Pac: Yeah, he thanked me, then I saw– what is the French community– What's the name for people who follow Etoiles? Do they have a name? Are they "bros" too? They messaged me saying, "Thank you Pac, for helping Etoiles" and everything, I was super... super happy. "The bros"? [Laughs] Yeah, they are very sweet, very cool, very cool.

Pac: [Reading chat] I got Quackity's coin?! In the first round? Seriously? Did I do that? [Laughs] Oh my gosh, I didn't see it man! Damn... And I took one from Spreen too? Guys, I don't remember, guys– Can I be honest? I was so focused on getting the coin I didn't even see the usernames, man. I just went for... the coin, man. Wowww, I didn't know that!

Pac: The worst part is that everyone was wearing diving clothes. It was difficult to discern who it was, you know? But that's part of it, it's good that we didn't take someone's coin and made them lose, right? That would've been tough, huh? At least like this, Quackity and Spreen, if I'm not mistaken, they remain in the competition.

I am currently working on 2 Buddie fics in the 9-1-1 fandom, but haven't posted anything to ao3 yet.

I also have 3 old Klaroline fics still up on fanfiction.net that I sometimes think I should move to ao3 but haven't yet.

An Omega's Worth - Cherik, regency ABO fic. WIP that I am determine to finish someday!

The Consequence of Hiding - Cherik, AU but they still have powers. Completed and over 100k!

At First Glance - Cherik. Complete. AU. Written for Secret Mutant Madness. Fluffy and sweet.

Airwaves - Cherik, Complete. AU no powers, set at a university radio station. Completed for a Big Bang with lovely fanart by @ireneadonovan

5. Do you respond to comments?

I try to respond to all comments.

I haven't been great at it lately because I'm not actively writing, but if I'm actively writing I always reply and I am happy to chat about my writing on tumblr too!

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Hollow.

It's a short Cherik fic, though mostly a character delve into Charles during Xmdofp. Someone asked me to write Dark!Charles and this was the result. It's very angsty and different from anything else I've written.

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

It's Just A Summer Thing.

It has the big happy ending. And though the fic does have some angst in it, I wrote it to be fun and sweet - it's set at a summer soccer camp (except the last chapter) and its supposed to be cute.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

Not really.

I've had a couple critical comments, but not 'hate'.

9. Do you write smut?

I have, yes.

I don't always, but I think I write smut well when I do decide it fits within the story I want to tell.

10. Do you write crossovers?

Sort of? Once?

A Man Apart is probably the closest thing I have written that's a crossover. It's still Cherik, but Erik is an android, inspired by Michael Fassbender's roles in the Alien franchise.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Not that I am aware of

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

I know somebody asked me once about translating one of my fics years ago, but I don't know if that happened - they didn't follow up with me once I gave my permission, so I assume the translation was not compelte.

13. Have you ever cowritten a fic before?

Yes!

Yet another fic that isn't complete (we were so close and its my fault it stalled). The lovely @msfbgraves and I co-wrote 'Someday I'll Find You', another Cherik AU.

14. What is your all time favorite ship?

Cherik.

I've written the most for them and for the longest. I still go back to my old fics and my WIPs all the time. I am still actively thinking about An Omega's Worth and how I can finish it. I reblog Cherik content daily on tumblr. I can't really image not being in the Cherik fandom in some capacity.

Buddie is my current obsession and I hope they are as long lasting as Cherik, but Cherik is still my ultimate love.

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

I'd love to finish Someday I'll Find You, because we were so close, but I don't know if it will happen. Even if I continue I don't know if @msfbgraves would want to keep writing it after all these years!

16. What are your writing strengths?

I think character voice and dialogue are my strengths. My writing tends to be very character focused and I hope I write characters that feel believable and close enough to canon not to feel OOC.

I can also be funny at times.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Plotting. I don't like to sit down and plot things out.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language during a fic?

I prefer not to. There are so many nuances in language and phrasing, its hard enough to get it right in my own language, let alone one I don't know. I have include short sentences in other languages (German for example), but I ask other people to make sure the translation makes sense if I can.

Klaroline from the Vampire Diaries

20. Favorite fic you’ve written?

Aside from the fics I've already mentioned, I will give a shout out to one of my lesser kudoed fics: To Build A Home.

