I’VE BEEN WAITING AGES TO POST MY THINGS BOUT MY FAVORITE FANFICS (and games, BonelyHeartsClub), and I look pretty chill about it, just posting slowly, but I’m making myself cry every time I see there’s no updates since 1 up to 4 years ago!!

A Lovely House of Bones is a story very much inspired by @tyranttortoise and her wonderful "Skeletons Squatters and the Landlady" because goddamn am I a sucker for tropes and found family and slow burns, and she inspired me to write my own take on the concept.

Chapter 1 will go up on Saturday July 29th, and I plan on releasing new chapters every other week going forward, so there will be something of a consistent update schedule (fingers crossed!)

I've been rolling this story around in my head for a long time, so it's so exciting to finally be putting it out into the world. I really hope you guys enjoy it! ♥

If you mean the trope of "multiple skeletons from different AUs are dragged together", thats the 6 Skeletons trope, which began in 2016 with a fic called "Six Skeletons, One Maid" (2016) by RacoonSinQueen.

The 6 Skeleton trope is an xReader trope that brings 3 (and later more) pairs of skeleton brothers into a single AU where a Reader can have relationships with them.

There are implications in 6S1M that what happened to bring this situation about was the malfunction of "A Machine", but very little of that plot thread is expounded upon. You'll find more explicit mention of "a machine" in particular coming from derivative works.

I haven't the bandwidth at the moment to crossreference exact timestamps and posting dates, but my hazy memory would point to two primary suspects in terms of The Machine subcategory of this trope:

- Skeleton Squatters and the Landlady (2017) by Tyrant_Tortoise

- Six Skeletons in your Closet (2017) by MsMK

Both of which predate my own contribution Resonance (which takes The Machine trope out of the 6 Skeletons trope entirely as of 2017).

I can't be entirely sure these are the sole contributions (the fandom is vast and concurrent evolution is a thing) but this should be a ballpart start for anyone wanting to do the research.

This fandom has such a problem with crediting and it can be very frustrating when I'm looking for the origins of something and the information just doesn't exist
