Why ship Agon & Yoichi? Welcome to the 2nd portion of my long AgoHiru meta post!! I ended up having to break it into 3 parts because of the sheer amount of images. If you missed Part 1, please go HERE.

TWO YEARS LATER - Agon doesn’t care about football.. except when he does

Agon is considered such a high-value player that scouts from University teams & Sports writers come see him play. Unfortunately for them, Agon doesn't actually enjoy football enough nor deems his participation important enough to play full time or train. And yet, when it comes to Yoichi’s new High School team, Agon makes exceptions.

During Sena’s first Deimon vs Ojo match, Agon makes surprising appearance. And he's not only keeping tabs on Yoichi, but also on any interesting newcomers to the team:

Remember how Agon insults Sena along with Ryokan during Riko’s interview? From the moment Yoichi’s football team begins to boast a new star, Sena becomes Agon’s new target of ire. Sena who, like Ryokan, lacks in areas Agon can excel. Sena who is currently Yoichi’s trump card.. the position that should be Agon’s.

Sena has no power, but his speed gives Deimon a chance at the Christmas Bowl, & Agon can’t stand that. Because at the end of it all, I think his issue isn’t the fact that Yoichi plays football, it’s the fact that he continues to choose his less talented friends to accomplish his goal instead of the "once in a century genius athlete" that is Agon.

For all his talk about playing football to crush those without talent, nothing personally motivates Agon more than playing for the sole purpose of ruining the dream Yoichi Hiruma has with his friends..

An answer that evokes an image too similar to the one Agon saw the day he decided to join Shinryuji.. Even Riko can tell this topic spells a land mine, oof

DEIMON VS SHINRYUJI - Dethroning the Gods

When the chance to play against Deimon finally arrives, Agon, of course, decides to play the game in full, much to the surprise of his teammates. And he quickly escalates to participating in ALL ASPECTS due to Yoichi's continued provocations, because it is of course Yoichi’s opinions that he cares about:

When he finally faces off against Yoichi himself, Agon chops him down the same way he does everyone. But once Yoichi gets a hold of his leg, Agon smashes him to the ground so hard, the demon bleeds!

Such strong aggression.. like some seriously pent up UST

And five minutes after contact, Agon still can’t stop thinking about it because he’s so affected by it!

As the match goes on, Agon reluctantly begins to accept Sena as a formidable player, but nonetheless he continues to keep an eye on Yoichi, often bringing up his history with him to assess the potential of Deimon’s plays.

Despite not speaking to each other for two years & the fact that they mostly only hung out for blackmail, Agon sure knows quite a lot about Yoichi’s stats & play style. I think this shows he’s clearly very invested in him.

Deimon's match against Shinryuji is SUPER DELIGHTFUL to me for several reasons, especially because:

We got a story of origins: how the Maou trio ended up in Deimon

The Shinryuji Nagas have been set up since vol 6 as the Best Team in all of Kanto, with 9 consecutive championships won

Agon is presented as a personal villain to the our protagonists, which makes winning against his team all the more sweeter

Yukimisu debuts!

Because Agon is a man who can play any position, this is the only game where every touchdown by Deimon was done by a different character

Agon, the once-in-a-century genius had such malicious intent in proving to Yoichi that his team was made up of losers. But he instead ends up getting owned by a variety of Deimon's players, even those who had never before touched the ball in an official match!

By the end of the game, guess what Agon thinks about?

His conversation with Yoichi, and the two players he bashed the most. The end result of this match crushes him so badly that he decides to do the previously unimaginable: to TRAIN.

Yoichi influences Agon: +30 points! (Agon plays a full match. Agon tastes defeat. Agon decides to train!)

And so.. after being bested by Deimon, Agon begins to take the sport seriously, fully intent in seeking another rematch. Another chance to once again prove he’s the best player & that Yoichi should've chosen him.

Oops.. Except that Deimon’s third years don’t get to participate in sports.

See, training soon proves to not be enough for Agon. Not only does Agon keep a close watch on Deimon's next matches, he even goes so far as to try out for Teikoku High after Deimon secures their ticket to their long-coveted Christmals Bowl. Because Agon doesn’t want to wait a whole year for a rematch. 

