your thighs and tugged your legs apart with gentle force. You gasped softly and his eyes flicked up to you to make sure you were okay. What he saw had him moaning with need of his own.
Your eyes were hooded and filled with lust, lips parted, a warm blush heating your face. You bit your lip when you caught him staring and shifted your hips slightly to get his attention back where you wanted it.
He gave you a little smirk before lowering himself comfortably between your legs. He nipped at the soft flesh of your inner thighs, hands massaging your hips gently.
"Aaron," you whined.
"Patience, sweetheart," he mumbled.
You whimpered softly, but you had a feeling he would make it worth the wait.
His lips slowly made their way towards your core, warming your body from the outside in. After what felt like an eternity, his tongue finally darted out sliding between your folds with ease.
You gasped in pleasure as he settled in, mouth moving against your core with expert precision. Every swipe of his tongue, movement of his lips, and vibration from his moans had you shivering with pleasure.
It didn't take him very long to work you into a heated frenzy. Within minutes, you were coming apart on his tongue, cries of his name reverberating through the bedroom. Your fingers clutched his dark hair, giving it a light tug when the pleasure became too much.
He lifted himself up, licking his lips as he eyed you with a dark look. His ministrations had only served to fuel his hunger and you could tell he was struggling to maintain his control.
"Can I taste you?" you asked sweetly.
Surprise lit up his features. "You--you don't have to."
You furrowed your brows. "I want to--badly."
He nodded hesitantly, rolling over to allow you access. He helped you remove his boxers and you inhaled sharply when his cock sprang free. You hadn't gotten a very good look at it the last time, but you'd known it was large. Now seeing it, all you wanted to do was feel the weight against your tongue.
You gripped the shaft firmly, pulling a soft moan from his throat. You licked your lips before pressing kisses to the head, the shaft, and his balls. You traced the large vein on the shaft with your tongue before slipping his large member into your mouth.
"Fuck," he groaned, hands immediately wrapping themselves in your hair.
Your mouth was so warm and wet, and the way you moved had him breathing heavily and making the sexiest sounds you'd ever heard. Each one spurred you on and your motions quickened.
"Just like that baby," he moaned. "Feels amazing."
You hummed appreciatively around his cock, the vibrations sending a wave of pleasure through his body. His hips jerked up to meet your mouth and you gagged slightly.
A look of panic crossed his face at the sound, but when he looked down at you, it was clear you didn't mind. You pushed yourself a little lower onto his cock, gagging again as you took him into your throat. You wanted to make sure he knew you were into it.
He was surprised by how much it turned him on, his moans becoming almost embarrassingly loud. "Gonna cum if you keep doing that," he said lowly.
You sped up slightly, the only signal you gave him that you wanted exactly that--his cum pouring down your throat.
Moments later, he gasped your name as he came, and you swallowed every drop he gave you. You paid special attention to the head of his cock as he came down from his high, making sure to prolong his pleasure as much as possible.
He tugged your hair gently, pulling you off of him and up to his face so he could kiss you. When you separated, he was completely breathless.
"Where--" he breathed deeply, trying to steady his heart rate. "Where did you learn...to do...that?"
You grinned. "A magician never reveals her secrets," you teased with a wink.
He chuckled. "Best I've ever had, hands down."
You blushed. "Thank you."
"Thank you," he countered. He flipped you onto your back and climbed on top of you again.
"Oh!" you gasped in surprise as your back hit the mattress. "We're not done?"
He looked surprised. "Do you wanna be?"
You shook your head rapidly, causing him to laugh. "It's just--in my experience, most men are one and done."
"Oh baby, you've been hanging out with all the wrong men," he teased. "Besides, you only came once."
Your brows knit together in confusion. "So...?"
"I need at least two more from you."
"Two more? I've never cum more than once during sex."
"Oh now that sounds like a challenge," he said devilishly. "And I love a good challenge."
You blushed a little and wiggled slightly under him.
"Hey," he said softly. "We don't have to do anything you don't wanna do. Tell me to stop and I will, no matter what."
You smiled warmly and touched his cheek. "I appreciate that. I want you...I'm just not used to the whole 'multiple orgasms' thing."
He kissed your palm. "May I try?"
You nodded slowly. "Please..."
"I'll go slow, baby."
In a split second, you decided you didn't want him to go slow. You wanted him to ruin you and you had a pretty good idea how to rile him up.
"I want you to fuck me until I can't walk, sir." You put a lot of emphasis on the title, hoping it would have the desired effect.
You weren't disappointed. His eyes darkened instantly and his grip on your hips tightened. "Is that what you want, huh? You want me to use this sweet little pussy for my own pleasure?"
You inhaled sharply, desire evident in your expression. "Make me scream," you begged.
Hotch shifted his body and thrust into you without any warning, earning a cry of pained pleasure from your lips. "I can't deny such a pretty little request," he growled before he began to pound into you, setting a brutal pace.
You cried out again as the pain faded away, leaving only white hot pleasure in its wake. Your nails clawed at his back, finding purchase anywhere they could.
"Shit, baby--this pussy was made for me," he mumbled against the shell of your ear.
"Oh god," you moaned loudly.
"Keep making those pretty little sounds for me, baby."
His thrusts were measured and precise, each one hitting your sweet spot and sending waves of pleasure through you. Every inch of your body was on fire, from the tips of your toes up to the roots of your hair. You had never in your life felt this incredible and you never wanted it to end.
"Aaron," you gasped. "I'm so--so close."
"Fuck--" he growled. "Say my name again."
"Aaron."
Somehow his pace increased and it sent you tumbling right over the edge. You came with surprising force, pussy pulsating around his cock. As badly as he would have liked to keep his pace, he had to slow down to avoid cumming too.
"That's it, baby," he murmured against your neck. "Doing so well for me. Gonna give me one more?"
You hadn't been sure it was possible for you to have two orgasms, let alone three, but you were 100% willing to try. You nodded, but it wasn't enough for him.
"Can you use those words for me, pretty girl?"
"Yes, sir," you murmured.
He groaned and began to pick up his pace again. "That's my good girl."
Your eyes widened and your nails dug into his flesh slightly. The burning sensation caught his attention and he smiled. "You like that don't you? You wanna be my good girl?"
You nodded hastily. "Yes, sir. Please. I'll be so good for you."
He grinned. "Of course you will, baby."
He shifted his weight and pulled your legs up to his chest, allowing him to thrust even more deeply inside of you. His thrusts never faltered, his pace remained steady.
You whimpered below him, the pleasure almost too much. Your body was so sensitive, but you didn't want him to stop. "Please," you whispered.
"Please what, sweetheart? Tell me what you need."
"More," you begged.
He kissed your leg softly before sliding a hand down between your thighs. He began to gently circle your clit as he continued pounding into you. Your moans grew in volume and your legs began to shake as the pleasure built.
"I know you're close, baby," he groaned. "I need you to cum for me."
You moaned as he increased the pressure on your clit. The feeling of his hands on you, his cock filling you up so thoroughly, and the gentle skill of his fingers combined to send you to the very edge.
You knew you needed something more--but you weren't sure if he would be comfortable with it. Neither of you had exactly had time to discuss what you were into in the bedroom.
You reached up and grabbed his hand from your leg, pulling it towards your face. He watched you, a look of confusion marring his handsome features. You placed his hand on the base of your neck, giving it a light squeeze to ensure he knew what you wanted.
His eyes widened, but he didn't move his hand. "Are you sure?" he whispered.
You nodded quickly. "Please, Aaron--I need it."
He groaned lowly and added a small amount of pressure to your throat, not enough to choke you, but enough for you to know he was there and he was in control.
You gasped in pleasure, the mixture of the various sensations threatening to overwhelm you. Within moments, you were crying out as you came, body shaking beneath his as wave after wave of pleasure washed over you.
"Shit--" he moaned loudly. "I'm gonna--gonna cum."
"Fill me up," you begged.
It was all he needed to hear to cum, a cry of your name falling from his lips. His cock filled with you with what felt like an endless amount of his seed, his orgasm lasting for several seconds.
Finally, he collapsed on top of you, breathing heavily. He kissed whatever skin he could reach as he tried to catch his breath.
"That was pretty decent," you said breathily, a teasing tone lacing your voice.
"Just decent?" he asked, head lifting to glare at you affectionately.
"Sooooo decent."
He laughed and you shot him a grin.
"Seriously, Aaron. It was fucking amazing."
"I couldn't agree more. I can stay here forever." He kissed your jaw. "Unless I'm hurting you?"
You shook your head. "I kinda like your body weight on top of me. Feels nice."
"Good because I don't think I can move yet."
You laughed warmly and wrapped your arms around him to hold him tightly against you. "You're pretty cute like this."
"Did you just call me cute?" he mumbled against your skin.
"Mhmm."
"Thanks, baby," he said with a little chuckle. "You're pretty damn cute too."
"Just cute?" you teased.
He lifted his head to look at you and smiled warmly. "You are absolutely the most beautiful woman I have ever seen in my life. And right now? God...literal perfection."
You blushed, your entire face turning red. "Aaron..."
"I'm serious, (Y/N)."
"Thank you," you said softly.
He lifted himself up so he could look down at you better. "I'm going to tell you every second of every day so you don't forget."
You laughed lightly. "You're a dork."
"And you're sexy."
You laughed harder. "I kinda like this game."
He kissed you gently before sitting up entirely. "How 'bout I run a bath for you, hmm?"
"That sounds nice."
You watched him as he walked to your adjoining bathroom and began to fill up the tub. You smiled as you watched him, feeling incredibly happy. He was so handsome and sweet...just like you'd thought he was when you first met him.
You had never been thankful for an unsub or a case before...but you were thankful for this one. This case changed everything for you and you had a strong feeling the change was going to be permanent.
