He made his mark in the 1970s San Francisco music scene, most visibly with Harvey Mandel, Buddy Miles, and Santana. I met Bob after he’d turned his life over to God and devoted himself to classical and contemporary Christian music projects. He compelled me to up my game in musical discipline and expand myself as a bassist and singer.

From 1981-87 I played with Bob almost weekly in an eclectic church worship group. We fanned out into recording, pop-rock musicals, and playing in gospel vocal groups that shared bills with Zoe, a Grateful Dead spin-off w/Donna Godchaux and David MacKay (Ark, Michael Nesmith). As I worked with Bob in various projects, he introduced me to Buddy Miles, Pat Craig (Tazmanian Devils), Frank Souza, Marcus Uzilevsky, and other talents who’d affect my career in varying degrees. I feel indebted to Bob as a talented, warm-hearted musician, and great teacher.

Kronologi 22 Tersangka Kasus Timah, Kerugian Negara Tembus Rp 300 Triliun

Menurut Badan Pengawas Keuangan dan Pembangunan (BPKP), kasus korupsi tata niaga timah di wilayah Izin Usaha Pertambangan (IUP) PT Timah Tbk (TINS) dari tahun 2015 hingga 2022 akan menyebabkan kerugian negara sebesar Rp 300 triliun.

Dalam konferensi pers yang diadakan Kejagung beberapa waktu lalu, BPKP menjelaskan bahwa perkiraan jumlah kerugian itu berasal dari tiga elemen perhitungan.

Pertama, PT Timah kehilangan harga sewa smelter sebesar Rp 2,85 triliun. Kedua, PT Timah membayar bijih timah ilegal ke mitra penambang, yang menyebabkan kerugian negara sebesar Rp 26,649 triliun.

Ketiga, ahli lingkungan Bambang Hero Saharjo dari IPB menghitung kerugian negara sebesar Rp 271,06 triliun karena kerusakan lingkungan.

Kejagung telah menetapkan 22 tersangka atas dugaan kasus korupsi ini. Bahkan, pada Kamis (13/6/2024), Jaksa Tindak Pidana Khusus (Jampidsus) Kejagung telah melimpahkan sepuluh tersangka dan barang bukti ke Kejaksaan Negeri Jakarta Selatan dalam Tahap 2 Perkara Timah.

Jadi, siapa yang tersangka dalam kasus dugaan korupsi tata niaga di wilayah IUP PT Timah Tbk tahun 2015–2022? Berikut adalah daftarnya:

Korupsi Timah Sisakan Kerusakan Lingkungan dan Anak Putus Sekolah

Kasus dugaan korupsi pengelolaan timah pada wilayah izin usaha pertambangan PT Timah 2015-2022 yang merugikan negara Rp 271 triliun adalah puncak gunung es dari praktik pertambangan timah yang tidak memberikan manfaat untuk Bangka-Belitung. Praktik culas membuat pertambangan ”Si Emas Putih” hanya memperkaya segelintir pihak dan meninggalkan kerusakan lingkungan serta fenomena anak putus sekolah.

Tidak ada yang berubah dari kehidupan sehari-hari masyarakat di Kota Pangkal Pinang, Pulau Bangka, Babel, Minggu (31/3/2024). Padahal, Kejaksaan Agung baru saja mengungkap kasus megakorupsi pengelolaan timah yang menjerat 16 tersangka sejak Oktober 2023, termasuk sederet orang ternama, seperti pengusaha timah Bangka Tengah Tamron alias Aon, perempuan berjuluk crazy rich Pantai Indah Kapuk Helena Lim, dan suami artis Sandra Dewi, Harvey Moeis.

Bagi warga, mereka tidak asing dengan isu mengenai praktik korupsi pengelolaan timah yang dikendalikan oleh segelintir orang yang tidak tersentuh aparat. Itu sudah menjadi bahan pembicaraan sehari-hari, terutama di warung kopi. Bahkan, jejak praktik itu bisa terlihat di sejumlah lokasi sekitar. Saat era kemerdekaan, lanjut Elvian, praktik monopoli di era kesultanan dan kolonial terus diterapkan. Namun, hasil timah tidak pernah benar-benar dirasakan oleh masyarakat.