Maybe it's just drama to up the stakes, but taking his history with Yoichi & his tremendous grudge against Yoichi's friends into account, I posit he did it because he knew Deimon’s third years don’t get to play sports. Defeating Deimon without facing Yoichi would feel pretty pointless, after all, it is Yoichi whom he wants to brag to.

A year ago, Agon turned down Teikoku because of how committed he was to staying at Shinryuji specifically. Yet that goes out the window the moment it wasn’t enough to ruin the dreams Yoichi build with his friends

In any case, Agon goes to watch Deimon vs Ojo in person once again, as well as the Christmas Bowl. As for the Hakushuu match, he only watches it through TV (maybe he couldn't watch Yoichi get crushed in person).

I did already know Alas Ramus was going to eat the sword, but it's fun to see how they animated it as a little chomp, like a teething toy

It's honestly very fair of Emi to teach Maou to feel a fraction of the loss he caused by not telling him where Alas Ramus is right away

I know these four were technically the pillars of a demonic plague on their society but I do have to laugh that Maou and his generals can be described as: Part-time MgRonald's worker and doting father, chronically-ill househusband, teenage shut-in with a criminal record and shopping addiction, and Big Bird

"And when you get back to the demon realm, tell everyone that King Satan lives. And that one of the sacred swords is already in my possession." I do prefer the manga's translation of this moment, which is a more literal, 'one of the sacred swords is already in my grasp':

I have uploaded this on twitter, but this has more explanation of their lore!

I have an idea to include more composers in the Rhythm Heaven universe! They already included Bach, why not make the others exist there too? I named this section of Rhythm Heaven: CLASSICAL

Bach is the father figure of the stepswitchers. His main outfit color is pink, he could change it to blue and green as he desires (usually to match with the stepswitchers wen they're performing). Bach hates it when someone was being out of time (being late or too fast).

His hobby is walking around Rhythm Heaven, playing the church organ, harpsichord or performing a music duel (mostly with Maestro Dvorak).

Maestro Dvorak is a music and train conductor, he is known as the Conductor by most Rhythm Heaven civilians. He's the father of Cosmic girl—Dvorak delivers Cosmic, her friends and crewmates (cosmic dancers) to their performance using his train.

Dvorak wishes that his music was well-known and a lot of people recognizes it—he likes fame but he rather have his life to be private. He is familiar with the legend of Q Maou—A person may ask one wish, but he will give a downside. Q Maou has granted his wish, with a downside: if he conducts his 9th Symphony the 2nd movement, he'll vanish from existence. He kept this event to himself and never has spoken about it to anyone.

He has a favorite instrument to play and listen to, which is the viola. He founds the viola to have the perfect sound of the pitch, not too high like the violin, and not too low like the cello.

He duels a lot with Bach for fun. But it would be too dangerous if they did it too often, their music is able destroy Rhythm Heaven itself.

He's known as Beethoven, but he prefers to be called as Ludwig. He used to study Bach's pieces. He keeps moving from one apartment to another when the room is too messy to tidy up—till he moved to Rhythm Heaven to tutor students. Ludwig is able to teach how to play the organ, piano, guitar, and the violin.

He started to lose his hearing due to an unknown reasoning. Due to this, he had to stop teaching students and start his new path on becoming a music composer. He then left Rhythm Heaven to find somewhere where others aren't able to bother him

Ludwig is JJ Rocker's former mentor—ever since he left Rhythm Heaven, he keeps on update with JJ's fame through the papers.

He was often being made fun of by the other composers due to his height, such as offering him to sit on a baby chair as a joke.

Peter lives in a village on the north part of Rhythm Heaven. He's a fond of Maestro Dvorak, both of them enjoys each other's music pieces.

Mushroom hunting was a part of his culture and he loves it. His serotonin rose through the roof whenever he sees a colony of mushroom.

He also loves gardening! His favorite flower is lilies of the valley. When he finished taking care of his plants, he would make himself a cup of chai tea to relax.

He's shy talking to new people, he also hates it when someone records his voice. He hates listening to his own voice because he thinks that his voice is bad.

Peter hated Brahms' pieces and envied him due to his success and popularity. He always receives sour criticism from Brahms, Peter even calls him a "giftless bastard". Brahms never cared for Peter's pieces, he fell asleep on one of his premieres. Occasionally, Pirate Captain Jackie borrowed Peter's cannons without his permission and uses it for fun. He is concerned about her behavior since she's just a kid, she shouldn't be using cannons and going on an adventure without a guardian.

