LADY GAGA LOOKS CHIC IN BALMAIN F/W24

She's alive! Lady Gaga enjoyed a low-key dinner date with her man at Nobu in Malibu last night, where she was later seen exiting through the kitchen.

She cut a glamorous display in an oversized black leather trench coat, adorned with golden snail seashell buttons, an off-the-runway piece from Balmain's Fall/Winter 2024 collection – which was a love letter to creative director Olivier Rousteing's hometown in Bordeaux.

Balmain's leather designer, Stanislas Vandenberge, was kind enough to whisper to me that Gaga's coat is a lovechild from two coats which were displayed on the menswear and womenswear runways.

I love Gaga's devotion to owning endless shades in her favorite style - cat-eye.

Here, she's donning the Gentle Monster Vis Viva 01 black acetate sunglasses with silver metal details ($340.00), which part oft their 2023 collection.

The oversized golden snail brass earrings with cystals ($895) also hail from the same Balmain collection.

This week's Disney hotel is the Shanghai Disneyland Hotel. The hotel's website mentions that its decor is inspired by Art Deco, which also inspired this outfit. To get some inspiration, I looked at the fashion worn in the Art Deco-themed TV show, Agatha Christie's Poirot, specifically the "Triangle at Rhodes" episode.

Starting with a pair of white, high-waisted, wide-leg pants, which were popular with women in the show, I paired them with an adorable poplin cropped top with a bow in the front and puffed sleeves. This top has a certain vintage flair that complements the pants well.

For the shoes, Oxford shoes were quite popular for exploring places, so I chose these silver ones to add a bit of chic to the outfit. Clutches were also big back then, so I opted for one with an English cover of Proust's "À la recherche du temps perdu," which was written around the time of the rise of the Art Deco movement.

To add some sparkle, I included these Chanel pearl earrings, as both Chanel and pearls were trendy during the Art Deco period. Finally, to protect yourself from the sun, I added a wide-brimmed sun hat that perfectly completes the outfit.

Overall, this outfit is perfect for a day out exploring the hotel's grounds or the park. It's elegant, timeless, and has a vintage flair that adds a touch of sophistication to any occasion.

Today's featured Disney hotel is Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter, which is themed after the city of New Orleans and its famous Mardi Gras festival. To match this festive occasion, I have put together an outfit inspired by the color palette of Mardi Gras: purple, green, and gold.

To avoid an overly "Little Mermaid" look, I decided to keep the green to the top part of the outfit and selected a glittery green jacket that would be perfect for Mardi Gras. For the dress, I chose a stunning purple Oscar de la Renta dress that is chic but not too glitzy.

Adding the gold elements, I selected edgy gold Tom Ford sandals that give the outfit a party vibe. I also added some more gold with the hair pins and the necklace, opting for a long necklace as a nod to Mardi Gras beads.

For the handbag, I chose a pillbox that can be worn as a tiny bag thanks to the attached chain. This particular bag is a nod to Louisiana's Cajun cuisine, known for its aroma and spiciness.

With this outfit, you are ready to take one of Sassagoula River ferry boats at the resort and celebrate Mardi Gras at Disney Springs.