Hotch turned around to look at you with a warm smile and you felt it in your bones, this deep adoration for the man in front of you. You felt happy for the first time in years, really and truly happy--and you knew it was going to last forever.

Against all odds
Rafe Cameron x fem!reader
Word count- 1567
Warnings: Smutttt, a little bit of fluff, acedemic rivals (kind of, idk how to write it)
Authors note: I'm actually so sorry this took so long, idek why but it was a bit hard to write. Anyway, it's here and I hope you enjoy.
This was based of off @weirdowithnobeardo 's idea which is the first comment on this post
âOk, can somebody tell me the answer to question b?â Quickly, hands flew up in the air. âMr Cameron, what is the answer?â â4x+7n=33yâ Rafe said confidently. ââThatâs wrong.â I announced. âGo on, whatâs your theory Miss y/n?â My teacher said, âItâs 4x+7n=36y because x is equal to 2.â I stated. âThat is correct y/n, well done.â My teacher smiled at me. I smiled in Rafeâs direction but he just glared at me. Next period science, we got our tests back, âSo Cameron, what did you get?â I asked Rafe curiously. â94%, you?â â99%â I replied with a smile. Again, he seemed so angry at me for getting a higher score. This went on for the next couple of weeks, He acted like we were academic rivals.
3 weeks later
There it was, the test sitting on my desk, a bright red âA+â written in the top right corner. I was proud of myself for scoring so high on such a hard test. It was 40% of my final GPA result so I had to score high. I turned around to see Rafe staring daggers at me. âBad result Cameron?â I asked him teasingly. âShut up y/l/nâ He growled as he clenched his jaw. I giggled to myself and turned my attention back to the teacher.Â
The bell rang for the end of the day and I hurriedly grabbed my backpack and ran to my locker. My friend Maddy always meets me at my locker because weâre in different year levels, Maddyâs in 10th and Iâm in 11th grade. âSo, how was your day Mads?â I asked unlocking my locker. âShit. So fucking shit you have no idea.â âIâm sure it couldn't have been that bad.â I laughed. âNo, y/n it was bad. So bad in fact that I got broken up with by Jason the son of a bitch in front of half the cafeteria.â She announced. âOh shit, sorry babe, he was no good for you anyway.â I said walking away with her.Â
As we were walking to my car, Maddy realised she had forgotten something in her locker so she ran back towards the buildings. Suddenly, I felt a rough hand grab hold of my upper arm and pin me against a wall. A hand covered my mouth to stop me from screaming. âOh you son of a bitch. Youâre so fucking done little girl.â I knew the voice sounded familiar but I couldnât quite figure out who it was. When my eyes finally adjusted to the light and situation, I realised it was Jason and his group of friends.Â
âSo, did you and Maddy talk shit about me to the school after what I did to her?â He asked again, still keeping me against the wall. âWhat the fuck. No we didnât, why would you think that?â I was astonished at the accusation. âBecause, now the whole school thinks that I have an STD and all the girls Iâve slept with have smashed my locker and put slime in the gas tank of my car.â He complained. âWow, creative girls for real.â I said with a little laugh. âOk, if it wasnât you, then who was it?âÂ
âIt was me, you son of a bitch!â Yelled Rafe, walking towards us. âWhy?! Why the fuck would you do that?â Jason asked, close to tears. Rafe pulls a phone out of his pocket and starts reading some texts -Â
ââCâmon Maddy, It wonât be that bad. Why donât you wanna sleep with me?â
âBecause Iâm not ready for that Jason, Iâve told you a million times. We have only been together a month and Iâm not ready to have sex yet. Just stop asking me already.â
âFine. Go fuck some other dude, you fucking slut. Youâll regret not being with me.â âWhat do you mean Jason? Are you breaking up with me??ââÂ
âHey! Where did you get my phone from you bitch?!â Jason asked launching himself at Rafe, who dodged the blow perfectly. âYou left her on delivered for 9 hours just so you could slut shame her and break up with her in the cafeteria in front of everyone, all because she didnât want to sleep with you?! Not to mention you cheated on her the entire relationship. Youâre a real ass man.â Rafe said. âI suggest you leave Maddy, Y/n and all the other girls youâve messed with, alone and get on with your life.â Rafe yelled as Jason and his friends ran away.
They knew how powerful Rafe could be and they didnât want to get on his bad side. âThanks Rafe. Why did you do that anyway?â I asked, âDonât think I did it for you, I hate Jason.â âOh, okay.â I replied sheepishly before walking away, back to my car and to meet with Maddy. The drive home was silent after I told Maddy all about what happened. Her being in disbelief about what Rafe had done to Jason.Â
A couple weeks later, it was Midsummers, I had bought a nice dress and had a plan laid out on how we were going to spend the evening with Maddy and her sister, Kiara. Kiara picked us up and we drove to the Cameronâs mansion as that was where the party was. Kiara was friends with Sarah, Rafes younger sister.
A couple hours into the party, Rafe approached me, taking my hand and dragging me upstairs. âRafe, what are you doing?â I whispered, âTaking you to my room.â âWhy?â I asked, a little scared. âBecause you look way too beautiful in that dress and I noticed JJ basically eye fucking you.â He turned to face me, looking very sexy in his button down shirt and his hair falling into his eyes. Without thinking I put my hand out to brush his hair away from his face, he grabbed my neck and leaned down to kiss me.Â
âNo, Rafe, we canât do this.â I said as I pulled away. âWhy not y/n?â âBecause, Iâm a pogue, you're a kook and you should hate me. In fact, you did act like you hated me after you stood up for me in front of Jason, and now suddenly youâre acting all jealous when JJ looks at me?â I asked in a confronting manner. âLook, y/n, I like you.â âNo, we canât Rafe. Your dad is gonna kill you and my parents are gonna fucking disown me or something if they found out I was dating a kook, especially Mr Rafe Cameron with his bad reputation.âÂ
Rafe didnât say another word, he just leaned down again to kiss me, This time it was more passionate. At that moment, I didnât even care that we shouldnât be doing this, I just kissed him back. Rafe picked me up and carried me to his room. He threw me on the bed and locked the door. He crawled on top of me and placed feather light kisses along my neck to my cleavage. âCan I?â he asked as his fingers were tangled in the strap off my dress. âMmmh,â I responded softly as he carefully took off my dress.Â
I tugged at his belt, hinting for him to take off his pants as I unbuttoned his shirt. Within minutes, we were both butt naked, he took my boobs in his hands, massaging them and kissing along them. I moaned at the pleasure. I palmed his cock through his boxers and I felt him getting hard underneath my hand. Quickly, Rafe ripped off his boxers and rubbed his cock against my entrance. Already slick and wet, he pushed inside. I moaned as he did so, Rafe thrusted slowly and sensually.
âMmh, You like that baby?â He asked, staring into my eyes. âSo much Rafe.â I replied. Rolling my eyes back as Rafe thrusted harder into my soaking cunt and he kissed along my breasts. Soon, I was nearing my release, my cunt tightening around him. And a couple thrusts later I had come undone onto his thick cock. âFuck baby, I'm gonna come.â âCome in me Rafe.â I begged him and seconds later he squirted his hot cum into my pussy. Out of breath and panting, I crawled on top of him, lying on his chest, my hands tangled in his hair as he kissed my neck. âPromise we can keep this a secret for a little while longer until I tell my parents?â I asked him. Rafe nodded and uttered a soft âyesâ. I kissed him one more time before getting up and getting dressed.Â
âIâm gonna head back down stairs okay? The girls are gonna be worried about where I was.â I told him, opening the door. âOne more kiss babe.â Rafe said and when I turned around, seeing his abs again stirred something deep within me. Want. I wanted this man. His hair, his face, his body, his personality towards me. I wanted everything about him. I didnât think, I just jumped back onto the bed into his arms. Rafe kissed me hard and passionate and I melted into his touch. Soon we were back at it again, he was thrusting slowly and sensually into my soaked cunt as I buried my face in his shoulder quieting my moans.
That night was the best sex I ever had.Â
I also got a super protective boyfriend.
I hope you guys liked this đ

Summary: After reader does something to âsave the groupâ, itâs still seen as a problem by Rick.
Warnings: TWD themes, walkers, blood, killing/death, weapons, arguing, readerâs in their 20âs, Daryl and reader have something going on, Rick and reader donât get along, gorey/horror-ish
Iâve had this idea stewing in my head for days
Word Count: 2.4k | unedited
»»âââ-ăăâââ-««
You watched the walker drop to your feet as you withdrawal your knife from its skull, âAre there anymore?â
Maggie shakes her head, âNo, I think thatâs all of âem, for now, at least.â She lets out a sigh, âI just wanna get these kids to the kingdom. Who knows whatâs going to happen with hilltop.â
You nod, âWe will, okay.â You reach out and squeeze her arm, âThese kids are my number one priority right now.â
âAlright. Letâs keep it movinâ.â Rick announces, âShould be about another hours walk.â
Maggie moves to walk next to the carriage and you fall back to walk next to Daryl, âWhatâs going on with Rick lately?â
âWhatcha mean, darlinâ?â He asks as he glances over at you.
You shrug, âHeâs just been, how do I put it without sounding too mean.. mm.. a major ass?â Daryl chuckles at your words and you scoff, âIâm serious, Daryl. Maybe itâs just me but-â
âNah, it is just you. I ainât gonâlie.â Daryl smirks, adjusting his strap on his shoulder, âHe donât like how yâgo against him sometimes.â
âAll for good reason.â You mumble, and Daryl nods, âI know, I know. But itâs-â
âJust how Rick is.â You glance over at Daryl and he sighs, âHeâll come around, yâjus gotta fall back a little.â
âFall back a little.â You laugh and shake your head, âYou must not know me at all.â You smirk at him and he shrugs, shaking his head, âKnow yâbetter than yâknow yourself.â
Everything comes to a halt and you and Daryl quickly snap into action.