Ketika terjadi reformasi, masyarakat diberikan kesempatan untuk melakukan penambangan. Ternyata, itu justru menimbulkan petaka baru yang tetap ujung-ujungnya hanya menguntungkan segelintir pihak. Sepanjang sejarahnya, para penguasa coba meraup keuntungan sebesar-besarnya dari keberadaan timah di Babel. Akan tetapi, seburuk-buruknya monopoli yang ada di masa lalu masih menyisakan jejak pembangunan di masa kini. Sebaliknya, para tersangka megakorupsi timah hanya meninggalkan jejak kerusakan lingkungan dan fenomena anak-anak putus sekolah.

Menurut saya, dalam berita ini Korupsi memang sangat tidak dibenarkan dan sangat keras harus diberantas, apalagi menyangkut dengan timah, yang dimana Indonesia merupakan negara dengan produksi timah terbesar kedua setelah China. Menurut data Kementerian ESDM, Indonesia memiliki cadangan timah sebesar 800 ribu ton atau 23 persen dari cadangan timah dunia yaitu 4,7 juta ton.

Selain itu, Indonesia mampu menghasilkan 85 ribu ton timah per tahun. itu artinya timah merupakan sumber daya alam yang berasal dari indonesia yang seharusnya dijaga bukan disalahgunakan seperti ini untuk kepentingan segelintir orang, karena sejatinya kekayaan dan kemegahan indonesia wajib dinikmati untuk masyarakat bangsa indonesia sendiri.

Transition to Professional Practise

About me page including: a brief on your background, sports interest, work experience and careerambitions. In addition: a reflection on your study performance to date and areas to improve; expectations and aspirations this subject.

Coming from a diverse background and having grown up in a country foreign to both my parents, a key way to integrate into the community was via community sport. From a young age sport/physical activity was used as a gateway to meet new people and maintain a healthy lifestyle aligned with Australia culture like Emie et al. (2020) explains “most children and adults play sport” (p. 8).

Outside of academics and work, sport/physical activity have been an integral part of my life. This is because I learnt how to stay fit and work within a team.

Ever since a young age, I would complete swimming lessons and according to my mother I had started playing rugby as soon as I could pick up a ball and run. Sport is such an integral part of my childhood and adolescence as it taught me values of teamwork, discipline, respect and perseverance. Koon et al. (2017) states sport and physical activity can assist positive development for young people.

Throughout my academic journey I have been fortunate enough to complete work experience in various industries. From work experience with the King of the Court (basketball) and assisting St Kevin’s Old Boys Football Club. Having this industry experience has expanded my knowledge and expertise by highlighting the hard work and dedication with my deeply rooted connection with the sporting world.

Looking forward, my career ambitions revolve around either running my own business, becoming a player and investing further in my education and myself. I’m passionate about media and sales/marketing and committed to continuously developing and education myself to improve my abilities. As Shilbury states et al. (2020) sports agents have adapted their marketing strategies to maintain current sporting environments. This will assist me in executing my skills and knowledge during my internship and future career.

Reflecting on my study performance to date, I’m proud of the progress I’ve made, and the achievements accomplished along the journey. Whilst having a neurodevelopment disorder and specific learning disability it has provided various challenges throughout my studies. However, overcoming these obstacles has shown myself what I am capable of. Furthermore, there were times where minimal motivation and effort resulted in mediocre content and submitting assignments late. As I embark on Transition to Professional Practise and internship, I am excited for the challenges ahead. However, I hope to gain practical hands-on experiences and industry experience benefiting my future. Comparable to Ismail (2018, as cited in Galloway et al, 2014) who explains how internships create opportunities for students to gain skills, which cannot be taught in a classroom environment Ismail (2018, as cited in Galloway et al, 2014).

Additionally, the chance to learn under professionals in the field and expand my professional network is something I am excited for and think I will do well in, being personable. In conclusion, I am excited about the adventure ahead and look forward facing challenges ahead and developing along the way.
