But I think it's finally time I post it.

I reread it recently and I don't think it's as spoilery of other wips as I had initially and thought and its related to the other stuff I'm gonna post soon so why not use it as a preview for it?

Mob psychobook headcanons

These could actually apply to any social red but Psychobook is the one i know besides Tumblr (and no, none of them have tumblr...maybe just Seri)

Teru's

Teru's used to be the typical popular kid psychobook where used to he the typical popular kid psychobook where he posted pics of the parties he went("Crazy night guys, thanks for inviting me!), his soccer matches ("Another victory for Vinegars soccer team. You are welcome~") and trainings(even some from his personal training when it didnt end that bad), the food he ate at the new trendy coffe he went and the obligatory selfie every couple of days that will make his notifications blow up everytime with likes and comments

Now he sometimes still does those but he posts mostly pics of nice sights he finds on his bicycle routes, pics of him hanging with his friends/new family or the lastest fuck up Reigen did

He, Shou and Tome are invested in a meme competition. Whoever makes Mob laugh the loudest wins. Sadly they have to be with him so he can see them.

Rarely Terus posts a pic of him & Mob (or Mob alone) with the emoji equivalent of a gay keysmash and when he does it drives crazy the whole alumnae of Vinegar middle school, everybody wondering who is that bland looking guy and what Teru meant by that.

Mob's

Mob's used to be empty but now it's filled with pics Tome posts of their karaoke outings, pics where the body improvement club tag him and Terus, shous and tomes memes

But he rarely uses it and doesnt get to see them. Still he likes the milk memes teru found (do those even exist?)

Thats why he doesnt know he has basically become the body improvements star. Captain musashi and the others tend to photos of him with inspirational quotes (warrio male kind of) in the club page to attract new reclutees

After terus mysterious post a swarm of Vinegar students tried to add him as friend

But Mob thinks they are internet weirdos and ignores their invitation

It's actually Dimple who uses it more

Ritsu's

Ritsus used to be th pristine psychobook profile proper of a student council member. He had added the majority of the school and he made posts of the schools next event, resolutions the council had reached after their last session or answered any question any student could have but was to shy to personally ask.

His most personal post where the seldom book quotes he posted from the lastest book he read and liked.

Everything changed with Shou

The students didnt know who he was but suddenly this random kid started to tag Ritsu in even more random posts(most of them hamster related...Ritsu liked all of them?) and post pics of him AND RITSU doing the weirdest things you could imagine

Theres a pic of Ritsu with the most ridiculous susprised face(thats the most expressive people have seen him?? Whats going on?) in front of a microwave in flames. The fact shou edited it with a caption saying "And he didnt believe me eggs could explode" didnt help

Theres another of them hangin at the tallest part of the city (people dont undertsmad how is that even possible? You cant even acces that area)

And theres even a blurry pic that looks like they are running away from a police car

Shinji, who knows whats Ritsu is truly capable of, likes each of those pics

Everybody in Salt middle school is confused. But the only thing they get is Ritsus "Sorry" to Kamuro when the council president makes a blank comment in the infamous police pic.

They quickly recognize Shou as the kid that sometimes flies(yeah FLIES) besides Ritsus classroom or sneaks in the school

Shou's

The only reason Shou made a psychobook profile was to keep in contact with the espers that helped him during the domination arc

But he quickly realizes how useful it is to annoy Ritsu when he is bored

Besides the memes and Ritsu pics, his psychobook is full of interesting facts of different animals and reblogs of drawings from artist he follows and tutorials

As Mob he was invaded by a swarm of vinegar students once he appears in one of Terus pics. He accepts all of them the same way he accepted Ritsus classmates. It ends well for him because that way his drawing are seen by many peoplea and he receives lots of likes.

It takes a while but he finally unblocks Seri one day. Seri likes each and every thing he posts and makes encouraging comments on his drawings.

Serizawa's

Seri had a profile during his isolation days where he added many "friends" (random internet weirdos) with whom he talked about the things he liked and the media he consumed

Once he rejoins society with the Spirits and such cre he makes a new personal profile

He only has his family, the spirits and such crew, his school friends and the super5 added but thats all he needs

He follows many cooking and baking pages and once he learns to cook he saves the recipes he wants to try

He doesnt know if he cried more the day Shou unblocked him or they day Teru put him as his dad.