His cross bow up, and your pistol tight in your grasp, âWhatâs going on?â You whisper and Maggie turns around, âRick see something.â She shrugs, âI donât know, he just put his-â
âEveryone. Woods. Now..â Rick motions to the tree line and you, Sasha and Glenn instantly start helping Maggie get the kids out.
Luckily, there were only five on this trip, and most were old enough to understand what was happening. You motion for them to follow Maggie and you follow behind them.
âMaggie.â She looks at you and you motion towards a fallen tree and she nods, guiding the kids and in the direction.
Rick and Daryl stay back, closer to the road to see whats going on. You turn to Sasha, âGo with Maggie. Iâm going to stay in between, watching for anything around us.â
âYou sure?â She asks and you nod, âYeah, just protect those kids.â
She nods and moves back with Maggie.
You look around, staying at the ready. Your blood was pumping as you seen an old car come to a stop, four people stepping out at once.
âOh ho ho. What do we have here?â The one says from a distance, âLooks too fresh for it be left here, right?â
That wasnât people from the kingdom, hilltop, or even Alexandria.
You glance back at everyone by the tree, and your attention is caught by some old sheds that are taken over by overgrown weeds.
You motion for Sasha and Maggie to look behind them and they both quickly pick up on what youâre saying. As they get ready to move, Rick, Daryl, and Glenn move to where you are and you can hear Rick sigh, âWhy are they moving?â
âThereâs some old sheds back there. I figured it would be sa-â
Rick cuts you off, âYou think itâs best to move them when theyâre literally right there on the road?â
âAâright, aâright, we donât have time for this.â Daryl glances back towards the me and you watch as Maggie and Sasha get the kids into the sheds, them following.
Rick doesnât say a word, he just looks down, shaking his head.
âShit. Theyâre cominâ.â Daryl pushes you against the tree and stands in front of you. Rick and Glenn move to different trees and you wait.
âThey gotta be around here somewhere.â The one says, âWith somethinâ like that, they canât be too much further.â
âHow many ya thinkin?â
âProbably a few. Ainât no way someone solo is travelinâ like that.â
Daryl glances down at you, giving you a nod and you nod back. He leans out slightly and looks, leaning back in. He looks over at Rick and motions and Rick nods, mouthing, âDonât. Move.â
You hear the footsteps get closer then they stop.
âHey, Lyle. Over here.â
The footsteps depart and Glenn quickly makes his way to the sheds. Rick moves over to you and Daryl, âWe need to wait them out.â
âThey know weâre here, jusâdont know where.â Daryl shrugs, âWe can takeâem out, thereâs only four ofâem.â
âAnd risk open gun fire into the sheds, no.â Rick motions to the buildings and shakes his head, âNo way.â
âI have a plan, but I donât think either of you are gonna like it.â You look between them, âIâll distract them. Two of them are bound to follow me. You guys get the other two, then go with Maggie, Sasha, and the kids.â
âYou ainât doinâ that alone.â Daryl argues and you shrug, âWhat other choice do we have?â
Rick stays quiet, and you sigh quietly, âIâm fast. Iâll lose them then loop around to the kingdom. Just tell them Iâm coming and let them know about what happened.â
Before either one of them can stop you, you take off, running back the way you came from.
âHey! Hey! Thereâs one!â
You were running as fast as your feet could carry you.
You ran for a few more minutes before you dive down behind some large rocks, giving yourself a few seconds to catch your breath before you get up. You peak around, looking to see if theyâre coming.
Two of them are following. Just like you said they would.
You heard faint gun shots from where you left Daryl, and you can only hope that it was successful shots from your side.
âI think she went this way.â
âWe gotta go back man, they probably killed Lyle and Paul.â
You being your gun around, firing off a quick shot which hits one in the arm, âAh! Fuck!â
âShit, shit, shit! Brian, hold on.â
You take your moment and keep going, ducking down when you hear the gun fire. You stop behind another big tree, panting as you check to see how many rounds you have left, and thankfully you have more than enough.
âCome on out, sweetheart. We just want to talk.â The man chuckles, âIf anything.. I think we need to work on your aim.â
You roll your eyes, snapping your head over when you hear a few walkers making their way towards all the noise, âShit.â You whisper quietly, resting your head back against the tree as you think quick.
âI promise I wonât hurtâcha.â The man sighs, âHere. Iâll even take care of these living dead shitbags for you.â
As he fires his gun, the guy you shot comes around the tree, only to be met with your gun to his face, âIf you want your friend here to live I suggest pu-â
The guy fights back, slamming your wrist against the tree. You drop the gun, groaning as he pushes you against the tree. You kick out, catching him in his side and he groans, stumbling back, âFuckinâ bitch.â
You drop down, picking up your gun and firing at him. His stomach takes the bullet and he drops to the ground, yelling for his friend, âGet her, Derek. Fuck, sheâs right here.â
You feel a hand on your shoulder and itâs a walker. You grab its arm and push it towards the guy on the ground. His screams fill the air and you back up, waiting for the other guy to show his face.
A bullet smacks off the tree next to you and you turn to run. You duck down behind a fallen tree and aim, waiting for the perfect time.
The guy peaks his head out from behind the tree and you fire. You instantly hear the gurgling scream and thatâs when you know, your aim is fine.
You walk back up, knifing the walkers in the skull as you make your way to where the guy was laying, choking on his own blood.
You bend down, taking his pistol, âLooks like my aim is just fine.â You walk back, killing the walker that ate half of the guys face. You grab his gun and keep walking.
As you make your way back to the sheds, a part of you hoped they were still there, but a part of you hoped they got the kids and ran.
You go to each of the shed doors, whispering before opening each one, and there was no trace of them. You let out a sigh of relief, walking up to the other two bodies that were lying on the ground.
One had a hole from an arrow and you couldnât help but crack a smile.
The other one, you assume, Rick shot in the chest. You bend down, knifing him in the head before picking up the knife laying next to his body.
You make your way out to the road and start walking towards the kingdom.
If you had to guess, you were about a half hour or so, behind them. So it wouldnât be long until Rick was tearing your head off.
You were tired, so you werenât rushing to catch up to them, you knew youâd be fine. And you were. As soon as you walk up to the kingdom, youâre met with the guards and they let you in.
Sasha and Maggie run up to you, âYou okay?â Maggie asks as she looks over your face, âYa arenât hurt are you?â
You shake your head, âI mean, my wrist might be a little bruised, but here.â You pull the two guns from your waist band and hand them to Sasha, âThey were on the two that were following me.â
âYou are one badass bitch.â Sasha laughs as she takes them, âGlad youâre good. Seriously.â
You nod, looking over at Daryl whoâs leaning up against the one house and you give him a smirk.
That smirk is quickly taken away when Rick steps into your line of sight, âCan we, uh.. talk for a minute?â
âYou mean yell at me for a minute?â You roll your eyes and look over at Maggie and Sasha who are walking away.
âYou could have gotten everyone killed.â Rick grumbles, âDo you not think?â
âOh no, Rick. I thought about it. I thought about the lives of those kids who made it here in one piece. I thought about just taking a shot at all of them. I thought about shoving you out in the open and letting them fire at you. Trust me, Rick. I thought about a lot of things out there.â You go to walk away and Rick keeps going, âI had a plan, y/n. Okay? I had a plan to get us all out of there without having to separate like that.â
âWhat? You were going to talk our way out of it? How many times has just talking your way out of it work? Huh? The, the, fuck. Terminus? Um, those guys on the road? Rick you bit a guys fucking throat out.â
âWeâre not talking about terminus or the guys on the road. Weâre talking about children, and how your actions about got them-â
âDonât you dare put that on me.â You shake your head, walking up to him, âI made it easy on you. I ran, took two with me. From the looks of it, you and Daryl had it easy, or at least Daryl did. The chest, Rick? Really.â You laugh slightly, âI donât understand why you have such a fucking problem with me.â
âYou donât listen to anything anyone says here.â Rick scoffs, âYouâre rebellious. Youâre thoughtful and you just do what you think is best. You crossed damn like, y/n.â
âI crossed a line?!â You laugh slightly, your anger boiling up even more, âYou do what you think is best, right? Rick, I always have a plan. No matter who the hell Iâm with. I always have a backup plan. An escape plan. Whatever.â you shrug, âIâm a person of action.â
You turn to walk away but stop, âOh, and they didnât start firing until I was a good distance away from the sheds, so fuck off, Rick.â
âI want you out of here.â
You stop, looking up at Daryl whoâs now walking over with his attention now turned to Rick.
You turn back, âWhat?â
âYou heard me. You can leave in the morning.â Rick shrugs, âIf youâre not going to consider everyone elseâs safety then-â
âThose kids were and will continue to be my number one priority, Rick. Why are you so blind to see that I put my life on the line so you could get those kids here?â
âI didnât ask you to do that. I told you to not move and what did you do?â Rick tilts his head and you squint, âThose kids are safe. Iâm okay. Youâre okay. What is the big fucking issue?â
âThe issue is-â
Daryl cuts Rick off, âAâright, thatâs enough. Drawinâ a crowd.â
Rick walks away and you purse your lips to try and not laugh, âsomeoneâs gotta pull the stick out of his ass.â
âI told ya to lay off.â Daryl stares at you and you sigh, âCan we do this later, I need something for this wrist.â
âYeah, câmon. You can tell me what happened then I can give ya the whole spiel.â Daryl chuckles as he lays his arm over your shoulders.
âYou know Iâm right, Daryl.â You smirk up at him and he shakes his head, âIâm not sayinâ youâre not. Iâm just sayinâ you canât be doinâ what you did all the time, y/n.â
âYouâre worried about me.â You tease with a smile and he scoffs, âWhatever ya wanna call it, aâright.â He leans in to kiss your head and you glare at Rick as you walk by him to go to medical.