It's a Joe x Nicky early days fic from the The Old Guard fandom. It has truly incredible art from @notablogtobefollowedunless. And I think its one of my best fics in terms of action. As well as showing how the bond of trust was built between the two main characters.

You came up on my recommended feed at the perfect time bc I have Artem brainrot rn AND YOUR ANALYZATION OF ARTEM’S CARDS ARE FANTASTIC! I’m one of the few players that avoids most CN server spoilers, and I’ve been abstaining from pulling most cards so I can pull for 3rd anni(which now I’m kinda questioning if I should LOL), so I missed out on a TON of content for all of the male leads. BUT, from the very few cards I had pulled this past yr, I did notice an odd shift in Artem’s personality. Although, I wasn’t too sure if it was just me being dumb or if it was a real thing that was happening. And after reading some of your posts I kinda want to re-read Artem���s Second Anni Card again bc I was so excited for the artwork from that event, that I didn’t pay much attention to the story LOL However, now that I’ve seen what you’ve said and what many other Artem fans have said, I’m sure my feelings weren’t wrong. And now I’m sad 😢

Artem was my favorite bc his relationship with Rosa felt the healthiest and was built on respecting each other’s boundaries, learning how to set boundaries, and working as a team, while also having a more traditional framework of a male leadership role(which I’m extremely fond of). Artem never restricted Rosa from spreading her wings as his work partner or as his life partner, he simply asked if he could come along beside her where ever she wanted to go. AND LIKE HIS ORIGINAL PERSONAL STORY IS A PERFECT EXAMPLE OF THIS BEHAVIOR! Rosa makes a reckless decision to go get evidence, without Artem, for a the domestic violence case they were working on and almost gets hurt in the process. After that, Artem scolds Rosa for being reckless and for not taking better care of herself. And Rosa doesn’t take it lying down either! They equally argue and get their grievances out in the open, feel bad about later, and apologize. (THE COMMUNICATION IS SO REAL 😩) FURTHERMORE! This incident leads them to learning and understanding how differently they work as lawyers. Artem learns that Rosa is a lot more personal with her clients and handles her cases with an empathetic approach, while he works more pragmatically, so through this case they learn to work to each other’s strengths as partners, covering for what the other person lacks. And the chapters this incident took place in solidified my growing love for Artem bc unlike Luke or Vyn(I’m not sure about Marius bc admittedly I haven’t read his original personal story 😅), Artem doesn’t hinder Rosa by being overprotective like Luke or push her beyond her capacities like Vyn tried to do in his original personal story. Artem allows a natural course of growth to occur in Rosa, while being a hedge of protection for Rosa BUT ONLY when she seems to REALLY need it, and the same can be said for Rosa towards Artem.

and omg, do NOT ever feel bad for ranting in my inbox!!!! i've been ranting about tot in the main tag for two years at this point and i will Always be thrilled to read delightfully written meta such as yours!!!!!

i have to say, i entirely agree with all of this. and i mean ALL OF IT. his personal stories 2, 3, and 4 are my absolute favorites of his and gosh that's like. prime artem to me, i think. your ask reminded me of some meta i read such a long while ago about his second personal story (link can be found here, it's SUCH a good read)

i think a huge issue is that artem originally always felt like the antithesis to your typical daddy dom boss character. when you start playing tot, appearances wise, he looks and even comes across as one. but these initial appearances are quickly shattered.

he is absolutely inexperienced with interpersonal relationships. he fumbles the bag CONSTANTLY with rosa. he's terrible at holding conversation, he's constantly apologizing for being boring. he needs his own fucking boss to wingman (haha. wing) for him. he blushes if mc looks at him the wrong way. he's kinda strange. but he's earnest and genuine. he respects rosa's boundaries. he makes mistakes, but learns from them. he gives rosa time to think over her feelings for him so she can still say no to him if she changes her mind.

it's the contrast between this and his initial appearance that makes him interesting. what is extremely bizarre with artem's recent writing is it feels like someone who only read artem's introduction scene got some vague pointers and was like oh. your typical daddy dom boss guy. okay yeah i can write this. and then they did. which . defeats the whole entire point of what made artem compelling in the first place. he was compelling BECAUSE he subverted this trope. by just making him play the trope straight, you remove any and all intrigue from his character.