Minegishis

Minegishi only has the super5, Mob Ritsu, Tome and his coworkers added as friends

He follows many pages about plants and how to take care of them and pages that post downloadable audiobooks for Shimazaki

He rarely posts but he likes all the posts where he is tagged.

His elder coworkers tag him in lovely pictures of flowers with inspirational quotes. He likes those too.

The other super5 make fun of him for this but they secretly like them, especially those that talk about being a good person.

He follows many trolling pages too but never reblogs them. He doesnt want the other to know where he gets some of his humor sense.

Hatori

Hatori follows mostly memes pages, specially those about programming because he can "relate"

He say he understands them. (He doesnt)

He almost fell for the "delete system32 to make you computer faster" joke but his coworkers stopped him. He passed it as him messing around

Shibata's

Shibata follows personal trainers and healthy foods pages

He and Seri swap recipes they find and think the other might like

He saves exercises routines and tries to convince the other super 5 to try them with him.

Specially Hatori, he needs them.

He is only succesful when he finds those routines based on fictional characthers

It doesnt last much

He follows the body improvement club page. He actually sends some of the quotes that end up in some of the Mobs pics.

Shimazaki's

Shimazaki doesnt have a psychobook per se

It's a bot that hatori made to post "uwu" ":3" or "nyas~" every once in a while

The profile pic is the photo they took of Shimazaki wearing the prank glasses

Sometimes the other super5 post photos of their hang outs

"Its our register of Shimazakis progress!" says Hatori

Sometimes it receives messages from internet weirdos and most of them go along the lines of "Weren't you the guy that kidnapped the prime minister?".

The others are horny texts.

They delete all of them.

Tome's

Tomes psychobook can be considered the normalest of the spirits and such crew.

Even though half of her posts are cospirational thories and supposedly aliens sightings

Apart from that she has the normal amount of friends ("Seriously guys, why do you have every random you find added?") and posts a regular amount of pics of her hangouts

Besides the memes. Teru and she share LGBTQ content they find interesting

Seri somehow is the first to know about the lastest news of the videogames they follow and tags her on them

She edits Terus posts of Reigen fuck ups and turns them into memes. The super5, Ritsu and Dimble(using Mobs profile) always like them.

Its on psychobook where she organizes the telepathy club next reunion

She has been nagging Mob and Take to use their psychobooks more so they can see in time what they are planning to do

Takenaka's

Take has enough with the whole wind reading thing. Good luck trying to convince him to make a psychobook profile.

Reigen's

Since his birthday during the separation arc Reigen decided to completeley get away from his psychobook seeing as how little those persons cared for him

But he forgets to delete the app

So one day his phone cant stop blaring with notifications and when Reigen picks it up to see what the hell was going on

He had messages and messages of exfriends congratulating him for his son and saying things like "Wow Reigen, you had it very closeted" "we didnt know you were so private" "who is the lucky mother?"

Teru had put him as his dad

Reigen was having an existencial crisis and needed some comfort so he started searching Seri

Only to find him crying because Teru did the same to him

They ended togeyher as a crying mess sprawled over the couch. Only Dimple got to see them like that

So writing my fanfic "Sunflower" made me think of these headcanons but i couldnt post them then because i hadnt finished the super5 headcanons and didnt want to spoil some things. As you can see this finally shows what Ive been saying of "College funds", "Sunflower" and the "super5 headcanons" taking place in the same universe.

Really, i wrote down a timeline of how these things overlap and can tell you what the s&s crew were doing while shimazaki was fucking around or what the super5 were doing while the crew celebrated terus birthdays.

turns out i had inadvertently set up my blog at the same time as some community that started on twitter moving to tumblr. i had NO idea realpokemon was a thing. i have no clue what rotomblr is still. idk what you guys are doing there. it was just the funniest coincidence ever

now i mod the server realpokemon owns and ive posted on that blog before (remember janiel... that was me. i got to be annoying as hell for a day AND i doxxed rodney)

anyway my actual tip when it comes to AUDIENCE would be to give people something theyd be interested in. i get very very few asks about teak himself even though he has a life and lore outside of this blog- people just dont really care about that though? theyre more into science stuff. i like to talk about biology though so it works out. also interact with people when you start out. there are discord servers out there meant for networking afaik i think those would be a great place to start

HOWEVER: i think you should do whatever you want. stories exist to be told. the presence of audience and followers and all that shouldnt be a requirement. tell your story!!! make your art!!!!! be free!!!!!!!!