foggy
summary: "Perhaps most tantalizing of all were his glassesâtheir lenses were lightly fogged, but you could still almost see his wide eyes behind them." rating: explicit (18+ mdni) pairing: bob floyd x f!reader word count: ~2.9k warnings: idiots pining, car sex (lol), hangman being hangman, no use of y/n. notes: Inspired by me thinking about Bob's glasses getting all fogged up. y'all i wish i could apologize for this but all i can think abt is this man and how someone once said they wanna chew on him like a polly pocket.. anyways please let me know what you think ! no beta we die like men tagging: @sebsxphia @theharddeck - tagging ppl either by request or whom i feel like luv bob soooo pls let me know if you'd like to be added/removed
You were usually far more behaved than this, really. You paid attention in your classes, did your work, showed up on time to your jobâkept it all together. But there was something about him, about Bob, that just made that tiny part of you want to be reckless. And he had no idea.Â
There he was, along with the rest of the group like every Friday, sitting and watching them play pool. Theyâd hoot and holler, order drink after drink, and heâd sit and laugh along with his peanuts and his Shirley Temples or lemonades. And it made you want to jump his bones.
It was a smidge ironic that as a bartender his non-alcoholic drink choices were part of what got you going, but what could you say? A man of multitudes and contradictions was appealing, and Bob was just that. Best weapons system operator around, shy as all hell, and damn smart. He always tipped generously, never put his phone on the bar, and had interrupted more than one creep on a mission to try and ruin your Friday night (flirting is for tips, not for keeps!).Â
But any time you tried to move it past your brief interactions, he always slipped away. You figured it wasnât necessarily on purposeâ he seemed to be friendly otherwise, just probably not interested. So you resigned yourself to the occasional small chat when making drinks or he came in while the Hard Deck was a bit less noisyâand ever so often, finishing while imagining just what it would feel like to have his body pressed up against yours.Â
And this Friday began like every other. You came in right as lunch ended, and busied yourself with prepping more limes than you ever wanted to see again in your life. There were glasses to be stacked, napkins and straws to be refilled, and liquors to be restocked. Patrons would start trickling in around 5 or 6, with the majority starting to filter in around 8, clearly coming from dinner or work. By 9, the Hard Deck would be packed to the brim with fighter pilots and other people from the nearby base.Â
Your favorite fighter pilots would make it in at 8:45 pm every Friday, like clockwork. Theyâd take over the pool table with a direct eyeline to the bar, and stay till the early hours of the morning, sometimes till closing. Rooster usually bought the first round if the weather was nice, Hangman would when the weather was shit. More than once youâd tried to discern a pattern beyond that, but they seemed to have some sort of system.Â
Bob would always buy his own drinks.Â
Heâd make his way to the bar, smiling gently at you and waiting patiently while you fielded other customers. Then heâd place his drink order and ask for a refill on his cup of peanuts, and stand there humming something to himself while you poured him a drink. Tips came in cash, straight into your palms and always paired with a soft smile that made your knees weak and your pulse hammer.
Tonight was no different. He ordered his lemonade and handed you cash with a warm smile before returning to what appeared to be an increasingly hostile and heated game of pool. Sitting on the sidelines, he seemed to just be content observing the madness.Â
When Hangman approached the bar during a momentary lull, you expected it to be for another round. Except he leaned over the counter conspiratorially, and crooked a finger at you to beckon you closer.Â
âI have a secret to tell you, only itâs not really a secret.â He had a coy smile on his face like he was about to tell you heâd taken a cookie from the cookie jar.Â
You really wanted to roll your eyes at him, but you had to admit sometimes Hangman was entertaining and you figured your shift would at least be somewhat more lively with his antics. So you just shifted closer to him while maintaining an eye on the bar in case someone needed anything.Â
âDo tell.â
He pointed a finger back towards the game of pool just as Rooster sunk a shot and Phoenix high-fived him, âYou see Bob over there?â
You narrowed your eyes. You definitely didnât like where this was going. While Hangman was all huge ego on the outside, you knew he wasnât really like that on the inside, so it made you suspicious that he was deciding to pick on Bob. Usually it was all in good fun, but you had a soft spot for Bob and you really didnât want to be caught up in any hurtful gossip.
âPlay nice in my bar, Bagman.â You said, scrubbing a bit more aggressively at the countertop than you meant to.
âHey! Iâll have you know Iâm playing very nice, Iâm being a wingman instead of Hangman tonight.â Wingman? âBob over there, has a very big and bad crush on a certain someone.âÂ
You hoped this was some sort of prank, because Hangman had one perfectly manicured finger pointing at you. You felt your face go bright red.Â
âThatâs not playing nice.â God, why was this happening?Â
It was one thing to harbor your little crush on Bob, to let yourself check him out while you were sure he wasnât looking, it was another to have Hangman mock you by telling you that Bob liked you back.Â
âHe really thinks heâs being subtle,â Hangman continued as if he hadnât heard you speak, âBut he refuses to let us buy his drinks whenever weâre buying a round just so he can talk to you. I swear he spends more time up here or staring at you than he does hanging out with us.â
Saved by a customer, you let your attention drift away from Hangman and what heâd said to you. Even though he lingered, leaning on the bar, you tried not to focus on him.Â
What did he mean Bob had a crush on you? That couldnât be possible. A few weeks prior you had almost asked Bob out to dinner after not charging him for his drink, hoping that that would be enough to start a bit of flirting.Â
Instead the WSO had placed enough cash to cover his drink and a very generous tip on the bar and stammered out something about needing to get back to the game of pool him and Rooster were losing. So you took that as your hint.Â
Ever a patient asshole, Hangman was still there after you finished making drinks. Clearly being decently drunk wasnât enough to keep him from being a pain. He just kept looking between you and Bob and not saying anything.Â
âYouâre scaring other customers.â You wanted this to end, the observation, you wanted to get out from under his knowing gaze.
He flicked a cherry stem at you, and without flinching proceeded to make you feel like you were officially the worldâs least subtle person, âItâs not hard to see that you and Bob wanna jump each otherâs bones, I think once you get it out of your system youâll be perfect for each other. Just have to get over that first hurdle.â
And with that, Hangman walked himself back over to the rest of the group. You stood there in stunned silence trying to process exactly what just happened.
-
Like you said before, you were usually far more behaved than this. But nevertheless, you now found yourself pressed up against your car in the corner of the Hard Deckâs parking lot, Bobâs lips on yours and his hands on your waist.Â
Anyone could see. Hangman or Rooster could step out for a breath of fresh air, maybe even a drunk cigarette (no one was allowed to tell Mav), and see you pulling Bobâs shirt out of his standard-issue khakis and running your hands over his stomach. You had always known he was hiding some serious muscle under his uniform. Someone could see you, weak in the knees for the quiet, but beautiful, Bob.Â
âJesus Christ,â he said quietly against your lips as you scratched at his back and trembled in his arms. âWe shouldnâtâshouldnât be doing this out in the open. You deserve better.â
Was it wrong that him being so respectful made you want him to ruin you all that more? What you wouldnât give to be in your, or his, apartment right now, protected by four walls and free to strip and see all of him. But for now, youâd have to take the cards you were dealt.Â
Grasping behind yourself, you yanked the back door handle against yourself, feeling the door give against you and open slightly. You pushed Bob off you gently, just enough to pull the door open and grab his collar to pull him into the car with you. He made a choked off sound, and you honestly werenât sure if it was because of you grabbing his shirt or if he was surprised.Â
âWait,â He managed, and you froze, âI... Will you sit in my lap?â
You were going to die, here and now, with him almost hovering over you, his eyes wide and pleading. For a moment, time seemed to turn into something syrupy as he slid fully into the car, shut the door, and pulled you into his lap.Â
You both sat there for just a moment, panting and staring at each other. Maybe you owed Hangman an apology for doubting his wingman skills, but you werenât sure you wanted to inflate his ego more than it already was.Â
However, he did deserve some credit. After he had dropped that bomb on you, Bob had come over and asked if you were alright, claiming heâd give Hangman a talking-to about whatever he said that had clearly upset you. You just stood there staring at him, until he started to squirm slightly under your gaze.Â
It was in that moment you had blurted out, âI have a crush on you.â
He had stared at you for a split second before he whispered, so quietly you werenât even sure you were supposed to hear it, âOh my god, I want to kiss you so badly.âÂ
It had taken everything in you not to drag him across the bar and press your lips into his. Instead, you managed to tell him that you had your thirty minute break in five minutes, and to meet you in the parking lot by your car. It was probably the most reckless thing you had ever done.
So that was how you ended up in the backseat of your car, Bobâs tongue running along the seam of your lips, whining slightly when you opened your mouth to feel his tongue glide over your teeth. You could tell he had his feet firmly planted on the floor by the steady rhythm of his hips against yours. That part of his actions seemed so confident, so assured in comparison to the slight tremor in his hands against your hips, but you wanted him to let loose a little, show you just how much he wanted you.Â
The car rocked gently with your movements. He was panting as his forehead leaned against yours, and he let out a particularly high pitched whine as you grabbed him by the back of the neck to force your lips together again.
âBeen thinking about this, about you,â he ground out as you both pulled away again to catch your breaths, âSee you every Friday and Hangman, ah, Hangman makes fun of me.âÂ
You groaned at his confession and twisted your hands into his neatly combed hair. Honestly, you couldnât judge his hesitancy, for godâs sake you thought he barely liked you as a friend. Plus, youâd firmly asked more than one patron to leave when they tried to be too forward. Bob was never too forward.Â
âBeen, fuck! Been, trying to be a gentleman.â
You didnât want him to be a gentleman, you wanted him to ruin you. Grabbing his wrists, you shoved them under your shirt and sighed as he got the message, rubbing your nipples over your bra.Â
âF-Fuck,â you gasped, rolling your hips against his more firmly.Â
âYouâre so beautiful,â He whispered as his lips marked a path down your neck, mouthing at your collarbone as he tugged the collar of your shirt to the side.