by not building off of older cards, you abandon all of the plot lines he had set up. they undid any angst in his stories. they dropped his issues with his parents. they downplayed neils impact on his life. he doesn't even grieve for him anymore. he doesnt even think about him most of the time. what happened to entwined fate? praying for neil's safety? what about neil being his father figure? neil potentially betraying the nxx? are we just going to ignore that now so we can watch artem be an insane freak who just apparently woke up with the skills of a sex god, forgot all of the lessons he learned, and doesnt care about consent anymore?

god, now IM ranting.... regardless. youre so right. i hear artem's newest cards are good so im praying those rumors are true : ((

EDIT: SORRY I MEANT TO TALK ABOUT HIS THIRD ANNIVERSARY CARD!!! it's not as bad as his second anniversary card. i know the bar is in hell but it's something. it's pretty contrived in the grand scheme of things (like why are they moving into a house...?) and has some weird moments, but is ultimately not as bad as it could have been in the slightest. i'd say its biggest crime is being boring as sin. holy fuck. i put that shit on 2x speed and i still found myself wanting to fast forward. like nothing happens at all???? it's so bizarre HAHA

Hey again everyone, as of time when I post this it'll officially be my birthday in 1 weeks time, so what better to celebrate than by giving you all a birthday fic with 2099 himself, let's dive right into it. word count:1.1K

Since joining the society, you have accomplished many things, some of which you thought you weren't even capable of, All thanks to help from Miguel. He was the one person you could always count on.

The day before your birthday as he was looking through the universes to find potential anomalies, Lylla spoke up.

"You do know it's y/n's birthday tomorrow miggy"

"Lylla I told you not to call me that"

"Sorry chief, but I am right about the birthday part"

"Are you sure ??"

Lylla then pulls up your file and read through.

"Yep Y/B/D is just as correct"

Miguel was slowly now starting to freak out, he wanted to do something special for you, but since it was tomorrow how could he find the time.

"Qué debo hacer, Qué debo hacer" (What do I do, What do I do)

"Maybe take them to a movie ??"

No no, he couldn't do that, he wanted to show how much you meant to him. how much he loved you. After laying in bed staring at the ceiling, he had an idea.

"Lylla !!"

*yawns* Lylla's hologram popped up, she looked like she was sleeping too. "This better be good"

"I have an idea"

The next day.

Today was your birthday, another lap around the sun. well, now another lap around the multiverse. You didn't feel much older other than knowing it was your birthday, It was exciting as you got to spend it with your bestest friends in the multiverse. As soon as you woke up, Ben barged into your room with a party horn.

*party horn noises* "Happy birthday pal !!!"

"Hey ben thank you" you smiled at him

He then wraps an arm around your neck and gets you in a gentle and playful chock hold

"Surprise !!" Gwen was there, Hobie was there, pavitar was there, Peter B and mayday too.

"You guys..." You looked around finding the decorations and the cake.

"Happy birthday y/n" Gwen ran up to you and hugged you tightly.

"Oh my gosh, this is amazing !!!, Y/n is also amazing !!" pavitar spoke up.

"This day is yours mate, You do you and don't let anyone tell ya how. Hobie spoke up and ruffled your hair.

You then heard babbling as a certain spider baby crawled up behind your back and placed a gentle kiss on your cheek.

"Y/n !!!"

"Mayday also says happy birthday kiddo"

You smiled as you then held mayday and kissed her forehead.

"Thank you guys so much"

"Alright, who's ready for cake !!!" Pavitar was super excited as he spent all day baking it, infusing an array of sweets and spices into it.

As you gathered and chatted and laughed, you noticed one person missing, Miguel.

You knew he wasn't the gathering type but you were sure he would make today an exception.

"I wonder where Miguel is."

"Oh bro ain't the birthday type" Hobie immediately

"Come to think of it, He hasn't really celebrated any birthdays" Gwen spoke up.

"No No, he did celebrate this little one's birthday when she turned 1" Peter B gently bounced Mayday as she giggled "Isn't that right my sweet cheeks ??" He gently kisses her head.

"I'll go and find him."

You then ventured to Miguel's base.

