“..Wait, you hit Luffy back then? You're such an awful brother!!” You sobbed out to Ace who was stoned, agreeing with you.

“I know.. I was such an awful brother to him when I was a kid, I always bullied Luffy back then..” Cried Ace, wiping his tears and snot to your clothes—“UGH, DISGUSTING! DON'T WIPE IT ON MEEE!”

Having a childish fight with the raven-haired male for a moment, your phone dinged—catching your attention and Ace's.

“Ah...? It's already 5 PM? Oh my, we lost track of time and forgot to study, Ace!” You stated as Ace shrugged, not giving a damn.

“Who cares? What we're doing now is more fun than studying, right?” He says with a smirk on his face, taking your phone and turning it off..

I was giving myself a haircut (don't worry I'm an actual a hairstylist so it's not like I'm losing my mind) And thought to myself: Yuji clearly has an undercut. As well as Nobara having a short bob. These are both high up keep styles. And so it came to me: In Dorm Haircuts

At it's root it's pure impulsiveness. Megumi tells them not to do it this will end poorly. Nobara tells him he has no say bc Meg's gets a haircut maybe once every 6 months so he doesn't understand the pain of a grown out style.

Yuji agrees.

But Yuji was also scrolling pinterest when Megumi was talking so he only half heard nothing he said. What he did hear was Nobara saying she'll trim up Yuji's undercut if he returns the favor.

For some reason Yuji thinks that means she knows what she's doing. She doesn't. So Yuji wants to try a hair design! Those cool geometric patterns in hair seem dope! And Nobara is so confident!

Megumi, downright knows this is disastrous. If he knew this was how his Tuesday would go he'd never agreed to come over.

Again vetoed bc lets face it Megumi just doesn't get haircuts.

Nobara and Yuji on the other hand? Oh shit yeah they'd seen professionals do it! How hard could it be?!

Answer: Extremely

The first screw up ultimately is like the fall of the Roman empire.

Nobara shaves the back of his neck up too high. Its ok, Yuji is optimistic the design will distract from the fact it looks like his hair like starts half way up his head.

Now the lines are crooked.

Oh god they're uneven and too fat.

God they're blending in together nothing is looking geometrical at all.

Megumi can't look away in horror.

Nobara no no no this isn't right. Nothing looks like the pictures. Yuji's head looks like a weird hairy potato now. Maybe if she just- oh lord no.

Finally it's over.

Did Yuji get a haircut? You bet your buns he did. Is Nobara letting him borrow her mirror to look at it so he can- Annnnd she broke her mirror.

Yuji says it feels good. Megumi rubs his face just tired. He leaves before any of this becomes bigger than it is. Yuji still offers to cut Nobara's hair.

No way.

But Yuji should really go back to his dorm to check his hair out. Like immediately. He needs to leave. Nobara needs to hide the evidence.

Yuji is optimistic until he gets to his dorm. And proceeds to beg Gojo to help save him from looking like he has mange 😂

Yeah anyways sorry that was long it snowballed just like I know dorm haircuts would 😂

Very similar/similar enough where if someone doesn't know a sheltie we mention shetland sheepdogs), our current one is a purebred that we got for free(she was being given away bc her family never came back for her and the lady taking care of her couldn't afford the time to take care of a second dog long-term think) and she's got pretty short fur in comparison- still fluffy enough, but not quite so long of fur-- she's a blue merle(absolutely gorgeous fur, she's like 8 now with a lot of health problems but she's super loving still 💕💞) anyways about the fur, so long as you brush regularly you should mitigate most of that, and it mostly collects in corners- but like.. be prepared to eat and wear dog fur for the rest of your life-- (actually there's a thing called a fur zapper we bought recent that you put in with your clothes when you wash/dry them(I think it's dry but idk??) that's supposed to get a lot of hair off your clothes in that process? Also lint rollers are your best friend--) AND roombas are really helpful(we bought a knockoff one and rarely have to sweep ever so 👀) XDD WHEEZE I can't even imagine what you did-- but like you could ask for a budgie/parakeet /hj I mean, they aren't very expensive (actually they're pretty cheap) but they're very loud, need a lot of attention(especially if you want them to bond to you!) and you need to research into them a lot to make sure you're doing things right-- loads of vids online!! Loads of websites too!!! The Gingerbread House Competition

Prologue:

It all started with J.

With his makeshift gingerbread house he was building using graham crackers and vanilla frosting.

Sitting at the table in the kitchen, constructing and decorating to his heart's content.

You enter the kitchen with his brothers

A stack of pizzas in hand

*Heckling commences*

Hearing their teasing remarks, you make a decision.

"Maybe everyone should build a gingerbread house. The winner gets to choose their Christmas gift from me this year," you tell them.

All five boys exchange glances and nod with huge smiles.

"Well, if THAT'S the case…" J says, "I'm due for an upgrade," he tells you with a wink.

SO…

Each of the brothers does their research and plans out their design

And the results are phenomenal!

Well…

Almost.

Don

We all know our resident genius is a perfectionist with his projects

Methodical

Architectural

Mathematical

He draws out full-blown blueprints

And concocts the perfect gingerbread house-building material.

This bitch is structurally sound.

Could withstand an earthquake test.

This gingerbread house would put Taipei 101 to shame.

Steps back and assesses his current project.

Isn't satisfied with his results.

Has an idea that would blow the other houses out of the water for sure.

But it's gonna mean some slight disassembly and reconstruction.

And a buttload of icing.

Sighs and mutters, "Maximum effort" under his breath.

