headcanon dump, copy/pasted (and edited a little bit) from a private chat with gvesnofux :p

kinda stopped going to book club, not because he wanted to, but because enough people talked him into theater instead. auditioning usually puts him in an understudy role, so he learns all the lines and blocking (and songs/dancing if it's a musical) for pretty much no reason. why do they keep casting understudies. what the fuck. also helps with props crew and musical accompaniment when he's not doing understudy stuff

speaking of book club tho, if he has the time he'll go out of his way to figure out what they're reading and try to keep up with them. he usually still doesn't show up for the club meetings, but it's still interesting just to see what they've decided to read, and most times it's actually a good read. and if it's not, it's fun to laugh at how bad it is and/or pick it apart

on school days, he’ll wake up, have a cup of coffee at home, fill a travel mug before he leaves, and get a refill during lunch to hold him over until he gets home. if he has a club meeting, he orders a large coffee from his parents’ shop over UberEats

so that midday coffee refill, at least it's not coffee from the shop, ok. he's managed to shmooze a teacher (probably by being A Pleasure To Have In Class) into getting him a refill from the teacher's lounge during lunch. it doesn't pack the same punch, but until he finds out his parents lace their shit (IF he ever finds out) he just thinks it's half-caff

seriously he has yet to question his parents on the coffee. even though he still does supply runs to the McCormick’s. maybe it’s the shit in the coffee, maybe it’s naïve blind trust in the people who are supposed to care about him, maybe it’s a bit of both. either way, someone’s gotta break the news here before this kid does something fucking stupid

he mains Ness/Lucas in Super Smash Bros. all he does is buttonmash tho

still plays piano, but outside of theater stuff, he only really plays at home

growing up has calmed him down quite a bit, especially when he's with Craig or people who aren't the Main Boys/his parents, but he's definitely still prone to manic anxiety attacks every so often