What is a Hakupo?

Hakupo Tsukishiro is a energetic and powerful masculine voicebank for Utau (and amadeusy but we dont talk abt brunnnoooo). He was released all the way back in 2010 and has had many important milestones in his 13 years of distribution. Four compilation albums, 7 voicebanks, 2,500+ fanarts (that i all have), and uses by really awesome people *points to the crowd*. That's all of you guys out there. <3

Hakupo as a character is inspired by moe, thanks Clarice. Like most moe characters, he's a bit air headed and happy go lucky person. His positive attitude is sometimes brought into original songs he's featured in, which just makes me smile- girlbosses love a good pick me up song.

Also he has a stupid little coat and pants. This is all you need to know to vote for Hakupo, but I will continue forward incase you are still on the fence.

What does Bobo mean to me?

I found Hakupo 7 years ago now, sitting in the middle of an Utau melody. I told myself I would just turn off my tablet and listen to the music. Yeah that worked- guess who was next after the screen turned off. BOBO! I needed to see the little creature creating this melody. I turned on the screen, and was not disappointed. Fancy twink in a oversized tailcoat with weird pants. I remember rambling to my mom later about how cool he was, why he was so unique, and why this one specifically caught my attention.

He's been my special interest since then, everyone around me knows Hakupo wheather they like it or not. He's about 80% of everything I draw, 50% of what I talk about, and 100% of my little creature I snuggle up with every night.

Literally.

I have a Hakupo bodypillow. Can't sleep without him.

Anyways, he's helped me find a lot of my best friends *coughcoughmeatcoughrevcough*, never fails to make me happy, and helped everyone around me realize I'm extremely autistic. The least I can do is write an ungodly long propaganda post while drinking my coffee at 9 am.

in no particular order:

- Lensman (1984) is the second ever anime to use CGI in a bit at the end where the protagonist gets lost in some kind of demonic cyberspace. The entire movie is on youtube and the bit im talking about (which is all ive watched lol) starts at 1:25:45

- Pop Team Epic (2018) if you havent seen it already uses a variety of mediums including different types of stop motion (with paper, fabric dolls, clay etc) to animate its shitpost sketches and its truly a delight

- Heike Monogatari (2021) looks like a traditional Japanese painting come to life. No surprises that its amazing since it comes from science saru, the studio savant director yuasa masaki (who will appear again on this list) established to experiment with bleeding edge technology.

- FLCL (2001) Look, you knew this was coming, i knew this was coming, we all knew this was coming. But come ON. this shit was made with 2d digital animation in the YEAR TWO THOUSAND and it STILL looks better than most stuff from today. do you even remember what computers were like in the year two thousand??? this is an anime KNOWN for being insanely creative with animation, famously letting all its animators do whatever they wanted in their scenes. some of the scenes weren’t even story boarded by the director. They animated MANGA PANELS for chrissake. they did a SOUTH PARK bit. i will not rest until all of my followers have seen this anime idc. just pick any moment from this video and its guaranteed to blow your socks off.

- the tatami galaxy (2011) if you haven’t seen this show WHAT are you doing. im not even gonna say anything ill just drop the trailer here and let it speak for itself.

- Pingpong the animation (2014) i know, i KNOW. an anime about ping-pong? but seriously, just LOOK at it. after tatami galaxy this is our third and final yuasa joint of the night. The man is a genius.

- akira (1988) you know this had to be on the list. im not even gonna drop the trailer because if you follow me theres no way you havent seen at least a gif of this movie. You’re welcome.

- sonny boy (2021) hey so do you guys remember this little anime, it was sort of popular a while ago, kind of niche, it was called “one punch man”? yeah so the guy who directed that basically did such a banger job that studio madhouse handed him a bunch of money and resources to write and produce his own original anime (NOT adapted from anything) and he made one of the great philosphical treatises of our times, no lie

- Keep your hands off eizouken (2020) i was really trying to keep this list free of links to cr*nchyroll yt but there are no other uploads of this scene and I really need you all to see it. Not only is this anime GORGEOUS, its story is really good, the humor is funny and the characters are SO endearing. Very much an “anime for people who dont like anime”, the girls have realistic (and therefore unusual) designs, theres not a bit of fanservice in sight, just a feel good story about three friends making anime for passion and fun.