"I wish you luck y/n !!!" pavitar shouted

Entering the base and ignoring the creepy nearly completed suit-looking thing, you looked up to see Miguel not on his platform.

"Miguel ??!! You here ??"

Miguel was hiding, Lylla alerted him of your imminent arrival having prepared his idea, he set it into motion.

The room suddenly went dark.

'Miguel ??..." You then saw the familiar digital droplet falling down and blooming into the tree you saw when you first met the society.

"What's going on ??"

But when the webs were forming, something was different. Instead of the canon events of every single Spider-Man, it was just you and Miguel, all the moments where smiles and laughs were shared.

You smiled looking through all of these events, Looking back at your favorite ones.

"Miguel did you see that !!!!" You saw one event where you caught your first anomaly. Miguel was so so proud of you that day.

"I did y/n, Great job." he patted your shoulder before the two of you brought it back to the society.

"Ok... so if x equals that then the web shooters would be able to extend further than they normally would" In one event you were making modifications to your web shooters to make them extend further as they were having some trouble shooting.

"That should be correct. Give it a go Niño" (Kiddo)

You then aimed your web shooters at the test dummy which was further than usual. shooting at it, the webs stuck to the dummy.

"Miguel we did it !!!!" You smiled widely at him

"Look at you go little genius" He ruffled your hair A proud dad moment.

"Come on Miguel just one game please." You managed to bring your games console back from your universe and convinced Miguel to play just one round with you.

"Ok Ok just one round"

But one round turned to multiple, he was having so much fun with you.

"Your going down y/n."

"Oh no your not !!"

But at the last minute surprisingly Miguel pulled a combo move on you, eventually making the game his for the taking.

"Guess I can say I'm the ultimate Spider-Man and gamer" He even did somewhat of a victory dance which got you laughing.

Seeing all of this made you smile wide, You've shared a lot of fond memories with Miguel.

The webs disappeared and the room lit up again.

"Happy birthday y/n" Miguel came out of his hiding spot, smiling widely.

"Miguel..." Your happy tears brew as you rush to him and hug him tightly. He wrapped his strong arms around you, hugging you just as tight.

"I loved it... thank you so much"

"I love you Niño, so so much, happy birthday"

Lylla appeared blowing her party horn and popping digital party streamers. "Happy birthday to the one and only Y/N !!!"

The smile not leaving your face all day. you just witnessed the greatest birthday gift of all time. Miguel spent all night organizing each event into one web. You couldn't have asked for a greater birthday gift than that.

I'm doing a second semester of a creative writing class and I have a tendency to daydream about Evanstan or Stucky while coming up with scenarios to write about... but today just took the cake.

We were doing RomCom tropes and I got handed the trope 'years and years later' and while I know that I can't write RPF as an actual assignment, it did get me thinking of Evanstan. We know the genuine affection that Seb and Chris have for each other, we see it every time they're around each other...so it got me thinking that there's no way that Chris didn't congratulate Sebastian on his Berlinale win.

Maybe when Sebastian wins his phone starts blowing up with messages. The avengers group chat is going non stop and Mackie has texted him separately as well but it isn't hard for Sebastian to notice that Chris hasn't texted him. He doesn't expect one from him, it's been years since they've spoken, but he can't help but feel a slight twinge of something. But then he facetime call and its Chris, who had decided that a text simply wouldn't be enough and ge needed to call him. Chris can't stop gushing and telling Sebastian how proud he is of him and how he'll definitely meet up with him to celebrate because they absolutely need to. And that little flame that Sebastian's been carrying around for years has been reignited all over again.

They meet while Chris is filming in NYC and one thing leads to another that leads to them not wanting to go do long long without speaking again so they start texting regularly...both with each other and on their Cap Squaf group (I'm guessing they have one) and by time they see each other in LA again Chris has realised his feelings as well, hence his inability to hide his excitement when he sees Sebastian. And they kiss, make lots of love and make Sebastian late for his SDCC panel and live happily ever after ❤

“Hey, you're okay?”

You jumped a bit at the sound of your best friend's voice coming from just next to you.

“What? Yeah, sure, of course,” you grinned at her, although by the slightly dubious look she gave you, you didn't manage to fool her entirely. “Just… Y'know… long day.”

