hmmmm. i'm pretty torn on this one actually.

i think leo, initially, talks a big game about bending you every which way over every surface. but ultimately he likes positions where he can kind of... disappear into you? like. for leo (in a relationship, anyway) i think sex is a lot less about coming and a lot more about the emotional connection he'd have with you. so he'd be really into positions where you can gaze sappily at each other, or the kind of position where he can burrow his face into your skin and press close all over, pinning you to his skull like a pinup, which would ultimately kind of limit the positions you'd go to.

donnie on the other hand... i think he'd always be trying new things. new positions. new toys. new scenarios. new kinks. he's the kind of try most anything once kind of lover. but i also think he'd find, like, the two or three that he really, really likes, and he'd want to do those more often than not. consistently trying to make those better, because that's its own form of data collection, right? sure, he's eaten you out before. but has he made you come twice? three times? what's the limit? do you even have one?

so i think donnie would try things more often, but he'd also be more limited in the things he really likes; whereas leo would ultimately try fewer things, but he's a lot broader about what he'd be willing to do because he's so specific about what he wants from it.

What kills me is that we get scenes of moments where Lionel shows that he COULD be a good father too Lex but actively chooses to break him down rather than build him up, even after the truth of the brothers death comes out. It bothered me in the later seasons how Clark was willing to give Lionel more of a chance than Lex it seemed at times. Lex is what Lionel made him.

& then you get lionel in his "good era" where his cancer ridden soul was literally healed by the goodness personified that is clark kent & it's so sad because while lionel's healed: lex still has to live with this. even when his father is being nice to him, caring for him, trying to be a "good father", lex can't trust it!

he's the dog that's been beat too many times & you almost feel glad for lex in a sick way that he didn't let those walls down when lionel reverts back to being a bastard because at least he won't be hurt any further.

yes yes that's what I meant by I love the scaloneta nt because it's like with city where I started following them and rooting for them because of pep but I cannot root for a team that I don't end up like caring about so in the same way I ended up caring about the city team as a whole then I also care about the argentina nt team, and especially the current one because it's one formed by so many players I enjoy aside from argentina

22. Nap

Unlike Leo, Neymar rarely ever took naps. Usually the younger man was always full of energy from morning to night while Leo used any free time to sneak away and sleep for a short while. However after partying all night before, Neymar was feeling particularly sleepy for once. The afternoon sun that filtered in through the window onto his bed was warm against his skin. He glowed golden and he smiled softly when Leo entered the room looking equally sleepy and satiated.

“Hey,” Neymar drawled out as he reached out a hand towards Leo.

“Hey,” Leo muttered out grabbing a hold of Neymar’s hand and allowing the man to pull him onto the bed.

“I feel so sleepy,” Ney mumbled.

He nuzzled his face into Leo’s torso and wrapped his arms around his waist. A silent request for Leo to take a nap with him. The other men slid down until they were lying face to face with each other. Neymar hummed softly when one of Leo’s cold fingers traced his eyebrows softly, stopping to run over the slit before continuing down his his face. His eyes fluttered close as he focused on the trail his finger left. Running over his cheekbones and tickling the ridge of his nose before finally reaching his lips. He outlined them lightly following the curves of the small smile Neymar adored from the sensation of the feather light touches.

“Sleep, cariño,” Leo said gently.

Neymar slipped his hands under Leo’s shirt rubbing the ridges of his shoulder blades.

“Sleep with me?” Neymar asked already half asleep, eyes barely open.

Leo moved forwards, placing a kiss to Neymar’s forehead then tracing the spot lightly.

“Of course,” he mumbled as he wrapped a protective arm around Neymar’s shoulders.

Neymar smiled once more before letting sleep consume him, safe in Leo’s arms.

Oh, definitely don’t worry about tagging me!  I...honestly saved them to read later and then my notifications got overwhelmed and life has been really rough and complicated the past few days and I literally forgot.  I’m so sorry!  That is definitely my bad.  ><;;;;;;

I fiddle with things.  And some of my thoughts changed as I’ve written and brainstormed some things?  Like - originally I thought Claire and Lionel met in college and he helped her transition (I write her as trans, I know that’s not always a thing, but it plays into how I think through the other things), but I ended up having Devon in that role instead (which I think fits better).

But I think - I think Andi and Lionel met first.  Lionel’s a substitute teacher; maybe he knew Helen ish, saw Andi, and mistook her for her twin.  At first, Andi probably wouldn’t have been enjoyed being mistaken for her sister, but as they got to talking, she would have felt a little more comfortable with him.  Exchanged numbers for later chats in a coffee shop or something like that (I think they actually met in a Barnes and Noble or something like that and then Andi got roped into Lionel’s nerd talk about some scientific application of stuff in his sci-fi books that he thinks he could actually do).

Claire would have been next - I like to think she, Andi, and Lionel were the original three - and it had nothing whatsoever to do with her politics initially.  They just met in a waiting room for some sort of doctor check-up, and Claire seemed really uncomfortable, and Andi just started talking to her.  Eventually her attempts at politics would have come up - maybe Andi recognized her name when Claire introduced herself and mentioned that she’d voted for her (whether that was actually true or not), and Claire just was immediately endeared to her.

I think the three of them met up at the Glass Onion - Andi called them both together so they could get to talking, so they could all be together.

Lionel might have heard about Duke from his kids - Duke wouldn’t have been a streamer then, but he might have been doing well at video game tournaments - or maybe Lionel liked to play at tournaments, too, but not, like, professionally, just for fun every now and again, and then thought, you know, he’s a pretty good guy, he might be fun to go drinking with, let’s introduce him to everyone and see how it goes.

...also I really just want Andi and Birdie to have been college roommates.  Which I guess means Andi would have met Birdie first.  But like.  Imagine.  Imagine.  Andi just initially not liking Birdie at all but then slowly but surely growing more endeared with her, and then Birdie leaves college to go into modeling (I knew someone who actually did this for about a year, quit college to be a model) - but I think Birdie joined the group last because she was “taking a break” from modeling (but really something else happened), and Andi immediately invited her to join her new group of friends.

Lets not forget that heart crushing flashback where absolutely no'one showed up for Lex's birthday party when he was a kid. Though probably one of the very few times Lionel tried to lift him up rather than break him down.

no that episode had me crying fr. it's just something so relatable & seeing this was a moment when lionel could attempt to be a good father & even then it just fell slightly short because all it did was reinforce his toxic mindset just. god. it's heartbreaking.
