Player: "Y-you aren't even my real dad!"

"Builderman?": "..."

welcome to the Block Tales Playerswap AU! a lot of information on this AU comes from my main blog, @inkedover! this blog will ALSO follow the timeline of the quotev PS fic, so wherever the chapter is currently stopped is where the blog is chronologically.

Red Noob: Ah yes, angry small child.

Benevolent King: Does this mean he has kids now?

Rockstar: Blissfully ignorant about the situation.

Woodsmen: Hanging out with music man!!!

Noobador: Dealing with…business.

down below is a synopsis of the story and the plot so far!

this will also include currently not in use tags. actually this just includes the entirety of the tag directory now.

Something is deeply wrong.

Something is new. Something that's not supposed to be new.

Following Red and Blue, they see their Uncle Shedletsky dueling against somebody.

Right as Shedletsky gains the upper hand both kids watch in horror as Shedletsky is struck down by his aggressor. A wave of chilling malevolence washes over them as the Player leaves, leaving Red and Blue to contemplate what had happened.

…this day…Blue Noob can swear she remembers it playing out differently. In fact, she can recall the fact that this day isn't supposed to go like this at all-...

Red snaps and begins following the Player. Blue can only helplessly follow as her brother traces the bloody path of the Player, only stopping when a mysterious figure sweeps them up into a surprisingly warm embrace and brings them to safety in the Ye Olde Inn.

Meanwhile, Player is having a mental breakdown. The voices they hear in their head...they were loud. Incessant. They wanted more. They wanted everything.

It doesn't matter what sacrifices needed to be made to achieve these goals.

...yeah I got sidetracked. here's the official updated disguises for my sillies.

Hatred:

"Builderman?"

definitely some sort of eldritch horror, built like an rthro character in 2010 😭

the most accurate out of all the disguises, minimal changes to Builderman's overall actual appearance. just the rthro thing...but that isn't something that it always does. it just does that to freak everyone out (it works)

obviously has the most accurate name

Greed:

my favorite idiot, $hedletsky.

MONEY MONEY MONEY, it couldn't get the body proportions down right so Shedletsky now has a SNATCHED waist

that stupid "I love fried chikn" shirt is now an "I love tix" shirt because all $hedletsky wants is MONEY and Hatred

has the most accurate personality out of all of the disguises

Fear:

fun fact, Fear and Solitude were actually swapped in conceptualizing (Brighteyes joke) but I thought that due to things I'll mention for Solitude that Brighteyes would make more sense for Fear.

Nighteyes

does NOT have eyes underneath the shades. Fear couldn't figure them out.

the LEAST accurate out of all the disguises, both in design and personality. Fear is not stable enough for this job

Solitude:

hilariously enough Solitude doesn't interact with other beings enough to think of a pun/cool play on names, so it just tends to call itself Mr. Cassel.

I actually chose erik.cassel for Solitude because I'm 90% sure that while he was active on the website he didn't really join experiences, making him perfect for Solitude's loneliness.

Solitude is actually the second most accurate to its original counterpart, surprisingly enough. I like to think that erik.cassel has some strange 2D vibe that makes him unable to wear things like shirts, pants, etc. so he took up wearing a hat to freak out Robloxians less. this made it easy for Solitude to mimic his appearance, it had the least work to do.

Solitude also wins in the second most accurate personality category, beating Hatred by a surprising margin. erik.cassel is just so elusive that Solitude emulates his personality near perfectly.

and that's the sillies. I thought I was cooking with the "what if every vice had a disguise" idea but then it hit me...Player (in Playerswap) was practically raised by the Roblox employees. it only makes sense for their emotions to take the form of people they've basically imprinted on, and since Hatred has the strongest influence on Player it was able to feed off of more memories of Builderman, building an impeccable replica of Builderman's appearance.

Solitude randomly having the most lore is fucking hilarious 💀

since it's 1 AM for me it makes sense to say that I'm going to post the chapter later today (hopefully). stay tuned!

Hatred: "Greed, I will strangle you with your own limbs."

Hatred reaches towards Greed, but it ducks away and shifts forms, making puppy dog eyes up at Hatred as crocodile tears formed in its eyes.

"Builderman": "STOP USING YOUR DISGUISE FOR MUNDANE THINGS LIKE- T H A T !"

$hedletsky: "Ohhh but you're allowed to use yours to mock Builderman, right Hatred?"

"Builderman": "You will regret ever crossing me you little-"

$hedletsky: "AHAHAHAHA! Awwwww, Hatred's sosososoooooo mad~! It's soooo cute!"

Hatred: "I T I S N O T C U T E T O I N F U R I A T E M E ."
