ive come to make an announcement
ive been doing that thing called "reading" lately & it's actually kinda neat. sure wish my ability to do it lasted.
#ive been reading the hmc novel & im on chapter 15/21#if i can read today i wanna finish it but it's been nice to have the ability for the first time in actual yrs#like. i mean ig i did read ultra maniac when the power was out awhile ago ? but i can read manga rly easily#i can manage like a series every couple yrs depending on if i have the physical copies#but physical novels??? i think... the last time i read them was when i read tlc in like 2019?#& even then i only managed to bc i was reading along w audiobooks#idk the last time prior to this that i read an actual novel on my own. it's been a v e r y long time#& i miss it man i miss reading sm. i do prefer the audiobook read along method cause shit sticks better when i do it#but i haven't had internet so i couldn't look it up & do that method#hhhhggg i want to be able to get my shit together so i can be on a schedule#& maybe sort out downtime that would let me read again#i have so many books ive owned for y e a r s & always start but never manage to finish :(#it sucks sm. esp cause when im unmotivated to write which i have been for a Long time#reading is the only thing that inspires me again. like i haven't rly successfully written much lately but reading hmc#has made me Want to again so#that's been nice. wish it could stay in this mode but reading takes SO much mental energy & i don't have much to spare rn#i got too much bullshit i gotta focus on surviving rn to spare much mental energy for anything else 😔#just wanna be done w all that shit & be a normal bitch again :/ it'll be over eventually but im impatient#& the little tastes of what life could be if i was over it help but also make the agony of being stuck sm worse#a n y w a y#ig whenever i finish the novel ill say m'thoughts since the movie is my favorite movie ever so.#we'll see how i feel abt the book at the end. it's V different from the movie but i like it so far so we'll see#mine
