I don't know who needs to read this, but people who are pro Buck and Tommy having a healthy relationship with good representation on screen, whether it goes the distance or not, are not automatically against Eddie having a coming out arc.

Like guys chill the fuck out.

I would argue that 7x05 had too many storylines and felt rushed. I'd honestly rather have fewer stories an Episode and each is given proper time (so they don't skip over shit like Buck and Eddie talking post basket ball, or Chim and Buck talking post punch, or Bobby and Athena talking post ship disaster etc). They actually showed the Karen and Hen talks after the Eva storylines and that's so important and good.

Tommy isn't getting screen time without a main with him so stop pretending he is. He's a background character who is currently there to prop up other people's storylines. It's unlikely he will ever be a main as they already have 7 of them. Can you think if you've ever seen a Karen or a Ravi or a Lucy or a Taylor storyline that wasn't there to really be about one of the mains? No.

I am literally seeing BuckTommy enjoyers having to fucking preface their posts with the fact they obviously ship buddie too just so they don't get abused. It's genuinely disgusting that people are more fixated on their specific (and I would defo class it as fetishistic at this point with the obsession some people have with buddie) ship that they would actively damage other people's enjoyment of the show.

This accusation that people don't care bout buddie anymore because Tommy has kissed Buck and Tommy is white is fucking insane. This fandom regularly accuses anyone who says good things about Buck or Bobby of being racist. Maybe, and hear me out, people are happy that they are getting some bi representation? People who have been pro buddie since 2x01 are getting sent hate because they are happy that a character has come out, despite never turning against buddie.

It's literally normal to be watching a show and be like "yes, I want characters X & Y to end up together but currently they aren't and that's not an issue for me". It's a fictional show.

I want Eddie to get a coming out story line and I would not be upset if it didn't revolve around Buck because 1. Eddie is his own person, and 2. I KNOW that if it did revolve around Buck, you guys would immidiately say it's worthless because it's not an Eddie story but actually a story about the "white boy". Like you literally cannot have it both ways.

You can't beg for coming out story lines and then say "wait that's the wrong person they're kissing." It's a coming out story line. It's literally a gateway to a whole new world of stories in the show.

Chill out, go outside, maybe try to enjoy the show you claim to love instead of shitting on it, the actors and the other fans

Renewal of vows

The ninjas are secretly planning a vow renewal for Garmadon and Misako as a surprise.

“Dad, just do what we say.” Lloyd and the guys approached Sensei Garmadon.

“Alright,” Sensei Garmadon replied, a look of confusion crossing his face. “What am I supposed to do?”

“Write down your vows for mom on a piece of paper. We have a surprise tomorrow at five,” Lloyd instructed as they began to leave.

“And make sure to dress nicely!” Kai called out from the side.

“I’m afraid,” Sensei Garmadon muttered to himself as they departed. “Who knows what they’ve come up with now?”

“Why do I need to write my vows?” Misako asked, looking bewildered at Nya and Pixal. She was trying to grasp what was happening but couldn’t connect the dots.

“It’s a surprise,” Pixal said with a gentle smile. “The point of a surprise is that you don’t know what’s going on.”

“And don’t forget not to discuss this with Garmadon,” Nya warned.

“Alright, alright,” Misako sighed. “But you know I hate surprises!”

“You’ll love this one,” Nya said mysteriously, a smile playing on her lips.

“Unless something goes wrong,” Pixal added.

“It won’t,” Nya insisted. “Remember, tomorrow at five, dress nicely. And we’ll need your wedding band; I promise we’ll return it.”

“Are you ready, Misako?” Pixal asked as she and Nya arrived at Misako's side.

“Just a moment,” Misako replied, wiping and adjusting something on her paper.

“Come on, it’s fine,” she said, and Pixal took her hand to help her up. “Garmadon is probably already waiting.”

“Okay,” Misako said, not particularly thrilled. “What do you need that scarf for?”

“For you to cover your eyes,” Pixal said, gently placing the scarf over her eyes.

“Now I’ll guide you.” Nya said, taking her hand.

“No way,” Sensei Garmadon shook his head when he saw the scarf as they asked him for the wedding band.

“Knowing you, I’ll end up in some ditch alongside you and loose my weeding band.”

“Come on, Sensei G,” Cole tried to persuade him. “It’s part of the plan.”

“Change the plan,” Sensei Garmadon demanded.

“Trust me, Dad; you’re going to like this.” Lloyd pleaded.

“At least that’s what we think,” Kai added.

“You’re definitely going to love it,” Lloyd insisted.

“If you say so,” Sensei Garmadon sighed. “Alright then, blindfold me and take good care of the ring!.”

“Let’s go,” Jay exclaimed excitedly as they led Sensei Garmadon. “Why did we stop?” Sensei Garmadon asked.

“We’ve arrived,” Lloyd said, letting go of his hand.

“And they blindfolded you too?” Misako exclaimed in surprise.

“Misako? I hope you’re not planning to kill us,” Sensei Garmadon joked.

“Not yet,” Kai replied.

“Lloyd, we have a problem,” Nya whispered to him. “Out of all the plans, we forgot to decide who would lead the ceremony.”

“Oh no,” Lloyd said, grabbing his head. “Maybe it’s best you do it.”

“Are you sure?” Nya looked him in the eyes.

“Totally sure,” Lloyd confirmed, and then they heard a loud sound.