- angel’s egg (1985) okay so theres not a lot of cel animation in this list and you may be thinking, hey m.a., dont you always say cel animation is your favorite kind (you insufferable hipster)? but theres a reason for that. Because of how time consuming cel ani is, most cel anime that I would consider visually appealing (eva, rgu, kite, etc) do so by using their resources very smartly and creating evocative, striking, atmospheric imagery through a mixture if photography and direction. some of the most memorable images in evangelion are barely if at all animated (the holding cell shinji misato and ritsuko alternatively end up in, the escalators down into the bowels of NERV hq, the infamous elevator scene, and of course the still of shinji in unit 01 holding kaworu). Tldr cel animation is VERY pleasing to the eyes when its actually animated (see akira) and its unique limitations push directors to be especially creative and talented (the opposite of whats true for digital but that’s another rant) but most cel animated stuff is… well its pretty and its nostalgic but its not technically impressive from a pure animation perspective. but there are some exceptions. lo and behold: the entire angel’s egg movie by visionary director oshii mamoru, on youtube dot com.

- mononoke (2007) this is another one where i dont even need to say much. Just LOOK at it. the fact that this exists is a marvel.

- samurai champloo (2004) HA! you thought i was gonna put bebop on this list didnt you? well jokes on you. one day maybe i will write my “champloo is better than bebop, YES really, NO im not just being a hipster” rant but that day is not today. the trademark watanabe swagger and swashbuckling and the inventive and brilliantly animated fight choreography that characterizes his stuff are in their full glory here. this truly feels like looking at a real life fight between swordmasters - youre legit gonna have to watch at .5x or go back a bunch of times to catch everything they do. its glorious. also i want mugen and jin to sandwich me who said that.

ok im kind of tired of typing and i think I managed to cover at least my favorites so heres some honorable mentions: panty and stocking, kill la kill regrettably plus trigger needs at least a little shoutout, devilman crybaby yes its good yes i stand by it you can fight me on this but it wont go well for you, mars red, bocchi the rock but you’ve probably already seen it, mob psycho if you havent seen this yet what are you even doing, sayonara zetsubou sensei but im warning you its very anime, urotsukidoji if you’ve got the stomach for it lol.

Maybe I should make a list of anime with good and interesting animation so more ppl can get taste lol

SEES playing Splatoon HCs

(If you ignore the fact that splatoon came out 6 years after p3 happened, just pretend it's a everyone lives AU or time just doesn't matter)

I know damn well that minatos either a splattershot main. Don't ask me how i know i just do. His favourite special is the crab tank, again don't ask I just know these things. Also he's definitely X rank or bordering on S+ and S but stopped caring to rank up once he hit that.

Hamukos prolly a roller main or smth. I can't rlly think of any other weapon rn. Her fav special is either the ultra stamp or the inkzooka. She's definitely in X rank and is fucking terrifying in clam blitz (like most ppl are).

Yukari mains the tri-stringer, enough said. But b4 splat 3 came out she was probably a inkbrush user. Her special is the booyah bomb and gets mad when the others dont ink their spawn (even at the others on the enemy team).

Junpeis would main splatana in 3 and would always be the player to charge to the enemy base as soon as the match starts. He's the guy players mean when they say ink your spawn. Also imagining him struggling to use the zip caster (like me cause using that shit is hard)

I imagine fuuka being a pretty good charger main that it's scary. But even in videogames she prefers being the support rather than being at the front.

If there were fist weapons in splatoon akihiko would main that shit. But since there isn't then blaster main or whatevers quicker. He definitely protizes splatting the enemy team, which doesn't do well in turf war lol.

Mitsuru doesn't play videogames that much but she's probably a brella user cause I can't think of anything else for her but shes pretty good at ranked, mainly tower control. I think her main thing would be stealth, sneaking up on enemies and when they least expect it attack them from behind. And yes she has fallen off the edge more times than she would like to admit.