Your friend nodded with an understanding sigh. Being born on July 4th was always sure to make your birthday celebrations more… complicated to organize. Not like you minded, really. As long as you had your closest friends and, or family around, you didn't care when exactly you celebrated. The party your friend had thrown for you was amazing, too, but something was missing. Well… Someone was missing.

Taking the glass your friend was handing you, you smiled gratefully and stared over the railing of the rooftop terrace the party was taking place on. She'd gone all out to make the night special for you by selecting this place, the decorations, and food. The view was incredible as you would be able to easily see the fireworks when they'd be starting in a few minutes, but right now, you just took in the twinkling lights of the city below you as you drank.

“There we go,” another of your friends suddenly called out as he pointed to the sky where the first firework exploded into beautiful sparks of color.

The rest of the small party assembled at the railing to watch the show, and you soon found yourself smiling and laughing with everyone as they pointed out this or that detail.

Several minutes in, something caught your attention in your peripherals. Your head turned to the source, but there was nothing there. Frowning, you shook your head and returned your attention to the fireworks.

Once it was over, you all slowly began returning to the bar and food tables, chatting and laughing. You looked back to the railing briefly, but then joined your friends for some well-deserved birthday cake, making a show of blowing out the candles.

A good two hours later, most people had started to head home, giving you a last hug and birthday wishes, leaving only your best friend by the end.

“I'll just hit the restroom before I get the keys, so we can close up and go home,” she announced, while you were packing your presents into different bags.

“'kay.” You nodded and walked to the railing, remembering that you'd left a present on one of the tables there.

You jumped about a foot in the air and yelped in surprise when a dark figure suddenly landed right next to you from the small overhang of the rooftop.

“Sorry,” a low voice said sheepishly, making you utter a loud breath of relief when you recognized the form and voice.

“Oh my Gosh, Matt!”

Your heart began racing for entirely different reasons as soon as you saw Matt's soft smile while he uncovered the top of his face that had been hidden behind a dark scarf. Your face moved into a happy smile at the sight of his brown eyes and apologetic expression.

“Wish I could've been here sooner, but-”

“It's fine, Matt. You know it is. What you do is more important than a stupid birthday party.”

Matt's mouth twisted unhappily before he sighed exasperatedly. He cupped your face and put his forehead to yours, making your bodies align properly and letting you get a whiff of him. Your whole body went lax at his touch and scent, your eyes falling closed as your arms loosely circled his waist.

“You're important to me,” he whispered fiercely, making your smile wobbly with emotions and unable to speak.

It didn't matter, since Matt tilted your head until his lips pressed over yours for a long kiss.

“Happy birthday, Love.”

i've been meaning to write headcanons for her but i think she barely regresses around anyone that she doesn't have complete trust in and even then she rarely does it out of embarassment. however, she is a baby to me.

Oh gosh. I don't just like her, I love her. 😍 She manages to be pretty much everything I'm not and yet she resonates with me so much?!? They initially look like they are one type of character, and then you get to see their layers, and each one is more beautiful and complex than the other? I want to hang out with her, I want to admire her from afar with dreamy/smitten eyes, I want her to be president of the world, I want to give her a happy, serene life forever.

2. Favorite canon thing about this character?

Her whole gender thing (talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique, and all that), and also her kind, generous, thoughtful, sweet nature.

3. Least favorite canon thing about this character?

Definitely the way the authors had her act with Bison in S1. 😤

Apparently the authors have stated somewhere that she's heat-proof (obviously), but also that Rose can cool down with her power, so Nathan probably also can warm up with hers (and just put on whatever she wants forever, lol)

I love exploring her gender and all her slightly-hidden depths. I love giving her soft, comforting moments (especially with Keith). I love, apparently, making frequent references to her beauty 😅

I don't like how I have to often remind myself that she is that over-the-top in canon and even though the tone of my fics doesn't usually quite match that of the show, I should still try to respect their characterization as much as I possibly can.

I've done this for Alex and Dave (I think lol) so this time I'll be filling this one out for the lovely Andrea; second in command to Alex and honestly the one who helps keep them sane. Let's go!

Are you named after anyone? 