A few pots of coffee and two batches of iced snickerdoodles later…

He's wired lights to the inside of his little house for added flair

He clicks the lights on and stands back.

Totally worth it.

Raph

Big hands

Small crumbly gingerbread walls

Icing that's stickier than tacky glue

LOTS of swear words

Every single one in the book to be precise.

This poor man is struggling.

He chucks his second attempt at a "Stupid-assed house" across the room when the roof caves in for the fourth time.

He knows it's time to take a short break

Decides to work on his project in his woodworking shop

And that's where inspiration hits.

Suddenly he's in the kitchen

Rolling long sticks of Gingerbread and baking them.

Goes to Don and asks about the best combination of confectioners sugar and egg whites for the ultimate hold

Raph is Don's favorite, so he shares 😂

Goes back to work

Starts with an open floor plan

Builds miniature furniture using candies and other snack foods.

Then he builds the house around his miniatures

And he builds a mother-fluffing log cabin

Like a boss

Shrubbery

Santa Claus

There's a rocking chair on the porch and everything

"Are those… candy… glass… WINDOWS?"

Red gives you a quick wink

*Peers in the little windows*

"Raph! Is that a fireplace inside?!"

"You know it is, baby," he smirks

Alright.

They challenged the wrong dude.

Has been blessed by the culinary Gods

And this culinary genius has DWARFED everyone else's creations

It's as tall as he is when it's sitting on the floor.

Especially because not only does it look good…

"How'd you get lights in the windows? I don't see any wires…"

"Oh. No lights. The whole thing was built on top of a mirror. The rays of light are refracted by candy glass in the peaks of the towers," he says like it's general knowledge.

*Crickets*

J just shrugs

Leo

Totally looks like a 5-year-old built it.

Looks like it needs a “condemned” sign posted on it

And he was so proud

Until he saw the rest of his brothers’ creations

“Is there actually any gingerbread under there?”

“I think you used too much spray foam insulation…”

“Well, shows how ignorant you all are,” Leo says with his arms crossed.

“It’s a Picasso piece, you uncultured swines,” he announces

All the guys bust out laughing while Leo pouts and sticks his tongue out at them

Like a 5-year-old

Splinter

Decides to jump in on the fun

And leaves them all gawking

Building a traditional dojo

That looks like something right out of feudal Japan

"Dad wins," says Basilio, at his first glance as he walks into the lair.

"Thank you, son. But I'm not actually part of the competition. I made mine for fun," he says, giving you a quick wink.

"Actually, these are all amazing. Can I take one to the hotel? I'd love to display one at the front desk," he tells his brothers.

The guys agree, and Basilio walks around to choose his winner.

"What happened here?" He teases his twin.

"It's modern art," Leo tells him in mock pride.

"Mine wouldn't have come out much better," Basilio whispers, placing his hand on Leo's shoulder.

"J! I'm taking yours," he announces.

"He only picked yours because you're the youngest," teases Mike.

"Favoritism," scoffs Raph.

"He doesn't want you to feel inferior," adds Don.

"I'd pick J's, too," says Leo.

*Cue everyone throwing a piece of gingerbread house at Leo*

Epilogue

You make your choice

Leo wins

By default

Because his is the worst and his brothers are relentless in their teasing

He requests a date with you.

It's a few days after the Gingerbread Disaster

He picks one up and places the mini house on a mug.

"OhmygoodnessSoCUTE" you whisper through gritted teeth.

*Chuckles*

He grabs your hand and walks you to the table where he has all the supplies to decorate gingerbread people.

"Is that what I think it is?" You ask.

Leo smiles at you.

"That's not funny, Leo."

"Don't worry," he giggles. I made a brand new batch of Gingerbread for these."

He pulls a chair out for you, and you start selecting materials for your Gingerbreadians

Leo comes over with a cup of black tea - mini house included

"You know, I would've definitely named you the winner with these… " You confess, smiling at the tiny house.

Leo closes in on you, a smile playing at his lips

"You know what would be really good with this tea right now?" He asks.

You shoot him a questioning look

"A candy cane," he says with a wink.

Extra! Extra! Read all about it! This weeks Munday asks… What are some things that tickle your funny bone? In other words, what never fails to make you laugh?

My internet's out and I can only rely on cellular data at the moment, so I need a good laugh rn :'D

So here's some stuff that never fails!

Direct eye contact — Dunno why, but making direct eye contact for about five seconds is enough to make me have a giggle fit. Even more so if it's absolutely silent and partially awkward.

Taking family photos — I always remember smiling uncontrollably for them, though the downside is that I always end up squinting and looking weird. Other people say it's fine, but I still notice it, dammit >:T

Unusual censor bleeps — Don't get me wrong, the normal bleep makes me laugh too, but it's the more creative ones that get me every time. I'm talking quacks, video game beeps, dubbing a normal word over the swear (and making it VERY clear that it's meant as a censor), the list goes on. And I'm more likely to start cackling if these bleeps are used multiple times as fast as possible XD

Hearing someone else laugh their ass off — Laughter is contagious, and I am nowhere near immune. You know that one laugh where it sounds more like a long wheeze/horse impression than... well, a laugh? That's guaranteed to make me start snickering. And also ask if you're okay because damn that sounded like it took the wind outta you owo"

Finished commission for the incomparable @thighsofthistle, who has excellent taste - she loves @tyranttortoise‘s Skeleton Squatters and the Landlady, and so requested a little side-bit where Pap and the Lady were talking about her first night in the lodge… and Edge, being the tsundere that he is, was simply too close by to pass up the opportunity to heckle tease.