"It will be quick I promise!" Drah turned, beaming at Maou as he moved farther away from the other, not really watching where he was waking but getting slightly farther away from him.

"Then we can go get something to eat, I promise." He was going to turn around, though he froze as he did, his body once vibrating with excitement and flashing smiles at Maou paused, as if unsure what to do.

"Ma-" He moved, looking down at his chest, red starting to seep through the white sweatshirt that he was wearing, blue eyes crinkled in confusion before he turned slightly as if looking for whatever struck him before he fell to the ground, a pained sound escaping his lips.

He'd be shot.

He wasn't to tell them no, he wasn't aching or was his back playing up, he was just hungry. So - he might be a little grumpy about it, but who wouldn't be if they were a bear like him? Still, the excitement in Drah's person was growing on him as usual - easy to fall into step. Turning back of their venture towards the food place Maou wanted to get too. Watching Drah ahead, he had taken note of their confidence, their indifference? No, naivety from lack of trust to be outside on their own had grown since they started dating. Meeting Liam once and only once, since they were people that would clash but also not at all speak in the others' presence. Just glare across the room - though Drah was the main reason Maou even stayed for long.

The thing about Maou is that I’m not entirely sure if they’re foreshadowing the Master’s inevitable fate and telling you that they’re just going to stand there as they watch you fail and fall to your doom out of pure amusement... or if this is their way of confessing their ‘affection’ for their vassal and telling them that they intend to spend the rest of their vassal’s mortal life watching over them... Maybe it’s both? It’s probably both... yeah...

Is there a universe where Galvatron doesn’t die in Headmasters but still Prime does? He would he have to deal with a powerstruggle with Devil Z, Deathsaurus, Viloen Jigger and Dark Nova? Would they pledge their allegiance to Galvatron or try to oppose him or work alongside him?

Again, the multiverse is infinite, so there most certainly are several universes where Galvatron doesn't get trapped in the ice by the headmasters (technically still alive until he was upgraded by Dark Nova)

But Masterforce and on would be vastly different for the simple reason that the main autobot decepticon conflict never ends up leaving Earth, Galvatron is the sort of tyrant who will NEVER give up on a prospective conquest and so he continues to scheme and attempt to claim Earth even more feverently after Cybertron explodes. While Scorpinok manages to survive, scheming to over throw Galvatron yet another day, the conflict ends up burning for so long that eventually, the God Master's start to uncover their destined transtectors amidst the conflict, and Devil Z arrives on Earth. In the timeline proper, Devil Z, a vok like ascended being, took advantage of the Decepticon forces in their absence of a emperor of destruction to lead them, but here to get his work done, he instead has to make a deal with the existing one to get the man power he needs.

Now Galvatron in all of his insanity craves one thing above all else, Power, it's the one thing he has left from his former Megatron personae due to the way those acid pools damage his brain module, so not considering the potential foul play afoot, he of course takes Devil Z up on his offer. However in doing so, Devil Z takes the Mad Tyrant as his host and reformats him, much in the way he had with Scorpinok/Majin Zarak, and so Galvatron becomes the black armored MEGATRON X.

Ironically restoring his sanity circuits, only to have his autonomy stripped from him by playing host to the entity that is Devil Z. As the conflict rages, harder than in the main timeline as Devil Z has the full Decepticon Empire at his disposal, the Autobots call re-enforcements to Earth from their colonization projects, including Rodimus Prime's protégé and personal choice for next Supreme Commander, Star Saber. To combat these higher forces, Overlord gets re-engineered to combine with Megatron X into MAOU MEGATRON X. Ultimately, the Masterforce conflicts come to a close in an all out brawl between God Ginrai, with a few upgrades to God Bomber thanks to Star Saber's engineering expertise, and Maou Megatron X, ultimately purging Devil Z from Megatron's body. After the experience of having his autonomy torn from him, Megatron...reconsiders his position, and with Scorpinok and Deathsaurus leading various coup attempts...

Megatron and a small group of Decepticons, including Soundblaster, make the choice to defect to the autobots. Megatron knows there's no way to truly atone for what he's done, but the least he can do now is fight to stop anyone from doing what he once had with whatever life he has left. He altered his body again, now that he was truly himself once more, and Megatron's aid during Victory ultimately results in Ginrai's survival against Deathsaurus.