âBob...â You could feel the heat in your stomach building, the familiar tingle in your fingers.
âI know, sweetheart, I know,â With one hand on your stomach rubbing soothing circles, and the other dipping into your bra, the flood of physical sensations was almost too much.Â
You moaned into his mouth and shuddered against his grip, raking your hands through his hair and feeling just how much he liked the sensation of your nails scraping against his scalp when the rhythm of his hips stuttered. Â
When you came it felt like a star bursting in your chest, everything went fuzzy around the edges as he rocked you in his lap and you rode out your orgasm. It felt like Christmas morning, your birthday, and every party all rolled into one. You shuddered as he kept your hips moving against his, clearly close.Â
But you would have none of that.
Still trembling from your own release you unbuttoned his khakis with shaking hands and reached in to grasp him. He stared down at your through lightly fogged up glasses, clearly shocked.Â
âFuck, wait, are you sureâ!â Was all he managed to get out before you were on your knees, doing your damndest to swallow him down.
He came with a choked shout, one hand on the back of your head and the other clawing at the worn leather of your seats, grasping for something, anything to keep him tethered. For a moment you stayed on your knees, reveling in the feeling of what had just happened.Â
He was a fucking vision from this angle. His usually perfectly done haired was wild from you running your hands through it, his khakis were haphazardly open and his softening cock was laying against his stomach where you had rucked his shirt up. Breathing wild, his chest rose and fell quickly, and his fingers resting on the seat twitched in a matching rhythm to the ones in your hair.
Perhaps most tantalizing of all were his glassesâtheir lenses were fogged up, but you could still almost see his wide eyes behind them.Â
You wished you had a camera to capture the moment.Â
The moment was broken when Bob reached down to pull you back into his lap and move his lips softly against yours. It took you a moment to register that he was whispering sweet nothings to youâa combination of thank you, and all sorts of compliments that made your chest ache.Â
A sudden alarm sound made both of you turn in opposite directions at the same time, smacking your foreheads together. Suddenly any sexual tension had completely dissipated, replaced by both of you melting into laughter. Leave it to you and Bob to top off humping in your car like teenagers by giving each other concussions.Â
âI need to get back to work.â You whispered as he inspected your forehead for any lasting injuries, âThat was my alarm.â
He pressed his lips to yours softly, as if he was savoring your final moments together. âCan I take you out to dinner tomorrow? Do this part right?â
âIâd love that.â
-
You almost made it to closing without anyone noticing that you and Bob had both conveniently been gone for most of your meal break. But the crew crowding the pool table was far too observant for their own good. To his credit, Bob got himself almost fully back to his normal appearance, and you slipped into the bathroom to make sure you were presentable again.Â
âYou should say thank you to people who do nice things for you,â Hangman was back, toothpick hanging loosely from his mouth as he turned a sly grin in your direction, âIâll take a beer in compensation, though.â
Pretending not to know what he could possibly mean, you continued to clean up. âMaking sure all your cups are on the bar by closing is not exactly free beer material.â
He scoffed and stole another garnish, âYou might think youâre slick but Bobâs been staring at you uninterrupted since you got back from your little break.â
âAccording to you he stares at me regardless.â Sorry, Bob.
âYeah, but now he stares at you all mopey, which means you mustâve gotten the other stuff out of your systemââ
You threw a piece of ice, the universe granting you with perfect aim for once, and watched as it hit his collarbone and slid down his shirt. He jerked backwards with a hiss.Â
âOkay! Just take your beer and shut up.â Why did he have to be like this?
âWhy thank you sweetheart, consider your debt settled.â With a wink, he was gone.
If you were honest with yourself, you probably would give Hangman a thousand free beers just to see Bob in the backseat, glasses foggy, and staring at you like you hung the moon. But he didnât have to know that.

Folie Ă Deux - Complete
For @psychocatnerd
Rating: Explicit
Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 AO3
For the second time in recent memory, Eddie awoke in Steveâs bed with a body pressed up against him.
A body that was missing boobies, this time.
But while having a body wrapped up in his arms was good, great even, there was something about it that was less good and great.
And that was the hair in his mouth.
Curly hair sticking on his tongue and scratching at his nose. Long curly hair that Steve definitely didnât have.
Opening his eyes, Eddie was met with the sight of a bird's nest of dark brown curly hair staring him in the face.
He took a moment to stare.
No fucking way.
With absolutely no grace and no forethought, he shot upwards, sitting bolt upright while his own body groaned and pouted below him.
Eddie had a short moment of complete delirium where he was all but convinced he was dead. Or astral projecting or something. He was staring down at his own body below him, his heart pounding away in his chest before his brain knocked the sleep fully out and he came back down to earth.
Metaphorically speaking.
Because he was very much alive and very much not astral projecting. Instead he was going through the slightly, only slightly more normal (at least to him) situation of being kicked out of his own body again and landing into the body of his⊠boyfriend?
Was Steve his boyfriend now?
Or did they have to go through the whole song and dance of, like, dates and coy hand-holding and shit before they made it official?
Like movies and picnics and shit?
Okay, maybe that wouldnât be so bad.
âStevie.â Eddie muttered, shaking Steveâs shoulder and nearly catching a flying hand to the face when Steve tried to bat him away.
âSteeeeevieee.â Eddie drew out, shaking him a little more insistently, just to be a shithead about it.Â
âWhat?â Steve huffed, not opening his own eyes and almost melting back into the bed the second heâd gotten the word out.
âYou wanna be my boyfriend?â Eddie asked and then tacked onto the end, âOh, by the way, weâve switched again.â
Steve frowned, slowly blinking and turned his head ever so slightly to look at Eddie.Â
Eddie shot him what he hoped was Steveâs goofy little crooked grin and his dorky finger wave.
The downturned corners of Steveâs mouth and his flat unimpressed stare would have sent a weaker man scampering.
âPerfect. Just fucking perfect.â Steve grumbled as he heaved himself upwards, his hair, or rather Eddieâs hair, sticking up in all different directions, looking like he wanted to have a word with the universe's manager.
Eddie cooed at him, pinching his cheek and only grinned wider when Steve slapped his hand away lightly but still wrapping his fingers around Eddieâs hand and holding on tight.Â
Eddieâs heart was rioting again but it wasnât because of panic this time.Â
âIs this what itâs going to be like forever now?â Steve sighed. âSwitching bodies whenever we sleep?â
Eddie shrugged, brushing some of Steveâs hair behind his ear. âI donât know, sweetheart.â Eddie gave him honesty, what else could he do? âBut weâll figure it out.â
Steve nodded, squeezing his fingers but stayed silent..
After a moment of quiet, Eddie spoke up because he had no impulse control and quiet was his enemy.
âSo.â Eddie said, with an air of nonchalance.
Steve looked up from their tangled fingers. âSo?â
âDo you want to?â
Steveâs eyebrows creased again but with more incredulity than irritation this time.
âDo I want to what?â He trailed his eyes down the body sitting in front of him, the body Eddie was currently residing in. âDid I not wear you out enough last night? And wouldnât it be weird?â
Eddie grinned at him, a little surprised but also⊠kinda curious now.
âWhat I meant was âdo you want to be my boyfriend?â But alsoâŠâ he tilted his head from side to side. âIâm not exactly opposed to the idea of fucking around like this.âÂ
âWell- I⊠Yes, obviously weâre boyfriends now. But, baby.â Steve muttered, apparently trying to seem bewildered, like it was what he was supposed to be feeling but there was a question in his eyes.
A question for himself or for Eddie, he didnât know.
âWhat?â Eddie asked, all innocence and naivety. âIf you think about it and we are stuck switching back and forth every second dayâŠâ he turned his eyebrows up, giving what he hoped was a devastatingly adorable puppy dog look, âdo you only want to kiss me every second day?â
Steve scoffed. âIsnât it like⊠wrong?â
âI donât know if itâs ever happened before to be considered wrong.â Eddie scooted himself a little closer to Steve. âBut weâre both consenting adults, yâknow, if you wanna. No pressure. And itâs not like weâre hurting anyone else doing it.â
âI-â Steve hesitated, chewing on his bottom lip, apprehensive like he was expecting Eddie to jump down his throat. âI am⊠curious, I guess.âÂ
Eddie grinned at him, soft and sweet and Jesus Christ if he hadnât already received confirmation that they were like, official now, heâd probably be on his knees just begging this boy to take a chance on him.Â
âCâmere.âÂ
He gave Steveâs hand a light tug, pulling him just that little bit closer until he could pull Steveâs legs over his.
He stared into his own big brown eyes, took in his own lips and his own hair, his own neck and pale skin and tattoos while Steve did the same, looking over his own face while Eddie was on the inside, taking it all in.
âYou lead.â Eddie said to him quietly, running his hands up and down Steveâs arms. âWhatever youâre comfortable with, we wonât go farther than that.â
Steve gave him a small smile, warm and fond and loving, raising a hand to cup his cheek.
âI know.â
He curled his fingers around Eddieâs neck, pulling him close.
The earth didnât explode when their lips met, neither did their bodies. The Upside-Down didnât come crawling into Steveâs bedroom and they didnât feel anything catastrophically shift inside of them.
It was just a kiss.
If any kind of kiss with Steve Harrington could be called just a kiss.
And the thing was⊠neither Steve nor Eddie were particularly coy about the fact that they liked the way they looked. Eddie had admitted to himself long ago that he was cute, hot even, in a feral raccoon type of way and Steve had a habit of pausing in front of most reflective surfaces to primp a little and so likeâŠ
Was it weird to be into kissing himself?