Aigis is either a dualies or e-liter main and is the poster child for scary tenta missles players. And since their an anti shadow weapon they probably have like an auto aim installed in them that sort of messes up splat matches sometimes.

Kens a splattling main due to it being able to fire continously so it's like a endless onslaught. He likes the inkjet special as it makes him higher than the others so he can easily pick them out.

Shinjiro is either a splatana stamper main or doesn't know how to change his weapons so he's stuck using the splattershot Jr. Him and aki get VERY heated when they get put on opposite teams, they always gotta beat eachother and mitsuru is sick of it. Imagine this: aki kraken vs shinji kraken.

Whenever SEES has game nights it's hell, especially pvp games. They get through 5 matches before one of them gets pissed off and picks a fight. This usually ends in mitsuru scolding them and any wounds getting patched up.

Koromaru is just a bystander in all this, wondering what he did to be stuck with these people.

- he does muster up the courage to kind of confess, and it's a bit off-putting but they think it's flattering how captain levi himself has a thing for them

- overall, it'd be impossible to tell until he starts acting upon it since he would deny it for so long. but that made him realize that maybe showing a little extra love for someone isn't all that bad <3333

MAJOR LEAKS SPOILERS/ READ WITH CAUTION

Update: after reading more theories from fellow RM bloggers, and sleeping over it one day, this entire chapter might be an april fools... Don't fully lose hope yet beautiful people. It's me just giving a review on a possible fake April fools chapter

After following this franchise since 2013, so nearly a DECADE. this ending is a pure disserve to the entire fandom. I feel like Yams has rushed it just for the sake of being done with the entire manga. So many things are left open, characters and their developemt are reverted back all the way to chapter 1 or are left even worse than that...

Mikasa’s worthless character development/ Aaronmika’s horrible toxic codependent relationship 

Oh honey... Let’s start with how horrible Isayama has treated her. We were all rooting for her, because we all felt like she was so misunderstood. She had a horrible childhood and imprinted on a guy who treated her like trash 99 percent of the story. And then, slowly but surely, she starts to realize she has to stop obsessing over him in the uprising arc with the help of a real man who treats her like a queen, more importantly, he treats her like a real human being. This man sees her for her abilities and that she has the power to be self dependent. She learned parts of herself, that she was able to work together with him like no one else could.  She learned parts of herself she was unable to do so if she kept obsessing about Aaron. All this love, care, mutual understanding and RESPECT these two shared. 

but...NAH FUCK THAT, right Yams?? Throw all this development away, all this bonding. Let’s make the main female lead even more yandere than she already was in the first season. Let her make out with his decapacitated head (like dude, this is also pure disrespect to Aaron’s dead body btw) and let her obsess even more about the guy who has treated her no better than a piece of toilet cloth 99 percent of the time. The guy who was never really appreciative in front of her for saving his ass billions of times, who always pushed her away, who yells at her and snaps at her whenever he can instead of reasoning and talking calmly with her in mature way. (EVEN PARODY YOUTUBE CHANNELS WHO DONT SHIP ANYTHING MAKE IT A TROPE WHERE AARON TELLS MIKASA HE HATES HER GUTS WHENEVER HE CAN) 

Then after all that, suddenly Yams tries to last minute persuade us Aaron’s always been head over heels for her???  He should have build their relationship better which he hasn’t even tried to do so... He must be thinking his fans are stupid for eating this from his hands.    

Like seriously??? What is this??? 

Isayama is just fully contradicting himself. It’s like someone tipped him off with a buttload of money for him to write Aaron like this to satisfy shipping needs and to cash in those extra money’s from it. Even if he tried to cater to Erem*ika, this is not how you write a loving and caring couple which people will root for. 

This next two panels just freaking infuriates me to the core of my soul. I can’t even describe how dissapointed I am with Mikasa. 

Why is she clutching that head so obsessively like that?  Why is she walking and turning her back away from her comrades? After everything they have done for her, after all they’ve been through?! After everything Armin has done? Standing up for Mikasa, beating up Aaron for hurting her. I feel like even Jean, Connie and Sasha have cared more for her in a healthy way.  Sure, Aaron cares for her romantically too apparently (What a twist Yams :)), but has he aided her to becoming a mentally healthier individual? Has he aided in her mental stability? The answer is a big fat NO!  All I see between these two after today’s raw Chapter’s are too Yandere obsessed individuals who have no clue on how to maintain a healthy relationship. 