Misako turned and accidentally elbowed Kai, who was sitting nearby.

“I’m sorry,” Misako exclaimed, alarmed. “You'rr alright,right?And you are..”

“Kai,” he grumbled while rubbing his forehead.

“Will you please remove this blindfold from our eyes?” Sensei Garmadon asked.

“Sure, we will,” Zane said, removing the scarf.

Misako and Garmadon looked around, surprised at what appeared to be a small wedding setup.

They exchanged glances, both happy yet confused.

“What is this?” Misako asked.

“Your anniversary is soom so we wanted to throw a small renewal of vows,”Lloyd announced proudly.

“What’s that?” Sensei Garmadon asked, puzzled.

“You’ll see,” Lloyd sighed.

“Alright, you both need to read the vows you wrote to each other on paper,amd just like at wedding here are the rings.” Nya instructed.

“Okay,” Sensei Garmadon said, taking Misako’s left hand. He wasn’t sure if this was how it was supposed to be, but it felt right.

“Alright, you know I’m not good with words,” Sensei Garmadon admitted, looking into Misako’s eyes.

“But I did my best to make this at least resemble something. Ahem.

Although I was the one who caused our family to initially fall apart, I promise you that I have always loved you and will continue to do so forever.And I will not allow our family to fall apart again, no matter the cost.”

With that, he slid the ring onto her finger. Misako smiled softly at his words, then frowned.

Sensei Garmadon looked at her with concern. “I envisioned this a bit differently,” Misako said.

“What do you mean?” Zane asked from the audience.

“I wrote that I would always be by your side, and then I listed all the life situations that could happen, as they came to mind…”

Nya facepalmed.

“Alright, I’ll improvise,” Misako smiled, looking into Sensei Garmadon’s eyes with her piercing emerald gaze.

“I vow to always love you and never give up on our love, as I nearly did before. I will stand by you, no matter what trials await us, as long as you are willing to stand by me, I will be with you.”

With that, she placed the ring on his finger.

“I will always want to be with you,” Sensei Garmadon said, embracing her. Misako hugged him back, and they both smiled.

Behind them, everyone was clapping and later they celebrated and had a wonderful time.~~~~~~

“Honestly,” Sensei Garmadon said to Misako that evening as they lay in bed, “I felt pleasantly surprised today like never before.”

“Me too,” Misako replied, snuggling up to him and resting her head on his chest.

“Who would have thought everything would go off without a hitch?” Sensei Garmadon laughed softly as he gently ran his fingers through her hair.

Misako suddenly pulled back to look him in the eyes.

“Do you really believe we can live this peaceful life together forever?”

“I believe so,“Sensei Garmadon said, taking her hand and kissing it. “I'm sorry if my vows...“

“They were perfect” Misako said, to Sensei Garmadon’s surprise, as she leaned in and planted a kiss on his lips.

This took him by surprise, but he welcomed it and kissed her back.

“Everything will be alright,” Sensei Garmadon whispered as he held her close.

“I believe,” Misako said, resting her forehead against his. “I think we all deserve that”

Oh my gosh I'd love to yap, thank you sm you're so kind!! I have so many hcs so ill try to pick some good ones to share! (Yapping below the cut because I talk a lot)

1. Gon will pretend to be (or accidentally come across as) oblivious when he isn't.

Gon is shown to be very observant and clever at times but still most people persume him to be simple and naive. There's a lot of comedic potential for situations where Gon uses that to his advantage.

Specifically I envision a killugon sinario where someone is hitting on Gon and he just acts friendly and pretends their intentions fly over his head in hopes of not having to deal with it. From Killua's perspective he's stuck watching as someone flirts with the densest idiot on the planet and likely get irritated the whole time.

2. Immediately following the CCA Gon hates ants

Not to the same degree as Kurapika with spiders but somthing similar. I can imagine him getting called out by Mito for killing ants when there's no need to. And similarly him being kinda mean to cats but as he heals from CAA his relationship with animals heals

3. Gon bakes/cooks for Killua

Killua ofcourse has a massive sweet tooth and I think it's cute if Gon doesn't like sweets to contrast with him, and even cuter if despite not liking sweets he still makes them for Killua! Part of it is I imagine Gon missing Mito and Abe's recipes so he'll make some of their dishes on occasion.

I hc Gon's favorite desserts would be lemon poppy seed muffins and zucchini bread. Killua's would be triple chocolate brownies and strawberry cake.

4. Killua let's Alluka have his Greed Island ring and Gon puts the Palidin's necklace charm on his keyring

5. Gon becomes a Lost Hunter and Killua becomes a Poison Hunter

I feel like for a long time Killua wouldn't be any specific kind of hunter and just chase whatever was exciting at the moment. Eventually though I see him hunting for poisons because his immunity would make him especially well suited for it

6. When the two of them reunite, Gon offers to help take care of Alluka

I think it'd be really sweet if Gon saw all that responsibility Killua takes upon himself and offers to help carry the weight with him. Killua would probably reject the idea initially but Gon would insist on wanting to help support him like Killua did so much for him

7. With the trans Gon hc, I feel that Gon would initially be nervous seeing Killua when they reunite because of how puberty has made them more different

Gon getting a little dysphoric dealing with female puberty when Killua isn't and wishing they were still the same like when they were twelve. Killua would definitely reassure him though and Gon would pretty quickly grow comfortable with their differences