Eddie didnât know but if it was, who cared?
Like he said to Steve, he wasnât hurting anyone else and anyway, weird was like, his thing, right?
Steve seemed to feel the same, if the tongue slipping into his mouth and the slow push to settle Eddie down onto his back was anything to go by.
Eddie ran his hands up over Steveâs bony sides, feeling the bump of his ribs under his fingers, trailing his fingers down his back, down the knobbly spine there and eventually gripped onto the sharp hip bones below, wondering just how far Steve was willing to go because Eddie was willing to go quite far.
Heâd never had a pierced dick in his mouth, after all.
Eddie tangled his hands in Steveâs hair, his hair really, tightening his fingers and pulling the way he himself loved, but he was curious now, about whether that particular love would translate over with the swapping.
The sound Steve let out was somewhere between a gasp and a moan, just as delicious in Eddieâs voice as it was in Steveâs.
Because again, even through all of this, even through making out with his own body and really kind-of hoping heâd get to suck his own dick, it was only really Eddie shaped. He could still see Steve inside.Â
Could still see him in his movements and smiles and little breathy exhales as Eddie ground his hips up, a little experimentally, pausing to see if Steve stopped him.
But Steve was just as eager, pushing his own hips back down to rub the two of them together, hard and wanting.
He separated from Eddie with a little pant, looking down at him, Eddieâs own flushed pink cheeks and wet mouth hovering above.
Steve trailed his eyes around, no doubt still able to see Eddie inside the golden tan skin and hazel eyes.
âThis is weird, right?â Steve asked again, but the more he said it, the less bothered he seemed to be by it.
âI want to suck my dick.âÂ
Impulse control? Who is she? Never met her.Â
Steveâs eyes went wide and his once pink cheeks lit up red. Then, with a shaky little laugh, he pressed his forehead down into Eddieâs collarbone.
âYouâre going to fucking kill me.â
âWell I sure hope not.â Eddie quipped, stroking the back of Steveâs head as much as he could through the tangled wiry curls. Damn, they were gonna need to swap hair care routines if this kept up. âBut what a way to go, right? Here lies Steve Harrington, killed by Eddieâs incredible dick sucking skills.â
âIt would be your body in the ground. Here lies Eddie Munson, killed by sucking his own dick.â
âThat doesnât sound as cool.â Eddie pouted, trying to wiggle his way down lower which wasnât as difficult as he thought it would be. He was in Steveâs body, full of jock strength and Eddieâs body on top of him was like a twig, regardless of his apparent hidden muscle and the strength Steve had explored the day before yesterday.
âCan I?â He asked, using that lovely jock strength to roll them over so he was on top, continuing to squirm his way down Steveâs body, biting down hard on his hip bone.
Steve yelped and his hips jerked.
âYeah, fuck, yes, go ahead.â He panted. âIf I ever say ânoâ to you sucking my dick, thatâs how youâll know Iâm a pod-person.â
Eddie grinned up at him, sharp and hungry.
âDuly noted, Mr. Harrington, sir.â He said with a silly little mock salute but the way Steveâs eyes darkened and intensified at his words, oh boy.
Theyâd definitely have to explore that later.Â
Eddie couldnât deny he liked having strength on his side. He had just gotten his hands inside the waistband of the boxers Steve woke up wearing before he had the thought that⊠fuck it, they were his own boxers.
Right?
So without preamble, he removed his hands from the waistband and stuck his fingers into the little penis flap, whatever it was called, gripped it tight and ripped.Â
The boxers split ragged and loud down the middle, leaving Steve with just the waistband around his hips and his legs still enclosed but that was okay. Eddie had gotten to his goal.
âWhat the fuck, Eds?â Steve breathed, shock and outrage swallowed up by the air being punched out of him, his mouth hanging open and his chest heaving.Â
Eddie smirked up at him, âIâm eager.â He said, before diving right in.Â
He caught his piercing in between his teeth and gave it a light tug before opening his jaw wide and sinking down as much as he could, which wasnât as much as he usually could.
Shit, he was big.Â
Not to brag but like⊠he was big.
But Eddie was a pro, he was determined and while Steveâs hands flew to his hair and his back bowed and Eddie gagged, he refused to give in, working himself back and forth until he could take more and more.
Once heâd gotten more comfortable he pressed Steveâs hand down harder on the back of his head, looking up at him through his lashes.
Steve in turn was looking down at him like heâd just seen a supernova or some shit. Like Eddie was wondrous and magical and well fuck if that didnât give Eddie one hell of an ego boost.
Because who doesnât want to be looked like that while trying to suck the soul out of the dick in their mouth?
It made pop rocks fizzle up in his gut and he redoubled his efforts, encouraging Steve to use his mouth as he saw fit, which he did.
Eddie couldnât deny it was a little strange to glance up and see his own face staring back down at him, flushed and twisted in pleasure but it wasnât a bad strange.Â
Steve slammed his hips up, cock hitting the back of Eddieâs throat and despite Steveâs initial hesitation about how weird it might be, he was certainly going at it with full enthusiasm now.
Eddie allowed his eyes to slip closed, keeping himself loose and pliable and let Steve use him until his whole body went stiff and he crushed Eddieâs nose against his pelvis, spilling down his throat.Â
He swallowed down as much as he could, letting Steveâs softening cock slip from his mouth and resting his head on Steveâs thigh with a contented sigh, despite his own raging hard on.
There was a light tug against his scalp and when he looked up, seeing Steve behind his own eyes with a soft smile on his face, he blushed.Â
Blushed.
Like some teenage school boy.
âCome up here.â
Eddie complied, soft and syrupy, collapsing down next to Steve and scrunching up his nose as Steve laved kisses all over his face.Â
âMy turn.â Steve whispered to him.
Eddie lolled his head around as Steve started to kiss his way down his body.Â
âYou donât have to.â
âI know.â He said, latching onto one of Eddieâs nipples and sucking, sending a zing of arousal through his body and coaxing a moan from his throat. âI want to.â
âShit.â Eddie breathed as Steve pulled off. âGo right ahead then, sweetheart.â
Steve stuck his tongue out, his face scrunched up. âThe chest hair might be a problem.â He scraped his arm over his tongue, trying to remove a phantom hair. âMight have to shave it off.â
Eddie shot up, scandalised and nearly headbutted Steve.
âDonât you dare!â
Steve rolled his eyes with a little smile, planting a hand on Eddieâs chest and pushing him back down. âAlright, alright, keep your hair on.â
As soon as Eddieâs back hit the mattress, Steve had his boxers whipped off and dove down with just as much gusto as Eddie had.
The warm, wet heat enveloping him was nearly enough to send him over the edge already, as keyed up as he was just from how unusual and forbidden everything was.
He knew that any hope of him lasting any longer than a few sucks was gone when he looked down and saw his own plump lips wrapped around Steveâs cock, his own big brown eyes looking up at him and when Steve pulled his lips back to scrape his teeth ever so lightly along him, adding just a tiny bit of pain with the pleasure, Eddie was lost.
He came hot and heavy down Steveâs throat, melting back down into the bedsheets panting and so, so content.
Steve crawled his way back up to Eddie, cuddling into his side and they both just lay there for a moment, blissed out and coming down.
âThat was-â Steve started but was cut off by the shrill ringing of the phone on his bedside table.
Eddie groaned and curled into Steveâs side.
âMake it shut up.â
Steve just snickered. âYou gotta answer it, baby.â
âMe? Why me?â
Steve nuzzled his nose against Eddieâs throat.
âYou have my voice.â
Eddie huffed. âThis is not the princess treatment I was promised by all those rumours about your charm in school.â
âYou want me to treat you good, princess?â Steve hummed into his skin, pushing closer. âThen you have to be good.â
Woah, okay.Â
Eddie was not going to examine what was happening in his brain right now. He was going to straight up ignore it. Yep. Put it out of his mind completely and not think of it anymore.Â
Until later.
But for now, he tried to shove down the blush to his cheeks, ignoring Steveâs delighted little smile and reached over to pluck the ringing phone from its cradle.
âHello?â
There was a pause on the other end of the line.
âSteve? Is that you?â
That was Willâs voice.
Eddie wondered for a moment why Will would be even questioning who else could be answering Steveâs phone in Steveâs house.
âUh, yeah. Yeah, itâs me kiddo.âÂ
Oh, wait. Oh, shit!
âI mean, uh, youâre through to the Harringtons. Steve speaking.â Eddie recited, remembering far too late how Steve usually answered the phone.
Steve hid his face in the pillow, trying to muffle his laughter.
âUm⊠Are you feeling alright⊠Steve?â Will didnât seem to be buying the truly pathetic and half assed imitation of Steve that Eddie was trying desperately to pull off, but maybe he could try to act like he was hungover or something.
âYeah, yeah. Iâm good, man. Iâm good. What can I do for you baby Byers?â
Will didnât answer right away and Eddie could practically see him weighing his choices about whether to keep pressing or get to what he was calling about.
Eventually there was a sigh at the other end of the line.
âHave you heard from El?â
âEl?â Eddie looked around to catch Steveâs eye. âHave I heard from El?â He repeated.
Concern flashed through Steveâs eyes and his eyebrows creased together as he shook his head.
âNo. I havenât. Is everything okay? Whatâs going on?â
âSheâs⊠I donât know. I woke up this morning and she wasnât here. I think she left at some point last night, I donât know where she is. Sheâs been feeling weird for a couple of days-â
âElâs missing?â Eddie said, alarmed, turning his wide eyes on Steve who practically shot out of bed and began to throw on any clothes within reach.
âYeah, I mean-â Will hesitated â- I donât know. I know she can take care of herself but it's like⊠Iâm confused because it doesnât- somethingâs telling me sheâs not in danger. She doesnât feel like sheâs in danger.â
Eddie chewed on his lip. âOkay. Look, weâll figure it out, weâll get her back. We just have to-â
He clamped his mouth shut when he heard the front door downstairs slam open.