Love should only go as far as the heart can endure and it seems like her character is not willing to be aware of that. Even Armin was able to let go of Aaron in those latest panels. Why does her entire character resolve around this guy??? I really do not understand. Her Ackerbond and her age is not an excuse for her to throw her life away like this. 

Shonen’s disgusting portrayal of women 

I’ve seen this countless of times in the many years I’ve watched anime. SasuS*ku from Naruto, Ichih*me from Bleach, Shinji and that oranged hair girl from Neon Evangelion.. Why do these women get decreased to simpletons with one single goal? And that is to obsess over a bland male lead who either treats them like trash or doesn’t notice them up until the last last chapter (LITERALLY WHAT YAMS HAS DONE). Some go even as far as the male leading wanting the kill the female love interest and yet the female lead is still in love with them???. It’s disgusting for him to write the MAIN female character this way. 

It’s dissapointing we believed in Isayama doing Mikasa’s character right. That she’s finally being able to let go of her codependency and to live for herself maybe live in Hizuru and find more about her roots???, but every single time she shows some improvement, it’s burried deep in the ground again by the Author. It almost seems like a lowkey kink of some of the male Mangaka’s to write about a girl obsessing over them no matter what. I see this so many times to the point that I truly stand behind it that some of them might have this fantasy. 

I wished he didn’t portray her last panels like this. Everyone else is living their lives while Mikasa is still grieving about him. I’m not saying she’s not allowed to grieve and everyone takes it at their own pace, but cmon... Show her living her life too. This is too much. Her being next to his grave and grieving him as her last panels just shoves it in our faces that YET AGAIN, BEING OBSESSED WITH AARON IS ALL HER CHARACTER STANDS FOR. 

I truly despise how Isayama handles her grieving, kissing his decapacitated head, carrying it around like some handbag, and her last panels being thissss.

The world leaving Paradis alone miraciously after all that??? 

It’s so weird and out of place with so many political feuds and disagreements between the world and Paradis, the entire Rumbling happening and we can see Mikasa just chilling outside in Paradis with no one bothering them. You can see the rings of the walls in the picture below.  I don’t know the exact reason behind as the manga is still in Korean, but from what I see, the story went the route of: throwing a happy ending without enough proper reason and  it was all fixed just like that in a snap! It doesn’t fit the entire narrative of attack on titan for things to be so peacful out of nowhere. When it comes to the narrative, how things work in that world, how hard it is to achieve peace, everything made somewhat sense up until chapter 138. 139 seems so so out of place...  It’s like I’m reading a chapter from a totally different manga. 

Aaron Yoghurt got defeated so easily/ Aaron’s character assassination

The build up on the first part of the rumbling was great, those kids carrying coins. You could feel humanity’s fear and Aaron’s hatred in those pages. As if he truly had a goal and he has turned away completely from his comrades and his closest friends with no return. The world seemed truly doomed, but he  got defeated just like that. He was in the nape all this time (because screw the warhammer power of hiding yourself elsewhere in his ginormous titan body). There is no master plan as we all expected, and in the end he just acts all yandere in the paths with Armin and that’s it... They massacared his entire character as well. Many fan theories created a better ending with his character. Him being reincarnated as Historia’s baby would be so much better. For him to still keep on seeking and to strive for power. It has always been his motive. It’s his personality from the start until chapter 138. Even if things are okay, to keep on going and to seek that adventure, but then.. He’s so weak and directionless suddenly.. It’s so weird... This is not Aaron at all???

Historia’s baby 

The only panel we got from Historia’s child was this. Just a normal kid, normal life... Why did Isayama put so much effort in highlighting Historia’s pregnancy if it was nothing too spectacular anyway? It seemed he had major plans for this kid and for their development too??? It’s again, big plans, big developments, big relationship dynamic, but all  got thrown out of the window... 

Don’t read the next sentence if you are a minor :’) 

It’s like almost ejaculating, but stopping right before it and repeating that every single Arc.

My energy when writing about this chapter is the same as Nostalgia Critic and his hatred for atla the live action

In Conclusion...

