very late to the party, i just opened dash to compliments for you, & i simply can't not praise your portrayal. i've followed you across quite a few blogs for a very long time by this point, and let me say that you have been one of my absolute favourite blogs the entire time. the original re4 holds such a special place in my heart, and saddler has long since been one of my favourite (if not my no.1 choice) villains in the re series, and you bring so much life to his character that we don't get to see through the game (both og & remake). you take the deep dive into his history and bring it to light, i've learned so much about his character through your blog alone with your portrayal of him. you don't stray from the aspects of his character/mannerisms/personality, what have you, that are highly unsettling that make him who he is, and it's such a wonderful thing to see with any portrayal of a villainous character. 10/10, five out of five stars. you're wonderful and so is your portrayal.

「𝔖」 Yes, we have been mutuals for quite a while & this means so much to me. THANK YOU! Although I'm pretty isolated / confined to the RE RPC, you can absolutely count I'll be following your Leon wherever you go. You've always been good company to follow & keep. I'm very happy to read I'm one of your favorite blogs because that is a genuine rarity, granted he isn't anywhere close to being a popular or well-known character for a variety of reasons. & once more, thank you for acknowledging the work I put into his portrayal & that I stick by what Capcom designed / implemented themselves, either good or bad. There are some core aspects of his characterization that I can no longer imagine writing him without at this point in time, even in the presence of AU's / crossovers. I know this may be disappointing for some, especially for mutuals outside of Tumblr that I've been writing with for these past few years, but I did pick him initially because I enjoy writing villains, & I enjoy writing them ( but not the themes / tropes they represent ) at their worst / most accurate. Shitposting / Slice-of-life interactions with virtually no exposure to horror just doesn't cut it for me, I'm sorry. I am a horror movie junkie after all!

So we had state testing at school today, and we had two and a half hours for five problems. I had two hours to kill and accidentally made a wbb au. It just started with me drawing an angry Nom Nom, then I just kept going and ended up with an entire au. 

The short version is that Nom Nom is homeless and the whole rich asshole thing is just a ruse.

The long version (and I do mean long) is that he was adopted by some high-up lawyer who thought it would be a neat idea to have a pet koala. Nom Nom was smarter than the average koala, but still had an animal mindset. He was mostly just an accessory and was left in a small cage in the livingroom. He practically grew up in that cage and pretty much forgot that  there was a world outside the house. Whenever anyone important came over, his owner would let him out and brush him and feed him extra to make him look happy and tell a story of how he found Nom Nom starving and cold on the side of the road and how he saved him from certain death. Nom Nom believed those lies, he had no reason not to, and he always strived to make his owner proud. Unfortunately when the important somebody left, it was back to the cage. Nom Nom would always resist and end up causing a mess, to which his owner would call him a useless animal. One day Nom Nom finally decided he wanted to be more than some useless animal and attempted to learn speech. His first words were “not useless?” after he had gotten into his cage without so much as a noise of protest. His owner did not take it well. There had been some animals that had already starting living in society and it wasn’t necessarily a new thing, but now that Nom Nom could talk he would be able to say how he was treated, which would be bad news for his owner. Nom Nom was dumped in an alleyway the next day.

Nom Nom wasn’t yet at the level of intelligence to really live in society, but he was smart enough to understand how to solve problems using critical thinking. He learned things slowly at first, but over time realized that humans loved cute things and that he could make videos and take pictures then post them on the internet. He learned how to look things up and make a donation page, which is how he gets most of his money. Along the way he somehow thought that in order to be popular, you had to be rich. After that he spends a good deal of his earnings trying to look more professional, he buys anything that he thinks will make him look cool and famous in hopes people will like him. After what happened with his old owner he was left hurt and confused and never wanted something like that to happen again, so he distanced himself from most human interaction. He’ll certainly sign autographs and such, but people like Grizz who want to be his friend make him scared and nervous. He’s worried that they just want to hurt him and will often lash out to try and get them to leave him alone. He’ll do just about anything to keep his popularity because donations are the only thing keeping him alive. People dont donate to him as much as they would a human celebrity because they assume that as an animal, he doesn’t have any real need for the money, and he is often called selfish for even asking. He’s worried people won't want to watch him if they find out he isn't as well off as he pretends to be, so he just lets people insult him. He’s learned to grow a tough skin but being called ‘useless’ is still a big thing to him. He sleeps in a box and uses an old shirt as a blanket. Also he really likes photography because it's a reminder that no matter what happens in the future, a calm moment will come again. He mostly takes pictures of flowers and clouds. 

Whew, that was supposed to be a short summary but I just kept thinking of stuff to add. Oh well, I had fun writing it.