His eyes met Steveâs and in less than a second Steve was out the door with a baseball bat in his hand that Eddie hadnât even seen him pick up.
âWhat was that?â Will asked, a little panicked through the phone.
âI- shit I donât know. Stay there, Iâm gonna check and move to the phone downstairs.â
Before Will had the chance to respond, Eddie placed the phone down next to the cradle and threw on any clothes within reach, practically tripping himself as he ran down the hallway.
The front door was now closed and standing in front of it was Steve, bent at the waist a little to match the height of none other than El, who was standing almost nose to nose with him, staring deep and terrifyingly intense into his eyes.
Neither of them flinched as Eddie made his way down the stairs and he approached as quietly as he could, not wanting to disturb whatever the fuck kind of psychic shit was no doubt going right now.
After another moment where Eddie was hovering awkwardly in the background, Steve straightened up and El stepped back with a small smile.
When she turned her eyes on him, he tried to shoot her a smile but it definitely came out a little more nervous than he would have liked.
âDid you feel a disturbance in the force, Supergirl?â He asked.
âI did.â She answered back with a little nod.Â
âOh.â Eddie blinked at her and then, âWill! Shit!â
He turned on his heel and ran into the kitchen, nearly tossing the handset of the phone across the room in his haste to get to it.
âWill.â
âJesus Christ.â Will sighed, half exasperated, half relieved. âDonât shout my ear off, I thought youâd been eaten by something.â
âThankfully not, baby Byers. But your sister just arrived. That was her blowing the door off its hinges.â
âSheâs there?â Will sounded like he was about to cry. âCan I talk to her?â
Eddie shrugged. âDonât see why not.â
He turned to shout for El and Steve but nearly jumped out of his skin when El was standing directly behind him, looking up at him expectantly.
âJesus fuck.â Eddie clutched a hand to his chest and El smiled.Â
He held the phone out to her. âYour brother.â
âThank you.â She took it from him and brought it to her ear. âHello Will.â
Eddie retreated as Willâs volume began to slowly climb through relief and anger and panic and then back to relief again.
He found Steve leaning up against the wall in the sitting room, clearly waiting for them to come back out.
âShe knows.â He muttered when Eddie sidled up next to him, leaning as well. Probably a little too close but he didnât care right now.
âShe knows?â
âAbout the swapping.â Steve clarified, keeping his voice low like there were other people around them. âSheâd been feeling something the other day. It went away, probably when weâd swapped back but it started up again in the middle of the night and she panicked. Drove straight here.â
âCould have left a note so she didnât scare the shit out of her brother.â
âI did leave a note.â
Eddie nearly jumped into Steveâs arms like Scooby Doo.
âSupergirl.â Eddie panted, trying to get his heartbeat back under control. âYouâve got to stop sneaking up on me like that.â
El just smiled at him, sweet and innocent. âItâs fun.â
Eddie rolled his eyes, resting his forehead on Steveâs shoulder while Steve snorted at her, ruffling her hair.
âHave you eaten yet, Ellie?â
El shook her head and her eyes went wide, almost pleading as she asked, quiet and hopeful âGrilled cheese?â
Steve smiled at her, a smile that was so Steve, all warm and crooked and parental even on Eddieâs face it made Eddie's heart flutter.
âSure, Iâll make you grilled cheese.â
It wasnât until all their bellies were full, that El dropped the bomb on them.
âI think I can switch you back.â
Both Steve and Eddie gaped at her from across the kitchen counter, their shoulders brushing as they stood side by side.
âLike⊠permanently?â
El looked in between the two of them for a long and tense moment, her eyes going a little unfocused before she blinked the back.
âIâm not sure. But I could stabilise you. Stop you switching every night.â
Steve and Eddie glanced at each other, Eddie reading the same thoughts in Steveâs eyes as Eddie had in his head.
It would be nice to not have to plan their whole life around waking up in someone elseâs body the next day but at the same timeâŠ
There were a lot of sexy possibilities.
âHow would that work?â Steve asked, leaning forward on his palms a little. âLike if weâre stabilised, whatâŠâ his cheeks pinked up a little bit. âWhat could⊠destabilise us?â
El hummed, either not catching or not caring about the way they were acting.
âIâm not sure. Maybe high stress? If youâre both under a lot of stress at the same time? Heightened emotions? It could just be if you two think about it really hard. Itâs difficult to say. I havenât really come across a situation like this before.â
âOkay.â Eddie nodded, tossing possibilities back and forth in his mind. âAnd say if we were toâŠâ he waved his hand around, ignoring the scandalised look Steve was shooting at him as if Eddie was about to spill their dirty secrets to her. â⊠experiment. You know, try to trigger it to figure out what causes it, would we be stuck that way again and have to get you to re-stabilise us?â
Honestly, if they had to drag El into it every time he and Steve decided to get freaky, theyâd probably never do it. Which was a bit of a bummer, but they didnât want to scar the kid. Even if she wasnât a kid anymore.
âNo. I donât think so. I think once you empty your minds simultaneously, relax your bodies at the same time, youâll go back to your stabilised state.â
âOh. So thatâs why itâs been happening while we sleep?â Steve asked.
El nodded, cocking her head to the side, her gaze burning into them. Her face was placid and calm but it was also terrifying. Eddie felt like she was looking into his very soul, seeing all of him.
He really hoped she couldnât.
They glanced at each other again, coming to a silent and agreed upon consensus.
âOkay.â Eddie said, looking back at El.
Steve shifted just a little closer to him, firm in their conviction. âStabilise us.â
Regardless of how things went from now on, regardless of whether they stayed in their own bodies forever or figured out the magic words to switch whenever they chose to, regardless of all that, when Steve reached out to take Eddieâs hand, holding on tight where El could see, Eddie knew, regardless of everything elseâŠ
He had Steve forever.Â
And that was more than enough.

Smitten: The First Date
Itâs been way too long since Iâve updated this series and I have so many ideas for them coming up. Lmk if you wanna be added to the series taglist!
Notes: F!reader, first official date, anxiety and jitters, fluff. Just really fluffy.
âSatoru youâre already running late, Iâll be okay here.â
âThe kids will understand. Do you want another blanket?â Gojoâs class started three minutes ago and he refused to leave his office until he was sure you were set.
Youâd been taking up the couch in his office during the day for the last few weeks, it soothed some of Gojoâs anxiety about leaving you alone now that his energy was rubbing off on you.
You nodded your head and Gojo draped another throw over your body. Hopefully it wouldnât be too much longer before your leg healed so you could freely walk; maybe then your boyfriend would relax. (Unlikely) âThe kids rely on their teacher to be on time, but thank you. We should bring in a space heater tomorrow, how did you get by without having one in here so far?â
âYouâre always cold, and itâs not that bad usually but I donât spend much time in here; too lonely. You know Iâm not far and text me if you need anything at all. Iâll see you for lunch?â
âGo be a teacher before Yaga decides to hire someone with better attendance please.â
âKiss first!â He exclaimed and kissed your lips before pulling away with a âmwah!â sound, leaving you laughing at his cartoonish display.
You just shook your head at him while reigning yourself in, âIâll be here when youâre done.â
âAre you sure about this, Kugisake? It looks like a lot with the flowers on the table too.â
âGirls love surprises, Sensei. Last time Fushiguro poked his head in she was asleep, this is literally the perfect time.â Nobara was putting the finishing touches on the makeshift dining table, while Yuuji and Megumi plated the food- something they took surprisingly seriously. Really they just wanted to impress you. âYou should go get her before the food gets cold.â
Gojo followed the directions given to him by the 15 year old girl and took the short trip down the hall.
You were still sound asleep, and he heavily debated on postponing but the kids were indiscreetly spying on him. He couldnât back out on it.
âHey, baby, itâs time for lunch.â He knelt down to your level and rubbed your shoulder until you stirred- he hated waking you up. He hated it a little less when you gave him your half asleep smile.
âLunch?â The coffee table was empty, usually he brought lunch with him.
âWeâre actually going on a little mission, you and I. So up you go!â
ââToru! Crutches!â He had you in his arms and out of the room before you could even reach for them.
âNope!â What did he mean no? How long was he going to carry you?
âTa-da!â Apparently not long. Your boyfriend sat you in a chair and did jazz hands at the display in front of you- you put together then that it was a date. Your first date.
It was all arranged carefully and the food made your stomach grumble. ââToru this is wonderful! You didnât have to do all this!â
âThe kids helped, theyâd kill me if I didnât give partial credit.â
âI kinda figured since thereâs three mysteriously floating heads spying on us in the doorway behind you.â
Gojo turned around, shooed them away with only some complaints, before closing the door and returned to your lunch date. âI know our relationship hasnât evolved in the most traditional ways but I still wanted you to know that I care about the normal stuff too. A lot has been going on but I hadnât even taken you out yet.â
âI wasnât expecting anything-â
âI know,â Gojo sighed. âBut I pulled you into a world you never knew existed and now youâre stuck with my baggage too. I think youâre doing great by the way, you havenât even tried escaping.â
âTried escaping- youâre ridiculous sometimes Satoru. Your world isnât baggage, I know it can be cruel at times but itâs not all bad. Itâs just a different experience, but I feel like I found my place with you all; Iâve never had that beforeâŠâ
âYou always have a place where I am, always.â His tone was serious enough to make your heart feel warm. Sometimes Gojo catches you off guard with how much he cares. His silliness is only one piece of the puzzle that is your boyfriend.
âWell I guess itâs good that I wanna be where you are, always.â
You both smiled at each other, and if you chose to ignore the sets of peeping eyes through the classroom window; then that was between you and the first years.

Heart Killers time, woot woot!