I know us fans should not be deciding on how this story should end, because this is Isayama’s story after all, but I truly wished for him to wrap up things much more rounded. There are so many unanswered questions... Again, I think for the sake of being done with this manga, he rushed all of it. He’s become a millionaire from this story and now his pockets are jammed full, I guess he doesn’t need to put in any effort anymore, right? Perhaps a controversial opinion, but I really wished he cared for his fans a little bit more with this last chapter by giving some answers that make sense at least. It’s his fans who gave him this platform and the opportunity to tell his story and for him to at least give in a bit of effort especially in the last chapter is the least he can do. Rivamika being canon or not, he truly rushed it without thinking much about the entire story line. He expanded it so much, he didn’t know how to bind it all together.

Even after all this, I’ll still ship them in the headcanon type of way. I do give credit to Isayama for giving us a template for such a beautiful dynamic between Levi and Mikasa. He decides to waste it, but that doesn’t mean we have to.  I want to thank all the people with amazing writing skills, the ones who give us beautiful art like @carmenlee @phit chan @vialesana​ and many more. I want to remind all of you that we can create something beautiful of our own and we don’t neccesarily need canon lore for that. The art I’ve seen, the fanfictions I’ve read have touched me deeper than Isayama ever could at times.The Mikasa in our mind is appreciate of Levi, is mature, classy and has a strong will for herself. They spend their remaining days together peacefully. Keep writing, keep drawing, stay creative.

Go off about Asumari I am begging you I am on my hands and knees begging I have been thinking about them all day

I MEAN IN THAT CASE I'LL GLADLY OBLIGE!!!

I already wrote an entire essay about asumari (for a friend who never watched Eva so its not perfect) which I want to rewrite in the future after rewatching 2.0-3.0+1.0 (I'm not watching 1.0 again lmao) and figuring out how the "read more" thing works on mobile shnsgdjs

But until then I'll gladly to talk about them more in unorganized rambling shsgsj Tbh there's a bunch of stuff I could cry about with them but for this one I'll try to keep my focus on their reunion in 3.0+1.0, because that thing is my everything actually.

It already starts with the fact that the second Asuka opens the door and calls, "I'm back." Mari already runs towards her, arms wide open, and just hugs her, even nuzzles into Asuka.

(To be honest, the reaction is more than understandable when you think back to 3.0 and how even then, when Mari was getting injuries by jumping and touching an awakened Evangelion and there is a literal Impact going on, Asuka still is her highest priority, Asuka is what's most important to her in that moment.)

And I love how okay Asuka actually is with that hug, because consider, this girl (in the body of a 14 year old) had enough strength to break thick glass just with her fist. If Asuka truly was uncomfortable she easily could've pushed Mari away, could've yelled at her (and we all know Asuka is very good at yelling and being loud), she could and would have done something, anything if she actually was uncomfortable by Mari's physical affection.

But she doesn't, all Asuka does is push Mari a bit to the side so she can get a good look at their room and the fact that Mari hoarded books (again) instead of purging some like she said she would. I dont know how this was performed in the Japanese dub but in the English and German dubs Asuka doesn't even sound actually annoyed, frustrated or angry. It's more like... this friendly kind of annoyance that has this, "I should be annoyed but I'm not even suprised at this point and I love you anyway dumbass"-vibe. Especially when you compare how Asuka previously talks to Shinji and Rei with how she talks to Mari. That's... idk it feels diffrent.

The best part is that later on even when they sit down that Mari is still hugging Asuka and that Asuka seemingly is okay with this as long as she gets enough space to play her game (understandably so, I'd like space to play my game as well lol)

Honestly I think that Asuka's behavior here implies that a) Mari is always like that and that Asuka is very much used to her being like this, and b) That Asuka being so... just so okay and accepting of this means that perhaps, deep down, she does appreciate the physical affection. Like you can't tell me that someone who grew up without parents, and later became an angel isnt touchstarved to hell and back, heck Asuka admits in Instumentality that she just wanted someone to pat her on the head. But in the real world she was way too bitter, way too closed off and hurt to ever see what was right before her, which is Mari so openly caring so much about her, so much in fact that she tells Asuka, "I missed you."

And Asuka just can't openly realize and accept this, but only unconciously does so and they make me so fucking emotional man.