To be perfectly honest; maybe? I don't often talk about it, but, back when I first came here, back when I had those memories still; there was just something about that name that stuck to me. I'm not sure if it was that portion of me's name, someone we liked, or like...whatever else. I still really like it, and it feels like it suits me. Though if I was looking for a change I'd probably go with something like a Rebecca or Sally. Best friends before I started working for the large and looming. Like they still are my best friends...I think? We chat every once in a while but what with work and all...I'm sorry, that wasn't part of the question!

When was the last time you cried? 

Saw a really cute bunch of Dreamers hanging out on the park benches before coming here so uh...I'll let you put those pieces together.

Do you use sarcasm? 

Depends on who I'm around. Most of the other co-workers are fine but uh, boss and big boss? Yeah, nah, it'd turn into one of those moments where you try and make a joke but then that other person makes it out into a whole big lecture. Alex I think would be more likely to tolerate if not understand it, I mean they've tried their hand at it before anyway. Dave on the otherhand...good luck explaining the nuance of that kind of thing to a god. I swear, you'd have a better chance trying to convince him to change the uniform mandate.

What’s the first thing you notice about people? 

How well they can take a little ribbing. Most people are pretty chill and even tag along. But some, hooo boy, they throw a giant fit! "Oh give it back!" this "How did you even get ahold of it?" that. Bunch of killjoys.

 What’s your eye color? 

So! The shade I'm going with now is like a mix of a soft lavender with an undercut of hazel! When I get bored of it I'm sure I'll change. I love lavender though! Oh my gosh it has to be one of the best colors of the visible spectrum! I haven't tried ultraviolet though...ya know what, think I got a new style to try out.

Scary Movies or Happy Endings? 

Every waking moment here is a nightmare of horrors and corporate smothering...so happy endings are nice!

Any special talents? 

I can throw a knife reeeeeally good. Like, really good. Care to see?

Oh man don't put me on the spot like this! Uhm...wow mind is a complete blank. I promise I'm not boring! I just...uh...well...I like to go for walks? Do crosswords? Uhm...ugh! I hate these kinds of question so skip!

Do you have any pets? 

Oh my god! *she rummages around in her pocket and pulls out a heavily creased photo* This is Piere! *unfolding the photo you are greeted with the chittering maw of some kind of furry cephalopod * He is the sweetest little Mawlite! He's about three cycle old so still just a hatchling! Now despite his sweet looks he can be such a little rascal! Why recently-*for roughly the next 2-3 hours she enthusiastically goes over every small detail of her pet, the words all blurring together at some point*

What sports do you play/have played? 

Uuuuhm, look I'll be honest with you. If I'm not out working I would much rather set my happy ass down on the couch and snuggle my wittle baby~ But, I was pretty okay at archery.

Favorite subject in school? 

If there is anyone out there who liked anything about onboarding or those stupid preliminary classes I wou-you know what no, I know at least one person. Let me level with ya, I have forgotten most of the nitty-gritty so we'll just skip this question also.

Dream job? 

Despite my bitching, I couldn't think of a better department to work in. Well...maybe the Wildlife sector but then I'd have to deal with that manager and wouldn't have as much time to be home and all that jazz. Though, I would get a sick kit. Knowing Dave though this will be going onto an official record so I'll just say I'm happy where I am.

I was so pleased to finally get this drawn on paper after it had lived in my head for so long :) Still makes me laugh to imagine this interaction between them...

Gosh this took me SO LONG to finish! I'm proud of the work I put into it and the overall finished piece, especially considering how I find clothes and poses verrry difficult to draw :') I like seeing the whole gang together, and it was my first time properly drawing Zen!

Like I said before poses and clothes are tricky for me, and this is a full-body pose, in other words, a moment of triumph. I have a whole list of ML au notes that I might build on one day, and if it gets me improving full body poses and clothes then it certainly is miraculous, ahaha

I don't know this mun too much OOC, so I don't know if their IRL job involves art, but I hope it does, because again, their talents are incredible. I'm often a spy on their John/Nick threads with @adventurepunks; I can't help it. It may not be my preferred ship for Constantine, but GAWD, their threads are SO GOOD! 10/10 def. recommend!

@blizzardmuses : Bea is just such a sweetheart and always indulges me with whatever crazy idea I throw at them.