I do have to say, watching what's happening with Jack & Joker right now, I hope people are not letting their expectations get ahead of them with this one either... though I know that's probably a futile wish. Expectation is such a thief of joy, y'all.
Anyway, my only expectation in this is I will have a good time, so let's do it!
How this man doesn't just expire from Bison doing this to him, I have no idea.
Oh, this line. Jojo knows us so well.
Ooh, we're having a black vs red debate!
In Bison's defense, he looks really good in red.
Something cracks me up about Kant looking for hookups at the bowling alley. Is that really good hunting ground? Maybe in Thailand? Definitely not in the U.S.
Oh Jojo, you bad, bad man.
I am gonna get full on obsessed with Dunk's tummy, aren't I?
Also just realizing how much of this show I am going to spend thinking how good the pairings of FirstDunk & JoongKhaotung could be...
Lolol, target acquired!
Ha, this is so me when a man tries to tell me what to do.
I like Bison being all "if you wanna fuck me, just say so". We have a very direct man here.
Nooooo, Style don't be a stupid driver.
I was not expecting an early Fadel/Style meetup! See, it's fate.
Way to make a horrible first impression Style! But I am loving how their dynamics are. Fadel is such a tight ass, it's gonna be great when he cracks.
Quite a first time scene for our boys! And people say GMMTV is gonna tamp down the gay, lololol.
Also can we take a moment to admire this shot? The red, the mirrors, there's a lot going on here. Beautiful.
I like that the burger uniforms are a mix of Fadel & Bison colorwise.
I also think it's hilarious that Fadel ordered black plastic gloves to maintain his aesthetic.
Omg, I am dying that Bison shot a gun at karaoke. He's a little disaster.
Hmmmm, mother? Interesting...
Ooh, silver fox alert!
Always appreciate some eye candy for us older fans.
Ah, of course the cop is a manipulative jerk. Hot, but a jerk.
Ain't this just a mood.
Heh, when the man you just had mind-blowing sex with turns out to be an assassin you have to stalk. If I had a nickel...
Oh, I think Style is gonna be my favorite. Dumb and chaotic.
As much as I enjoy a height difference couple, there is something about two men who are the exact same height...
Also love the black & white - because they are opposites!
Wait...does Bison not know how to cook burgers? Did... did he just put the raw patty on the board they use to chop veggies? Am I going to get stressed about food safety in this action romcom?!
I like that Fadel has this subtle air of general menace about him.
Aaaaah, bashful Bison is so cute!!!!! "Take me out...nooooo...really?"
This boy desperately wants to be loved. My heart.
Style is a slutty menace and I love him!
I also love that they are establishing the attraction is there before the deal gets made.
Ah, I was wondering if Kant was a philosophical reference!
Does Jojo have a "First eating burgers" fetish? That's been two extreme closeups in one episode. Just sayin'.
"Crazy and bold" is pretty spot on for Style!
Oh don't try to complain Style, you know you want him.
Ok, the yellow & purple... Are these their real colors, or the ones hiding their real colors as they embark on their mission?
Another costuming note - both Kant & Style had sunglasses as part of their outfits when they started their lying... love that little detail.
Good lord, that many beers and I'd be peeing every two minutes.
Oh! Fadel figuring out they're friends already! What a twist!
This was so much fun!

So....I saw this earlier today. Apparently this is Kylo Ren's quarters and it's just.....so freaking sad! đą
That being said, I had an idea: What if Kylo's apprentice, who works for/with Hux and is paid a hefty wage, buys him a new bed and other comforts?
Comfy

. Your master was away on yet another solo mission, the directive unknown to you. While he was away, you were back to working for Hux as his assistant. Things were running smoothly, and with Kylo gone, Armitage seemed a little more at ease. Either it was that tea he was sipping once again, or the absence of your master, but he was smiling more and was generally more relaxed. That morning, or rather, the start of your rotation, was no different. You were busy filling in data into your data pad when he walked over to you and rested his hand on your shoulder, a gesture which was rare but welcome. "How's the report coming along, Y/n?"
You flashed him a startled smile, his action shocking you out of your thoughts momentarily. "It's going fairly decent, General. Everything is accounted for and the updates from our suppliers just arrived. Is there anything we need, aside from rations and weapons?"
Hux thought for a moment, reading what was on your data pad over your shoulder. After a moment, something seemed to click in his head. "You have everything listed, but Lord Ren has...certain preferances in regards to rations."
"He's a picky eater?" you asked in jest, glancing over your shoulder at the ginger general. Hux snorted "I wish it were that, but no. He's on a strict diet, at least that's what he's mentioned."
"Do you know what he prefers? He hasn't told me much about his...personal habits." you replied, opening a new tab on your pad so you can jot down any notes or suggestions Hux had. But Hux shook his head. "I haven't the faintest of clues as to what that man likes or doesn't."
"Fair enough."
A moment passed as Hux thought of a solution. "He may have some products in his quarters that may clue us in as to what he eats." he retrieved his own data pad and swiped the screen a few times before he pulled up a pass code and sent the set of numbers to you.
"What's this?" you asked as you stared at the lengthy line of numbers.
"That is Kylo Ren's pass code to his quarters. He's an extremely secretive and private man and it was a pain to figure this out."
You tried to hide the smirk on your face. "And why, General, would you want to enter his quarters?"
Hux flicked the tip of your ear, a tiny playful gesture. "We have regulations here aboard this ship, and those regulations require a certain level of tidiness. Kylo has very little time, it seems, to keep his quarters neat. The pass code is for service droids to clear up any...messes he leaves." The General was, of course, referring to the times when Kylo vented his rage on anything within reach, often destroying furniture or consoles. Hux, as always, had to either pay for the damages himself or clean up the debris.
"Ooooooh, oh I get." You said, still flashing him a cheeky smirk, a smirk which he returned moments before he took another sip from the mug he was holding.
"Well, in that case, I'll go take inventory of what he has and get back to you on that." With that, you gave him a tiny salute and headed towards your master's quarters.
...
"Whoa..."
As the doors whooshed open, you were greeted with a cold, stark sight. The room was entirely black, it's lights a cold white. The table was empty, the bed that was against the wall was entirely too small for your master. The room was devoid of comfort and warmth, at least the kind of warmth that a man with such status should have. There was no furniture whatsoever, aside from the one chair that was near the table. You walked in and immediately shivered. It would appear that not even the heat was on in this room. "How can a man live like this?" you mumbled, feeling pity for your master as you walked towards the cupboards.
The cupboards, which were also a smooth, obsidian hue, were situated on the opposite side of the room, near what you assumed was a sink. You opened one of the cupboards and found...absolutely nothing. His shelves were empty save for a few dust bunnies. The sight concerned you. "How the fuck does he eat or sleep? No, no, this isn't good. Screw it," you shut the cupboard quite forcefully. "He's getting fed and sleeping when he gets back, I don't care how mad he gets."
With that, you swiftly left the room with plans and a grand scheme.
...
"You want me to do what???" Hux choked out after he spat out his tea in shock when I informed him of my plan.
"You don't have to pay for anything, I'll use my own credits, but I think he needs this." you said again. You showed Hux the list you made, as well as the already filled out request papers you had signed. He scrolled through the data pad, reviewing everything you had requested, brows furrowed in concern. "You sure about this, Y/n?" his grey green eyes looking back at yours. You nodded, not changing your mind. This had to be done. Hux sighed. "Fine. I'll have these sent. Everything should arrive before he returns."
You smiled and gave him a hug, earning a surprised "oh!" from him. "Thank you, Armitage!" you said, giving him a kiss on the cheek. Hux cleared his throat a little, trying to hide the blush that was making it's way onto his face. "Alright, alright, don't get used to it. I'm not in the business of granting everyone's requests. This is a one time deal, since you are paying for everything."
You chuckled and nodded. "Very well, General."
...
The mission had been brutal and Kylo was battered and bruised all over. But when he exited his ship, he walked with his masked head held high. His confident stride, however, held a bit of a slight limp. A shot from a blaster had grazed his calf, leaving him wounded. He tried to ignore the pain, but the could already feel that the bandage his leg was bound with was starting to leak, blood dampening his trousers. Exhausted, he made his way to his quarters, ordering a passing officer to send a medical droid to his room.
Unlike most who returned from battles, looking forward to whatever comfort they had, Kylo knew he had nothing to feel good about returning to. At least, comfort wise. He almost grimaced when he envisioned his baron room, knowing that rest and recovery was not an option. Or so he thought.
When the doors opened, his eyes widened beneath his mask. "What the-"
Kylo walked into the room, looking around in confusion. 'Did I walk into the wrong room?' he asked himself. He turned around for any telltale signs of his presence, and sure enough, there, to the left of the door, was a burnt gash where he had slashed his saber across the metal.
He turned back to the interior of the room, and stared at his new surroundings. The table was no longer empty, but had some bottles of sweet beverages and crisp water on top of it's smooth surface, and there was also a bowl filled with fruits. But that was not all. The tiny bed that Kylo once had, was now replaced with a lavish looking one. The frame appeared to be made from metal materials found and mined from Cantobight or somewhere from that planet's region. The bed posts were tall and had what appeared to be hooks on them, for holding/hanging articles of clothing. Kylo approached the bed and placed his hand on top of the black comforter that covered the bed. All his life, he never had anything quite as nice or comfortable. In fact, he felt he never deserved anything quite like this.
He took his mask off and placed it on the nightstand beside the bed. When he did, he saw a little piece of paper poking out from under one of the pillows. He reached over and pulled it out, recognizing your handwriting right away. As he read your little note, he felt a small smile spread across his weary face. When he was done reading it, he tucked it into his pocket.
That sleep rotation, after the droid had left and gave him the usual programmed "You need to rest" speech, he pulled back the covers, curled up, and for the first time in years, he slept, resting both his body and soul.
