“yay the bad kids can spend all their downtime doing mystery and relaxation rolls now that academics are out of the way!!” all i’m hearing is that murph has the opportunity to make riz’s arc this season even more heartbreaking as he continues to pour all his energy into mystery and helping his friends bc he simply cannot let himself relax or he’ll Die

also i have a feeling that murph is saving that rage token for a juicy plot/character moment and part of me hopes the npc he’ll mess up his relationship with is jawbone :) can you imagine jawbone finding out riz stole klck’s file from his office and, not realising that riz is this 👌 close to snapping, (rightfully) gets a little mad at him and riz bites back WAY too hard? and jawbone has to deal with the fact that, even though he had a right to be angry, he’s screwed up his chances of helping the one kid he’s been having so much trouble reaching?

the only thing worse than this to me would be riz snapping at his mom (unthinkable) or one of the bad kids (life ruining)

My very good friend @annchanorsomethin writes THIS AMAZING FIC on AO3 for over a year already! I am following it since November 2022 and let me tell ya, I wish this was the way Illumination treated their canon. I don’t think this amount of planning went into the real DM4, judging from the trailer…

And for those of you who were upset about the absence of Dr Nefario and Dru, this fic has you covered, believe me 😏

SUMMARY:

After Balthazar Bratt's defeat, everything seems to go better than ever: Gru and Lucy are back working for the AVL and Gru's overly enthusiastic brother, Dru is the new bad guy in town... or is he? The illusion of everything going so well fades, as the past comes back to haunt the family, threatening to destroy them once and for all... If it wasn't for the most passionate of the family doing everything in their power to protect what they love most - even if it means to step over the bounds of time and space itself.

Rated M for possible graphic depictions of violence in the future (though for now it stays in PG, I think). Features Professor Rott as the main antagonist – the original character inspired by early concept arts for Gru from late 2000s, the idea and design of Rott belong to @elitadream

This post also features original concept art made by me, styled to mimic Eric Guillon’s (official concept artist from Illumination) style, so it looks more like a real DM4 concept. I really, really hope this story will find more followers, because it totally deserves them! For now there are 11 chapters, and there will be more!

this absolute genius on twitter pointed out that "the great cold" could refer to moominpappa catching a cold which IS the catalyst for him writing his memoirs right at the start of the book!!!!

I still think there's a chance the great cold is about the weather since this season is about the environment n stuff but even then, pappa could still catch a cold from the bad weather which would then segue into the explorer episode

Heyyy everyone, I've been scrolling through fairly oddparents posts and got so inspired I thought up ideas enough for 4 aus lol

Hopefully I'll draw smth for them soon

Those are all WIPs!

1) Whimsy au. Redesign of fairies and other magical creatures to make them look more, well... Whimsical! They would have different clothes, wings and maybe tails. Along with Cosmo having feathery bird-like tail, Wanda's being more fluffy and Peri's a mix of both.

They also have wands made of different wood all having specific properties.

Inspired by, well, what I know about fairies from other media and @cubbihue 's itty bitties au

2) College Peri au

He transforms into human at a very young for a fairy age and is kinda shitty about it. He has many give-aways, such as - longer ears, sparkly hair, sometimes he forgets himself and starts floating.

Why does he do it? Well, from a very young age, Peri has been involved in human culture, growing up along his older brother Timmy and he absorbed a lot.

He deserves some friends hus own age so I want him mingling with colledge young adults, like Anthony and his girl friend.

Peri is mischievous in this one, tot using his magic sneakily to win in uno for exampl. He will maybe get caught by Anthony? Anyway Anthony will know about magic but wouldn't know that Hazel knows too.

Peri partying with humans he and getting drunk way too easily and accidentally doing magic stuff lolol

3) Uncontrollable magic/ kinda "evil" Peri au?

Been seeing some evil peri posts and I love them. Also remember posts about his magic being suppressed, love that two. So here's my take at combining those concepts kind of.

Born to the Cosma line, an ancient and powerful one, Peri surpassed dven his parents. It happens sometimes with magical beings when a kid is even stronger then their parents.

Being that powerful means his magic was suppressed pretty much as soon as they knew just how devastating it could be. So, since early ears he doesn't remember.

No one really taught him how to use it and maybe he's even oblivious himself.

But it wouldn't be for long ohoho.

Kinda blue exorcist inspired.

When his magic gets out it's uncontrollable, raw, threatening and he can hardly control it or who he becomes when it does happen

4) Dad Peri au. Peri accidentally becoms human when Dev wishes for him to be his father.

Dev with purple hair? Maybe

Peri losing his memories of magic? Gang trying to bring them back?

Sorry if it's too similar to someone else's idea, oh well, I sure hope it's not. Ohoho aus are so coool I like reading them and thinking about them

Happy Halloween! I'm not ready to say goodbye to the Avengers AU, so how about a little more of them as a treat? 🤭 This was a scene I started and then decided would probably fall in between chapters 8 and 9, so I set it aside to possibly pursue later.

Mobius and Loki have a little time to themselves. Whatever shall they get up to? 😏

“It just feels a little unreal. I thought I really blew it with that first kiss.”  Loki’s mouth turned down but before he could speak, Mobius put a finger to his lips. Loki’s eyes widened. Mobius doubted anyone had ever tried to silence him before, let alone so bluntly. “What did I say about apologizing?” Mobius said and then grinned. “Besides, the part where you, uh, pinned me to the wall wasn’t so bad.” The memory of that moment made his heart beat faster. Loki’s gaze slowly turned considering before a devious light sparked in his green eyes. He took Mobius’ by the hips and pivoted away from the bed, backing him up slowly until they reached the wall. He held Mobius in place with one hand on his chest and the other against the wall by his head, caging him in.   “Is that so?” he murmured. Mobius swallowed, feeling his face heat up. Loki was the one mostly undressed, but Mobius somehow felt more naked with how Loki looked at him.  “Did you enjoy feeling powerless against me?” Loki lowered his voice as he leaned in, his lips brushing Mobius’ ear as he spoke. “Were you eager to submit to your new god?” Between one breath and the next, a green shimmer ran down Loki’s body, leaving him dressed in the elaborate Asgardian clothes he’d been wearing the night before Stuttgart. He looked undeniably good, especially now that he’d filled out, but it also took away the glorious sight of his body.  “No,” Mobius groaned, even as his pulse picked up. “Why’d you get dressed again? We’re going backwards here.” “You're not going anywhere,” Loki said with a smirk.
